Millones de discos vendidos, conciertos alrededor de todo el mundo… no hay persona en el planeta hoy en día que no reconozca el nombre de Il Divo. Este cuarteto de artistas ha logrado que las canciones populares suenen a ritmo de ópera y que el género, hasta entonces reservado a los teatros, llegue a recintos más populares. Después de tres años de silencio (en 2008 sacaron The promise y en 2009 En Barcelona, un CD grabado en directo en uno de sus conciertos), esta Navidad regresan con el mejor regalo: Wicked Game. Un LP con material inédito en el que se incluyen, entre otras, Don’t cry for me Argentina, Senza Parole y el tema de Chris Isaak que da título al trabajo.

El fenómeno que supuso su aparición continúa fortaleciéndose con los años y no hay concierto en el que no logren colgar el cartel de no hay entradas. La promoción del álbum, que sale a la venta el próximo día 28 de noviembre, pasa ahora por México, donde han vuelto a levantar pasiones. En tierras aztecas, han asegurado que admiran profundamente a una de sus voces más conocidas Luis Miguel y que no les importaría grabar música mexicana algún día. “Nos han propuesto grabar música mexicana, aún no está contemplado, pero si por mí fuera, ya hubiéramos hecho un álbum con canciones de Juan Gabriel. Por lo pronto, en el nuevo show podríamos incluir Granada, que es un corte mexicano”, dijo el español Carlos Marín.

En España tendremos que esperar hasta el 26 de abril, en Barcelona, y el 27 de abril, en Madrid, para verles en directo. De momento podemos conformarnos con este adelanto.

After 3 years of silence (in 2008 they released The promise and in 2009 in Barcelona, a live cd of their concert), this christmas they come back with the best gift: Wicked Game. A CD with inedited material that includes, among others, Dont Cry for me Argentina, Senza Parole and Chris Isaaks song that gives the work(cd) the title.

The phenomenon that marked their appearance continues to strengthen over the years and their is no concert where they dont manage to hang up a "sold out" poster on. THe promotion of the album, that goes on sale the 28th of november, is now in Mexico, where they have again managed to rise the passions. In the azteca land, they have ensured that they admire one of their voices most known Luis Miguel and that they wouldnt mind recording mexican music someday. "They have asked us to record mexican music, but yet its not covered/final, but in my opinion, we would have already done an album with songs from Juan Gabriel. But for now, in the new show we could include Granada, which is a Mexican court" Said the spanish Carlos Marin.
