PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 26   Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:13 pm

The nurse came in to check on her. Walking over to the now happier group, she said, “She should sleep for hours with the shot. All of you should get some rest because tomorrow would be hard on Dori. They were going to set her arm and get her into a wheel chair. She will only be in for a few weeks while in therapy to get her strength back. So, she may need each one of you for support.” She was looking specifically at Sebastien.

Sebastien knew he needed to sleep so he could be with Dori and help her with her therapy, He agreed to a nap, but if she woke up, someone needed to wake him. He didn’t want to take the medication anymore so he would be alert when she woke up. They agreed with him that he shouldn’t need them now and would wake him as promised.
Sebastien was hungry so before taking a nap, he and Urs went to the café to get something to eat. It was the first time he had felt it was okay to leave her. He really had to talk to Urs and didn’t want the others to hear him. He wanted to know if it would be ok that he didn’t return to London till Dori was able to travel as well.

“Sebastien we know you don’t want to leave her. We won’t ask you to leave… at least not anytime soon. Carlos and I can go back and figure out what needs to be done.” He was very supportive of the problems Sebastien was still working through. The two of you will still have to deal with the news of the baby when the time was right. David shouldn’t be returning either till Walter was back in full charge of things. David is planning on asking Suzie to stay on and help him with the farm while Walter is healing. Siobhan and Cyd will stay for several weeks and help Dori with the things you can’t and help you if you need it. Dori should have women at her side while she is healing too.” He continued, patting Sebastien on the shoulder as they finished eating.

Urs walked Sebastien back to Dori’s room. Sebastien walked over to his usual place beside her, held her hand, kissing it good night before kissing her lightly on the lips. Then, he went into the bathroom to take a shower before his promised nap.

David and the others were pleased with how he had come through this so far, but they knew he had a rough road ahead for the three of them.
Urs told them Sebastien didn’t want to leave Dori and that he isn’t planning on returning to London anytime soon, as they had thought. Urs also told them that he and Carlos would be going back to London to work on the CD, as they had discussed already, without David and Sebastien and see where things stood. David was saddened by the fact the CD might be on hold, but Urs told him not to worry …he and Carlos could handle things in London.
Dori woke up about 6 am the next morning, and saw Siobhan and Cyd sitting holding her hands. They were asleep, but when she moved they woke up.

“Good Morning Sleepy head, how are you feeling?” Siobhan ask Dori as she yawned.

“Hello… and good morning to you. Why are you two still here and not at the farm with the guys?” Dori whispered.

“We stayed last night to watch over you and Sebastien. We take turns staying here till you and Sebastien are rested.” Cyd answered her.

“Where is Sebastien now… at the farm?” Dori looked, but didn’t see him anywhere as she couldn’t see the other side of the room.

“No, Sebastien doesn’t leave the hospital Dori… not until your better.” Siobhan informed her, patting her hand gently. “He is still asleep in the other part of the room… behind the curtain.” Siobhan pointed to the curtain behind her.

“Good, because I need to talk to you before he wakes up. I want to know why are you all here in the States? I understand David and Suzie… and even Sebastien… but why you and Cyd ….and Carlos and Urs?” Dori wanted answers and the girls couldn’t tell her the truth. “I also know that Sebastien is hiding something from me and I want you to tell me what it is.”

The nurse came in and told her they would be bringing her a tray with some soft foods. Later, they will take her down to set and cast her arm but she needed to try to eat first.

Siobhan followed the nurse out and asked if the doctor was around.

“Yes he is at the desk if you would like to talk to him…”The nurse replied, pointing down the hallway.
Siobhan went to the desk to talk with the doctor. “Dori is asking lots of questions and she needs to know the truth about the baby. Let it come from Sebastien because she believes in him and will handle it better coming from him.”
The doctor thought about it and said, “As long as everyone is careful not to upset Dori, then Sebastien could tell her, but he needs to assure her the baby is doing fine.”

Siobhan left and went back to the room and found Dori had eaten all of her breakfast. “She must have been hungry… good sign…” Siobhan thought to herself.

Siobhan went behind the curtain on the other side of the room and sat on the bed next to Sebastien. As she gently shook him to wake him up, Sebastien looked up and saw Siobhan. He sat up and started rubbing his eyes. “Is Dori alright Siobhan?” He asked her nervously.

“Yes Sebastien. But she is asking lots of questions and wants answers to them.” Siobhan told him calmly.

“What is she asking about Siobhan?” He continued, still trying to get his bearings.

“Everything Sebastien…. she wants to know why we are all here? She knows you’re keeping something from her… she is not dumb Sebastien. She needs answers. I spoke to the doctor and he said we could tell her about the baby, but to make sure she knows that the baby is fine”. Siobhan was torn between the hurt of telling her or not telling her.

“Alright I will get up and talk to her. But you need to be nearby… she may need you… you promised… remember?” Sebastien said as he got up wearing Jogging pants, a t-shirt and socks.
He washed his face and combed his hair before coming to Dori’s bedside. He leaned over and kissed her good morning before he whispered “I love you.” Taking a deep breath and looking into her eyes, he continued. “It seems you are concerned… from what I hear… that I am keeping something from you. You’re right I am. Your doctor didn’t want to tell you until you were stronger, but you seem to get what you want.” Sebastien sat on the side of her bed and held both of her hands, trying not to hurt her arm. “I wanted to be the one who told you this… because first off, I am very happy about the news.” Siobhan sat near Sebastien and Cyd on the other side of the bed; both to be there, just in case.

“Okay, then tell me now.” Dori said, trying to read his face.

“When you had your accident and didn’t wake up, the doctors did blood tests and other lab work. They found out that you are pregnant… about 5 weeks along. The baby is doing very well… the accident didn’t hurt the baby.” He wanted her to say something but all he saw in her face was shock and tears pouring down her cheeks. Sebastien leaned over carefully and held her close. “Dori I am very happy about this news. I have the Ultrasound pictures that they have taken while they were checking the baby out. Do you want to see… our child?” Sebastien pulled out the pictures and handed them to her.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 27   Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:15 pm

Tears continued to flow and he couldn’t tell if she was happy or sad. It took a few minutes before she could speak.

“I didn’t know Sebastien. I would never try to trick you into anything… I promise.” She turned away from his face, blushing.

“I know Cherie.., I had no idea either. So neither is to blame… but I am happy. Are you Cherie?” He said gently touching the side of her face to try to get her to look at him again.

“Yes I am happy… but Sebastien, what about singing and touring with the guys? Won’t the baby and I get in the way?” Dori asked still crying and looking down at her chest.

“No… I will go on doing my job. Darling, you and the baby will be with me … I will never leave you again.”He told her and kissed her again.

Siobhan was happy she took it well. She patted Sebastien lightly on the back as she reached toward Dori with a tender smile. Cyd also put her hand on Sebastien’s shoulder and her other on Dori’s shoulder, as tears welled in her eyes. Now they had many plans to make for her wedding and the baby.

Soon the surgical prep team came to take Dori to have her arm set and a cast put on. Sebastien put on some shoes and a shirt. He went with her to hold her other hand and be with her during the procedure. Siobhan and Cyd watched them wheel Dori down the hallway to the surgical bay. They knew they would make a great family …baby and all. They had never seen Sebastien more happy and content. Now he was going to marry the woman of his dreams and they were having a baby too. Arm in arm, Siobhan and Cyd returned to the quiet room now somewhat brighter, to wait for Dori’s return from surgery.
An hour later, Dori and Sebastien came back to her room. Dori was wide awake, talking and laughing with Sebastien. Sebastien explained that they used a local anesthetic for the procedure so it wouldn’t affect Dori or the baby. Siobhan and Cyd were pleased Sebastien was able to stay with her during the procedure and that she was happy again.

When the guys arrived, they were surprised to see Dori alert and interacting with Siobhan, Cyd and Sebastien. Siobhan took them to the other side of the room. She told them about what Sebastien told her, about the baby, and how well she seemed to take the news. They were very happy at least that secret was out.

Dori was to start Physical Therapy the next day. Siobhan and Sebastien would be there with her. Cyd and the others had gone back to the farm and were busying learning about the Alpaca’s. Dori would have to take it easy for a while, so Cyd stepped up to help out on the farm with the animals. Cyd loved animals and had a great time on the farm. Carlos was not the animal lover Cyd was, but enjoyed watching her grooming the animals and feeding them. When she was finished, they would take long walks around the farm and see Dori’s beautiful mountains. They loved the peacefulness of it all.

Since Dori’s therapy would be every couple of days, she would go down to the farm and leave Sebastien alone for the day and night after the first session. The doctors were very pleased with Dori’s recovery and would let her go to the farm in a couple of more days. The whole group was pleased that Dori would be getting out of the hospital soon even though she would be in a wheel chair for the time being. Everyone had the information but Sebastien and Dori. They would be informed when they returned from the hospital.

Urs and Carlos had gotten together with David and decided to go over to Charlotte to do a recording for Dori that Sebastien had mentioned. Urs called a radio station in Charlotte NC and set up the session. They would fly over and be gone for only the day. After that, Urs and Carlos would fly back to London to continue working on the CD from there and when it was time for Sebastien and David’s parts they would go to Atlanta for a day and record theirs. Dori would stay with Cyd and Siobhan; Suzie would help out with the farm.

Siobhan would supervise Dori and her therapy while she helped with any other things around the farm Dori couldn’t do yet. Siobhan and Cyd would also take time with Dori to plan her and Urs’ wedding. Cyd and Carlos were getting married first and that was almost finished. Dori was to be a bridesmaid in both weddings and would have to be out of her wheel chair to be in the weddings. Siobhan knew they had a lot of work to do to get her up and going at full speed. It would be good for Dori to have Siobhan and Cyd around, she needed the support.

Dori did well on the first day of the therapy, but was worn out when she got back to her room. She had to take a nap and get some rest. She began to notice she was more tired than usual, passing it off as the accident and wasn’t thinking about the baby. Sebastien, on the other hand, noticed her being tired and thought of the baby. He asked the doctor if there anything they could do for her. After reviewing her chart, he increased the dosage of vitamins for the baby.

Sebastien took his laptop and began to check into more of the pregnancy sites. He found out lots of great information that would help him and Dori. Sebastien was a proud and caring man. The news of them having a baby pleased him greatly. He and Dori had so many good things to look to the future for.

Two days more passed and the doctors decided she had done well enough to go home to the farm . She could have a therapist come to the farm to help her. Sebastien was pleased with this; he wanted be close to her and help with the exercises the doctors wanted her to do…

Siobhan was on hand to do the important exercises with Dori. Sebastien would fill in when he could. He was getting ready to leave but hadn’t mention that he was going on a day trip to Dori. She had a hard time adjusting to life at the farm in the beginning. She didn’t want to leave the house, but Cyd would push her out onto the porch and let her take in the sight of the mountains.

Sebastien tried hard to adjust to the mood Dori was in recently and decided that it was due to the accident and the coma. He would sit at night on the porch and remember the wonderful walks and the love making up in the meadow under the stars. He was so in love with her at times it would hurt.

Suzie knew that the farm needed to be run by Walter while David was away for the day. Walter needed to face Dori and be able to tell her what she needed to hear and not let on that anything was wrong. She confronted him in the den about it.

“Walter you know that the guys will be gone for at least one day. Since Dori can’t be told the truth about the accident, you are going to have to come up with an excuse as to how you were hurt. You can’t let on that you were involved with her accident. Do you understand?” Suzie was being a little rough with him but she knew he hated lying to Dori and he really didn’t want to now. He did understand what the doctor had told them, so he agreed to go along.

Dori, Siobhan and the nurse were on their way to her morning therapy as the guys came in for breakfast. Dori had already had hers with Cyd and Siobhan. She never heard the guys talking about their trip to Charlotte for the day. They had decided to pack a small bag just in case they had to stay one night more to get things done.

No one had informed her that they were leaving and she didn’t see the limo pull in and load the bags up. Sebastien wanted to say goodbye to her. As he came around the corner, he heard Dori lashing out about her therapy. He stood for a minute or two to wait until he thought she was calm. But she didn’t calm down; she lashed out at Cyd about the fact she was upset with Sebastien. “All he wants to talk about lately is this baby and us as a family. What kind of mother am I going to make like this?” She was loud and Cyd was stunned.

“Dori, Sebastien loves you and he wants you and the baby. How can you be angry at him for that?” Cyd was a calm person but she was not happy with Dori at that moment.

“Yes I know he loves me… but we fell in love very quickly. How do I know it won’t end as quickly with me in this shape? Sebastien didn’t count on this happening - me like this… or the baby. Is it fair for him to put his career on hold to care for us? I just don’t know right now.” She was still loud.
Sebastian had tears rolling down his cheeks and his heart was breaking for himself and for Dori. He turned around and walked out without saying goodbye to Dori. The guys knew something had happened, they could see it in his eyes and the tears. They didn’t want to push too hard so no one said a word to the airport.

Dori later had a nap and realized she hadn’t seen anyone in a while, especially the guys. She wondered where they had been all day. Siobhan came in and Dori asked her, “Where are the guys?” She told her that David and Urs and Carlos were gone for the day. She never mentioned Sebastien and Dori wandered why.

Siobhan had seen the lashing and had heard it. Sebastien didn’t notice she was standing nearby. She knew they would be back, but she wanted Dori to think about what her life was… and could end up being without Sebastien.

Dori wandered around the house that night looking in the different rooms and Sebastien’s to give her an idea where he could have went. “Did he leave her for good?...What has happened to him? … Why would he leave without telling her where he was going… and for how long?”

Dori picked up the phone and dialed Sebastien’s cell number. He answered it and said “Hello”.

“Sebastien, it is Dori. Where are you and why did you leave me without telling me you were going?” Came her questions and he really just couldn’t talk to her at that moment. He handed the phone to David.

“Hello, this is David…”Dori was shocked that they were all together and hung up.

Siobhan walked into the room and looked at Dori as she was hanging up the phone..
“Did you find Sebastien Dori”? She asked her.

“Yes and you knew he was with the others didn’t you? Why wouldn’t you tell me?” Dori was angry at Siobhan for not telling her about the trip.

“Yes Dori. I know where they are and why. You need to wake up or you’re going to drive that man away. He only wants to love you and your baby. How can you fault him for that? I saw what you did with Cyd today… and for your information so did Sebastien. That is why he left without saying goodbye. I saw him walk away with tears rolling down his cheeks. You have hurt him and I don’t know if he is coming back or going on to London when they are done.” She replied angrily, crossing her arms across her chest as she stared at Dori.

“If he doesn’t come back you have no one to blame but yourself. He was as far in despair over you as he could get without totaling losing himself. You have treated him terribly since you came home… and it is not what he deserves from you. He stayed at your bedside day and night while you were in the coma… he deserves better from you.” Siobhan walked out and wanted her to think about what they had talked about. Siobhan also called Urs and told him what she had said to Dori and ask him not to say anything to Sebastien.

Dori had a lot of thinking to do and she needed to talk to Sebastien. She also knew she had better get her thoughts straight first. The one thing she didn’t know was if he was coming back.

The guys got to the recording studio of the station and got down to business recording the songs Sebastien had wanted to do as a surprise for Dori. After they finished, they boarded the plane back to Asheville and back to the farm. Dori was in bed when they arrived and didn’t hear them come in.
Sebastien wanted to check in on her and opened the door quietly. He walked to the bed thinking she was asleep; kissed her forehead and whispered “I Love You”. As he turned to leave, he heard crying, turned around and saw her face.

“Please don’t leave Sebastien. Please… stay with me…. talk to me. I know you heard what I said today and I am so very sorry if I have hurt you. I didn’t know you were there.” She tried to calm down.

Sebastien turned on the night stand light and sat down next to her on the bed. He looked at the tears rolling down her cheeks. His heart was breaking and he loved her so much it hurt him to see her like this. “I am sorry I heard what you said this morning to Dori. I can’t help you if you won’t talk to me or keep pushing me away.” He told her gently but firmly, as he softly touched her cheek.

“Sebastien I would love to pretend that this had never happened…. but it did. Now look at me- in a wheelchair and on top it we are having a baby neither of us planned for. How can I ask you to put your life on hold for me and the baby?” She told him thru the tears.

“You don’t have to ask me for anything. It is what I want to do and I am not putting my life on hold for anything. You and the baby are my life. I can still do my job and be with you and the baby. I plan to do just that.” He told her straight out, reaching for her hand. “Stop worrying about this stuff Dori. It will drive you crazy… I want you and me to be together forever.”

“Will you stay with me tonight Sebastien? I really need you to hold me and love me?” Dori ask him softly.

“Yes, I will stay and hold you tonight. Tomorrow we will talk some more, but please …don’t shut me out anymore.” He kissed her hand gently before he moved it to his chest.

Dori looked into his eyes. “I promise… we will work this out tomorrow… and… we will love each other forever.” She could feel his heart beating under his shirt as he held it there.

Sebastien got undressed and climbed into bed beside her. He snuggled close to her and kissed her with such passion, she remembered how much she loved him. She never wanted him to leave her again. They talked on and off during the night. He kept her in his arms as he always did before. She knew his love was still as strong as ever. Sebastien and Dori fell asleep in each others arms during the night. No one knew where he was, but they knew he wasn’t in his room. They hoped he was with Dori.

The next morning Sebastien awoke before Dori and went to get some coffee and juice. He ran into Siobhan. She was very happy to see him in a good mood; he seemed up beat.

“Did you and Dori talk last night Sebastien?” Siobhan asked politely.

“Yes we have talked and we will be doing some more this morning, so don’t expect her down any time soon please.” He replied smiling.

“Alright… I will spend some quality time with Urs. If you need me, you will know where I am.” She told him smiling back.

Sebastien headed back to Dori’s room with a tray of coffee and Juice for when she woke up. But she was waking as he was coming back into the room and when she saw him she smiled. He just couldn’t believe how beautiful she was in the soft morning light. He loved her so much… more than words could say and had prayed for her to come back to him. She did and he wasn’t going to let anything get in their way again. Dori looked at the tray he put next to the bed before he lay in bed with her. Opening his arms, he held her as close as he could as she snuggled into them.

“I love you Sebastien.” Was Dori’s first words to him and they made him smile.

“I love you too, my darling…” was his reply. Then he kissed her with a wanting passion they both could feel in their souls. They spent the morning in the bed just talking. They seemed to be on the road to recovery as well as Dori’s body was.

“So will you go back to London with the guys to work on the CD soon?” Dori ask him softly, as she let her hand glide gently up his arm.

“Are you trying to get rid of me darling?” Sebastien was joking with her.

“No. I just want to know what to do if you have to leave to go home. I really need you with me and the baby.” Dori was crying a little.

“Darling, I have already told Urs I am not going home till you can travel with me. We’ve only made plans for Urs and Carlos to go back.”

“Thank you for that. Are you sure you can wait that long?” She asked him tentatively.

“Yes it will be fine. If David and I are needed, we can make arrangements for Studio time near here…” Sebastien explained to her, as he hugged her close.

“That would be nice for you and David to be able to stay for awhile…” Dori replied softly, tucking her head against his neck.

“Yes David and I will work it out. He can’t leave for a while and I don’t plan on leaving until you are ready to come home to London with me.” Sebastien said, kissing her cheek.

Dori was happy that Sebastien would not leave her behind. But it felt like it was her fault that they had come back and missed working on the CD. Dori wanted to ask Sebastian a question and wasn’t sure if he would be able to trust her again after her blow up at Cyd that he overheard.

He never told her that he had heard what she said and she never told him about the things Siobhan had said to her to straighten her out about him and his love for her.

“Sebastien, would you please move out of the spare room and into this room… with me? Share this room together?” Dori wanted to wake every morning in his arms and spend every night showing him how much she loved him.

“Why are you lonely, Cherie”? He asked her, teasing.

“I miss you Sebastien and I want to put us back to the way we were before the accident.” She was trying not to cry.

Sebastien could see the tears beginning to fall from her cheeks. He held her close and told her “Of course I will come to you… and stay with you here. We will never be apart again My Love.”

Sebastien knew they would not be able to make love again till the doctor said it was okay. He was content in moving in to the room where they could fall asleep in each others arms and awaken to a brand new day.

Dori felt happy he had agreed to share her room. Now, they would have more private time to talk about them and the baby. But this morning had past and afternoon had begun. It was time for Dori to have her therapy again, so Sebastien helped her get up and dress to meet Siobhan in the study. Siobhan was happy to see them together again and not so distant anymore. She could see the look of love in their eyes when they looked each other.

David was up with the chickens, still trying to adjust to running a farm, which he knew nothing about. Suzie had become invaluable to him and he was beginning to have the strangest look on his face when he looked at her. People were starting to notice it.

Suzie had developed feelings for David, but kept them to herself not wanting to seem too eager. David helped Walter with all the phone calls and meetings about the wool sale and learned a lot. David turned out to be a much more o f a business man than Walter expected. “David was smart and quick to learn the ropes. He would be a great farmer one day.” Walter thought.

Urs and Carlos were making their plans to return to London and do some more work on the CD. Cyd and Siobhan were not looking forward to this time apart now with the plans for the weddings were coming together. They needed more time with the guys not less.

Dori could feel the pain in the girls. Having to say good bye to them was going to be very hard. They had not been apart for a very long time. But it was to help Sebastien and Dori, so they could get on with the weddings and have them back in London again… soon.

Dori was to be the Bridesmaid in Siobhan’s wedding, so during her therapy they discussed the dresses and cake and flowers and so on till they had nothing left to do but laugh.

During Dori’s time with Cyd and Siobhan, Sebastien would walk to the meadows where he and Dori made love under the stars before the accident. He thought about the home Dori had wanted to build there. He talked David into going up one day to talk to him about the land there.

Sebastien wanted David to give him some ideas to go along with his own of a beautiful house over looking David’s property and the mountains Dori had come to love for all these years. They made plans to see an Architect about making plans for the home..

David and Sebastien would keep this to themselves for now and hopefully surprise Dori with the plan. Maybe by then, she would be out of the wheel chair and be able to come to the meadows again.

Sebastien had a hard time staying as busy as he was use to in London, so he would ride into the tiny town and walk around and look at the country shops.

A couple of weeks had gone by since Dori had come home. Each day, she was beginning to be her old self again. Sebastien was pleased she was starting to deal with the baby. Alone, in the room together, they talked about the name and she loved it. But it was too soon to tell if the baby would be a boy or girl. Dori had an appointment in town for a check up. She and Sebastien went together and got to see the baby again, together this time. Sebastien, Dori could tell, was going to be a wonderful loving father to their child. She in turn would love this child because of all the love he had given to her with the special gift of this baby.

Urs and Carlos prepared to leave the next day heading back to London and Siobhan and Cyd were very upset to see them leave.

“I will see you soon my darling.” Carlos whispered lovingly to Cyd as he kissed and hugged her tightly in his arms.

“Soon… very soon… my love….” Replied Cyd through her tears, as he rocked her gently.

“Good bye My Sweet Siobhan. I too will see you very soon.” Urs was trying not to cry.

“I will miss you and I love you Urs.” Siobhan said as tears rolled softly down her cheeks. He kissed her deeply and wiped away a tear.

They watched as the guys headed out of the farm and the girls all gathered together for a good cry.

Sebastien and David were taking them to the airport so they could talk along the way. They wanted to also give the girls some time together to cry. The guys shook hands and hugged as they prepared to board the plane back to London. Urs made them promise they would watch over Siobhan and Carlos asked the same of them to watch over Cyd too. They both said for Sebastien to take good care of Dori.

David and Sebastien watched as their plane took off from the runway and out of site.
After they left the airport and headed back to the farm, they spoke off and on about the meeting with the Architect that would be coming to see the meadows and help to design the home Sebastien wanted to surprise Dori with.

Sebastien and David returned to the farm and had dinner with all the girls, and Walter. Things on the farm were great and David found himself enjoying the farming business more every day. Of course, he missed singing, but this was so new and having Suzie there made it all the more interesting for him. Dori seemed better as every day passed. She and Sebastien were closer then ever. Cyd and Siobhan filled their days with things that would keep them busy and in the afternoon they would talk about the plans for the weddings. Evenings were hard on Siobhan and Cyd. They would call the guys and talk for hours and cry afterward. They all were very aware that the girls missed Urs and Carlos and they didn’t quite know how to help.

Dori began to make more and more progress to the point that the doctors thought she could start trying to walk a little everyday to build the strength back in her legs. She was happy to be out of the wheelchair for a while and if she fell she knew Sebastien would be there to catch her.

David and Suzie started taking walks around the grounds at dusk. David could see in her eyes that she was happy to be walking and holding hands. Suzie was beginning to have some major feelings for David but really wasn’t sure about his toward her until one evening they were walking back to the house. He stopped and turned her towards him and put his arms around her. He kissed her with a force of passion that she was lost in his arms. All she could do was stand there looking into those beautiful eyes and that wonderful face. He was more than she could fathom in her life. David kissed her again and she was more than happy to kiss him back. They spent every evening walking the grounds and would end up in each others arms, kissing. They enjoyed each others company and found they had so much in common.

David could see the beauty in Suzie even if no one else did. He was falling in love and he knew what he wanted; she was it. How to tell her was another thing though. He knew they had become close but did she love him? Little did he know, Suzie was thinking the same questions about him.

David decided they needed some real time alone, so he would make plans to go on a picnic with her and just enjoy each other. They went down the mountain to Pearson Falls. It was a beautiful place and where Sebastien proposed to Dori.

David enjoyed his private afternoon with Suzie. She was so easy to talk to and they shared everything with each other, including the love of his music. They ended up lying down on the blanket, kissing until it came down to the place where they could no longer control themselves. They were filled with so much passion that they decided to go back to the farm and be alone in his room. David wanted to show her how much he cared for her; she too wanted the passion that she was feeling to pour over the both of them. Back at the farm, they headed to his room. No one was around; the others must have been out somewhere on the grounds. They got to the room and locked the door.

David dropped everything he had in is hands right on the floor and pulled Suzie to him. He began unbuttoning her shirt and she in turned did the same to him. Kissing his chest as she went, it was almost more than David could take. He would nuzzle in her neck and kiss it; then up to her ears and lips where he settled. He kissed her deeply, making her feel weak in the knees. David picked her up in his arms, laid her on the bed and lay down beside her. They continued kissing until they could no longer hold back the feelings any more. They finished undressing each other, pulled the covers down on the bed and snuggled up close together; kissing and running his hand across her face softly as she did the same to him. The passion continued to build as they made love with the overpowering wanting and fulfillment they both had never felt before. Afterward, they lay in the bed and snuggled together; talking and kissing as they basked in the afterglow of their lovemaking. This was not Suzie’s or David’s first time; but it was the first time either had felt this much loving and fulfillment in anyone. When Suzie looked at him without his shirt, she could only run her hands up and down his stomach and chest. He felt he needed to kiss her again and that lead to more love making that was to last on and off all night. They finally fell asleep in each others arms and stayed that way until a knock came at the door. It was Walter looking for David. He called back that he would be down in a minute. Walter went to the study and David jumped up, put on some clothes and left Suzie sleeping.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 30   Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:20 pm

David walked downstairs to find Siobhan and Dori working on her therapy. He saw her standing for the first time, with Sebastien behind her and Siobhan in front of her. Then he watched as she started walking toward him. He hated to leave Suzie, but this was worth the trip downstairs. Dori was able to walk to David and hug him. He was overjoyed and had tears welling up in his eyes. Sebastien was also touched to tears. Dori was just plain out crying. Siobhan and Cyd could not control the tears either and Walter was just a mess all the way around. He finally felt a terrible guilt lifting off of him.

Dori was overjoyed. Sebastien gently took her out of David’s arms and held her in his. He kissed her and picked her up in his arms to put her back in her chair. After returning Dori safely to her wheelchair,
Sebastien looked at David and noticed how he was not very well dressed. He also saw that Suzie was no where in sight. His mind began to wonder what had he been up to, and how soon he would find out.

David went back to his room and relocked the door, undressed and climbed back into bed next to Suzie who was just waking up. She turned and faced him and saw the tears in his eyes, she could not understand what had upset him. He told her that Dori had walked to him and he was so very happy for her, the baby and Sebastien. Suzie was very happy for them to. It meant that Dori was getting better and that she would be able to walk down the aisle for the weddings. Suzie reached over and kissed the tears from David’s eyes and cheeks. They talked and then made love and spent most of the morning in each others arms.

When they finally did come down after their showers and dressing, everyone could see a change between them. No one said a word, they just smiled. Suzie wanted to see Dori, but Sebastien had taken her to their room to rest and have a nap with her so that would have to wait. Sebastien helped Dori get her shower, but they kept kissing so not much showering got done. They missed each other and wanted to be together. But they would have to wait a few more days until the doctor said that they could make love again.

David, Suzie and Walter got to work going over the books as the rest of the day slipped past. The wanting looks between David and Suzie continued. They were looking forward to the days end and the night together to begin.

David ran into Sebastien in the kitchen alone as he was getting Dori her tea. He looked at David with questions in his eyes and David knew he had to tell him. “Good morning Sebastien. How are you and Dori doing today?” David started out saying.

“Dori and I are fine, David. What is going on with you and Suzie this morning?” Sebastien asked him point blank.

“Suzie and I are doing quite well. If you must know Sebastien, our relationship has reached a new level and I am falling in Love with her. Last night we spent our first night together.” He informed Sebastien and smiled a beautiful and happy smile.

Sebastien knew it was love and was very happy for them both. Dori would be too when she heard the news. Nothing else needed to be said as far as the news was concerned because everything was turning out wonderfully for all of them. David and Sebastien had found the love they had been looking for all those years. Cyd and Siobhan made Urs and Carlos very happy and they were all about to get married. So things were looking up for them.

After few days went by, David and Suzie could be seen on the farm together all the time. Everyone was happy for them. Sebastien and Dori had another doctor’s appointment and discussed what possible chance there was of them resuming a love life. At this point, the doctor told them, it should be safe for them to make love again and shouldn’t hurt the baby. He told Dori it would be 2 more weeks before the cast could come off. Then she would need to start therapy on her arm to regain the strength she may have lost.

Sebastien decided to surprise Dori with a couple of nights away from the farm in a beautiful hotel at the Biltmore Estate with a Hot Tub and all. It was a new hotel on the property of the only privately owned Castle in the USA. The Biltmore Estate, set in downtown Asheville, NC and the grounds were amazing and they had a beautiful view of the town and the mountains. The property also had its own Winery and restaurant. They headed back to the farm where David and Suzie were setting up the reservations for them. They would pack and be driven in the Limo to the Castle and the Inn at the Biltmore Estate. When they got to the farm, David had everything ready for them. The room was set, the dinner order would be set for an hour after they arrived, Champagne would be in the room and the rooms filled with white roses everywhere. The bed would be covered in white rose petals for Dori. Sebastien thought of everything and if he didn’t, David did.

As they prepared for Dori’s surprise, she kept asking Sebastien where they were going. He would only tell her “… not far from the farm and we will only be gone a couple of days…” They watched as the driver loaded the bags into the car and hugged everyone good bye before got into the Limo. The drive was a short 45 minutes from the house. Dori so enjoyed looking out the window with Sebastien and seeing the mountain’s view as they went, pointing out different things to Sebastien during the trip. As they arrived at the gate outside the Castle Biltmore, they could see the long and winding driveway heading up the mountain. Dori knew where they were. She was so excited that she hugged Sebastien and began kissing his cheeks. They drove up to the Castle first and looked from the Limo windows at the most beautiful place they could have dreamed of. Sebastien was in awe of the beautiful surroundings; the castle was beyond words. They would come and tour it when Dori was recovered enough to walk in the place.

The driver took them to the other side of the mountain to see the INN at Biltmore Estate. It was amazing. Dori had not been there since they had built it a few years ago. He stopped, parked the Limo at the front entrance and got out the wheel chair for Dori. He and Sebastien helped her into it. Then, he unloaded the luggage and brought it to the bellman at the door. He was to get all instructions from there on from Sebastien as to when he would be needed again. Sebastien told him they would page him if they needed him before the next 2 days were up.

He drove off and left them to the manager of the INN. The manager was aware of who Sebastien was. All the requests had been taken care of. He would inform the kitchen to begin preparing the food for them to arrive within the hour at the door. The bellman took them to their room and unloaded the luggage in the bedroom as instructed by Sebastien. He tipped the bellman and closed the door after him. Dori noticed the flowers as they entered the room. Everywhere she looked, she saw white roses.
Sebastien carried her to the bedroom to show her the bed was filled with white rose petals, just like when they first made love. Dori could only cry tears of Joy

SEBASTIEN AND DORI'S GETAWAY AWAY AT THE INN AT BILTMORE CASTLE.

Dori and Sebastien looked around the room and saw all the beautiful white roses and the white rose petals on the bed. She was in awe of the King size bed. Sebastien stood her on the floor and let her sit down on the side of the bed. He sat down besides her, wiping her tears as they flowed down her cheeks. She was still in shock from what he had done for her. Sebastien had remembered to bring his Laptop to play the surprise CD that he and the guys had made for just this day. He never thought in his wildest dreams that he could be so happy and content; sharing his dreams with the most wonderful Lady in the world in his eyes and that they were having a baby, which was also a dream come true for him.

Dori got herself under control and turned to look into those beautiful eyes of his. She kissed him deeply on the lips and Sebastien was more than happy to return her kiss with a passionate and deep kiss of his own. They were in heaven… all the things, good and bad, in the past few weeks melted away for the rest of the time there. They would only make new memories that would follow them all the days of their lives and into eternity.

A knock came at the door. Sebastien left Dori sitting on the bed among the petals to check who it was and put out the ‘do not disturb’ sign. It was the meal David had ordered for them. He saw no one in the hallway and brought it in to the room, closing the door behind him. Sebastien wanted Dori to try and walk as much as she could. It would help build her strength back in her legs. He went to the bedroom and helped her up and put his arm around her waist to support her as they walked to the living room area. It was slow for Dori, but she did very well, so Sebastien rewarded her with more passionate kisses.

Sebastien had set the table near the couch so Dori would be comfortable sitting there. He would sit across from her in a chair. Once she was comfortable, he opened the Champagne that had been chilling and poured it into the glasses. He showed her the dinner that David had ordered for them. They sat and ate, only looking into each other’s eyes. No spoken words could have made this more special to them; instead, they let their eyes speak the sonnets of love they wanted to share with each other. After they finished, Sebastien moved the table back to the hall for removal by the waiter.

He came over to Dori who was sitting on the couch by the fireplace. He asked if she wanted him to start a fire. She nodded yes. Sebastien lit the fire in the fireplace and settled down on the couch next to Dori. As he wrapped his arms around her, she laid her head on his chest and finally felt at peace with the world … no one else existed in their world at that moment. Sebastien reached down and turned Dori’s face up to meet his. He kissed her deeply and once again, she was lost in the passion of his warm, tender kisses. They stayed on the couch, gazing into the fire and into each others eyes, kissing for awhile until neither could bear it any longer. Sebastien without words, stood up, swept Dori up in his arms and carried her to the bedroom. There, he placed her gently on the bed and began undressing her and she him.

They pulled the covers back. As they did, the rose petals floated softly to the floor. They climbed into the bed, snuggled into each others arms and kissed. With each kiss, the passion grew until they could wait no more to reclaim the passion they had so long waited for. They began making love and it lasted all through the night. When Dori finally fell off to sleep, Sebastien quietly crept out of the bed, put his Laptop next to her side of the bed and the CD beside it. As he looked about the darkened room, he smiled at the subtle beauty the flowers had added to the room. The petals that had been on the bed were mainly on the floor. He reached for a few of them and tucked them into a corner pocket of his suitcase. Then he climbed back into the bed, reclaimed his place in Dori’s arms and her in his. He drifted off to sleep, dreaming of the love he and Dori had just fulfilled in each other. They both were finally at peace.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 32   Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:31 pm

They slept in late the next morning. When Sebastien awoke Dori was still sleeping, so he quietly called for coffee and juice to be left at the door. Then, he returned to her arms and watched her sleeping quietly in his arms. While he was lying there, he was thinking of the song he had recorded with the guys for her in English and in French. It was a song he had remembered from before the accident called “Good Morning Beautiful”. It always reminded him of the first time they made love and he woke to the most beautiful woman in the world. Soon after, he decided to get permission to record it for her and change the words to French as a special surprise. The guys helped him sing it in both versions.

Dori finally awoke about the time a knock came at the door. It was the coffee and juice Sebastien had ordered. He got up, put on his robe, moved the table to the living room area and brought the tray with the coffee and juice back to the room with him. She sat up in the bed as he returned to her side. She glanced around the room and noticed the laptop on the nightstand beside her. She couldn’t remember it being there before they made love. She turned and looks at Sebastien asking him “What is this for?”

“I have a surprise for you, Mon Cherie, and I hope you are going to love it as much as I did making it for you.” Sebastien would say no more. He brought the laptop to the bed and places the CD inside, and turning it on for Dori to hear.

What she heard was Sebastien singing a song in English called
Good Morning Beautiful
Then, another version of the song in French. She could hear the other guys in the song as well and wondered when they had done this.

English Version..
Good morning beautiful
How was your night
Mine was wonderful
With you by my side
And when I open my eyes
And see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day
I didn't see the light
I didn't know day from night
I had no reason to care
But since you came along
I can face the dawn
Cause I know you'll be there
Good morning beautiful
How was your night
Mine was wonderful
With you by my side
And when I open my eyes
And see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day
I'll never worry
If it's raining outside
Cause in here with you girl
The sun always shines
Good morning beautiful
How was your night
Mine was wonderful
With you by my side
And when I open my eyes
And see your sweet face
It's a good morning beautiful day, yeah
A good morning beautiful...day
Good morning beautiful
A beautiful day
Good morning beautiful
Good morning beautiful
A beautiful day
Good morning beautiful day
A beautiful day
Good morning beautiful

French Version:

Bonjour Beaute

Bonsoir Beaute .......

Je ne me fais jamais de soucis
S'il pleut dehors
Parce que en ta presence
Le soleil brille toujours

Bonsoir Beaute ......

She remembered the night that she and Siobhan had words. The time that all the guys were away and she had no idea where Sebastien was. “Sebastien it is beautiful. Did you sing it in both versions for me?” Dori was crying, very happy and surprised. Sebastien held Dori in his arms and let her have her cry. She had earned that much. He was so happy she loved the surprise. The song fit that morning perfectly. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. After a few minutes, she turned to look at Sebastien, and kissing him and showing him how much she love the songs. They made love through the morning. Later, they drifted off to sleep, dreaming of each other and the happiness they had found and shared.

SEBASTIEN AND DORI'S GETAWAY AT THE INN AT THE BILTMORE CASTLE PART 2..

The shining afternoon sun awoke Sebastien. As he rolled over and looked at Dori, he saw his beautiful angel sleeping. He slowly crept out of the bed and took his robe into the bathroom to take a shower. Not wanting to wake Dori, he had closed the door behind him. He didn’t hear her when she awoke and couldn’t find him and started yelling for him. His lack of response sent Dori into a panic. She wasn’t able to get out of the bed without a great deal of effort and much strength. Dori could not hear the shower running, so she had no idea where Sebastien was. She tried to make her way on one arm and hand to pull herself out of the bed, but her legs weren’t much help. She was still too weak to balance herself alone.

She manages to get to the side and began trying to support herself and stand. Still in the shower, Sebastien had no idea what was going on. In the bedroom, Dori lost her balance and fell to the floor hitting her head on the nightstand and began to bleed. She was did not pass out, but suffered a terrible cut on her head and could not move. She laid there bleeding till Sebastien found her.

“Dori what have you been trying to do?” Sebastien yelled as he saw her lying on the floor in the puddle of blood.

Dori could not speak through the tears. She had cried and prayed that he would find her. Sebastien called down to the desk and ask for a doctor to come right away.

The manager told him they would send someone up right away. Sebastien carefully picked her up and place her back in the bed, put the covers over her and placed a washcloth over the cut to help stop the bleeding or at least slow it down. He dressed quickly so he would be able to answer the door when the doctor came. He went back to Dori and made sure she was still awake. He spoke to her gently and had her talk to him.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 33   Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:35 pm

“Dori what were you trying to do getting out of bed without me here?” Sebastien stayed calm for her sake but he was scared that the fall could hurt Dori and the baby. He couldn’t let her see the feelings going on in side of him.

“I’m sorry Sebastien but I couldn’t find you and I called for you. There was no answer and for a moment I thought you had left me again.” Dori was still crying hard. She could only get the words out through the tears.

“Mon Cherie, I have told you over and over, we will never be apart again. You have to start believing me. You and the baby could have been hurt very badly.” Sebastien was not angry. He understood what she was afraid of and tried to reassure her.

There was a knock on the door and Sebastien left Dori to answer it. It was the house Doctor and Sebastien let him in and showed him to the bedroom where Dori was. He checked her out from top to bottom and bandaged the cut on her head.
“She was lucky; it could have been worse.” The doctor made her promise no more stunts like that. “You need Sebastien’s help and you will take it. No more trying to do things on your own just yet.”

Dori shook her head yes. She laid back and closed her eyes while Sebastien showed the doctor out. But before the doctor left Sebastien had a question for the doctor, “She is pregnant doctor. Will the baby and Dori be alright?” He had to know if the fall had hurt either or both of them.

“I am sure they are both fine. I have her doctor’s number over in Hendersonville and will call him to let him know. I suggest he see her as soon as you return to town. Here are some things to look for with a head injury. If you see any of these happen, call an ambulance or get her to a hospital immediately.” Then the doctor left. Sebastien locked the door behind him and returned to Dori who seemed to be asleep but wasn’t. Sebastien had only wanted to give her a beautiful time at the inn and now she is hurt again. He really didn’t know how to tell her how sorry he was that she had fallen trying to find him.

“Dori, this is my fault. I should have awakened you and told you where I was. I am so very sorry Mon Cherie.” Sebastien had tears running down his cheeks. Dori could not blame him for her stupid mistake and she told him it wasn’t his fault, kissing his cheeks.

The rest of the afternoon found Dori sleeping off and on. Sebastien called David and told him of the accident. David wanted him to bring her home, but Sebastien didn’t want to take her back just yet. They had one more day there and he wanted that time alone; more than ever now, he needed that time with her.

Sebastien napped next to Dori a while, When he wasn’t sleeping, he sat and read his emails, answering the one from Carlos about the song selections for the new album. The one from Urs would have to wait. He didn’t want to tell him anything by email; he would call Urs later from the farm. He would not let her out of his sight again. Standing to stretch, he touched the white roses still in the vase on the dresser, thinking how both Dori and the roses were soft and fragile. He couldn’t take care of the flowers, but he would take care of Dori. When Dori finally woke up, he checked the things from the doctors list to be sure she had none of the symptoms listed. Finally satisfied she didn’t have a concussion from the fall, Sebastien ordered dinner for the two of them. He knew she would be hungry as she had not eaten all day. He wanted her to eat for her and the baby.

After Dinner, he helped her up and took her to the living room area. They sat on the couch and watched the fire Sebastien had started. They were happy in each other’s arms as the night flew by. Dori wasn’t ready to move yet, she just wanted to be there and watch him in the firelight. She loved to see the glow on his face and the reflection of soft light in his eyes. As midnight came, she was yawning as was Sebastien. They made their plans. Tomorrow they would take a walk around the Hotel, get some fresh air and see the sights before leaving for the farm. When they finally made it to bed, it was a very short time before they fell asleep in each other’s arms after kissing good night. They both dreamed of the wonderful life they had before them.

Morning came and Sebastien was the first to wake up. He knew he couldn’t leave her side after what had happen yesterday. He couldn’t risk leaving her alone for even a minute without telling her where he was. He lay beside her, watching as she slept. Once again, he saw the beautiful angel he had fallen in love with just a few months ago and almost lost. Tears fell from his eyes from the memories of the time in the hospital that was still very painful; not knowing if she and the baby would be okay. Sebastien was a proud man and didn’t want to complain. He tried to carry things to close to his heart and that made him sad. He was concerned for Dori and the baby and didn’t want to upset Dori talking about it. So, he held it inside until he could reach out to his best friend Urs.

Dori turned and reached for him. He held her close as she woke up to a beautiful day. She gave him a wonderful kiss Good morning and he returned it softly. They ordered Breakfast with coffee and Juice and Milk for her. This morning, Dori was hungry and it made Sebastien feel good when she ate everything he had ordered for her and taken her prenatal vitamins. They got up and he helped her with her shower. They got dressed and he placed her in the wheel chair. Soon they were down in the lobby. They went for a walk around the hotel, looked off into the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Castle Biltmore. One day they will come back to visit and take the tour of the place, but not today. It was time to get ready for the trip back to the farm.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 34   Mon Dec 29, 2008 4:59 pm

The Limo driver arrived at the front door of the Inn, loaded up the bags and Dori’s wheel chair. As she stood with a cane outside of the limo door waiting, Sebastien was paying the bill inside. When he came out of the Inn, he was surprised to see her standing there waiting on him. All he could do was smile at her. He knew now she wanted her Independence; needed it as he needed her to have it. She was a free spirit and he couldn’t bear to see her unable to do the things she wanted to without help, if at all. He was determined to make sure she would do those things again and so much more.

He helped her into the limo and sat down beside her, taking her hand in his and giving her a kiss on the cheek. The ride back to the farm was a short one. Everyone was happy to see them home again. David had been worried, along with Siobhan all night. Now seeing them happy and safe, they all could relax and enjoy the rest of the day together. Sebastien helped her to the room, supporting her, while she used the cane and not the wheel chair. She was more than ready to get back on track with her life. She had never felt more complete than with Sebastien at her side. Sebastien took time out from Dori to call the doctor to discuss the fall and see if they could get an appointment to have her checked out, just to be sure the baby was okay. They set up the appointment for the next morning. They would also do an ultrasound on Dori to check on the baby. That evening, Dori and Sebastien joined everyone on the porch just looking at the mountains and talking. She began to feel like she was home again, as a wave of simple contentment had blanketed her tonight, making her feel warm and safe with the love of her life at her side.

Cyd was the one who had good news. She had spoken to Carlos and he was coming back to pick her up and take her to Mexico on a long weekend Holiday before heading back to London.; then, onto Spain for the wedding.

Siobhan had spoken to Urs and he would be meeting her in Pennsylvania. He had a surprise for her and would explain when she arrived. Urs asked Siobhan to have Sebastien give him ring him when they got back to the farm. He had sent him an email and was waiting on a reply. Sebastien told Siobhan he needed to talk to Urs about something, so he would call him later. Sebastien was happy that Dori was enjoying the out doors again, as he held her close and wrapped his arms around her.

As the hours on the porch passed, everyone headed up to bed except Sebastien and Dori. They sat next to each other, holding hands and talking about the appointment the next day and seeing the baby. They were both very excited about seeing the baby and hoping to see if it was a girl or boy, if they could tell at all.

Sebastien took Dori up to the bedroom and helped her get undressed and into bed. Then, he left her to rest while he called Urs back to find out what he wanted to talk to him about.

Urs picked up the phone on the second ring and said “Hello”

“Hello Urs,it's Sebastien. Siobhan said you wanted me to call you?”

“Yes, Sebastien I wanted to first know how Dori is doing? Siobhan has told me she fell and hurt her head. Is she alright?” Urs wanted to hear it from him.

“Yes Urs, she is fine. We will see the Doctor again tomorrow to make sure she and the baby are fine. Is that all you needed? I wanted to talk to you about Dori.” Sebastien tried to explain to Urs how concerned he was over Dori’s reaction of him leaving her just to take a shower; how she fell and how upset she was when she couldn’t find him for just a minute.

“Sebastien, you should understand how Dori feels. She has just come out of a coma and doesn’t remember how she got there; now finding out about the baby on top of that. She is still recovering from the accident and learning to use her legs and with one arm in a cast that can’t be easy. I would expect her to panic at some time my friend. You have to support her Sebastien, be there for her and the baby. You should know that we are all here for both… all of you. If you need me I will be there.” Urs was sorry he and Carlos couldn’t be there for them at that time. He wanted Sebastien to know if he needed him, they would put the work on the CD on hold and come back.

Sebastien needed his friend, but needed to handle things there for the sake of the group. The work had to go on. The music had to come whether he wanted it to or not. He knew without the music and the group, he wouldn’t be able to support her and the baby the way he wanted to. It tugged at the corners of his heart and mind like a stanza of a distant melody that he couldn’t seem to hear the lyrics of. “No Urs, thank you, I will be fine. Dori and I are working on this and I think we will be fine as long as we support each other.” Sebastien was as much trying to reassure himself as Urs.

“All right, then I will be in touch after I return from my surprise for Siobhan”. URS didn’t explain but Sebastien didn’t ask either.

Sebastien hung up and got ready for bed. Dori was already sleeping or so he thought. He climbed into the bed next to her and wrapped his arms around her. She moved in closer to him and turned to face him and began kissing him with a great passion. They ended up making love that night and fell asleep in each others arms.

The next morning they were up very early. Sebastien had helped her with her shower. While she rested a bit, he took a shower as well, keeping the bathroom door open a crack in case she needed anything. He helped her dress and then he dressed. They went to breakfast together.

The doctor’s appointment was in Hendersonville. David and Suzie needed to go to town, so they drove them to the doctor’s office. David and Suzie would run some errands while they were at their appointment and for the tests. Sebastien and Dori were on time at the doctor’s office. Dori and Sebastien were led back to the room for the ultrasound. They were both very excited to see the baby today and hear the heart beat. As the nurse prepared the area on Dori’s belly, Sebastien sat in the chair next to her, holding her left hand.

The nurse began looking at the baby in silence, took some measurements and pictures. As she was looking around, she noticed a strange shadow in the picture as well as on the screen. She couldn’t make out what was causing the shadow at first. She got up, left the room and came back with the doctor. He began doing the same thing the nurse did, trying to see the shadow behind the baby and determine what it was. Dori gripped Sebastien’s hand tighter, trying to stay calm. She wasn’t prepared for any more bad news, nor was Sebastien. She tried to read the doctor’s face, but couldn’t tell what he was thinking or doing. Sebastien’s eyes moved from the screen to Dori and back again.

After a few minutes, the baby had moved into a different position. Now they all could see another little baby behind the first and knew then that they were having twins. They asked the doctor if he could tell what sex the babies were. Still scanning and watching the screen closely, he said, “They are both…. girls.” Tears fell from Sebastien’s eyes as well as Dori’s… they were having twin girls.

Sebastien leaned over and gave Dori a big kiss and said, “I love you Dori and our daughters.” They would now have to name the girls and that would be on the agenda next.

The doctor saw no cause for alarm with the babies. Their heartbeats were perfect and they were growing normally. He told Dori to take it a little slower, continue to take her vitamins, eat healthy and she would be fine. He told her she would also be coming back in a week to have her cast removed. The nurse took a new picture of the twin babies together as well as one of each of them, putting a copy in the file and handing the others to Dori and Sebastien.

Dori and Sebastien were so very excited to hear the news about the babies. They couldn’t wait to tell the others and show them the ultrasound pictures. To think, they would have 2 little girls. Dori hoped they would look like Sebastien. David and Suzie met them back at the doctor’s office to takethem home. They could tell something was up. Dori had decided she wanted to wait until all of them were together to tell them the news.

The ride home to the farm was quiet. Sebastien and Dori whispered to each other in the back seat all the way home. David and Suzie were left wondering what was going on but were afraid to ask.

When they arrived at the farm, Dori went to the bedroom with Sebastien and closed the Door. They sat on the bed and tried to think of another name to match the one they already had if the baby had been a girl. Alexandra Natalia Izambard was the first name and now they needed another. They needed a name to sort of match the other, so they came up with Yannic Izambard.

So they now had the girls names pick out and wanted to share the news with their friends. After they changed into some more comfortable clothes, Sebastien walked Dori to the porch to sit in the afternoon air. Once she was comfortable, he rounded everyone up and asked them to come be with him and Dori on the porch.

As they all gather around Sebastien and Dori, David asked, “What was going on?”

“Okay, at the doctor’s office, the ultrasound showed something strange.” Sebastien began, trying to hold back a smile.

‘What do you mean by strange Sebastien?” David looked worried at Suzie and then over to Dori who was smiling. “Is there something gone wrong with the baby Sebastien... just tell us?” David was impatient and wanted answers now.

“No the babies are fine.” Sebastien stated, still trying to contain himself, as he sat down on the top of the porch railing, glancing over at Dori with a wink.
Dori looked at him and kept right on smiling. She had heard what he said and watched as the others caught on… that is all but David.

“Well what are you and Dori smiling……….Hey, wait a minute, did you say Babies… as in, More than One?” David said stunned as his glance moved from Sebastien to Dori and back again.

“Yes David I did. There are two babies…. Twins… And they are both girls.” Sebastien was beaming with joy and pride.

Everyone was happy for them so it seemed, except Cyd. She just smiled her smile and didn’t let on that something was wrong. She hadn’t told anyone yet, but she too was expecting a baby in about 8 months. She wanted to be with Carlos when she told him. Cyd was happy for Dori and Sebastien; she just missed Carlos so much. She really needed to be back with him soon. She didn’t know how much longer she could keep it inside as she wanted him to be the first to know. Telling him over the phone wasn’t the way she wanted to tell him. Cyd was involved with her thoughts when David walked up and touched her shoulder saying, “Are you still missing him Cyd?”

She looked up at David and nodded yes, with tears streaming down her cheeks. David bent down and gave her a hug and held her for a few minutes. Then so did Sebastien. They knew she missed him and needed to get back to London soon. The guys left the ladies to talk about the babies. Dori would give them the names they had chosen for each girl. Cyd still was longing to be home with Carlos, but for now it was Dori’s news that all were excited about. Soon it would be her and Carlos’ turn to announce that she too was expecting to the group.

Cyd was very happy for Dori after everything she had been through. She deserved to finally have some peace and be happy again like she was in London. Going back to London was something Dori was looking forward to as was Sebastien. After Dori told the girls the names they had picked out, she told them her cast was to be removed in a week. She was glad that would be over for her and could really focus on her therapy for the weddings. Dori still had a ways to go to fully recover but with the babies and Sebastien’s love she would be just fine.

Carlos was thinking of Cyd in London and wanted to be with her. He made some calls and arranged to fly back to the states and sweep Cyd off her feet one more time before the fast approaching wedding. He planned to take her to Mexico and have a couple of days relaxing with his future wife. He called later to tell her that he was coming. Cyd’s tears were just flowing as he told her he loved her and missed her so very much. They talked for about 2 hours; all the while, in the back of her mind was the baby and how to tell him about this. Cyd was happy after she hung up that he would be coming to take her away for a short trip. They would have some time to be alone and she would give him the good news.

Siobhan came to Cyd’s door and knocked. When Cyd opened it, Siobhan saw the tears in her eyes and wanted to know why she was crying. She told her she had just gotten off the phone with Carlos and he is taking her away for a couple of days to Mexico. Siobhan smiled and gave her a big hug. Cyd wanted to tell Siobhan the news in private, but she had to wait till she told Carlos first. He was the one she wanted to share the news with first and foremost. When Siobhan left, Cyd closed the door behind her and returned to her empty bed. She wrapped the blanket tightly around her shoulders and hugged the pillow close in her arms; wishing it was Carlos and not a lifeless pillow and blanket as tears slid silently down her cheeks. Her mind wandered, trying to find the right words to tell him that their love had created a new life. Soon, she fell asleep dreaming of her, Carlos and their baby as she rested her hand lightly on her belly.

That night, Siobhan called Urs in London to give him the good news about Dori and the Babies. He wanted to know how Sebastien was taking it and she told him that he was on cloud nine. Urs was happy for them and glad that Dori was getting her cast of soon. That meant he could once again have his Siobhan home with him. His arms ached to hold her once again; look into her eyes and show her how much he loved her. He told her that he was making plans to meet her in Pennsylvania for a surprise. They would meet up with all the others at the farm a few days later. Once he had finalized all of the arrangements, he would call her with instructions and just a few of the details including where to meet him within the week. They chatted about other things briefly before sending their love to each other and saying good night before hanging up.

Siobhan and Cyd would soon be leaving the farm for adventures with the men that they loved.

Preparing for the Get aways

Cyd had heard from Carlos and was making plans to fly off on adventure getaway to Mexico. Siobhan had heard from Urs and was making arrangements to fly off to PA to meet him where he had arranged a surprise for her. David was busying making plans of his own - a private getaway for he and Suzie. He was taking her to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Devil’s Courthouse. They would stay a couple of days and enjoy the sights as well. David also planned to ask Suzie to marry him there, on the top of the Courthouse Rock.

Dori and Sebastien would be staying behind as Dori was still working on her therapy. She was ready for her cast to come off soon. She was also ready to spend more time alone with Sebastien. She wanted to return to having a normal evening and do things for herself.

Dori wasn’t use to people taking care of her and doing her duties for her. She really was an independent woman in many ways. She really liked being able to care for herself and the babies; not have Sebastien doing everything for her. She concentrated on the therapy so that when the cast came off, she hoped to be able to take back some of her independence. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy Sebastien’s company or the attention he gave her; she loved him. She just needed to do something for herself, by herself.

In 24 hours, Cyd would drive Siobhan to the airport and pick up Carlos, who would arrive from London shortly after Siobhan’s flight was taking off. The couple would stay at the farm overnight before departing on the journey for the romantic getaway Carlos had promised Cyd. Cyd was very excited about getting away, but most of all, being reunited with the love of her life. Carlos had always made Cyd’s life exciting, amazing and wonderful. She hoped her news would do the same for him.

Siobhan was busy packing the small bag she would carry on the plane. Urs told her not to bring a lot of things with her. What they needed, they could buy along the way. She wasn’t sure what that meant, but she trusted him. He knew what to do, so she did not question him. As she tucked a book in the front compartment of her carry-on, she too was very excited for the chance to be reunited t with the man she adored.

David and Suzie would not leave for a few more days. They wanted to get the farm settled before they left. Walter had been injured in the same accident that Dori had, so they had handled everything with his advice and guidance. Now for them to go out of town, they needed him to be in charge and not have Dori worrying about it without overtaxing Sebastien.

That evening, they all came together on the porch for one more night. They were family; knowing the next time they would be back together again, it would be in London in a few weeks. Sebastien sat on the couch holding Dori in his arms and rubbing her stomach. He was humming a song in French to their babies. She enjoyed watching Sebastien; he seemed to be in heaven. Like Siobhan and Cyd with Urs and Carlos, she loved him so much, it took her breath away. Siobhan watched Sebastien, as did most of the group. Her mind drifted back to the night they arrived at the hospital, not knowing if Dori would live… not knowing about the babies and how far they had all come since that long, dark night. It seemed like another life time ago. The time for quiet reflection was now. Soon the wedding of Carlos and Cyd would be in Spain. There would be so much going on that they would not have time to reflect again for a while. David sat next to Suzie holding her hand, listening to the simple melody... a reflection of the peaceful quiet life in the mountains he had started to associate with the farm. Cyd glanced toward the couples, seeing the contentment around her, wrapping it around her as she knew Carlos would if he were there. As the sun tucked itself in the distant valley beyond Dori’s beautiful mountains to end the day, there was a peace that gently hugged them in the farmhouse that night.

The next morning, David handed the keys to Siobhan as Cyd finished checking on the alpaca’s in the barn. He hugged her close before stepping outside to meet Walter, hoping he would also be able to spend a moment with Cyd as well. He knew she would be excited to see Carlos at the airport and wanted to make sure she was comfortable getting there and back. He caught up with Cyd as she was closing the door to the barn. He smiled, feeling the excitement from Cyd that bubbled just under the surface. He could also see that there was something on her mind. He had always been the big brother. This time would be no different. He opened his arms and hugged her close, whispering “I know that Carlos would be doing this now if he were here. He’ll be here soon Cyd.“

Cyd smiled and hugged him back. “I know Carlito is close David. I can already feel him near me.” As she stepped back, she saw the look in his face. “What’s the matter David? Is something wrong?”

“No, Cyd. Everything is fine. I just wanted to be sure you were okay with getting back and forth from the airport. If you aren’t, I can spare Walter this morning…. If you… ummm need someone.” David said shyly. “I know how long you and Carlos have been apart and I just figured you would prefer some privacy. I mean… it’s not a long trip, but… well… you know.” He looked away blushing.

Cyd blushed as well before telling him they would be fine. She stepped away, waving to him as he said, “Well, Siobhan has the keys… there’s a full tank of gas… you have your cell phone right?” Cyd nodded, walking away from him.

Siobhan had already put her small bag into the car and was looking around for Cyd. Dori and Sebastien stood on the porch looking in the opposite direction when Cyd came up to them. Both of them hugged Dori and Sebastien before getting into the car. As Siobhan rolled down the window to wave good-bye, Cyd started the car.

Sebastien waved back, blowing his signature kiss saying, “Each of you has your cell phone, right? Don’t hesitate to call if you need anything.... you have the number here right? Cyd drive safe… and be careful. Siobhan, have a fantastic time… we’ll see you someday… somewhere... well, you know the song.” Dori nudged him, laughing. Siobhan and Cyd looked at each other and waved again before Cyd started to drive off.

The trip to the airport didn’t take as long as Cyd thought because she was used to a lot more traffic. Soon, they were parked in the short term parking lot. Cyd jotted down the lot and space number on the back of the directions David had printed for her and tucked it back into her purse. Siobhan pulled her bag out of the back seat and pulled out her e-ticket for her flight. They walked into the terminal together. As they rounded the corner, they found the flight schedules and headed toward the gate for Siobhan’s flight.

Siobhan giggled, remembering the time Urs had trouble getting through the metal detectors at one of the airports because of the large belt buckle on his favorite belt. Since then, he never wore it with his jeans until he was well away from the airport. Both Siobhan and Cyd made it though the first security checkpoint with no problems. A few minutes later, they were near the gate for Siobhan’s flight. Cyd could not go with her any further.

As Siobhan hugged Cyd, she asked “Cyd are you okay?”

Cyd nodded, smiling. “We’ll talk later, after both of us gets back. I promise. Now, have a great time with the SRG. Tell him I said hi and we’ll see each other soon… some day, somewhere… like Sebastien said.” Siobhan, touched her cheek and smiled.

“Okay Cyd… take care yourself. Tell Carlos and Fernando I said hi and will see you soon as well.” With that, Siobhan stepped through the gate, handed over her ticket and disappeared through the doorway.
As Cyd walked to the window, she heard a familiar voice saying,” Excuse me, but I must say, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my entire life.”

“Carlos!”She whispered, turning around suddenly as he opened his arms and hugged her close. She kissed him deeply and she held him tight.

“Yes, my Princess. I was able to get an earlier flight. I wanted to surprise you and I couldn’t wait another minute…” He said, breathlessly.

Cyd and Carlos talked the entire trip back to the farm. That evening, Sebastien, Dori, David, Suzie, Carlos and Cyd had a quiet dinner. They wanted to give Carlos and Cyd some time alone, despite their get away weekend. In the morning, David drove them to the airport and stayed to watch their plane take off. He smiled as the plane disappeared into the clouds. He had forgotten to tell them to have a good time and call if they needed anything.

Cyd’s Get away with Carlos

Cyd and Carlos sat side by side with Cyd enjoying the view by the window of the airplane. Both of them enjoyed flying, but Carlos insisted she have the window seat to see the beach as they landed in sunny, tropical Acapulco, Mexico. Carlos had already arranged for a limo to meet them at the airport to take them to their exclusive hotel on the beach. Cyd was very happy to have Carlos close to her again. She was looking forward to their time together and the beach. After landing and going through Customs, Carlos spotted the limo driver. Soon, they were on their way to the hotel. As Cyd and Carlos stepped out of the limo at the hotel, Cyd could feel the warm breeze on her cheeks and catch a glimpse of the beach line beyond. She hugged Carlos with glee as he paid the limo driver and sent him on his way. They checked in and the bellman helped them take their luggage to their suite. As they neared their room, Carlos looked at Cyd and smiled, picking her up in his arms. The bellman opened the suite door and Carlos carried Cyd into the main room.

"Carlos, it's so beautiful here." she smiled.

"Yes but you are more beautiful." he told her.

As Cyd looked around the vast suite, she noticed the flowers in the room as well as the view of the beach beyond. It was the first time she had taken her eyes off Carlos since they landed at the airport. He gently laid her on the king-sized bed, kissing her deeply. A few minutes later, he was taking care of the waiting bellman and closed the door behind him. Cyd had taken a moment to glance out at the beach again before she turned to see him as the room door clicked shut. Opening her arms to reach for him, Carlos sensed something was on her mind. He hoped it was just their time apart and their wedding coming up. Carlos eagerly returns to Cyd’s waiting arms and kisses her once again. Within minutes, they are in the throes of passion and being reunited, as they make love in their vacation paradise.

After a short nap, they take a shower and have a quiet dinner on the balcony of their suite. Carlos can still see Cyd has something on her mind, but hasn’t pushed her to tell him yet. After finishing, Cyd suggests they go down to the beach to watch the sunset. Carlos agrees, thinking it would be very romantic. They made their way down the stairs, passing the pool and onto the sandy beach beyond, where the waves are gently lapping the shoreline. Keeping the hotel outline in view, they find a cozy place on the beach to snuggle as the sun starts to set.

As the sun touches the horizon, Cyd takes a deep breath and looks deeply into Carlos’ honey brown eyes. She kisses him warmly and asks "How do you feel about babies?"

"Babies...I love babies…I want to..." he paused then looks deep into her green eyes.

Taking his hand gently in hers, she kisses the palm of his hand softly, rests it gingerly on her belly and looks deep into his eyes as a tear rolls down her cheek. Carlos looks from her face to his hand and back before he smiles and asks her if she’s sure. She nods and replies "We're having a mini Marin." she smiled.

"Querida, that is the best news I have heard." he smiled.

For Cyd and Carlos, the rest of the evening seemed a blur as they returned to their suite and talked about the new baby coming and when they would tell the rest of the group. Carlos wanted to make sure Cyd would have time to set up her prenatal care before the wedding and Cyd agreed. She had already made the call before they left for Mexico. Soon, they were asleep, snuggled in each others arms with Cyd’s fingers entwined with Carlos’ as his hand rested lightly on her belly in a family hug.

The next morning, Carlos and Cyd awoke to the sun shining softly over the ocean waves. They snuggled lazily in each others arms before taking a shower and getting dressed. Carlos had told Cyd he had arranged a special surprise for her, but nothing as exciting as her surprise last night. He didn’t tell her what it was, but asked her to pack a change of clothes and her swimsuit as they would be gone most of the day. After a quiet breakfast that Cyd had prepared in the kitchenette, they headed back to the airport for a short plane ride across Mexico to Cancun, followed by a short ride to the pier. At the pier, they boarded a boat that was sailing to Isla Mujeres (The Island of Women). The boat ride was less than an hour and Cyd was enjoying seeing the waves and the dolphins swimming near them. She had always wanted to touch one, but had never had the chance. Carlos was about to change that. The boat anchored on the pier of a small island and Carlos and Cyd stepped off the boat and onto the pier. Cyd still couldn’t tell where they were or what the surprise was.

A short walk along the edge of the island gave Cyd her first clue about the surprise when she saw a sign that said “Dolphin Discovery.” She looked at Carlos and grinned questioningly as he smiled back and lightly kissed her forehead. Within the hour, they had showered at the site, changed into their swimsuits and had their lifejackets on. The trainers had already given them the session about dolphins, their safety and had asked that no one put on any sunscreen or lotions before or while they were in or near the water as it is harmful to the animals. Cyd was very excited now as she saw the pair of dolphins she, Carlos and another couple would be with for an hour. As the group stepped on the platform, the dolphins, Athena and Apollo came out of the water to greet them. Cyd’s eyes widened with glee as her hand lightly touched Apollo’s velvety soft skin. She was surprised it didn’t feel rubbery, but fuzzy like a stuffed animal. Each of the group had a chance to touch and feed the dolphins as well as see them perform behaviors in the water. Half way through their time with the dolphins, the whole group was in the water with them.

The dolphins happily swim around each one, occasionally jumping over their human friends and splashing them as the photographer stayed on the pier taking pictures and video as part of their dolphin encounter. Soon, they were back on the platform and waving farewell to Apollo and Athena and walking up the ladder to the pier. They chatted awhile with the trainers and the other couple before heading back to the locker rooms to shower and change clothes again. Before they left the Dolphin Discovery area, they stopped in the gift shop and picked up their pictures and video from their encounter before returning to the boat that would take them back to Cancun.

As Carlos wasn’t sure how long the encounter would take when he made the arrangements, there were still a few hours left before their trip back to Acapulco. They had a light lunch and strolled along the Cancun beaches, checking out the small shops and street vendors wares before they returned to the airport. The plane ride back was quiet for both of them. Later that evening, after having dinner poolside, they watched the sun setting again. Carlos gathered Cyd in his arms and kisses her whispering that the sunsets are now very special to him. Each one will always remind him of when he found out he was going to be a father. They return to the room and have a romantic evening filled with soft music as they slow dance on the balcony under the soft, warm glow of a full moon over the ocean beyond.

The next morning they decided to stay in the room as Carlos wanted Cyd to rest and relax before they returned to tell the group the news before they returned to London. They spent the morning in bed, snuggling and making love. As the afternoon approached, they made full use of the Jacuzzi in the master bathroom. Carlos made sure the water wasn’t too hot before he let Cyd get into it. His paternal instincts were starting to show and Cyd smiled at the thought of both of them being parents. The evening was spent quietly walking around the grounds of the hotel and visiting the lounge to listen to a local band playing. Both Cyd and Carlos were content and relaxed that evening as headed back to their room for their final night in Mexico.

Carlos set the alarm for the first time during their visit to make sure they would be awake in time to watch the sunrise as they walked along the beach before their flight back. He kissed Cyd deeply as she ran her hands up his muscular arms before entwining them together behind his neck in a tight hug, kissing him back before heading to bed. He dimmed the lights before getting under the covers and pulling Cyd close to him.

He let his hand slide slowly to her belly before he whispered, “Hola mi pequeño bebé…Papá te Ama.” (Hello my little baby…Daddy loves you.). Cyd smiled and rested her hand on top of his, rubbing it lightly. She wondered when she would be able to feel the baby moving inside her and couldn’t wait to ask Dori if and when she felt her babies inside of her as well. Soon, they drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, they awoke to the blaring alarm on the nightstand beside the bed. They ate a hearty breakfast before heading to the beach to watch the sun rise. As the sun awoke and made it slow, steady rise in the horizon, Carlos and Cyd held each other close as their cheeks touched. The morning array of reds and oranges filled the sky as the rays stretched as far as they could see. It gave Cyd a sense of a new beginning like the new life growing inside of her. She whispered to Carlos that he may have the sun sets as his reminder of becoming a father, but the sunrise would be special for her as each one would be there to remind her of the beginning of their new child’s life.

Siobhan’s Getaway with Urs

Siobhan’s flight to Pennsylvania was uneventful, but long. The two hours it took to get there seemed to drag on as though it were an overseas flight. He would be waiting for her at the gate, from what he had told her last night. As she looked out the window one last time, she could finally see the outline of the city with the ocean beyond. As the pilot announced they would be landing in Philadelphia Pennsylvania shortly, Siobhan tucked her book into her carry-on, eager to get off the plane and back into his arms once again. She had taken a seat near the front of the plane to make a quick exit. Soon, they were taxiing up to the gate. She caught a glimpse of someone standing at the window but couldn’t tell if it was him or not. She smiled hoping it was him. Within a few minutes she was walking down the ramp and scanning the crowd. It only took her a few seconds to see him leaning against the wall, away from the crowd. He had his sunglasses on the top of his head in usual Urs fashion as well as the signature leather jacket and jeans. He had been watching from the window at first, but had moved from the crowd. He wanted to focus on Siobhan totally. He had missed her as much as she had missed him. He couldn’t wait to spring his surprise, but he reminded himself that he had to be patient. He had done his research well, thanks to a message in the forum from a fan and was prepared. Now, he just wanted to hold her again, kiss her, and love her.

Siobhan weaved her way through the crowd as Urs stepped forward, opening his arms to greet her. Holding her close, he kissed her deeply. Siobhan let her arms sneak under his jacket and around his slim waist to hold him close, savoring every tingle that ran through her as she rested her forehead against his neck and sighed. He deftly moved her carry-on from her shoulder to his and hugged her tightly again. A few minutes later, they were walking out of the airport and into the parking lot. Urs pointed to the shiny red BMW Roadster rental car and smiled, hoping Siobhan would approve. Siobhan smiled, nodded and hugged him close. He still hadn’t told her what the surprise would be and she thought this could be her first clue. He put her carry-on in the trunk and closed the lid before she could see what else he had placed in there. Urs pulled an index card out of his jacket pocket and glanced at it briefly before tucking it back out of sight. Soon they were on RT 222 South headed to RT 30 West. Traffic was light that sunny day. Siobhan held Urs hand the entire trip as they chatted. Within the hour, Siobhan could see the signs for Lancaster followed by York. She still hadn’t figured out where they were going yet. Urs refused to give her another hint but told her she would be seeing it soon.

Less than an hour later, Urs asked Siobhan to close her eyes and not open them until he told her to. She closed her eyes as he asked, still not knowing what he had planned. He slowed the car and Siobhan could feel the sharp right turn followed by a left. As soon as Urs stopped the car in a parking space, he reached over to Siobhan and pulled her close, kissing her deeply. He softly whispered, “We’re here my love. I hope you enjoy our afternoon together. I love you so much and missed you more than I can ever say… Open your eyes now and look at me.” Siobhan’s hand lightly touched his face as she slowly opened her eyes, looking deeply into his. “I know you’ve wanted one for a long time… and I wanted you to choose your very own…” as he pointed to the large sign above them that said “Harley-Davidson”. Siobhan blinked several times before it registered in her mind.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 39   Mon Dec 29, 2008 5:23 pm

“This is the surprise, Urs…my own Harley? … Oh my goodness…” and she kissed him deeply, rocking him gently in her arms.

“The bike is just the beginning, my love. It’s just the first of many in our life together…. a new bike for you that no one has ever ridden or changed from when it was made. I wanted to build one for you myself, but I ran out of time… I didn’t want you to be disappointed by not having one of your own. Is that okay? I will build one for you… for us later, but for now, will this do?”
“Urs, I love you so much… yes… you didn’t have to do this, but thank you. Just being with you is more than enough… I so missed those dimples… your smile… well, all of you…“

They got out of the car and walked toward the entrance doors. Their tour was a private one, away from the public one. A few hours later, they were taken to the back of the plant to see the final products as they came off the line. Siobhan never realized how many different models there were. It would be a hard choice. After a bit, they decided on a red FLHTC touring motorcycle, very similar to the one Urs had used while touring. Having done that, they were directed to Laugerman’s Harley-Davidson Sales down the street to complete their purchase. They ran back to the car eagerly. At Laugerman’s, Urs and Siobhan completed the paperwork and purchased some accessories for Siobhan. Urs handed the ignition key to Siobhan with a smile. Taking a deep breath, she took the shiny new key on the key ring into her hands. She had wanted a Harley for years and now that dream had come true. Urs handed her a helmet and helped her secure the straps, standing back with a smile.

“Something’s still missing. What could it be? Maybe I should see you standing beside the bike, or sitting on the bike to get a better idea. What do you think?” Siobhan looked at her reflection in the mirror at the store, then back at Urs. She could tell he was still up to something, but she couldn’t figure out what ‘it’ was. The bike had just been brought out to the front parking lot of the store and was parked close to the Roadster. Urs and Siobhan picked up the rest of their bags and headed to the parking lot. Siobhan dutifully stood by the new motorcycle as Urs looked at her from different angles, as he tried to keep the smile off of his face. “No, there’s definitely something missing… what is it? Siobhan, try sitting on the bike… maybe that will help.” As soon as Siobhan turned her back to sit on the bike, Urs popped the trunk to the Roadster and grabbed the large box he had hidden in there. As Siobhan turned back to look at him, he smiled, hiding the box from view. “You look great on that bike my love, like it was made for you. But…. hmmm there is still something… just not right… oh… I know now… maybe…. this …” as he handed her the large box.

Siobhan’s eyes widened as the large box came into view. Urs was laughing lightly. He loved to surprise her. As she took the box from his hands, he hugged her close. She tried to open the box while sitting on the motorcycle, which was too difficult. Urs laughed again before helping her off of it. She opened the box and gasped, ”Urs, darling… Oh my… a black leather jacket… and the sun glasses too. This is just too much. Thank you.”

He helped her put on the jacket and handed her the sun glasses before stepping back. “Yes, that’s just what was needed. It’s perfect now. Let’s drop off the rental car up the street and we’ll be on our way to the next stop.”

“Next… stop?” Siobhan repeated.

But Urs would tell her no more. He just smiled and got into the Roadster saying, “Follow me…” They turned in the Roadster at Enterprise a few blocks down the street. Siobhan was still getting used to the idea of having her own Harley. He turned in the rental car as Siobhan waited outside, looking at her new bike and putting the bags in the compartments. As soon as Urs returned, he smiled again, “Ready my love?”

“Where are we going?” Siobhan asked, as Urs pulled out another card and scanned it quickly.

“If you don’t mind, I’ll drive and you’ll see soon enough.” He answered, still smiling. She slid back the seat and Urs climbed on, strapping his helmet on as he did so. “Hang on; we’re in for a ride.” Soon, they were on the interstate headed north. Hershey Park signs loomed ahead. “Please don’t tell me we’re going to an amusement park…” She thought to herself. He passed the Park entrance and followed the signs to Hershey Hotel. There, he parked the motorcycle.

“We’re here for the night Siobhan… a little dinner and a treat for you. I’ll have my treat later...” And he kissed her deeply”...or maybe now…”

“Urs, I missed you so much.” Siobhan said as she kissed him. “You’ve done so much already. Now, how can I thank you?”

They checked in at the hotel and strolled to their room. Once they were behind closed doors, Urs took Siobhan into his arms and kissed her, keeping her close. She held him close as well, wrapping her arms around him and lacing her fingers behind his back. “So, as I was saying, how can I thank you? Siobhan was able to whisper softly, looking into his eyes.

“I’ll think of something. In the mean time, you must be tired and hungry. Would you like to rest a bit, have another surprise, or have dinner next?” He let his fingers lightly caress her cheek before he kissed her.

“I have everything I need right here in my arms…” She whispered “at least for the moment. Dinner would be nice, but later. I don’t know if I can handle another surprise just yet.” They snuggled for a while, but Siobhan could tell he was eager to continue with his surprise. “Ok, how about dinner first, then we’ll see about the surprise?” As she leaned against his chest and breathed deeply, content to be in his arms again.

They had a quiet dinner at the hotel. As they finished, Urs took her hand in his and smiled. “I’m going to go to the gym a bit while you have your next surprise. I’ll take you there and meet you after we’re both finished.”

Siobhan nodded quietly, letting her fingers softly trace the back of his hand. A few minutes later, they were walking down a quiet hallway hand in hand. As they neared the room, her eyes widened as she glanced from the Spa sign to Urs. He opened the door for her and smiled, lightly kissing the back of her hand. As they stepped up to the desk he said, “Good Evening, this lovely lady is here for her Cocoa Massage.” He took Siobhan in his arms, kissed her deeply, whispering, “See you in 90 minutes or so, enjoy it my love…” and he stepped away, disappearing down the hall.

Siobhan wished the hands that touched her were his, but enjoyed the chocolate scented oil they used. It helped her keep him close in her mind as the tension of the past weeks drifted from her and melted to the floor below. She must have drifted off as the next thing she remembered was a warm gentle kiss on her cheek.

“You look so beautiful and smell like Toblerone.” he whispered softly, brushing his lips against her cheek. He helped her sit up as he tucked the sheet around her. Still warm and relaxed, Siobhan could barely hold him close. Her body still tingled as he picked her up in his arms. He had already paid the bill before coming in to greet her. Carefully, he carried her back to their room, laying her gently on the bed. That evening, they made love slowly and tenderly.

In the morning, they had breakfast as Urs explained they would be traveling most of the day to get to the next surprise and give them both an idea of what their honeymoon travels would be like. They wanted to bike Europe for their honeymoon. Siobhan looked deeply into his eyes and whispered softly, “What are you trying to do Urs, spoil me into oblivion? I couldn’t love you more than I do now… truly. You fill me with so much as it is. I enjoyed the surprises, but it is you and you alone that I want more than anything.”

Urs smiled as he touched her face. “I know Siobhan, I love you too… more than mere words can ever express. You have been there for me and the guys through it all… good and not so good. I want to fill you with memories of us and our time together. I want to give you something that is me… just me, not Il Divo… me.”

An hour later, they were packed and Urs was backing the motorcycle out of the parking space. He held the bike as Siobhan got on it, then snuggled in behind her. Soon, they were on the interstate again, headed to the mountains. As they traveled, they stayed among the mountains on the interstate as they crossed Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, toward North Carolina. Siobhan was becoming more comfortable driving the motorcycle and enjoyed Urs holding her close as the miles clicked away. For the trip, it was just the two of them, the roar of the motorcycle, and the mountains. As they crossed the last state line, Urs asked her to pull over a moment. As they reached the mountain top clearing, Siobhan did so and turned off the engine. Both eased themselves off the motorcycle and looked at the mountains looming beyond.

He took her hand in his, wrapping the other around his waist as he pulled her close. “Siobhan, as we look at these mountains, please know there is not one on this earth that will be too big for me to climb to reach you. They could touch the sun and it wouldn’t matter. As we look out, know too that the mountains are there for you as well. Regardless of where we are in this world, together or apart, they are a part of me; I a part of them.” He kissed her warmly as he held her close, rocking her gently in his arms as the sun started its lazy decent. Urs glanced at his watch before hugging her again. Can you make it another hour Siobhan? We’re almost there.”

Siobhan nodded, still watching the view. Urs would drive the last part as Siobhan’s legs were starting to ache from the drive that took most of the day. He helped her get back on the bike, promising they would be there soon. She snuggled close to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and breathing deeply. Soon, she saw the Chalet where they would stop for the evening and enjoy the next two days. As Urs slowed the bike and parked it, he said, “This is called Little Switzerland as the mountains here are like the Swiss Alps. I thought it would be nice to stay here together in the mountains.” He got off the bike, helped her to get off and checked in.

The Chalet was warm and cozy and their room reminded both Urs and Siobhan of an Alpine lodge. Both of them were tired, so they used the whirlpool before dinner to ease the road from their bodies. They ate a light meal in their room in front of the fireplace. After they finished, they stood on the balcony and watched the moon come out as they held each other close. Urs reached for Siobhan’s face as the moon’s glow encircled them.

“Siobhan, my love, it may sound corny, but there is no star in the sky, no planet or sun’s glow that will ever hold a candle to you.” Siobhan smiled, kissed him softly and fell deeply in love with him again.

That evening and for the two days that followed, there was no one else in their world. They hiked the mountains and he picked wild flowers for her in large, simple bouquets. They marveled at the simple beauty that surrounded them as the mountains sheltered them from everything else. At night, he held her close, softly singing love songs and arias to her that made her heart soar, and they enjoyed each other in a deeper closeness than either had felt before. That weekend, Urs fell in love with Siobhan all over again as well.

David and Suzie’s Getaway

David awoke early the next morning… chores on his mind as well as the words he wanted to say. Rubbing his eyes and stretching lazily, he sat up and looked over at Suzie sleeping beside him. He watched her briefly, trying to put the words together in his mind, rephrasing and rehearsing it again and again. Nothing seemed just right…. Something was missing and at this early hour, he couldn’t put his finger on it. After a few minutes, he set aside that plan to prepare for the day and their getaway. Part of him wanted to be lazy today, stay in bed beside Suzie and just be with her. Another part of him knew that the chores had to be finished first. Softly, he kissed her forehead and brushed back a lock of her hair so he could see her face as she snuggled deeper into her pillow. He smiled again before he turned to get out of bed. Standing, he stretched again and headed to the bathroom. He dressed quickly, picked up his work boots and headed to the kitchen. As he waited for a fresh pot of coffee to brew, he pulled his boots on and tied them. Standing, he walked over to the counter and poured a cup of coffee. He pulled out the Reservation Confirmation for Old Edwards Inn he had made for their getaway weekend. He smiled to himself, thinking about the Great Mountain Romance package he had booked for them… roses, petals on the bed for the evening turn down, champagne, strawberries… the massage. Carefully, he tucked it away, hoping Suzie wouldn’t be walking down the hall to catch him.

He was listening to the quiet early morning, the voices of the others that were away echoing in his mind. The door to Dori and Sebastien’s room was closed. He hoped they would be ok while he and Suzie were gone. He finished the last of his coffee and put the cup in the sink. He wiped his hands on the back of his jeans as he headed to the door. He noticed Walter was already waiting for him by the barn.

Walter smiled as he saw the sheepish grin on David’s face, still contemplating what he was going to say to Suzie. Other than Sebastien, Walter was the only other one that knew what was going to happen. David hadn’t told Suzie about the trip yet, he would soon. He wanted it to appear spontaneous to her, even though he had spent hours setting everything up.

“Well, if you don’t look like the cat that just swallowed the canary…” Walter said, resting his hand on David’s shoulder. “You’re not nervous are you? …big music star that you are...“ He chuckled softly. David just smiled broader and shrugged his shoulders, adjusting his baseball cap before stuffing his hands into his pockets. They chatted briefly about the day’s work and what needed to be finished while David was away.

An hour later, David headed back to the farmhouse. As he stood on the front porch, his eyes scanned the mountains. “Yes, I can see why Dori loves them… It does feel like home…” David whispered to himself as he ran his fingers through his hair, tucking his cap into the back of his jeans. “That’s done, now… on to the next…” He opened the door and peeked in. No one was in the kitchen, so he took his boots off, setting them by the door, and walked toward the living room that had been set up for Dori’s therapy.

Sebastien and Dori were already starting her therapy. Sebastien smiled as David stepped into the room. Seeing the look on David’s face, he knew something was troubling David. They talked a few minutes as Sebastien patted him on the shoulder. David left, returning to the kitchen and down the hallway to his bedroom. Suzie was still sleeping peacefully, as David passed by the bed on his way to the shower. He peeled off his clothes, still deep in thought. “… Sebastien said no Hollywood, no drama, no Broadway scene, just from the heart…. What am I supposed to draw on to ask her? It’s all I have…” He looked in the mirror and thought heavily…”Suzie…”he uttered.

“Yes David.” Suzie said, appearing at the doorway.

David jumped, not expecting her to be there. “Oh, ummm nothing…. I mean… Good Morning. Did you sleep well? “He said blushing slightly.
“It started out well, but then I realized I was alone… and cold… and…”She said, stepping closer and wrapping her arms around his waist, kissing him. “I missed you.”

“I missed you too baby. I wanted to get an early start this morning… ” He kissed her deeply before continuing. “With everything that’s going on, I thought we deserved our own getaway. How does that sound to you? It won’t be far, but it will be just us…. You, me and nothing but nature…. no therapy, no hospitals… no animals… no farm business… no recording…no planes…”He kissed her again, pulling her even closer.

Suzie smiled and nodded, reaching for the tie on her bathrobe. “How about we start it right now?”

After a shower together, they returned to the bedroom and made love. As they lay together after, David snuggled her close. Suzie rested her head on his shoulder. They both sighed contently as they listened to the birds chirping happily outside. Later that morning, they dressed and packed a weekend bag. David asked Suzie to get something out of the bathroom for him. As she walked into the bathroom, David stuffed the reservation confirmation and the ring box into his bag, zipping the pocket shut just in time.

They said their good-byes to Sebastien and Dori and headed out. The highway wasn’t busy, so they arrived at Old Edwards Inn in a short time. Suzie and David entered the Main Lodge to check in. They were directed to their room and quickly got settled. They had a quick lunch and walked around the building taking in all of the area.

They headed back to the lodge and walked to the desk. Winking at the clerk, David said, “We’d like to do some hiking… any trails you would recommend?”

The clerk smiled and pulled out a map and directions. A few minutes later, they were headed up the BlueRidge Parkway to the Devil’s Courthouse. As David pulled into a parking place, they looked around at the beautiful scenery. Suzie and David slowly hiked up the trail, reaching the top slightly winded. They rested a moment, taking in the view, David wishing he had thought to bring the camera.

Suzie looked at the map, then back at the view. “It says we can see 4 states from here… one for each of the divos I guess…”

David’s eyes lit up as her words echoed in his mind. There wasn’t anyone else around, but David felt like he was about to give the performance of his lifetime. His heart pounded in his chest, his hands began to sweat as he reached into the pocket of his jacket.

Taking her into his arms and holding her close, he said, “Suzie… it is like the 4 Divos… and North Carolina is where we are now… and I will be. The thing is, I can only see four now, but I know there are more out there. I don’t know what the future of Il Divo is… much like I don’t know what lies beyond what we see now. But I do know two things… I know that I love you like nothing I’ve ever known before and I know I want you in my future. Suzie, as we look at these 4 states… knowing the beauty we see now and me not knowing the future, will you share the beauty beyond these 4 states by marrying me? Will you share the beautiful unknown with me as my wife? Will you say yes to a beautiful but unknown future together?” He pulled out the yellow gold engagement ring box out of his pocket and held it tightly in his hand.

Suzie gasped before saying, “Yes…. Yes… Yes David. I love you so much… Yes.”

David opened the box and showed her the ring before sliding it onto her finger. He kissed her hand first, wrapped his hand around hers, before he kissed her trembling lips. Suzie let her right hand reach for his face as tears welled in her eyes. They held each other close, not saying another word out load, watching the sun start to set.

David knew it would be dangerous to try to hike back down to the car in the dark. Soon, he whispered, “We need to get back down the trail before it gets dark. I don’t want to be stranded here or be on the evening news as the lost divo....” He kissed her deeply, still holding her hand. Suzie nodded.

They hiked down to the car as the red streaks of the evening sunset faded. David still held Suzie’s hand as he drove back to the Lodge. He parked the car and they walked in, both tired from the hike. They smiled at the clerk as they passed, David giving him a quick wink as well. In their room, the bed had already been turned down and the rose petals were sprinkled over the top.

David paused a moment to take Suzie in his arms again. “Are you hungry? I’m starved, but too tired to go out anywhere. How about you… want to go somewhere or not?”

“I’m right where I want to be….just you, me, and these four walls… nothing else. I’m hungry too, but tired as well. A nice meal, some champagne to celebrate and a quiet night with you in that luscious bed would be wonderful.” She wrapped her arms around his waist and kissed him deeply.

David smiled and kissed her back as he picked her up. He carried her to the bed and gently set her down. He picked up the phone and called room service to order their dinner and some champagne. The clerk said to check the dressing table for the chilling champagne and glasses. The meal would be ready and delivered in 20 minutes; asking when they wanted to schedule their massage. David consulted Suzie and scheduled their massage for the next day at 11:00 am. That completed, David hung up the phone and snuggled next to Suzie on the bed, reaching to hold her again.

He found the champagne chilling on the dressing table as the clerk had said as well as truffles and strawberries. He opened the bottle carefully as their meal was being set on the table by the fireplace. He poured two glasses and handed one to Suzie before sitting beside her.

As he put his arm around her, he held the other glass lightly in his hand. “I love you so much Suzie. I can’t say it enough. I want to shout it out and sing it to the world. Thank you for saying yes. I promise our future will be almost as beautiful as you look to me right now.” He lifted the glass slightly before taking a sip. Suzie smiled, blushing and kissed him, before taking a sip herself. They ate their meal quietly, both tired from the days hike up to Devil’s Courthouse. Taking the rest of the champagne and glasses to their bed, they set them down on the nightstand. Quickly, they undressed and showered, returning to the bed to snuggle and finish their champagne. That evening, both David and Suzie talked about their future together before they made love in the early hours of the morning.

The next day, they had a late breakfast before they had their massage, what the Lodge referred to as Rainforest Rejuvenation Ritual for Two. After an hour, both David and Suzie felt wonderful. They stayed at the Lodge that day, continuing to talk and plan their future and discussing a wedding date. David could not wait to tell the guys he too would be making the trip down the aisle.

That evening, they dined at Madison’s. They enjoyed their 3 course meal and lingered after, drinking the wine David had ordered. As they made their way back the hall, Suzie heard a jazz band playing in one of the Lounge rooms. They stopped briefly and looked in. There were only a few couples in the room, but the music was inviting. Soon, David and Suzie were slow dancing, looking deeply into each others eyes. As that song finished, another began, so they continued to dance. An hour later, both seemed content to return to their room. Their last night at the Lodge was quiet as they held each other close, watching the moon glow just above the mountain ridges. Suzie snuggled close to David, resting her forehead against his neck, letting her hand lightly caress his chest as they drifted off to sleep.

Tomorrow, they would return to the farm, no longer two people in love, but an engaged couple, planning to be married.

Return to the Farm

After David’s surprise Proposal and a couple of days at the Devil’s Courthouse, he and Suzie return to “Rolling Hills Farm.”He and Suzie can’t wait to tell the group the good news and get ready for the trips to London and then onto to Spain for Carlos and Cyd’s Wedding.

They have arrived at Lunch time and everyone else is sitting in the Dining room eating sandwiches and having Ice Tea. Urs and Siobhan have returned from their 2 day trip from the Harley Plant with her new Bike. Carlos and Cydhave return from Mexico and the short stay there. Sebastien and Dori have kept up with her therapy. She is up moving around very well now, can walk for a good amount of time and she has begun to be her old self again. David and Suzie come in and get a glass of Ice Tea and have a seat at the table. They join in the conversation for a bit before David taps his glass to get the attention of the group, announces that he proposed to Suzie at Devil’s Courthouse and she has accepted.

Carlos was the first to get up and shake David’s hand and hug Suzie. Cyd joined in and hugged Suzie as well as David. Urs looked at Siobhan and then back at David with a puzzled look before he got up and walked over to Suzie with the same look of puzzlement on his face. Pausing briefly he whispered to her, “Please…make him happy.”

Siobhan went to David and hugged him also. Sebastien was sitting with Dori when David made the announcement and looked over at Dori’s reaction. He saw she was smiling.

Sebastien stood, walked to Suzie and hugged her; he smiled, shook hands with David and gave him a hug.
Then he walked to Dori’s side and held out his hand for her. Dori rose and together they walked back to David and Suzie. Dori hugged her cousin and David, her best friend outside of Sebastien and said, “Congratulations David and Suzie, I think you will make a great pair. Please be as happy as Sebastien and I are.”

The rest of the afternoon found the whole group off doing different things; Cyd and Carlos were with the alpaca’s in the field. Siobhan and Urs went for a ride around the mountain, while David and Sebastien quietly slipped away up to the meadow and the new house being built there. Sebastien was very excited and couldn’t wait to show Dori. It would be a few more weeks before the inside was ready for decorating. They needed someone to help them, so they decided to show the house to Siobhan, Cyd and Suzie and had asked them to help finish getting it ready for Dori.

Dori had been resting when the guys left and Suzie was unpacking and putting things away from the trip. They found themselves in the kitchen looking for a snack and decided to sit on the porch. Dori loved the swing her father had made and put there. Suzie was happier than she ever had been. Dori could see the glow that came with loving an amazing man like David. They sat on the porch listening to the birds singing and the bees buzzing around the flowers and both women were at peace. When they looked up, they saw David and Sebastien walking toward them smiling. They wondered where they had been for such a long time.

David bent down and gave Suzie a long, passionate kiss as Sebastien followed suit. A moment later, David took Suzie’s hand and led her out to the yard. Sebastien settled on the swing next to Dori. Gently, he put his hand on her tummy and cooed softly to his daughters in French. Dori looked down and smiled before she kissed Sebastian on the cheek; thanking him for loving her so their daughters so much. David took Suzie up to the meadow and showed her the house Sebastien was having built for Dori. She was amazed they had been able to keep it a secret for so long. David asked her if she, Cyd and Siobhan would come and do the decorating for the inside of the house. She told him, “Yes we will start tomorrow as they only had a few days before leaving to go home to London.”

They went back to the farm. No one knew where they had been except Sebastien, who had a smile on his face the whole time. He couldn’t wait until they could go to the meadow together so he could show Dori their new home. Sebastien had never been so happy and complete in his life, other than with Il Divo performing in front of thousands of people. Now he had found his lady love and was going to be the father of 2 beautiful daughters. He was going to give Dori what she had wanted for so long...to live on top of the mountains, looking out over Gods country, and be at home where she grew up. He was content and so was Dori. Everyday she was more herself and getting stronger. Soon they would be walking down the aisle to marry. He couldn’t have been happier.

The next morning, Suzie led Cyd and Siobhan to the meadow where, for the first time, they saw this beautiful mountain home Sebastien had built for Dori. They had been told that they were needed to get the inside ready for Dori and Sebastien. They thought Suzie was joking until they walked into the house and found David and Sebastien waiting for them.

Siobhan and Cyd were shocked they had done this and no one was the wiser for it. Sebastien had left Carlos in charge of keeping Dori busy. Taking the job very seriously, he took her to the barn to see the alpacas and helped her feed them. They spent an hour just hanging out with the alpacas, talking and laughing about how Carlos originally thought they were camels. The memories of her taking care of the animals gave her a warm feeling, as let her fingers trail down Exacto’s neck and shoulder.

Dori enjoyed herself. She noticed most of the group was no where to be found, yet all of the cars were still in the driveway. She couldn’t help but wonder were the rest were. She didn’t say anything to Carlos, but she knew something was up, “Sebastien had him watching over me for a reason. What could it be?” She thought to herself.

The girls spent most of the next 3 days getting the house decorated. Sebastien was there everyday too, giving his ideas for the house. He wanted it to reflect both his and Dori’s life. The Nursery had to be perfect for his daughters and comfortable for Dori as well. It was 2 days before they were to leave for Europe that the house was finished. The group was ready for Dori see her new home.

Dori knew that Sebastien was up to something. She never asked him any questions as she knew it was something for her and their babies.
The Morning was beautiful. Dori had breakfast and was finishing her morning walk around the yard when Siobhan came and got her. Siobhan asked her to show her, Cyd and Suzie the meadow the guys had talked so much about, if she thought she was up to it. Dori was excited. She had not been there since before the accident with Sebastien. Happily, she made her way up the steps and down the hall to change into her walking shoes.

They left the farm and head up the hill, Dori leading the way and Cyd walking beside her. Siobhan and Suzie followed behind them. When they got close enough, Dori noticed things were different… that there was now a road coming in to the property. As they moved closer, she could see a house in the meadow that looked off on to the mountains where she had grown up, that continued down onto the farm.

She was very confused. She turned to Suzie with a sad face and asked her, “Did David sell the property to someone?”

Suzie looked at the others and began to answer as Sebastien came from the house to surprise Dori.

“Sebastien what are you doing here?” Dori ask him excited and crying.

“This is our home Mon Cherie and we will live here after we return from Europe.” Sebastien explained that he and David had been working on it since the accident.

Dori was stunned by his announcement. All of the girls were crying. David had tears along with Carlos and Urs. All of the tears shed for Dori and Sebastien, who had such a rocky start and come so far. Now they have the home of their dreams. Dori was amazed at Sebastien. Once again he made her dreams come true. They walked up to the house with Sebastien holding her hand all the way. After he opened the front door, he picked her up and carried her inside the house. The others waited patiently outside, leaving the happy couple to explore their new paradise a few minutes alone. Dori and Sebastien toured the house together. As the couple made their way to the back of the house, the rest of the group walked in and stood waiting quietly. Dori couldn’t believe the way it was decorated. She looked at Sebastien, her eyes asking who helped him with all of the details.

“The girls pitched in and helped to decorate the house from top to bottom… to get it just right.” Sebastien explained to her as they came to the front of the house again.

She turned with tears in her eyes as she went to each one. Gently and tenderly, Dori gave them a kiss on the cheek and hugs for all they had done to help make her dreams come true. They all had a group hug and shared their tears again.

Most everyone went back to the farm, but Sebastien couldn’t tear Dori away from the house. As the lazy afternoon filled the house with warm soft sunlight, they had a drink, sat outside on the porch and looked the farm nestled below and the beautiful mountains surrounding them.

They watched the sunset before they walked back to the farm; talking about the house and how much they couldn’t wait to get moved in. Dori was getting tired and wanted to eat and go to bed. Her mind filled with the ways she wanted to show Sebastien how much she loved him.

They retired to bed not long after returning from the house, making their excuses to the others and saying they were very grateful to all of them. Dori went to the bathroom to shower as Sebastien stayed in the bedroom pulling the covers back.

Dori called for Sebastien. When he came to her, she pulled him in to the shower with his clothes on and began kissing him. He quickly removed his clothes as they made love there. When they were finished, they took their love making to the bed; making love for half the night before falling asleep in each others arms. As the stars quietly twinkled in the warm summer night, they dreamed of their new home and the daughters they would bring home there.

The next morning they all had breakfast together before finalizing the flight plans to London the next day. They also finished packing so the bags would be ready for the driver to take out to the airport.

Dori hated having to leave now. She had seen her new home, but was looking forward to coming home to live there. Sebastien and David went to make arrangements for a person to come and furnish the rest of the house with the most important things like the beds and the nursery furniture while they were in London. Walter would be in charge of all of the final details.

Walter was sad to see them leave. He had gotten use to David and Suzie being there to help him, Cyd being with the Alpaca’s. Dori was leaving and coming back a married woman….”all grown up…Her father and mother would be so proud of the woman she had become…” Walter thought as he gazed at her.

Walter would see them again at their wedding. For the men of Il Divo and the ladies that loved them, it would be a lot of traveling again, but without the performing. Each couple would retire to their own rooms to spend one more night in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains with all the peace and serenity they could want.6 AM the following morning, all of them were ready to go to the airport and onto the next stop… London.

The flight was simple and relaxed this time. They sat around talking, waiting to arrive at Heathrow Airport and get through Customs. This time there were no tears, no urgent need to get there, no preparing for the worst but hoping for the best. The Drivers were waiting at the Customs office to take them to their homes. Cyd and Carlos had a car. Urs and Siobhan had one also. David and Sebastien shared one since they lived in the same building… at least for the time being.

They were all fairly happy to be back, but Dori was missing the mountains. Sebastien could see it in her eyes. He gently took her in his arms promising her they would be back there as soon as all the weddings were over. She loved this man so much and knew he would soon take her home… back to her mountains… their mountains… because he had grown to love the peace there too.

They had a quiet dinner and sat beside the fireplace. Sebastien stood a moment and walked to his laptop, opening it carefully. He pulled out the unmarked CD and slid it into the tray, waiting for the program to start. Smiling, he waited a moment and turned to Dori. “

I wanted our first night back in London to be as special as the first. While you were recovering, I heard this song. It reminded me of our first night together and what we have to look forward to with our future. I hope it reminds you of the same things as well. In our future, there may be times when we will not be together. I just want you to know that, if and when that happens, nothing in my heart will change. I’m not the type of man that is only married when my wife is around. I will always be married to you and only you.” As he finished, he pressed the start button on the program to play.

After the song finished, they continued talking before walking back the hall to bed. There they made love in the bed where they had spent the last night she was in London. It was nice to be there as the memories came flooding back to Dori. She was finally a peace with this life she had come to know and love so dearly. She was with the man of her dreams and having 2 beautiful daughters … life was good.

Soon, they are traveling to Spain for the first of 4 weddings.

Carlos and Cyd’s wedding

Cyd met Siobhan, Dori and Suzie in the lobby of the hotel. They were headed to the Day Spa for “the treat” that Carlos had planned for them. All Cyd knew was there would be a limo waiting and to be at the spa at 11 am for a light lunch before their treat started. She hugged each of them warmly, watching for the limo to appear with eager anticipation. It had only been an hour since she had talked to Carlos last, but she already missed him. The limo arrived and they traveled to the spa. After having a nice lunch in the gardens, they each had a full body hot stone massage, facial, manicure and their hair done. Feeling refreshed and thoroughly pampered, they returned to the limo to travel across town to the gardens for the wedding. As they made their way to the gardens, all of them remembered their massage and it made them miss their guys even more, especially Cyd. While she was lying on the table, she wanted the warm, caring hands touching her to be his. As she felt her arms softly, she remembered his touch being there from the many times before. Soon they were talking about the gardens where the wedding would take place. The others had only been to the gardens for rehearsal, but Cyd had been there many times before with Carlos. It was where he had proposed to her that clear, moonlit night among the orchids just beginning to bloom. Cyd loved how he had always seemed to make her feel like a princess, especially when they were in the Royal City of Madrid. It always made her feel warm and special.

As they finished chatting, the limo arrived at the gates of The Gardens. The girls were helped out of the limo by the driver once again. Cyd remembered the Reflecting Pond to the right of the entrance. She guided them toward it so they could see the fountains before heading to the Conservatory to get dressed. As Siobhan, Dori and Suzie take in the scenic view Cyd opens her clutch purse to retrieve the four newly minted US Silver Dollars she had put in there that morning. She gave each of them one, keeping the last for herself, explaining that they were to make a very special wish and toss the coin into the water. Each of them thought carefully, closing their eyes to make their special wish for their special Divo and the love each had shared. Taking a deep breath, they lightly toss their coin into the water, watching the tiny wave each had created. Cyd opened her arms and gathered them together, each wrapping an arm around the other in a tight circle. Once again, each thought about the wish they had made and the love that had gone into each one. A few minutes later, they followed the path to the Conservatory building to change.

Carlos had been in the distance, watching their arrival. At first, he had wanted to greet them, but when he saw them at the fountains, he stopped to give them a moment. Now, as the ladies walked away, he walked to where they had stood. What he has seen had touched him. He sat at the pool’s edge where they had been, thinking about Cyd and all the things she meant to him. He lightly touched the water’s surface with his hand; wishing it was her face as he pictured her reflection in the glassy, smooth surface. He let his mind wonder to the day’s events, hoping he had done everything he could to make it her perfect day. As his fingers glide through the waters edge again Urs, David and Sebastien greet him, bringing him out of his thoughts.

Carlos smiles dreamily a moment before he stands to greet them. Soon, they too follow the path to the Conservatory building to get dressed for the wedding. They dress quickly and efficiently, having done it so many times for a concert performance. Carlos looks about the room, seeing they are all finished. Politely, he turns to Sebastien saying, “Would you please check on the ladies with my sweet Princess to see if they need anything?” lightly touching his shoulder.

Sebastien adjusts his jacket and nods, smiling. Carlos points him in the right direction, adding “And make sure there are enough flowers in their room. I know how much Cyd enjoys them. I want there to be many, many flowers in there. Can you do that too please?” Turning to Urs, he gently let his hand rest on his shoulder. “Urs, my friend, could you help me please? I want to make sure the surprise for the ceremony is ready. Can you check on that for me? I need a moment to gather myself together. "

Urs nods and hugs Carlos warmly. Carlos whispered the details to him before Urs heads out the door as well. Looking to David in the corner of the room, staring out the window deep in thought, Carlos seemed satisfied for the moment. He walked back to the dressing table and looked at himself in the mirror, taking a deep breath and smiling his signature smile. Gently, he picked up the small box that contained the white gold rings he and Cyd had chosen. As he opened the box, he smiled again. He had secretly inscribed the inside of her ring with the words “Mi Princesa, Cydalia” meaning “My Princess, Cydalia” in Spanish. He wanted her to know that she was a princess… his very special princess. He took the rings out of the box, tucked them gently into his pocket and laid the empty box on the table.

Sebastien had made his way down the hallways to where Cyd and the others were changing. He knocked softly at the door. A few seconds later, Suzie answered, opening the door. Sebastien hadn’t seen their gowns yet and he was awed by their beauty and elegance. Suzie stepped back from the doorway so he could see the group. Blushing at first, Sebastien looked into the room and quickly took in the bridal party, letting his eyes rest longingly on Dori. She stood next to Cyd as Cyd lovingly touched and smelled yet another flower arrangement in the room. Taking his eyes off of Dori for a moment, he greeted them warmly, hugging each one in turn, saving Dori for last. As he held her close, he kissed her cheek warmly, looking into her eyes. Slowly, he surveyed the room again, making a mental note that there was a vast amount of flowers in the room. Carlos would be pleased as he watched Cyd gleefully move to another arrangement, touching and admiring each one. He and Dori walked over to her, as Sebastien tried to whisper his thanks to her for all she had done. He couldn’t seem to get the words out, but Cyd understood and hugged them warmly.

Urs soon arrived and walked through the open door. He hugged Siobhan, lightly kissing her cheek before greeting the others. He too surveyed the room with all of the flowers and smiled as soon as he saw the red rose bouquet on the dressing table.

Urs checked his watch, saying, “Well lovely ladies, as beautiful as all of you look among these wonderful flowers, we do have someplace special to be soon. I think we need to get there… don’t want to be late.” He smiled, laughing softly.

Urs extends his elbows out to Siobhan and Suzie. Sebastien takes Dori’s hand and extends the other to Cyd. Slowly, they make their way down the hallway and into the courtyard. Cyd’s long satin dress flows softly in the wisp of breeze as her veil floats gently behind her head. Sebastien, Dori and Cyd made their way through the trellised pathway to the garden area behind Urs, Siobhan and Suzie. Cyd can’t help but stop every now and then to touch or smell a flower along the path. Urs’ group was well ahead of them, so he had already signaled David to join them. David had arrived moments before Sebastien’s and he hugged Suzie warmly, whispering softly to her. He too voiced his approval of the elegant charcoal grey gowns the girls were wearing before he saw Cyd on Sebastien’s arm.

He smiled broadly, thinking “Carlos is right; she does look like a Princess today.” He hugged her warmly, then Dori. David gave each of the ladies their bouquet for the ceremony, waiting momentarily for Cyd to move her engagement ring to her right hand first.

Taking their places, David peeked through the archway into the garden. Carlos has taken his place at the front of the platform with the minister. The small orchestra began to play a soft refrain
Looking into the garden, the flower petals had already be sprinkled on the white carpeted pathway. He smiled, as they were red and white, the same they used at the concerts. David and Suzie started, followed by Urs and Siobhan. Dori and Sebastien would be next, followed by Cyd. Carlos watched the processing with anticipation; he couldn’t wait to see her. As his eyes fell upon her bridal glow, they welled with tears. He had never felt so passionate about anything like her before. He wanted to touch her and hold her tightly in his arms.

Cyd kept her eyes on Carlos as she carefully made her way up the aisle. Nothing else existed for her at that moment. As she neared him, she reached for his extended hand and took it lightly. Carlos softly kisses her hand before they step onto the platform together, alone with the minister.

When the time came, Carlos recited the vows he had written for Cyd:
“Cydalia Arroyo, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have never been so happy than I am right now. You are my world, my love, my star on the horizon. You are my Princess. I love you and I my love for you will never change or end.” The minister handed the wedding ring to Carlos and he slid it deftly onto her finger. Cyd could hardly breathe as she saw the look of love in his eyes.

Taking his wedding ring into her trembling hand, Cyd said the vows she had written for Carlos:
“Carlos Marin, I met you at a time in my life when I thought love didn’t exist. You showed me that love doesn’t have to hurt and that it is the best thing ever. You are my knight in shining armor. I love you my Carlos.” as she gently placed the ring on his finger. The minister looked briefly over his shoulder before continuing the service. As he concluded with the words, “I now pronounce you husband and wife… you may kiss your bride.”

He stepped to his right. Carlos took Cyd into his arms to kiss her deeply as the sun was setting behind them, silhouetting them in a soft blaze of color as it lightly rested on the horizon as the couples lips meet.

The minister lightly steps off the platform and walks to the perimeter.

Carlos, still holding Cyd close, whispers softly…” Cyd, my princess, your days alone are behind you... all 365 of them. To give them their final farewell, I wanted to show you so My Way.” He reaches into his pocket and pulls out the tiny remote, pushing the button as he holds her even closer. Within seconds, there are dozens of Black-veined Whites butterflies floating up and flying off from the bottom of the platform in a cloud of black and white color. “See, there is one for every day Princess. Say good-bye to them as they float off to another place. You don’t need them any more.” Carlos kissed her deeply as the butterflies floated off in all directions to the garden as the sun dipped quietly behind them.

Carlos and Cyd’s Reception

After the photographer was finished taking the rest of the pictures, Carlos, Cyd and the rest of the wedding party got into the waiting Limos to go to the reception at Hotel Maria Elena Palace. The limo carrying all of them except Cyd and Carlos pulled up first. David, Urs and Sebastien got out first and helped the ladies as Cyd and Carlos’ limo pulled in behind them a few minutes later. Carlos and Cyd had stopped their limo at the fountain on the way to each toss a Euro coin into the fountain while making a wish. Carlos gets out of the limo first and helps Cyd get out as well. As they enter the hotel together, all of them look around at the beautiful lobby before heading back the hall to the reception room. The band has already set up and soft music is playing as people arrive. Carlos and Cyd welcome their guests as the champagne is being served.

David and Suzie stayed with Carlos and Cyd to welcome the guests as Dori, Sebastien, Urs and Siobhan went into the reception hall main area. Sebastien didn’t want Dori to wear herself out too early so he asked Siobhan to sit with her at the table as he and Urs checked with the band for the bridal dance. Cyd and Carlos had chosen the song together as a way of further expressing their love for each other.

Soon everyone was seated and enjoying their meal. As they ate, Cyd could still feel the sensation of the butterflies that Carlos had released at the end of their wedding ceremony rushing past them in a soft flutter. As she thought about it, she felt a faint flutter within herself and blushed slightly. Quietly, she reached for Carlos hand and rested it lightly on her stomach where she had felt the light flutter. Carlos looked softly at her and smiled, rubbing her stomach lightly before she pressed his hand closer and looked into his eyes. It took a moment for her to see his face light up with joy as they waited to feel the next tiny flutter together. Dori had noticed them and smiled to Cyd with a quick nod. Cyd had thought what she was feeling was just nerves from the wedding, but Dori and she had talked before. Now, Cyd knew for certain that it wasn’t nerves from the wedding she was feeling. She hoped Carlos could feel the flutter as well.

He kissed her lightly and whispered “I love you so much Cyd. I’m so glad we are going to have a family together. You have made me the happiest man in the galaxy today and every day my Princess.”

Cyd smiles as her hand touches his face to caress it softly. “I love you too, Carlos. You have made me the happiest woman there could ever be. Our love will only continue to grow, as does our sweet child and that is the most precious gift of all…“as she returns his kiss softly and feels a tiny flutter again.

Carlos’ eyes widen with his smile as he feels the subtle flutter across his palm, thinking “I have married the woman of my dreams and feel the first hints of our child in the same day. How can I be so blessed? I shall remember this day always.” As a tear rolls toward his cheek and rests on Cyd’s fingers.

After they finish their meal, Sebastien stands quietly and walks the few steps to stand behind Cyd and Carlos. As he raises his glass of champagne, he begins “To Cyd and Carlos, our bride and groom… The sun has set on you last hours in this world as two individuals. May it be your past lives final chapter, sealed forever by your kiss this happy day. The moon now rises to create its heavenly glow. As the stars twinkle around it, may they reflect the many chapters yet to be written, of your new life together as one heart, one mind, and one soul.”

David, Urs, Dori, Siobhan and Suzie all stand to toast the happy couple, as do the guests. Carlos and Cyd both smile as they stand as well. He takes her into his arms and kisses her deeply, before turning to thank Sebastien for his kind words with a brotherly hug. Sebastien returns the hug and hugs Cyd as well before he walks back to his chair. Soon, the tables are cleared as Cyd and Carlos walk to the table to cut the beautiful wedding cake. Cyd enjoys his touch lightly on her hand as the knife goes through the bottom layer of the cake. As they finish, Carlos snuggly wraps his arm around her waist and pulls her close, kissing her neck lightly. After having a small amount themselves, Carlos kisses Cyd again before joining David, Urs and Sebastien on the low stage with the band.

GROOMS CAKE

“Cyd, my Princess, this song is for you. Without Il Divo, we probably would never have met and I would not have found you. The other members of Il Divo are my brothers and you are now my wife. I can’t think of a better way of sharing all of this good fortune, other than through this very special song. “
The band begins the soft introduction and they sing “ESISTI DENTRO MI”.
ESISTI DENTRO MI – YOU EXIST IN ME

il nostro amore restera – OUR LOVE WILL REMAIN
tra le mie braccia ti vorrei – I WANT YOU IN MY ARMS
nella mia anima tu sei – YOU’RE IN MY SOUL

la vita non si fermera – LIFE WON’T END
e un nuovo sole nascera – AND A NEW SUN WILL RAISE
non sai quanto ti vorrei – YOU DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU
nella mia anima tu sei – YOU’RE IN MY SOUL

Ancora tu – NOW YOU
nella mia mente solo tu – IN MY MIND ONLY YOU
chiudo gli occhi e pensa a te – I CLOSE MY EYES AND THINK OF YOU
perche esisti dentro me – BECAUSE YOU EXIST IN ME

ripenso al blu degli occhi tuoi – I THINK OF YOUR BLUE EYES
ma ormaai lontani siamo noi – BUT NOW WE’RE APART
tu sei la gioia che vorrei – YOU’RE THE HAPPINESS I WANT
nella mia anima tu sei – YOU’RE IN MY SOUL

Nei miei sogni ancora tu – YOU’RE IN MY DREAMS AGAIN
nella mia mente solo tu – IN MY MIND ONLY YOU
chiudo gli occhi e pensa a te – I CLOSE MY EYES AND THINK OF YOU
perche esisti dentro me – BECAUSE YOU EXIST IN ME

Nei miei sogni ancora tu – YOU’RE IN MY DREAMS AGAIN
nella mia mente solo tu – IN MY MIND ONLY YOU
chiudo gli occhi e pensa a te – I CLOSE MY EYES AND THINK OF YOU
io so solamente che – I ONLY KNOW THAT
tu sei ancora dentro me – YOU’RE STILL INSIDE ME

After finishing the words to the song, the band continues to play the melody as Carlos takes Cyd into his arms to dance to the song they had chosen. The final notes of the song are still hanging in the air as Carlos kisses her once again. The guests surround the happy couple as they finish the bridal dance. Sebastien, David and Urs leave the stage to join the Dori, Siobhan and Suzie at the edge of the dance floor. Soon, everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves.

As the evening continued, Sebastien stayed at Dori’s side, holding her hand or wrapping his arms around her waist. They had only danced a few times before Carlos announced that he was taking his beautiful bride away from them for the evening, wished them all well and asked they continue to enjoy themselves. With that said he gently picks Cyd up in his arms and dashes out of the room, holding her close. David already had the hall’s door open for the quick exit down the hall and Urs had the elevator waiting as well. Carlos quickly thanks them both before disappearing out of sight, with Cyd in his arms. He had booked the Bridal Suite for their first night together as husband and wife. They would be leaving for Italy in the morning for their honeymoon.

That evening, the elevator trip seemed to take a long time to reach the top floor. As the elevator doors finally opened, Carlos stepped out into the darkened hallway to their suite. Cyd swiped the keycard and turned the handle of the door. Carlos stepped across the threshold and walked over to the bedroom. Their luggage had been delivered earlier. He gently lowered Cyd onto the bed, leaving her only a moment to put out the “Do Not Disturb” sign and lock the door. He was loosening his tie and taking his jacket off as he made his way back to Cyd’s open arms.

“Well Mrs Cydalia Marin, what would you like to do this evening…hummmm? I do so love saying your name now. It has such a nice ring to it, don’t you think? Of course, there is nothing more beautiful than you, but I do love it…” as he held her close. Cyd smiled and kissed him deeply, whispering shyly what she wanted to do. Carlos smiled and kissed her back with a slight blush in his cheeks. He helped her out of her gown and he took off the rest of his tuxedo. Soon, they were snuggled under the covers, making love again. The nightgown that Cyd had spent hours finding for just this night lay at the bottom of their bed. The next morning, Carlos awoke early and watched Cyd sleeping peacefully beside him as he watched the sun rise through the window beyond. He thought about what she had said when they were in Mexico and touched her belly lightly, hoping to feel a light flutter again. His warm touch against her skin made Cyd stir slightly, snuggling closer in his arms. He kissed her forehead lightly as she opened her eyes, smiling. They made love again before getting a shower and dressed to go to the airport.

Carlos and Cyd’s Honeymoon

They ate a light breakfast on the plane as Cyd was too excited to eat at the hotel. Carlos had insisted she try to eat something. She nibbled on toast with jam and drank the juice; beyond that, Carlos couldn’t get her to eat anything else. The plane landed soon after in Venice. They made their way through Customs after collecting their bags. Carlos managed get them through the airport with only a few delays to sign autographs. The trip to the hotel was a short one. The limo pulled up to the door as the doorman stepped up to open the door. Carlos had pre-paid the driver, so he drove off soon after. Cyd looked around the cozy area he had chosen for them. As they made their way through the lobby, Carlos pointed out the canals beyond with the gondolas, explaining that they would be making use of one of them tonight. He had already arranged it. As Cyd tried to get him to tell her more about it, he smiled and winked at her. He wasn’t ready to reveal his special surprise.

After they checked in, they spent the day wandering around the city. By late afternoon, Cyd and Carlos both seemed tired, so they returned to their room for a short nap. They snuggled close and watched the sunset before heading down stairs for dinner. Cyd had snacked through the day, but now was very hungry. Carlos seemed relieved that she was eating well now. Later, they headed toward the pier and Carlos was directed to a gondola. He helped Cyd in and snuggled close beside her under the light canopy. He held her close and kissed her lovingly before looking deep into her beautiful green eyes. As the boat turned toward the ocean, Cyd and Carlos could see the full moon shining high in the evening sky. Cyd remembered the words Sebastien had said in his toast. Carlos had taken her hand and deftly slid off the seat to kneel in front of her. Kissing her hand softly first, he began to sing to her.
English translation of “PER TE”

For You (Per Te)

I smell in the air the scent of you
Little dreams had lived with me
Now I know, I don’t want to lose you
That sweetness which has no age
Your beauty has no rivals
My heart wants only you

For you, For you, I’ll live
Love is going to win
With you, With you, I’ll have
Hundreds days of happiness
Hundreds nights of serenity
I’ll do what you’ll ask me to
I’ll go always anywhere you go
I’ll give all the love I feel for you

Tell me that you know the future, yet
Tell me that this is not going to change
Without you I don’t want to exist

For you, For you, I’ll live
Love is going to win
With you, With you, I’ll have
Hundreds days of happiness
Hundreds nights of serenity
I’ll do what you’ll ask me to
I’ll go always anywhere you go
I’ll give all the love I feel for you

I mustn’t say it to you, by now you know it
That I would die without you

For you, For you, I’ll live
Love is going to win
With you, With you, I’ll do
Everything you’ll ask me to
I’ll go always anywhere you go
I’ll give all the love I feel for you.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 46   Mon Dec 29, 2008 5:35 pm

Tears filled Cyd’s eyes as she listened to his deep, baritone voice and look into his honey brown eyes. The rest of the time they were in the gondola, Carlos continued to hum parts of the song to her as he kissed her again and again. After they returned to their room, she asked him to sing it again and he smiled. “Not without the moon, my princess…. Not without the moon.” He picked her up in his arms and once again carried her to their bed as the sun began its early morning trip from the horizon to the sky.

After a few hours, Carlos awoke to the brilliant afternoon sun peeking into the window of their suite. He looked over at Cyd’s face, nestled in his arms and touched her cheek softly. As he leaned closer, his lips grazed against hers as he hummed a verse of Esisti Dentro Mi. The gentle vibration of his lips as he hummed felt warm to Cyd as she opened her eyes to see his smiling face. Her arms reached out to pull him against her snuggly as she kissed his buzzing lips. They stayed in the suite that afternoon, ordering a light meal and enjoying their time alone together. As the evening cooled, they strolled down the narrow streets of Venice, looking in the windows of the shops and taking in the romantic atmosphere of the city. As the moon rose in the sky, they returned to their suite and stood on the balcony to watch it apex in the clear night sky. As it did, Cyd turned to Carlos and whispered softly, “You have your moon Carlos… please, will you sing the song again?”
Carlos smiled and wrapped his arms around her as she rested her head on his shoulder. He sang “Per Te” to her again, softly this time, as they watched the silvery moon in the distance. As he finished, he kissed Cyd deeply, blew a gentle kiss to the moon, and carried her back to their bed. They snuggled close that night with the moonlight glistening through the window. After Cyd drifted off to sleep, Carlos watched the moon quietly for a bit, marveling in all that had happened the last few months. He whispered a sweet good night, touching Cyd’s belly softly as he drifted off to sleep as well.

For Cyd and Carlos, the remaining days of their honeymoon were filled with the arts, music, gardens and parks of the area. The last day in Venice, as Cyd took a nap, Carlos went down to the jewelry shop they had seen a few days before. There, he chose a beautiful necklace for Cyd. He tucked the tiny package into his jacket pocket and quickly returned to Cyd’s side. He watched her sleeping quietly as he pulled the tiny box from his jacket pocket before he hung his jacket over the chair. He wanted to surprise her as much as he knew she needed to rest.

Soon, Cyd rustled slightly beside him. As he reached to hold her close, she snuggled against his chest and tucked her arm around his waist. He kissed her forehead softly and whispered, “Cyd, darling, you need to rest, but not sleep away our last day here. “ Cyd continued to keep her eyes closed as he kissed her nose and then her lips. “I have something for you. Would you like to see it?”

Cyd smiled sleepily. “I think I’ve seen everything you have Carlos.”
Carlos blushed lightly and put his hand under her chin. “This you haven’t seen. Please? Open those beautiful green eyes so I can see them again.” He laid the tiny box near her and opened the lid to the box. Carefully, he took the necklace out of the box and laid the pendant on her upper chest.
“Carlos, that’s cold and not nice…. Oh my… it’s beautiful.” Cyd said opening her eyes suddenly.

“I wanted you to have something special and I saw this the other day while we were out. It reminded me of so many wonderful things that have happened recently. The white part is like the sun and moon, both of our special reminders of our child, the butterfly is for the wedding, the little diamonds are the stars from Sebastien’s toast, and the white gold around it all is the love that surrounds us. It has brought it all together for me and I hope it does for you as well.”

Cyd sat up and looked at the necklace closer, touching the pendant lightly as she smiled. “Yes Carlos, it does. I will wear it always and we will remember it together.” Carlos smiled as she turned and pulled her hair up as he undid the clasp of the necklace. Cyd liked the feel and weight of it. As she turned around after he fastened the clasp he smiled and kissed her deeply. “And now you can sing Per Te to me any time as your moon is always here now.”

Carlos brushed back a lock of Cyd’s hair and kissed her again. “Yes, I will.” He started to softly hum the song to her as he cradled her in his arms.

Urs and Siobhan’s Wedding

Siobhan had spent a quiet morning, reflecting on the events to come. She wanted to be alone for awhile, so headed to the church early; knowing Urs would be his usual punctual self. As she opened the simple entry door at the side of the sanctuary, she was surprised to see what it looked like during the day. She had only been there a few times before and always in the evening. The sun shining through the stained glass windows created a rainbow of colors across the dark wooden pews. As she walked in, the door softly swished behind her with a final light click. The dark woods were glowing with light from the sunlight and lightly painted walls as she looked around. No one was there yet. Softly, she touched the well worn pews, letting her hands feel the history she had imagined had occurred over the centuries there as she made her way up the side aisle to the pulpit and altar.

Soon she was standing by the pulpit with its intricate carvings that faced the congregation. Again, she let her hands lightly touch them as she looked at the detail. The photographer and artist appreciated the depth and detail the craftsmen had used over the ages. She made a mental note to return here after the wedding was over to photograph many of the things she had seen today. As she made her way to the altar, she noticed some people coming into the room. She turned away from the altar, walking back to the center aisle of the sanctuary. At the first pew, she sat to reflect again. As her eyes gazed around the room, many of the things she saw reminded her of Urs… the rich colors in the wood were like his voice; the bright light coming through the windows and the color on the walls like his smile; the warm, peaceful feeling like his touch that always made her feel so loved; the slender brass candlesticks that stood shining softly on the altar like the glint in his eyes when he sang to her. Siobhan decided she should start to get ready herself as she checked her watch, noticing more people arriving to prepare the church for the wedding. As she neared the stairway to go to the room with her gown as well as the bridesmaid gowns, she took a long look up the aisle and opened the door. It was then that she noticed Urs had entered through another area of the church. She smiled and paused in the shadows to watch him a moment. His contented look and calm demeanor once again calmed her as walked into the hallway.

Urs checked his watch and sat down for a moment. He was a few minutes early, but didn’t want to assume everyone else would be on his schedule. The final touches were coming together in the sanctuary. He had checked everything the night before when he brought the tuxedos in for him and the others to change into at the church. As he waited, he too reflected on the wedding. The white slender candles reminded him of her and the gown she would be wearing today. He hadn’t seen her in it, but had seen her gown soon after she had chosen it. He hoped the soft candle light would reflect the intricate pattern and pearls on the top part of her gown. He knew his love for Siobhan would always grow regardless of what happened with Il Divo. Now, he could take his time, be himself and love her as he wanted to… gently, tenderly but with great passion. He and she had so much in common. Being with her had been so easy, like breathing, it seems so natural. Urs reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out the tiny box that held the rings to look at them again. He let his finger glide over the pattern first before reading the inscription he had etched into her ring –
Mini Ewigi liäbi, Urs which means My Eternal Love, Urs. He smiled as he read it, then closed the box and returned it to his pocket. He closed his eyes a moment to try to picture the service that was to come and the happy times they would spend together.

PostSubject: Someone To Love Chapter 48   Mon Dec 29, 2008 5:40 pm

Soon, David lightly touched his shoulder and brought him back to the present. Everyone was at the church to get dressed. Urs smiled and led David down the hallway to the room they would use to get dressed. This would be the first time that Urs, David, Carlos and Sebastien changed in the same room since the early tour days of Il Divo. There weren’t enough rooms for each to have their own one. Urs carefully unzipped the garment bag that held his tuxedo. Siobhan had asked him to wear the same one he had worn when they had toured with Barbara Streisand in 2006. He didn’t want to tell her that that one had seen better days, so he had gotten the same style in a brand new tuxedo for him and the others. After today, he would carefully tuck it away for their wedding anniversaries that would be celebrated in years to come. He dressed quickly and efficiently, checking to be sure the others were staying on schedule. Soon the others were ready as well. Urs tucked the rings into his inside jacket pocket and straightened his tie once more. All four of them walked quietly to the sanctuary to warm up their voices briefly.

Across the hall, Siobhan and the other ladies were getting dressed as well. It hadn’t taken Cyd, Suzie and Dori long to be ready. Their gowns were black and classically elegant. They helped Siobhan with her gown and stood back to admire her in it. Smiling, she turned around slowly and looked at the reflection in the mirror. Each of them gently hugged Siobhan and kissed her cheek lightly. The photographer knocked on the door to see if Siobhan was ready. He had wanted to take a few of the bridal pictures before the ceremony. Cyd answered the door and let him in as Suzie picked up the red rose bouquets for the service. After about half an hour, the photographer was finished. The ladies walked up the hallway, keeping Siobhan behind them in case they ran into anyone on the way. As they neared the sanctuary, they hugged her again softly. Dori stayed with her as Suzie and Cyd went to find the guys. Soon, David, Carlos, and Sebastien appeared with Suzie and Cyd. David, Carlos and Sebastien hugged her gently and they took their places.

Siobhan could hear the music playing, but couldn’t see the sanctuary room yet, she was still out of view. As Dori held her bouquet, she carefully moved her engagement ring from her left hand to her right hand. The candles on the alter other than the tall center one had been lit, as well as the candles along the perimeter of the church. The only ones left were the tall tapers that were at the aisle. David carefully looked back at the group and smiled softly at Siobhan. She smiled back and took a deep breath, waiting to see Urs enter from the right as “The Man You Love” began.

Urs walked in to the sanctuary and carefully lit the top candle on the right side of the aisle before stepping back to watch the wedding party proceed. As David and Suzie started to walk up the aisle, they paused to light the first candle at the back of the aisle; Suzie the one on the left and David on the right. As they did so, the lights dimmed slightly.

Dori and Sebastien turned back and held out their hands to Siobhan. Holding her bouquet tightly, the three joined hands briefly as Sebastien smiled to her, whispering “This is your special day Siobhan. You couldn’t be more beautiful. I know you have made him one of the four happiest men on earth. All of us have found our true loves. This union will only make us better for it. Thank you for being you Siobhan. ”

Carlos and Cyd watched as David joined Urs o the right and Suzie stood on the left. Before they started, Carlos turned around and smiled at Siobhan, blowing her a light kiss. They too walked down the aisle, pausing to light the next candle set before completing the rest of the aisle. Again, the lights dimmed a little more with the lighting of these candles. Carlos took his place between David and Urs, Cyd beside Suzie. Dori smiled at Sebastien as they stepped forward, leaving Siobhan behind them. They too walked up the aisle, lighting the right and left candles near the front of the sanctuary as the lights dimmed to dark other than the soft candlelight in the room. Dori stood beside Cyd and Sebastien between Carlos and Urs as the last strains of the song ended.

Siobhan heard the voices of Il Divo singing “Unchained Melody.” Carefully, she proceeded up the aisle, pausing at the top to light the final candle on the left and taking her place beside Urs . She could hardly breathe he looked so handsome. Urs could barely remember the words to the song as he looked at Siobhan. As he had hoped, the soft candlelight combined with the glow of love on Siobhan’s face had created the perfect image for him. The intricate pattern with the inlaid pearls glowed in the candlelight as he took her hand. The minister started the ceremony and neither Siobhan nor Urs could recall what was being said as they looked into each other’s eyes.

Siobhan carefully handed her bouquet to Dori as the vows began:
“ I, Urs Buhler, take you, Siobhan Wolf to be my wife, my constant friend, my faithful partner and my love from this day forward. In the presence of God, our family and friends, I offer you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow. I promise to love you unconditionally, to support you in your goals, to honor and respect you, to laugh with you and cry with you, and to cherish you for as long as we both shall live. You are my eternal love, then, now and always.”

He carefully slid the ring on her finger and kissed her hand softly. Siobhan repeated the same vows and carefully placed the ring on his finger, kissing his hand lightly. Both Urs and Siobhan turned to face the guests and reach for the candle they had lit at the beginning of the ceremony. Holding the candle in one hand and their other hand joined, they jointly lit the tall center candle on the altar. Smiling at each other, they returned their candles to the top of the aisle. Turning to face each other once again, the minister pronounced them husband and wife. Urs took Siobhan into his arms and kissed her passionately as the lights came up in the sanctuary.

As soon as the wedding party had returned to the back of the hall, Siobhan and Urs hugged and kissed them all, thanking them for all they had done. Soon the guest had filed out, each taking a moment to congratulate the happy couple. After the photographer had finished the photographs, Carlos, David, Sebastien and Urs toasted Siobhan at the church. In turn, Siobhan, Cyd, Dori, and Suzie toasted Urs.

As they walked out of the church to go to the reception, it was a warm clear night. The horse-drawn carriage was waiting as the couple made their way there, holding each other close. The carriage made its way slowly to the Grand Hotel for the reception. Siobhan and Urs weren’t looking at the scenery around them on the quiet streets that evening. They were too busy being looking into the others eyes and smiling.

Siobhan and Urs Reception

The others were at the Grand Hotel waiting for the carriage that Urs and Siobhan were in to arrive. As they waited, the guests continued to appear along the street as well. Soon, a subtle awe filled the evening air as the carriage arrived.

Before he stepped down, Urs took a moment to wrap his arms around Siobhan and kiss her deeply. His hand gently held her cheek as he sighed, looking lovingly into her eyes. “How did I get to be the luckiest man on earth?” He whispered softly, kissing her again. “My heart is so full, beyond anything I have ever known before. For the first time ever, time can stand still… pass me by… go on its way without me. I want this moment and our future to be this perfect… this beautiful… this special. I know it will be because I have you in my life forever. “

Kissing her forehead lightly, he stood and stepped out of the carriage to the sidewalk. He glanced at his ring, smiling to himself as it glistened in the moonlight, before he held out his arms to her. Siobhan watched him, as she tried to compose herself. Her eyes welled with tears at his words to her and the memories they had shared. As she looked at him standing there, she remembered seeing him in concert in the tuxedo he had worn then, the one he wore today. Slowly, she stood and took his hand as she stepped forward. Before she could step down, he had lifted her out of the carriage. She felt lighter than air as his hands held her, bringing her close to him, never feeling the sidewalk, not hearing the cheers of the gathering crowd. She didn’t see him wink at the carriage driver either.

Sebastien, Dori and the others gathered around the happy couple after a moment. Soon, they made their way into the hotel. The reception was in the main ballroom. Siobhan and Urs greeted their guests as the final preparations were completed. David whispered to Urs briefly before the couples took their places for their grand entrance in the same order as the wedding ceremony. As soon as they were seated, the champagne began flowing and the meal was served.

An hour later they finished eating. Urs put his arm around Siobhan’s shoulder and pulled her close. “With all that has happened today, do you remember the trip from the church to here?” He whispered softly, resting his cheek lightly to hers. Siobhan nodded, remembering his words from earlier as she closed her eyes. He smiled to himself remembering as well. “Do you remember the horses that pulled our carriage…the two dark-colored quarterhorses? “ Siobhan searched her memory briefly before shaking her head no quickly. “Perhaps this will help you…”

Siobhan followed Urs arm to the end of his fingers as he pointed toward the bay window beyond. Outside was the carriage driver, holding the reins of two dark horses, stood quietly waiting. Urs stood and helped Siobhan to her feet. They walked to the window to see them closer. “Siobhan, I’d like to introduce you to the newest additions to our family. This is Midnight’s Glow and Divine Daze or Double D for short.”

“…newest additions?...” Siobhan whispered looking from him to the horses and back. “…as in… ours?”

“Yes… ours… I thought it would make a nice addition to our new place…outside of London. It will be our Chalet Get-away. As often as we want, we can re-live our special weekend together on your Harley or on horses instead. I want that to be just for us… your bike and mine are already there. Midnight and Double D will be transported there later. Clive will look after them while we’re on our honeymoon. I want to see that look of total happiness on your face again and again. I can never tire of it. “as he handed her a small key on a brass, heart shaped keyring. “You already have the key to my heart, the keys to the flat, and now you have the key to our home… our new home. “

Siobhan’s eyes welled with tears as she hugged him close. He kissed her forehead as he wrapped his arms around her tightly. “Urs, you have given me so much already… yourself , the bike, the trip…now horses and a new home … I don’t know what to say. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough… I love you doesn’t seem like enough.”

Urs smiled, rocking her gently in his arms. “The look on your face and the love that is glowing from you are more than enough. It is I that can’t say or do enough for you. You have given me more than things that can be bought or earned in a lifetime of trying. You have given yourself to me, helped the guys and theirs openly and without hesitation, setting aside your wants for others. That is a wonderful gift that I will treasure always… something money and fame can’t buy.” He kissed her deeply as he finished.

A moment later, Clive waved to them and led the horses away. As he did so, Carlos walked up to Siobhan and Urs quietly. “I don’t want to interrupt, but there is a party going on. Sebby has something he wants to say, when you are ready.“ He patted Urs on the shoulder lightly and stepped away.

A few minutes later, Siobhan and Urs rejoined the wedding party at the table. As they sat down, Sebastien stood and walked to them, champagne glass in hand. “To Urs and Siobhan, the couple that has shown us that two flames joined to become one can light the world in a sea of brilliant warmth and caring. May the flame never waiver or vanquish. May the candle never burn at both ends, but remain as one strong warm glow to protect you from the cold and light your way to a bright and happy future together.” Sebastian raises his glass, followed by the others.

Urs stood briefly to hug him as did Siobhan before he returned to Dori’s side. The meal had been cleared away by now, so Urs and Siobhan walked over to the table to cut their wedding cake together. After the cake was cut, everyone was served.

Soon, Urs, David, Carlos and Sebastien gathered briefly beside the stage. As the lights dimmed slightly, Urs returned to Siobhan and he held out his hand. “We sang for Carlos and Cyd, and they offered to sing for us, but I wanted our first dance together today to be just you and I. I hope you don’t mind, but I chose something that expresses how you make me feel. It’s not one of Il Divo’s songs, but I think it works… and no, it is not a rock ballad either.” Siobhan stood up and followed him to the dance floor.

David picked up a microphone and said, “We’ve enjoyed the wedding, friendship, celebration, and a great meal together. Now, Mr. and Mrs. Buhler will enjoy their first dance as husband and wife. “He put the microphone down and signaled the band.

Softly, the music began as the lights dimmed again, as Urs held Siobhan close in the center of the dance floor. For them, no one else existed as Urs held her close as they danced. As the song finished, he kissed her deeply.

The rest of the evening, everyone enjoyed the music the band played. Carlos and Cyd, Dori and Sebastien, David and Suzie as well as Siobhan and Urs danced and talked together and with the guests. As midnight approached, Urs took a deep breath and nodded. David and Carlos disappeared momentarily, each returning with a quick nod to his side. He thanked each of them with a warm hug and kissed the cheek of Cyd, Dori and Suzie before he straightened his tie one last time.

Siobhan had been talking with a friend when Urs approached her. Gently, he tucked his hands around her waist and kissed her cheek. Smiling broadly, he thanked those that had come, wishing them all well. Clive waited patiently just outside the door, reins in hand. Urs picked Siobhan up in his arms and carried her to the door beside the bay window. A moment later, he had Siobhan on his lap and Midnight Glow’s reins in his hand. A quick nudge to Midnight and they were off in the darkness, riding across the courtyard to their honeymoon chalet. Clive’s son Derrick waited quietly on the other side. He helped Siobhan and Urs dismount from Midnight before disappearing into the darkness.

Urs unlocked the door to their chalet and carried Siobhan across the threshold. Still keeping her in his arms, Siobhan helped him close the door behind him, locking out the rest of the world. Moments later, they snuggled close, watching the fire in the fireplace beyond their bed. The shadows from the firelight’s glow reflected more just the flames dancing softly in the fireplace that night.

Siobhan and Urs Honeymoon

Urs and Siobhan awoke the next morning early. As they lay in each others arms, they thought about their wedding and the days to come. They wanted to bike Europe for a week. Urs had spent hours mapping out several routes they could take depending on the weather. They discussed it briefly as they snuggled, deciding what they wanted to do for their first day as husband and wife. An hour later, both were showered and enjoying a light breakfast. They decided to go to Zurich first, staying close to the RailEurope Cisalpino route most of the way. If either became too tired or they had any problems with the motorcycle, they could continue by rail to the next destination. The Motorcycle they were using was similar to the one Urs had gotten Siobhan. They checked out of the hotel and tucked the map and guidebook into one of the compartments. Siobhan’s eyes scanned the Alps beyond, knowing they would be keeping them in sight during their trip. Urs started the bike and backed it out of the parking space as Siobhan secured the strap on her helmet. Within minutes, they were on their way. As this was Urs home area, he drove so she could take in the breath-taking view.

Urs smiled to himself as he heard small gasps come from her as he had expected they would. He knew the artist in her would be taking hundreds of mental pictures along the way. As they approached Zurich, Siobhan snuggled even closer to him, hugging him close. He parked the bike close to Lake Zurich, deciding they would spend some time there. Siobhan instinctively reached for the camera she had carefully tucked into a compartment of the bike. They walked to the lake’s edge and stood quietly a moment, holding each other close. Urs kissed her softly, whispering “Now you see my homeland; now you are in my arms as my wife. What could be more beautiful?”

Siobhan wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed him deeply. “You should see what I see Urs, with the love I feel right now. A beautiful man holding me close, loving me like no other, giving me more than I thought my heart could ever hold, and yet it doesn’t burst. I appreciate the things you have bought me, I do. But it is your true self I cherish the most. That is something no amount of money can ever buy. I love you more than words can say and more than any picture I could take would ever show.“

They lingered at the waters edge for awhile longer as the sun climbed to its highest point. Then, Urs sighed kissing Siobhan’s cheek softly said, “Shall we go? I would like you to see the city. There are some places I want you to see. We can get lunch and stay here for the night or we can move on. It’s up to you.”

Siobhan nodded, still in awe of the area. She wanted to stay in the area, knowing there were many places in the city she wanted to see. Urs skillfully made his way back into the city, pointing out different places as they went along. They had their lunch al fresco before taking in the boutiques and galleries of the area. Urs spotted a music shop and Siobhan nodded, knowing he was always adding to his guitar collection. As he looked at the guitars, Siobhan wandered to another area of the shop. With the help of a clerk, she smiled, choosing her surprise carefully. As the clerk waited patiently, she wandered back to Urs, calmly asking where they were going to spend the night. He answered, still occupied with the guitars. She kissed his cheek, thanked him and returned to the clerk. After making her purchase, it was agreed that the shop would deliver it to the hotel Urs had mentioned. It would be waiting for her there. Siobhan also knew it would not be wise to keep it with them on the rest of their trip, so she also consulted the clerk about shipping. He answered her questions, confirming what she needed to know. Now it would be her turn for a great surprise. She rubbed her hands together, a gleeful grin on her face.

A few hours later, they were once again strolling through the streets of Zurich, making their way to the hotel Urs had mentioned before. Urs chose a room with a view of the lake. Minutes later, they were in their room, enjoying the view. Knowing the delivery should have been made, Siobhan suggested they both get a shower and ready for dinner. She needed to make sure everything was in place for her surprise. He nodded, kissing her forehead lightly. Siobhan showered first.

As he showered, Siobhan made the quick call to the front desk, then to Sebastien. He agreed to look for the package and take care of it until they returned. A few minutes later, she opened the door as the bellman handed her the large box, a chilled bottle of champagne and two stemmed champagne glasses. She thanked him and closed the door softly. She laid the box gently on the bed, pulled out a piece of stationary from the drawer, quickly applied her lipstick, and softly imprinted her kiss on the page. Taking a pen in her hand, she wrote” To my love with all my love, Siobhan.” She chose a rose from the vase on the far table and laid it on top of the note and box as she heard the shower stop. She knew she only had a few more minutes. Quickly, she dimmed the lights and chose some soft music. As she moved the champagne bottle and glasses around one more time, she heard the bathroom door open. Urs stepped out of the room and looked at the smile on Siobhan’s face. It was a look he hadn’t seen before.

She walked to him, still smiling and kissed him softly. Gently, she covered his eyes and whispered, “Don’t look… not yet…. Close your eyes, please. I want to share something with you. “Urs nodded. Siobhan took his hands in hers, watching his face and led him to the bed. “Ok, now you can open them.”

Urs saw the rose, the note, and the box. He looked at Siobhan, “What is this? Siobhan, what are you up to? I’m supposed to be the one with the surprises.“ He took her in his arms and kissed her.

“Open the box carefully, my love. We will need to use it again. “She whispered.

Urs looked at the note and smiled. Carefully, he opened the large box and lifted the packing paper, as his eyes widened with anticipation. Inside, lay a Tony Iommi (lead guitarist for Black Sabbath) autographed Signature SG guitar. Urs couldn’t mouth words as his hands lightly touched the guitar. Siobhan knew he liked Black Sabbath as well as other rock groups, so finding the guitar for him was something she had been trying to find for months. She turned to open the champagne and pour it as he continued to look at the guitar. He took her in his arms, spilling the champagne and kissed her.

“How did you…. Could you… find this?”He stuttered. “I…. I don’t know what to say… I’m…. I…. love you… I… love it…. I…” He kissed her again and again. Siobhan smiled contently.

Later, the guitar, still in the box, rested on the dresser beside two empty glasses and an empty bottle. Urs and Siobhan spent a quiet romantic evening in their room, together in each others arms. As the lake water reflected the quiet evening star light, they made love. In the morning, they would continue their journey across Europe.

The next morning, they awoke late. As Siobhan showered, Urs repacked the box. As he was finishing, his cell phone rang. He checked the number before answering it. “Sebastien… is everything ok?”

“Yes, we’re all fine.” Sebastien replied. “I understand you have a new…. ummm addition. I wanted to let you know that Matthew is going to be in the area, so you won’t have to ship it. Matthew can meet you at the airport and bring it back here for you… if that’s ok.”

Urs smiled. “So, Sebastien knew… he was in on this.” He said to himself.

They talked a few minutes longer after deciding on the details of when and where they would meet Matthew. As they finished, Siobhan came out of the bathroom. Urs said a quick good-bye and hung up as he turned to greet her again. He kissed her before he explained the call. They changed their plans quickly and efficiently.

Hours later, the guitar was in Matthew’s hands on its way back to London. Siobhan and Urs were back on the highway, headed for Germany, then France. At each place they stopped, Siobhan and Urs enjoyed the area and each other. As the days passed, they became closer than they had ever been.

The last night of their honeymoon, they stayed in Paris. The rented motorcycle had been turned in and they would fly back to London in the morning. To celebrate this last evening together, Urs and Siobhan dressed elegantly for an evening in the city. Urs had arranged for fresh clothes to be waiting at their hotel earlier that week. Before they went out for the evening, he took Siobhan into his arms. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small gray felt box.

He whispered to her, opening the box “You may have thought you had the last surprise, my love. I know it isn’t red, my favorite color, but I wanted it to still be special. The first day we spent on our honeymoon I saw your eyes as we stood by the lake with the Alps in the distance. I wanted this to reflect how special you made me feel then and now. Blue for the water, white for the mountain tops kissed with snow.” Siobhan saw the beautiful necklace he had chosen for her days before.

Siobhan gasped and smiled as she touched the pendant lightly. She kissed him, whispering, “yes… it is… and it will be very special as it is from you and it represents a part of you. Thank you.” Carefully, he undid the clasp as she turned around. A moment later, it was in place as Siobhan looked in the mirror as tears welled in her eyes. Urs hugged her and softly kissed her neck.

They dined and sipped champagne as they watched the skyline beyond. Later they slow danced at a nightclub, content to be in each others arms. In the early hours of the morning, they returned to their suite. He carefully unzipped her cream colored gown, letting it fall lightly to the floor. She stepped out of it, sliding out of the matching pumps in one fluid motion. Soon, they snuggled together in bed, recounting the memories they had shared that week. Both looked forward to their return to London, not to the city, but to their new home. They drifted off to sleep some hours later.

DORI AND CYD'S BABY SHOWER

WRITTEN BY JJ (BASSYBEARFAN)
BABY SHOWER FOR DORI AND CYD

Sebastien and Dori were happy together, they had their upcoming wedding on the way and the twin’s birth to look forward to. soon their life together would be complete. Carlos and Cyd were also very happy together. They loved each other to the depths of their souls and were overjoyed to find out that the ultrasound had revealed they were going to be the parents of a beautiful baby girl.

Sebastien and Carlos had talked and wanted to do something special for the loves of their lives and had come up with the idea of a baby shower. They had decided that since they were having girls that there should only be girls there, so they were going to go out for a few hours.

Sebastien knew that his sister Amanda wanted to have the opportunity to spend some time with Dori before the wedding and participate in getting to know her nieces right from the start. He had discussed his and Carlos idea with her and she was thrilled to be asked to play the role as hostess. Carlos had also spoken in confidence to Siobhan and Suzie, who thought it was a fantastic idea, and said they would be honored to help. Mathew, Amanda’s husband and Sebastien’s brother in law, was also one of the pilots for the divos. He too had been asked to also play a role in the surprise, to which he was delighted. He didn’t know Dori well but knew that she made Sebastien very happy and wanted to do all he could to help.

On the day of the shower, the whole gang had come together and sat around talking. Dori and Cyd had no idea about what was to happen.

“So, how are the two couples having babies?” asked Suzie, grinning at her cousin and loving the happy glow of pregnancy that suited Dori so well.

“We are fine, Suzie. Soon you and David will have a little bundle of joy of your own and join the ranks of holy matrimony too. It won’t be long now.” Dori answered, returning Suzie’s smile.

“Yes, I know, and I am looking forward to been his wife very much. I love him, and I am so glad that soon I will be Mrs. David Miller. ” Suzie said, looking at David with a look in her eyes that was only for him.

“I am so happy being married to my wonderful Carlos and the soon to be mother of our little rose petal.” Cyd said, putting her hand to her stomach and gently patting the ever increasing baby bump with love.

Siobhan smiled as she wrapped her arms around Urs waist as he hugged her close. The look of love between them was soft and warm as she lightly rested her head on his shoulder.

“Have you decided what you are going to call her yet?” Dori asked, patting her own baby bump and feeling Seb slide his fingers across hers. She turned to him and he looked deep in her eyes and she could see there pools of everlasting love that was only for her. She sighed, leaning her head back against his chest and feeling his heartbeat.

“We have decided on the name Leila Elena Marin. Do you like it?” Cyd asked, smiling at everyone, her hand still to her stomach.

“Oh yes, it is lovely, it is unusual and exotic… like she will be.” Suzie said. Everyone agreed it was a gorgeous name.

Sebastien had the idea that while he and Carlos took Dori and Cyd out to Harrods to pick out baby clothes followed by a little flight (which is where Mathew comes in) that would give Siobhan, Suzie and Amanda time to set up some food and drink and of course, the babies things. Everyone had agreed it was the perfect plan and Dori and Cyd would not suspect a thing.

“Ok Cyd, get your coat and gloves on. We are taking a little trip to Harrods’s to pick out some clothes for the baby,” Carlos said, standing and helping Cyd to her feet.

“Yes, my love… you too. We are also going to pick out some clothes for the girls,” Seb'astien said, helping Dori to stand. Dori and Cyd looked at each other in amazement.

“But what about everyone else that’s here? We all got together to talk. It is rude to leave now that everyone is here.” Dori said, looking around and seeing everyone smiling.

“Don’t worry about us. We are fine here and will chat and catch up while you have a grand time looking at things for the babies,” David said, grinning.

Everyone waved them off. When the two couples were all seated comfortably in the back of the limo, they talked excitedly about the babies and what they would buy. They arrived at Harrods and the guys helped them to step from the limo. As they walked through the doors, a few of the fans recognized them and came up for autographs, but no one else bothered them at all.

They walked to where the baby clothes were situated. Dori had asked Sebastien when they would start to buy some items for the nursery. He had replied that they would spend a full day at Harrods’s if she wished, looking and buying what she wanted for the nursery. Smiling, she had said they were both parents of the babies and would pick things out together. Carlos had told Cyd the same thing, so that they would not suspect a thing. Dori saw a little set of overalls that she thought were perfect and picked out 2 sets, and Cyd saw a gorgeous little pink dress, and knew she had to have it. They spent 2 hours in Harrods’s and when they came out they had 6 big bags of baby clothes each. Sebastien and Carlos had picked out some of the clothes as well, and all were happy with the purchases they had made.
