Bonsoir,
Now I know how the guys must feel when they are on tour and goes from concert to concert! Went to Paris on April 8th and was home April 10th!!!
Paris was the last Il Divo concert for me (for now) and I cannot believe that it is over already. Have never been to Paris before so I was pretty exicted when I boarded the plane. Met up with Yannic at Gare du Nord and we took a taxi to your hotel. The hotel was near Le Zenith but far from the center of Paris and all the wellknown sights... which meant that I would not be able to see the Eiffel Tower. It turned out to be closed due to a strike
Met up with Caroline and Patricia, two French members of the French Team for a drink before dinner. They stayed at the same hotel. We are later joined by 3 other members of the French team. The dinner was very enjoyable and the waiter was a real charmer
Woke up early and the weather looked grey and cloudy. I had to call my mum and sing happy birthday to her before Yannic and I left the room to have breakfast with Caroline and Patricia.
Le Zenith is situated in Parc de la Villette - a huge park with huge sculptures. After walking around and having lunch we went back to Zenith and waited for the guys to turn up. The sun was now shining from a clear blue sky.
The first to arrive was David … could’nt see it was him until he got out of the car and waved before the gate was closed. Urs was next… could’nt see him either but I belive what Ubers told me
) Then Sébastien came. He drove the car and as soon as he had parked the car he came to the gate and talked with us and signing autographs. I had my Libre cover with me and I asked Yannic if she could get Sebástien to sign it and he did  It was getting late and we had to go back to the hotel and get changed. Sébastien comes out to once more just as we are about to leave. He looks up and smiles :Faint: and waves when he hears us call out his name.
The concert was delayed almost an hour don't know why!
It was heartwarming to see how the French audience greeted the guys and especially Sébastien... they are really proud of him.
- Sébastien introduced David as Carlos. David could'nt help laughing and neither could the rest of us
- Sébastien did the end of LVSA and he even moved his hips like in the good ole days.
- David introduced Caruso in French but choked on the words... he laughed said "wait a moment", closed his eyes and nodded his head and then did the introduction perfectly, Go David
- No "did you miss me" from Carlos
Audience gave long and standing ovations after Senza Catene and Adagio…The guys looked amazed and did’nt quite know what to do.
All too soon the concert was over and we were rushed out of the Zenith
My Olympus camera finally decided to take decent pics but off course the batteries died before LVSA... when will I ever learn.
