“What time is it?” Isabel asked as her hand played with Séb’s chest hair.
“Almost time to get ready for dinner.” Séb replied, letting out a sigh.
They had spent most of the day in bed, showing how much they loved each other. Séb had a weird feeling that Isabel wasn’t sure about his feelings for her, and he wasn’t sure of how to convince her that he really did love her. He knew that he never wanted to be without her, but her reaction to the scene at the airport made him wonder if it was possible for him to keep her in his life. When Isabel found out about his past, she told him that she didn’t care about his past. So where was this coming from?
“Do you doubt my feelings for you?” Séb turned onto his side and looked at her.
“No, I don’t doubt that you love me. You’ve proved that to me a lot of times.” Isabel said as she touched his cheek.
“Then what is it?” Séb asked her.
“I don’t know. Guess I just have to get used to all of these women being around you.” Isabel said without looking at him.
“Are you jealous, Miss Carrington?” Séb touched her face.
“No, I am not jealous.” Isabel replied.
“Yes, you are but you have no reason to be. I love you, and I won’t let you go. You are stuck with me, Miss Carrington.” Séb kissed her softly.
After spending a few more minutes in bed, Séb and Isabel got ready for dinner. The others were already downstairs waiting for them, when they came down. They were shown into a private section and they sat down and enjoyed an evening with friends. Carlos and Larissa told their friends about the pregnancy, and everyone was happy for them. They also talked about the concerts so far, and how great it was to be back on stage. All of the guys were talking to each other and they seemed to be getting along off the stage too.
After dinner, the couples said their goodnights and went to their rooms to get a good night’s sleep.
David woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. He looked at Mary who was still sleeping before slowly getting out of bed.
“I hope this is important, Simon.” David said as he answered the phone.
“It is important. I’ve send you an email, and I want you to read it as soon as possible.” Simon said with anger in his voice.
“What is going on?” David asked.
“Just read the email and call me back.” Simon hung up the phone.
David stared at the phone in his hand and he wasn’t sure what had just happened. Simon hadn’t even said goodbye before he hung up, and that was not like him. He walked back into the bedroom where Mary was now awake. She looked at him and knew that something wasn’t right. David walked over to the bed and sat down next to her.
“That was Simon on the phone. He wanted me to check my emails. Something is up. Why don’t you get ready for breakfast while I read my emails?” David smiled.
“As you wish.” Mary kissed him before heading into the bathroom.
David took out his laptop and checked his email. He couldn’t believe what he saw. There was small article about Séb with a picture of him and Isabel holding hands at the airport. But that was not the only picture. There was also a picture of Séb and the woman at the airport. David’s eyes scanned the article, and he didn’t like what he read:
Sébastien Izambard of Il Divo has been seen in Heathrow Airport holding hands with a mystery woman but thanks to an anonymous source we can now tell you that the woman in the picture is Isabel Carrington, tour manager of Il Divo and niece of Simon Cowell. However, it seems like one woman is not enough for Mr. Izambard as he has been spotted in Sweden hugging another woman and they seem to know each other really well as you can see by the picture below. We haven’t been able to talk to Mr. Izambard and Miss Carrington about this but according to our source, Miss Carrington is very upset about this other woman and is planning to quit her job. Our reporter is now in Sweden and he will try to get comments from Mr. Izambard and Miss Carrington.
“What is wrong, Miller?” Mary asked as she came out of the bathroom.
“I will tell you later when the others are around. This concerns two of them.” David said before going into the bathroom.
David and Mary left their room half an hour later to join their friends for breakfast. As they reached the reception area David told Mary to start without him as he had something to take care of. As soon as Mary had left, David talked to the girl at the reception and asked her if she could print something for him. She knew that it would cause her problems if anyone found out, but it seemed to be really important so she did as he asked.
Soon after, he walked into the private dining area to find Isabel, Séb and Mary talking. There was no sign of the others yet, so David decided to keep quiet until they arrived. Carlos arrived alone as Larissa wasn’t feeling well. Jewel and Urs came shortly after, and Belle wanted to sit with Isabel. As soon as they were all seated, David took out the article and held it in his hand. He didn’t know how to begin, and he wasn’t sure how they would react to this article.
“What’s wrong, David?” Séb asked him.
“Simon called me earlier and told me to check my email. He wanted us to see this article.” David said and handed Séb the article.
“What is it about?” Carlos asked.
Séb read what the article said, and everyone was shocked to hear what was in the article. Isabel didn’t say anything, and the others were trying to figure out who could be behind this. Séb kept staring at the article in his hand, and he noticed the name of the reporter; Mitchell Sanders. It was the same reporter who had interviewed him about his relationship with Jewel. Séb closed his eyes and his mind drifted back to the consequences of that interview.
“Are you ok, Séb?” Urs asked him.
“This reporter, Mitchell Sanders, is the same reporter who interviewed me the last time.” Séb looked at his friends.
“The one from The Tattletell Gazette?” Urs asked him.
“Yes.” Séb replied as he looked at the paper in his hand.
He could only think of one person who would want to ruin his relationship with Isabel, but Gerald had not been in Sweden. Séb looked at Isabel and he could see in her eyes that she was thinking the same thing as him.
“At least now I know why everyone was whispering when I walked into the reception area.” Isabel finally spoke up.
“What?” Jewel asked as she looked between Isabel and Séb.
“When Séb and I walked through the reception area, people were whispering as they looked at us.” Isabel let out a sigh.
“I’m sorry for putting you through this, Isabel. Seems like no matter what I do, someone gets hurt.” Séb took her hand in his.
“It’s not your fault, Séb. I knew about your past and I allowed myself to fall in love with you. I knew what I was getting myself into.” Isabel smiled at him.
“Don’t worry. I will make an announcement today, and hopefully that will stop all of these lies.” Séb kissed her hand.
The others looked at Séb and Isabel, and they knew that the love between them was strong and if they could get through this, they could get through anything. They changed the subject and talked about the plans for the day. They wanted to do some sightseeing before the soundcheck, and they agreed to go out after breakfast. As they sat there talking, Séb’s phone started ringing.
“Hello, Simon.” Séb said as he answered it.
“I assume you’ve read the article, and that’s why I am calling you. I’ve arranged for a press conference at your hotel at 10 am.” Simon told him.
“Thank you, Simon.” Séb said to him.
“No problem. I will talk to you later. Goodbye.” Simon hung up the phone.
“What did he want?” Urs asked him.
“We have a press conference at 10 am. Well, Isabel and I have a press conference, but I want you guys to be there too.” Séb said.
“We will be there. This concerns all of us.” David said to him.
“Thank you. I think we should get ready for the interview.” Séb looked at Isabel.
“I am ready.” Isabel said with a smile.
They all left the restaurant and were met by the hotel manager who showed them all into the conference room. Séb took Isabel’s hand as they sat down. He wanted to show those reporters that he was very much in love with Isabel and had no intention of cheating on her. One by one the reporters entered the room and one of them caught Séb’s attention. It was the guy from The Tattletell Gazette, Mitchell Sanders.
Mitchell looked at Séb with a wicked smile, and Séb had a bad feeling about this interview. Séb wanted to cancel the conference but he wanted to settle this once and for all. He owed it to himself and Isabel to tell everyone that he was in love with Isabel. As soon as all of the reporters were seated, it was time to start the press conference. Séb looked at his friends and Isabel and took a deep breath before he opened the press conference.
“As you all know Simon Cowell asked for this press conference, and I think we should start with questions as I am sure you have a lot.” Séb said.
“Isabel, it has come to our attention that you’re in a relationship with Sébastien. How did you two meet?” Diana Mason, another reporter, asked.
“We met on a cruise ship in Hawaii. I was a crew member on board the ship and Séb was a passenger.” Isabel replied with a smile.
“Did you know who he was?” Diana asked.
“No, I didn’t know he was a member of Il Divo. He was just Sébastien Izambard to me. Uncle Simon told me about Il Divo and I’ve heard them sing but never really paid any attention to names or looks.” Isabel replied.
“I’m Mitchell Sanders from The Tattletell Gazette. According to my source you dumped your boyfriend of 3 years to be with Sébastien. Is that true?” Mitchell asked her.
“No, I was single when I met Sébastien. You’re the reporter who did that article. Well, now I know who your source is and everything he told you is a lie. Your source was my boss on the cruise ship, and he did what he could to make my life miserable. Did he tell you that he has been stalking me? Or that he came on to my aunt at their first meeting? Did he tell you that he punched Séb on the cruise?” Isabel asked Mitchell.
“No, he didn’t tell me that but that is really not important here. What is important is that Séb is obviously cheating on you with other women. Like the woman at the airport here in Sweden.” Mitchell replied.
“I am not cheating on Isabel. The woman at the airport is an old friend, and there is nothing going on with me and her. I love Isabel, and I will never cheat on her. Your source is only saying these things because he is in love with Isabel.” Séb told him.
Mitchell could see the anger in Séb’s eyes, and he didn’t know what to say. Had Gerald been lying to him about Séb and Isabel? Well, he didn’t know what to think right now, so he decided to keep quiet for the rest of the press conference.
“There is a rumor that you are quitting your job with Il Divo. Is that true?” another reporter asked.
“No, I have no intention of quitting my job. I love being a tour manager.” Isabel replied with a smile.
The press conference lasted about 15 minutes and then it was time for some sightseeing. The Divos and their partners left the hotel and had a great time until the guys had to leave for the soundcheck. Isabel and the girls walked back to the hotel, and they had a great time until Isabel had to leave for the venue. She knew the crew knew what they were doing, but she still wanted to make sure that everything was perfect for the concert.
When Isabel arrived at the venue, the guys were still doing the soundcheck. After listening to them for a few minutes, she walked towards Séb’s dressing room and dropped off her bag before she had to go over the venue. As she walked out of Séb’s dressing room, the guys came down to relax before they had to get dressed for the concert. Séb stopped Isabel from leaving by standing in her way, and no matter what she did, he wouldn’t move.
“Would you mind getting out of my way? I have to check the venue to make sure everything is ok.” Isabel said to him.
“I don’t want you to leave.” He said as he took a step towards her.
“I don’t have time for this. I have a job to do.” Isabel told him.
“Ok, you can leave on one condition.” Séb said with a smile.
“Ok, name it!” Isabel said.
“You will be back here as soon as you’re done checking the venue.” Séb pulled her close.
“It’s a deal.” Isabel kissed him.
Isabel left the dressing room and met with John who had to go over the venue with her. It took about 15 minutes to check everything, and Isabel returned to Séb’s dressing room. As soon as she walked through the door, Séb pulled her into his arms and kissed her. Séb deepened the kiss but Isabel pulled away from him. She knew what he wanted to do but this wasn’t the time or place for that.
“You have to get dressed for the concert.” Isabel told him.
“I know.” Séb let out a sigh.
“Maybe I should change first. Would you mind leaving?” Isabel told him.
Séb looked at her briefly before leaving the dressing room. He knew that being in there with Isabel would be a bad idea, but he would have his revenge after the concert. Isabel opened the door and let him inside to change before she left the dressing room. As Séb was getting dressed, Isabel met the other girls at the entrance. They found their seats and waited for the guys to go on stage. The musicians arrived on stage and shortly after the music started playing, the guys appeared on stage. Séb stepped forward and made people laugh when he tried to speak Swedish.
“I know it wasn’t perfect but I tried my best. Before we move on I have something to say. I think it’s time for me to tell you that I am in a relationship with our tour manager, Isabel Carrington. Sorry, ladies but the last Divo is off the market. Ok, now it’s time to start the concert. We hope you enjoy it.” Séb said to the fans.
The fans seemed to take Séb’s announcement really well, and a big applause went through the venue. As usual the fans were dancing and singing, and everyone was having a great time. It was a great concert as always, and the guys were happy when they left the stage. The girls waited for the guys to come out, and they all went back to the hotel to get something to eat.
They didn’t stay at the restaurant for long as they had to leave for Paris the next day. It would be Isabel’s first visit in Paris and she was a bit nervous because Séb had arranged for her to meet his mom. The girls had told Isabel that Séb’s mom only wanted the best for her son, and it would take a lot for a girl to be accepted by her. Knowing that she might not be accepted by Séb’s mom made her even more nervous, and Séb knew something was bothering her.
“What’s wrong? You seem nervous.” Séb asked Isabel as they were in bed.
“The girls told me about your mom. I’m just afraid that she won’t like me.” Isabel told him.
“She will love you. Trust me on this.” Séb pulled her close.
“I hope so. I forgot to say thank you for what you did at the concert.” Isabel said.
“I’m sorry for not doing it earlier. I love you and I hope you know that.” Séb looked into her eyes.
“I know, and I love you too.” She smiled at him.
Séb pulled her even closer and started kissing her. They made love slowly until sleep caught up with them.

*Paris - City of Love*
It was late in the afternoon when the Divos and their partners checked in at the hotel in Paris. The girls couldn’t wait to go shopping but that would have to wait until the next day. Sébastien was happy to be back in the city of love and he couldn’t wait to walk the streets of Paris with Isabel by his side. Sadly, they didn’t have much time to go sightseeing this time, but he made a promise to himself to bring Isabel back to Paris after the tour.
Isabel and Séb walked into their suite and Isabel kicked off her shoes before walking into the bedroom to change into something more comfortable. After getting changed, she walked over to the window and Séb watched her closely without saying anything. He knew she was worried about meeting his mom and it was impossible for him to convince her that she wasn’t that bad. She just wanted the best for her son and she wanted to see him happy.
Séb walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her as he kissed her neck. He was convinced that his mom would love Isabel because they were actually very much alike. They were both stubborn, and both of them knew what they wanted. The two women in his life had more in common than they knew, and he couldn’t wait for them to meet. He looked at his watch and they still had half an hour before they had to get dressed.
“I think we need to talk before we leave.” Séb said to Isabel.
“That sounds serious.” Isabel turned around and looked at him.
“It is serious. My mom doesn’t know about my past and I prefer to keep it that way, at least for now.” Séb said to her.
“Why haven’t you told her?” Isabel asked him.
“Because she thinks that I am the perfect son. She thought that Lindsey and I were the perfect couple.” Séb replied.
“Does she know about Belle?” Isabel wanted to know.
“No, she doesn’t. I haven’t told her because I might be the biological dad, but I don’t think of Belle as my daughter. If my mom knew about Belle, she would want to get to know her and I can’t let that happen.” Séb replied.
“You have to tell her. Maybe not now, but at some point you have to tell your mom the truth.” Isabel told him.
“I know that. Just promise me that you won’t say a word about my past tonight.” Séb looked at Isabel.
“I promise.” Isabel touched his cheek.
“Merci, Cherie.” Séb said before kissing her softly.
“Do you want to cuddle on the bed before we have to get ready?” Isabel asked as her hands started to unbutton his shirt.
“Cuddling sounds great but I have something else in mind, Miss Carrington.” Séb replied as he picked her up and carried her over to the bed.
After showing how much they loved each other, Isabel and Séb got ready for dinner with Séb’s mom.Jewel & Urs
Jewel came out of the bathroom and found Urs sleeping on the bed with Belle resting on his chest. It was a perfect father-daughter moment and Jewel didn’t have the heart to wake him up, so she walked into the living room, grabbed a magazine and sat down on the couch. When Urs woke up about an hour later, he put Belle in her crib before walking into the living room.
“Is Belle still sleeping?” Jewel asked him as he sat down next to her on the couch.
“Yes, she is. I put her in her crib.” he replied as he took her hand.
“Good. It was really a beautiful moment, seeing the two of you sleeping.” Jewel told him with a smile.
“Did you take a pic?” Urs asked.
“No, I didn’t. I was afraid that it would wake her up.” Jewel replied.
“That’s ok. Do you think Larissa and Carlos would like to babysit tonight?” Urs asked with a smile.
“I’m sure they would but why?” Jewel looked at him.
“Well, we are in the city of love and I want to take you out to dinner. Maybe we can take a look at Paris by night.” Urs said.
“That sounds wonderful. I can’t wait.” Jewel kissed his cheek.
“Good. I will talk to Carlos.” Urs picked up his phone and dialed Carlos’ number.Larissa & Carlos
Carlos was on the phone with Urs when Larissa came out of the bedroom. She had been resting since they arrived at the hotel and she was still a bit tired, but she didn’t want to miss out on a chance to be with her husband. Larissa smiled at him as she walked over to the couch and sat down. Shortly after, Carlos joined her on the couch and he had a smile on his face.
“That was Urs. He asked us to babysit tonight and I said yes. I hope it is ok with you.” Carlos said to her.
“Of course it is ok with me. Guess that means we are ordering room service tonight.” Larissa said.
“Yes, and you can have anything you want.” Carlos kissed her softly.
“Great.” Larissa said as she snuggled up to Carlos.
“How are you feeling?” Carlos asked Larissa.
“I’m great. A little tired, but I guess that’s normal with the pregnancy and travelling.” Larissa said to him.
“Hopefully you will be able to stay with me until we go back to London and finish the tour there.” Carlos said.
“I hope so too, but I don’t want to think about that now. Let’s wait and see what happens.” Larissa said to him.
“You’re right. Time will tell.” Carlos said as he pulled her close.Mary & David
Mary and David were in the suite looking at wedding magazines. David would be busy with the tour, but he still wanted to help Mary with the planning. Planning a wedding was harder than they thought, but it would be worth it in the end.
“Are you going shopping with the girls tomorrow?” David asked her as she was looking at dresses.
“Yes, I am. We need dresses for the awards show, and I was thinking of looking at wedding dresses too.” Mary replied with a smile.
“That sounds like a good idea and you will have the girls there to help you.” David said.
“I know. I was thinking of blue dresses for the girls, and maybe grey suits for you guys.” Mary told him.
“I like that idea. It will be the perfect wedding, and I can’t wait until you become my wife.” David flashed his smile at her.
“And I can’t wait to become Mrs. David Miller.” Mary smiled back at him.
“What do you want to do tonight? Go out to dinner or stay here?” David asked.
“I want to stay here if you don’t mind.” Mary replied.
“I don’t mind at all.” David pulled her into his arms and kissed her deeply.
Isabel & Séb
“This is your mom’s house?” Isabel asked as Séb stopped the car.
“No, I just stopped the car in front of a stranger’s house.” Séb teased her.
“I’m not even going to comment on that.” Isabel said.
They got out of the car and walked hand in hand to the door. Isabel was nervous and she tried hard not to show it, but Séb could feel it. He squeezed her hand softly before he opened the door and walked inside. It was a small house but it was really cozy and Isabel felt at home. Séb helped Isabel with her coat before he took off his own coat and hung it on the coatrack. Isabel took a deep breath as Séb reached for her hand. He smiled at her before he led her into the kitchen where his mom was cooking.
Séb held Isabel’s hand as he announced that they had arrived. Juliette Izambard turned around and a big smile appeared on her face as she saw them standing there. Séb walked over to her and kissed her cheeks before introducing her to Isabel. Isabel wanted to run away when Juliette walked over to her, but Juliette hugged her and welcomed her into the family. Juliette told Séb to give Isabel a tour of the house before dinner was served, and he did as she said.
“What do you think of her?” Séb asked Isabel as they walked around the house.
“She is a wonderful person.” Isabel said with a smile.
“Well, I told you so. She loves you, but not as much as I do.” Séb said and kissed her.
The kiss was interrupted by Juliette who announced that dinner was ready. Séb and Isabel joined Juliette in the dining room and they had a great time talking and laughing. Juliette wanted to know about Isabel and her life, and she listened as Isabel told her everything from her childhood up until now. Séb watched the two women in his life and a smile appeared on his face. They were getting along great and he couldn’t believe how lucky he was to have these two women in life.
While Séb and Isabel were having a good time with Séb’s mom, Jewel and Urs were having dinner at one of Paris’ finest restaurants. Urs wanted to enjoy his private time with Jewel and he had asked for a table in a remote part of the restaurant. They were enjoying their dinner and after dinner, they went for a walk in Paris. It was a beautiful evening and the two lovebirds walked hand in hand through the streets of Paris, sharing small kisses as they walked.
They ended up in front of the Effiel Tower all lit up at night, it was so beautiful with the fountain in all the beautiful colors. This was the place dreams were made of. Jewel could see why Seb loved his home town it was full of Romance.
When she looked into Urs's eyes she could see all his love for her there, they kissed as they had never kissed before. As they held hands they headed back to the hotel.
Back at the hotel, David and Mary had finished their dinner and they continued with the planning of their wedding. Mary wanted to plan as much as possible now and her list was getting longer by the minute. She wanted everything to be perfect on their big day and she knew that David felt the same way. They didn’t agree on everything but with a few compromises from both of them, the wedding would be perfect.
Both Carlos and Larissa were having a good time babysitting Belle. She had been so easy to take care of and as Larissa watched Belle sleep, she couldn’t wait to have her own baby. Carlos walked into the room and saw Larissa by Belle’s bed. He smiled as he walked over to her.
“What are you thinking of, querida?” Carlos asked as he put his arm around Larissa.
“I was just wondering how Séb can’t feel anything for her. She is so adorable.” Larissa looked at him.
“Hopefully his feelings towards her will change but there is nothing we can do. Belle is adorable and our baby will be just as adorable. Just imagine having a copy of me running around.” Carlos laughed.
“Do you think the world is ready for that?” Larissa smiled at him.
“I’m not sure. Guess we just have to wait and see. I really don’t care if our baby is a boy or a girl. What is important is that the baby is healthy and will be loved.” Carlos replied, pulling Larissa close.
“I can’t wait to meet our baby.” Larissa looked at him.
“Same here.” Carlos kissed her.
Their kiss was interrupted by a knock on the door. It was Urs who came to pick up Belle. They talked for a few minutes before Urs left with Belle in his arms. She was still sleeping when he returned to their room, and he gently placed her in her crib before climbing into bed. He needed a good night’s sleep as tomorrow would be another day with soundcheck and concert before they headed back to London for the awards. But not before he shared love with this woman that filled his heart with so much love. He would never know what his life would have been like, if she had not come into his life. Belle and Jewel were his love and life. As Jewel laid in his arms, he drifted off to sleep; dreaming of the future with his small family and hopefully the future child that they would conceive together.

The Divos and their partners left the hotel after breakfast to do some sightseeing. The girls needed new dresses for the awards and the Divos wanted to spend some time with them before they had to go to the soundcheck later. All of the Divos wanted to enjoy Paris with their loved ones and they decided to split up as soon as the girls had gotten their dresses. Séb was the guide and it didn’t take long for them to find a dress store and about 20 minutes later, the girls had their dresses. They had asked the sales lady to send the dresses to their hotel as they didn’t want to carry them all over Paris.
After leaving the store, they grabbed a cup of coffee at a nearby café before splitting up. They agreed to meet at the same café at noon to have some lunch. Séb wanted to show Isabel his favorite places in Paris and he never let go of her as they walked around in Paris.
“So, what do you think of Paris?” Séb asked as they sat down on a bench by the Eiffel Tower.
“I love it. I wish I could stay here forever.” She replied with a smile.
“Come with me.” Séb said as he reached for her hand.
“Where are we going?” Isabel asked as she put her hand in his.
“You will see.” Séb smiled as he pulled her up.
He took her to a garage building where his car was being stored and shortly after, they were on their way. Isabel wanted to know where they were going but Séb wanted it to be a surprise. He pulled up in front of a country house and Isabel wondered why he stopped there. Séb looked at her with a smile before getting out of the car. Isabel got out too and she just stood there, not knowing what to do. Why did he take her to this place?
“What do you think, Cherie?” Séb asked.
“It’s beautiful, Séb but what are we doing here?” Isabel questioned as she looked at him.
“I’m glad you think so. Come with me.” Séb took her hand and they walked up to the front door.
“What are you doing, Séb? You can’t just go up there and knock on the door.” Isabel said to him.
“Yes, I can.” He said with a smile and knocked on the door.
Isabel wanted to run away as they were waiting for someone to open the door. She couldn’t believe that he had the nerve to knock on the door of a stranger’s house. Suddenly the door was opened by a young woman and a smile appeared on her face when she saw Séb.
“This is a nice surprise, Sébastien. What are you doing here?” the woman asked him.
“Well, I wanted to show Isabel this place.” Séb replied as he looked at Isabel.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Isabel. I’m Danielle, Séb’s cousin on his father’s side.” Danielle said.
“I didn’t know he had a cousin but it’s a pleasure to meet you too.” Isabel smiled at her.
“Come on in. Michel is in the garden with Louis.” Danielle said and stepped aside.
As soon as Isabel and Séb stepped inside the house, Isabel felt so at home. The place was really cozy and beautiful and Isabel felt sad that she wasn’t living there. After closing the door, Danielle led them into the garden where her husband was playing in the pool with their son.
“I didn’t think you had time to visit this time.” Michel said as he saw Sébastien.
“Did you really think that I would come to France and not visit my family?” Séb asked him.
“No, but you are busy with Il Divo and other things.” Michel said as he looked at Isabel.
“Don’t call my girlfriend a thing. Isabel, meet Michel.” Séb said with a smile.
“It’s nice to meet you.” Isabel said.
“The pleasure is all mine.” Michel said as he got out of the pool.
“Look at me, uncle Séb.” Louis said before diving.
“You’re getting better all the time.” Séb said with a smile when Louis returned to the surface.
“He spends most of his spare time in the pool. I’ll get you something to drink.” Danielle said.
“I will help you.” Isabel said and walked inside with Danielle.
As Danielle and Isabel were getting drinks, Michel and Séb were talking. Michel was happy to see that Séb had found someone else to love after Lindsey had dumped him and it was obvious to see that Séb was in love with Isabel. Whenever he mentioned her name, his eyes were sparkling and he couldn’t say her name without a smile on his face.
In the kitchen, the two women were talking too. Danielle wanted to know everything about Isabel and how they met and she wasn’t surprised when Isabel told her how annoying Séb had been on the cruise. After finishing the drinks, they walked outside and sat down. Isabel was still in awe about this place and some day she wanted a place just like this.
“So, have you decided when you’re taking over this place?” Michel asked him.
“No, I haven’t.” Séb replied.
“Taking over?” Isabel asked, looking at Séb.
“Well, this is actually my house. My grandmother left it for me when she died but I don’t have time to live here right now, so I decided to let Danielle and Michel live her.” Séb replied.
“This is your house?” Isabel asked, not sure she had heard him right.
“Yes, this is my house.” Séb said with a smile.
“You are full of surprises, Séb.” Isabel smiled back at him.
“Are you staying for lunch?” Danielle asked them.
“We are meeting the others for lunch but thanks. Speaking of that, we have to get going.” Séb said.
They said goodbye to Michel, Danielle and Louis and drove back to Paris. Isabel couldn’t believe that Séb had such a beautiful house and she hoped that someday she would be living there with him. She knew it might not be more than a dream but there was nothing wrong with dreaming.
As they arrived at the café, the others were already there. They had a great time talking and laughing, and it seemed like the relationship between Urs and Séb got better as the tour went on. After finishing the lunch, they walked back to the hotel and relaxed until the guys left for the soundcheck. As the guys were at the soundcheck, the girls were packing as they had to leave for London straight after the concert.
Isabel was in the reception when the other girls arrived. She was still the tour manager and she had to be sure that the bags would arrive at the airport. When everything was taken care of, the girls went to the venue to see the guys performing. As usual the girls went through the back to stay out of the limelight, and they walked to the dressing rooms to wish the guys good luck. The girls met Séb’s mom and they took their seats and waited for the guys to get on stage.
Two hours later, the Paris concert was over and it had been a success as always. The fans had given them a standing ovation and it had been amazing for Séb to perform again in his hometown. After changing into their casual clothes, the Divos spent some time with the fans before heading to the airport. On the way to the airport, the couples didn’t say much. They all just wanted to get on the plane and relax for a while and hopefully get some sleep when they arrived in London.
The plane landed on time in Heathrow and it didn’t take long to get the bags or go through customs. After saying goodbye to each other, the couples went their separate ways for a night of relaxing or whatever they felt like doing.
It was just around 11 am when the guys arrived at Simon’s house for a briefing about the awards show. It would be a big event for the guys as it was their first award show ever and they couldn’t wait. They were all excited about it and of course they hoped they would win. Simon told them that he would meet them at 6 pm and then they would take their seats. Melinda asked all of them to stay for lunch and they all agreed to that.
Since they had to stay for lunch, Isabel suggested to go for a swim in the pool and everyone agreed. After everyone had changed into their bathing suits and trunks, they went outside to the pool and they all had a great time. The guys were swimming to see how many laps they could do while the girls were busy talking and laughing. Most of the conversation was about the upcoming wedding and the new Divo baby, and they all had ideas for the wedding. Hearing the ideas, Mary knew that their wedding would be perfect.
As Isabel was talking to the girls, Séb watched her closely. He didn’t have a problem with Isabel getting along with the girls, but the fact that she seemed close to Jewel and Belle had him worried. Deep down he knew that he had nothing to worry about but seeing his girlfriend being close to a woman who hated him was upsetting. He knew that Isabel would get mad at him if he tried to interfere, so he decided to keep quiet and just accept it.
They all left the pool area when lunch was announced. The chatting and laughing continued over lunch, and Melinda noticed a smile on Simon’s face when he looked at the guys. Things had certainly changed between the guys, and he had high hopes that they would continue to be friends. After lunch and getting changed, the couples said their goodbyes and went home to relax before the awards show later.
Later that day
It was half past five when the Divos pulled up in front of The O2 arena. They were met by fans and a lot of photographers who were fighting to get the best pictures. It was Isabel’s first time on the red carpet and she was really nervous because a lot could go wrong on this night. She could trip over her own feet or the shoe could get caught in the dress and she would fall on her face. As the other Divos and partners left the car, Séb looked at Isabel with a smile on his face.
“Just relax and smile. I will be there with you.” Séb whispered as he held her hand.
“Let’s do this.” She said before getting out of the car.
As soon as they were out of the car, Séb put his arm around Isabel’s waist and Isabel started to relax. The guys waved to their fans and the photographers were busy taking pictures of the couples. They were met by Simon and Melinda who showed them to their table. As they were waiting for their food to arrive, they all talked about what to say if they were lucky enough to win. David told all of them to stay calm as he had a speech prepared, just in case.
Food was served and after about an hour, it was time for the show to start. They left the restaurant and went into the main arena and found their seats. Soon after it was time for the show to start and the guys could wait until their category was mentioned. Half an hour into the show, the moment had finally arrived. The Divos held hands with their partners as the nominees was mentioned, and then it was revealed.
“And the winner is…..Il Divo.” the woman on stage said.
The guys looked at each other and they couldn’t believe it. They had won the award and it was now time to get on stage and accept it. The Divos hugged each other and kissed their partners before getting up on stage to receive their award. Simon watched them and he had never felt more proud about the guys. The guys held their speech and returned to their seats with the award. About half an hour later, the show was over and it was time for them to leave. Before they left the arena, Simon told them that he would arrange a dinner party for them in Madrid as it would be impossible to have it in London because they had to leave the next day. After saying goodbye, the Divos went home to relax a bit before heading to the airport the next morning.
Jewel and Urs came home to find Belle and the nanny sleeping on the couch. Jewel walked over to her and gently woke up the nanny without waking up Belle. Urs took Belle from the nanny and carried her into the nursery while Jewel paid the nanny and said goodbye to her. As soon as the nanny had left, Jewel locked the doors and joined Urs in the nursery. After looking at Belle for a few minutes, they left the nursery and walked into the bedroom.
It had been a long day for Larissa and she was tired when they got home. All she wanted was a nice bath, then snuggling up to Carlos and just relax. Carlos walked into the bathroom and turned on the water for Larissa’s bath. He wanted to pamper the woman who was expecting his baby and Larissa was overwhelmed by what Carlos had done for her. After soaking in the bath for a while, Larissa dried herself off and walked into the bedroom. She joined Carlos in the bed and snuggled up to him.
Mary was in bed reading a wedding magazine when David walked into the bedroom. He got into bed and took the magazine from her before pulling her close. As they snuggled up, they talked about the wedding and the other couples and they couldn’t believe that things were going so well. They were getting married, Séb had changed and was in a serious relationship with Isabel, Carlos and Larissa had a baby one the way, and Jewel and Urs already had a family. Life was good indeed.
Séb was in bed, waiting for Isabel to join him. He wanted to talk to her about Jewel but he didn’t want to ruin a perfect evening. Isabel came out of the bathroom and walked over to him. He pulled her into the bed and kissed her softly as his hand wandered down her body. Isabel pulled his hand away and told him she was tired but she had to give in when he placed small kisses on her neck. She hated him for having that effect on her but there was nothing she could do. After showing their love for each other, they drifted off to sleep.

*Big foot – big mouth*
Five months had passed since the awards show and after finishing the European leg of the tour, the Divos had been travelling in Australia and were now on a break until they had to start the American leg with two performances in New York. The Divos and their partners used the time off to visit their families. Urs went back to Switzerland with Jewel and Belle, Carlos and Larissa went back to Madrid, Mary and David went to the States to visit both hers and his parents and Séb kept his promise to Isabel and took her back to Paris for a two week vacation.Paris
Isabel was on the phone when Séb returned to his mom’s house. She was on vacation with a few friends and she offered Séb to stay at the house during his time off from Il Divo. Knowing how much Isabel loved the house, Séb agreed to it and now they were here. With a smile on his face, he walked to the bedroom, then the kitchen before ending up in the living room where he reached behind the couch. He sat down on the couch and looked at Isabel talking and laughing and a smile appeared on his face. He was lucky to have her in his life and he would do whatever it took to keep her in it.
He couldn’t stop thinking about Isabel’s friendship with Jewel, and he still wanted to talk to her about it but he wasn’t sure if this was the right time. They were here to enjoy some alone time and he didn’t want to ruin that by ordering her to stop being friends with Jewel. Her hate towards him was understandable but his biggest fear was that Jewel would somehow convince Isabel that he wasn’t good enough for her. He knew Isabel loved him but his past was still buried somewhere deep inside.
“That was Kanoa on the phone. Maile gave birth to a baby girl two weeks ago but due to complications, both Maile and the baby were in the hospital and Kanoa didn’t have time to call me earlier. Maile and the baby have been released and they’ve invited us to be there for the christening next week,” Isabel said as she sat down next to him.
“That sounds great. Hawaii means a lot to me and I can’t wait to go back,” Séb said, pulling her close.
“Why does it mean a lot to you?” Isabel asked as she rested her head on his shoulder.
“Because I found something special in Hawaii,” Séb replied as his fingers entwined with hers.
“You’re not making much sense, Séb,” Isabel looked up at him.
“I’m talking about you, Miss Carrington,” Séb placed a kiss on her nose.
“Oh! Am I special?” Isabel asked him.
“Nah, I’m just kidding,” Séb teased her.
“I hate you,” Isabel stuck her tongue out.
“Yes, I know you do. I left something for you in the bedroom,” he said with a smile.
Isabel got up and hurried into the bedroom where she found a large box on the bed. She quickly opened the box to find a note inside the box:
Sorry, but I’m not in here. Check inside your suitcase.
She grabbed her suitcase, put it on the bed and opened it to find another note. Rolling her eyes, Isabel picked up the note and looked at it:
I’m not in here either. Maybe you should check the kitchen.
Isabel let out a sigh as she closed the suitcase and walked into the kitchen where she found another note. It was getting really annoying and Isabel wanted to scream. She picked up the note and read it:
Oops, my mistake. Now I remember where I am. Check the living room.
Letting out another sigh, Isabel walked into the living room where Séb was still on the couch, laughing. He laughed even louder when he saw the look on her face and Isabel wanted to hurt him. She had her arms crossed across her chest as she stared at him. Séb walked over to her and kissed her before handing her another note.
“I think this is a sick game,” Isabel told him before reading the note.
I really am in the living room. If you look behind the couch, you will find a black box with a purple bow. I am inside.
Not hoping for anything, Isabel walked over to the couch and looked behind the couch where she found the box. She picked it up and sat down on the couch before opening it. Inside she found a beautiful dress and she looked at Séb who had a big smile on his face before she took out the dress.
“Do you like it?” he asked as he walked over to her.
“Like it? I love it,” Isabel said with a smile.
“I’m glad you do because it means I have great taste,” Séb winked.
“What do you mean?” Isabel asked.
“Well, I imagined how you would look in that dress and I liked what I saw,” he said with a smile.
“You’re crazy,” Isabel said.
“I know. Crazy about you,” he whispered before kissing her softly.
Isabel walked into the bedroom with the dress and Séb joined her shortly after. He kissed her neck as she hung up the dress and it didn’t take long before they snuggled up on the bed. They woke up a few hours later and got ready for dinner. Séb was taking her out to dinner at his favorite restaurant in Paris and he wanted the evening to be perfect. Isabel was already dressed when Séb walked out of the bathroom and seeing Isabel in the dress took his breath away. She looked beautiful and he felt proud of being the man she loved.
Séb finished getting dressed while Isabel put on her shoes and make up. As soon as they were dressed, they left the house and got into the limo that Séb had booked for them. They were alone in Paris and he wanted to pamper her like she had never been pampered before. Séb held her hand and Isabel rested her head on his shoulder as the car drove through Paris. They arrived at the restaurant and Séb never let go of her hand as they walked inside.
They were greeted by the owner of the restaurant, Alain Dubois, and he showed them to their table in the back of the restaurant. Everything had been planned and nothing was missing. Isabel loved every minute of it and it was the first time in her life a man had pampered her like that. They didn’t say much during dinner because the look in their eyes said it all. After dinner, Séb paid the bill before taking Isabel’s hand and leaving the restaurant. They got into the limo and drove home to the next part of Séb’s plan.
As soon as they got inside the house, Séb locked the door and led Isabel into the living room. Isabel took off her shoes as Séb turned on the music. He walked up behind Isabel and put his arms around her waist as he kissed her neck. Isabel turned around and looked at him. Séb kissed her deeply before pulling her into his arms. He gently placed his arms behind her back and looked into her eyes. They began swaying to the music and Isabel loved being this close to him.
The next morning, Isabel woke up to see Séb sleeping next to her. He looked so handsome with his hair all messed up, reminding her of the passionate night they had spent. With a smile on her face, Isabel drifted off to sleep again. They woke up a few hours later and Séb took a shower while Isabel made breakfast for them. Séb joined her in the kitchen and they enjoyed their breakfast. After breakfast, Isabel took a quick shower and got dressed before they left the house to take a look at Paris.
Over the next week, Isabel and Séb were planning their trip to Hawaii. Isabel had been shopping for a gift for Maile’s baby and as the godmother, she needed something special. She found a necklace with a silver heart, a cross, a pearl and finally a clay heart with the initial I for Illima.
Isabel couldn’t wait to see Maile and Kanoa again and she was looking forward to going back to Hawaii.
“Where are you?” Séb asked as he handed her a cup of coffee.
“I’m here but my thoughts are in Hawaii,” Isabel told him.
“Do you miss being on ‘Pride of America’?” Séb questioned as he looked at her.
“No, I don’t. If I wanted to stay there, I wouldn’t have said yes to uncle Mons’ offer. I’ve got a great life in London, a great job, great friends and the world’s greatest boyfriend. Sometimes I miss the islands but if I had to choose between the islands and my life now, I would choose my life now,” Isabel replied.
“When the tour is over, we will go to Hawaii and stay there for a few weeks. How does that sound?” Séb asked with a smile.
“That sounds great. You are too good for me, Séb,” Isabel smiled back.
“I just want you to be happy,” Séb said as he reached for her hand.
“I am happy,” Isabel said as she looked at him.
“Glad to hear that, Cherie. What do you want to do tonight?” Séb asked before kissing her hand.
“I want to stay here. We can order some food, watch a movie and just relax.” Isabel said.
“I like the way you think, Cherie. If you pick the movie, I will order the food,” Séb said as he picked up his phone.
Isabel kissed his cheek before walking into the living room. As she was looking for a movie, she heard Séb order food and she loved hearing him speaking French. A few minutes later, Séb walked into the living room and told her that he would pick up the food. Séb left the house and Isabel decided to set the table while he was gone. As soon as Séb returned with the food, they sat down and enjoyed their evening with great food and a movie.
Séb woke up at 3 am and looked at Isabel who was sleeping in his arms. They had fallen asleep after the movie, and the plates were still on the table. He picked up Isabel and carried her into the bedroom before he cleaned up the living room and kitchen. Séb turned out the lights and walked into the bedroom, took off his clothes before climbing into bed. Isabel was still sleeping and as soon as Séb got into bed, Isabel rolled into his arms.
“Je t’aime,” he whispered before drifting off to sleep.
Three days before they were heading for Hawaii, Séb decided to talk to Isabel about her friendship with Jewel. He knew that Isabel might get mad at him but it was a risk he had to take. They were in the garden having dinner when Séb decided to speak his mind.
“We need to talk,” Séb said to her as he looked at her.
“About?” she asked, wondering what was going on.
“I don’t want you to think that I am trying to tell you who you can or can’t be friends with even if it may sound like that. You seem to be getting along great with Jewel and I really don’t like it,” Séb replied.
“Excuse me? Did you just say what I think you did?” Isabel asked, hoping she had heard wrong.
“Yes, I did. You seem to be getting close to Jewel and Belle and I don’t like it,” Séb repeated.
“I don’t believe that I’m hearing this. Are you telling me that I can’t be friends with Jewel because you just don’t like her?” Isabel asked with anger in her voice.
“That’s right. She will do whatever she can to turn you against me,” Séb replied.
“Nothing she says will make me stop loving you. Jewel might hate you for what you did to her and I can’t blame her but you are not that man anymore. Jewel is my friend and I love spending time with her, the girls and Belle. I will stay friends with her whether you like it or not,” Isabel said.
“Is that your final decision?” Séb asked.
“Yes, it is,” Isabel replied, staring at him with anger in her eyes.
“Then this discussion is over. I need some fresh air,” Séb threw down his napkin and left.
Isabel heard the door close and she stood to clear the table. As soon as she was done, she walked into the bedroom to pack a bag with everything she needed for the trip to Hawaii. She called the airlines and she was lucky enough to get a ticket for a flight later that evening. Isabel called for a cab and 10 minutes later, she was on her way to the airport. Isabel couldn’t believe how she could have been so wrong about Séb. What happened to the man she had fallen in love with?
Séb came home, feeling bad about what he had said to Isabel. He called out Isabel’s name but there was no reply and he checked the entire house to see if he could find her. There was no sign of Isabel and he was getting a bit worried because she didn’t seem like the kind of woman who would disappear without a word. As he returned to the kitchen, he found a letter on the table. He opened it and read the words:Dear Séb,
When you read this letter, I will be on my way to Hawaii. I will go to the christening alone, so please don’t follow me.
I need some time to think and so do you.
Séb looked at the letter in his hand and he didn’t know what to do. Isabel had gone to Hawaii alone and it was all because he had been acting like a real jerk. He knew Isabel loved him, so why was he acting like this? Séb had to go to Hawaii and he had to get there before Isabel but how? After thinking about it for a while, one person came to mind and that person was Simon. But would Simon help him? Séb had made a promise to Simon about never hurting Isabel and he hadn’t kept that promise.
He picked up the phone and dialed Simon’s number, hoping that Simon wouldn’t ask any questions. When Simon answered his phone, Séb explained to him that they needed the jet to fly to Hawaii. Simon said yes without asking any questions and Séb let out a sigh of relieve after hanging up the phone. Three hours later, Séb was on his way to Hawaii on board Simon’s private jet. He had to talk to Isabel and tell her he was sorry for acting like a jerk. The question was……would she forgive him?

*Making the effort*
Isabel was on the plane to Hawaii, reading a book when she noticed a man staring at her. He didn’t look familiar to her but it seemed like he knew who she was. Deep down she wanted to find out who he was and why he seemed so interested in her but she wasn’t in the mood to deal with this now. She couldn’t stop thinking about Séb and maybe she had been overreacting a bit but she didn’t want to be told what to do or who to be friends with.
Letting out a sigh, Isabel returned to her book but she couldn’t focus on the book. She closed her eyes and wondered what would happen between her and Séb now. The love was still there and she was really torn at the moment. A part of her wanted Séb to join her in Hawaii but the other part wanted him to stay away. They both needed some time to think about what they wanted and the only way to do that was to be apart for a while. Isabel opened her eyes and saw the man standing in front of her.
“Are you Isabel Carrington?” the man asked.
“Who wants to know?” Isabel questioned as she stared at him.
“My name is Morgan Collins. I know your old boss, Gerald,” he held out his hand to her.
“Sorry, but I don’t shake hands with Gerald’s friends,” Isabel said.
“I’m not his friend anymore. After the article in ‘The Tattletell Gazette’, I told him that I wasn’t doing his dirty work anymore,” Morgan said.
Isabel looked at him without saying anything. She knew that Gerald was behind that article and now she knew who had given him the information. This Morgan was the one who had been taking pictures at the airports and maybe he had something to do with the woman too. Isabel didn’t know what to think or feel at the moment but she wanted to get to the bottom of this.
“Did you arrange for the woman in Sweden to hug Séb?” Isabel asked as she gestured for him to sit down.
“Yes, but I didn’t have to work hard to make her do it. She told me that she had spent a night with him a long time ago and she wouldn’t mind spending another night with him. It was Gerald’s idea. His hope was for you to come running to him when you found out what kind of man Séb really was,” Morgan replied.
“The man is crazy. I don’t believe this,” Isabel told him.
“Well, I am telling you the truth. I can’t blame you for not believing me but it’s the truth. I had nothing to do with the article, I just took the pictures,” Morgan said.
“I don’t know why but I believe you,” Isabel said.
“Thanks. I’m sorry for whatever problems I’ve caused,” Morgan said.
“Apology accepted,” Isabel said with a smile.
Morgan walked back to his seat and sat down. He felt good about apologizing to Isabel and he really hoped that Isabel and Séb could be happy together without Gerald causing more problems. Isabel thought about what Morgan had told her and she should have known that Gerald was behind everything but she honestly didn’t think that he could be so mean. As she sat there, she knew she had to talk to Séb but it would have to wait until she was back in London. She had told him not to follow her and she was sure that he would respect her wish and stay away. Isabel closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep, thinking of Séb.
Simon’s private jet
Séb was busy planning his arrival in Hawaii. Since they would be arriving earlier than planned, he had to make some changes to the hotel reservation. His plan was to arrive in Hawaii before Isabel did and then get things ready for her arrival. He knew that he had been wrong to tell Isabel not to be friends with Jewel and he wanted to make things right. Séb took out his wallet and looked at the picture of Isabel he had in there. What was wrong with him? He had a girlfriend who loved him despite all of his flaws and he was about to ruin everything.
He had never felt this way about anyone before and maybe he was acting like this because he didn’t know how to be a good boyfriend. When Isabel wasn’t around, he felt empty inside and he couldn’t wait to see her again. As he sat there, he wondered if he should call her but he decided against it. If Isabel knew that he was on his way to Hawaii, she might book another hotel far away from where Séb would be staying and he didn’t want that. He wanted to spend time with her in Hawaii, go to the christening with her and show her in every way possible that he truly was sorry.
“Are you ok, Mr. Izambard?” Colleen Kincaid asked him.
“No, I’m not ok but I hope to be once I get to Hawaii,” he replied.
“Is there anything I can do?” she asked as she touched his arm.
“Thanks, but I will be fine. I think I will go and lay down for a few hours,” Séb said as he got up.
“If you change your mind, you know where to find me. All you have to do is call,” Colleen smiled at him.
Without saying a word, Séb walked into the bedroom and closed the door behind him. He couldn’t believe that Colleen came on to him when she knew he was with Isabel. Colleen had been working for Simon for two years now and she had always taken good care of the guys when they used the private jet. This time she stepped over the line. How could she even think that Séb would cheat on Isabel? Yes, they might have some problems right now but he wanted to work things out with Isabel, not make things worse.
After getting a few hours of sleep, Séb had returned to his seat and Colleen brought him a cup of coffee. She was feeling bad about what she had said to Séb earlier because she had no interest in him at all and she loved her boyfriend who happened to be the pilot on Simon’s jet.
“I’m sorry about before. It may have sounded like I was coming on to you but that is not the case. I just didn’t choose my words carefully and I really am sorry,” Colleen said as she looked down at the floor.
“No harm done. Let’s just forget this happened,” Séb said.
Colleen nodded her head in agreement before walking into the cockpit where her boyfriend was. Steven Cain had been Simon’s pilot for three years and if it hadn’t been for his job, he never would have met Colleen. Colleen told Steven about what happened with Sébastien and Steven couldn’t stop laughing. She told him it wasn’t funny and Steven promised her that he wouldn’t say another word. They continued to talk in the cockpit while Séb had gone back to the bedroom for some privacy. He had a lot of things to plan before arriving in Hawaii.
After spending more than 15 hours on a plane, Séb had finally arrived in Hawaii. He had been checking up on Isabel’s flight and due to a delay, he had about two hours to get everything ready for her arrival. It didn’t take him long to hail a cab and within 10 minutes, he was on his way to the hotel. After paying the cab driver, Séb walked into the reception and over to the reception desk.
“Can I help you?” a man asked.
“Yes, my name is Sébastien Izambard and I called earlier about my reservation,” Séb replied.
“That’s right. The room we had booked for you is not available but we have taken the liberty of booking one of our bungalows for you,” the man said.
“A bungalow sounds just fine,” Séb said with a smile.
He had thought about booking a bungalow but they had both agreed that a suite would be good enough. After talking to the man at the reception for a few more minutes, Séb was shown to the bungalow. It was located down by the beach and they could actually get up in the morning, take two steps forward and they would be in the water.
Séb didn’t want to unpack yet, so he put his suitcase under the bed to hide that he was there. He took a look around the bungalow to check that everything was ready for Isabel’s arrival. He had ordered some Hawaiian food and fruit and something to drink, hoping they could spend a nice evening together and talk about things. Séb took one look around the bungalow to make sure that he had covered everything before he walked into the bathroom for a shower. After getting dressed, he walked outside and poured himself a glass of wine before sitting down. All he could do now was to wait for Isabel to arrive.
Isabel had arrived at the airport and was on her way to the hotel, not knowing that Séb was there. It felt good to be back in Hawaii and she was looking forward to seeing Maile, Kanoa and baby Illima. She just wanted to take a shower, get something to eat and relax. Isabel picked up her phone and called Kanoa to let them know that she had arrived safely.
“You don’t have to stay at a hotel, Isabel. We’ve got a spare bedroom and you’re welcome to stay here with us,” Kanoa said.
“That’s sweet of you but I don’t want to be in the way,” Isabel said to him.
“The offer stands if you change your mind. Illima needs changing and it’s my turn, so I have to leave. We will call you tomorrow,” Kanoa said before hanging up.
The cab pulled up in front of the hotel and Isabel got out. She walked into the reception and straight over to the reception desk.
“I have a reservation,” Isabel said to the young woman in front of her.
“Your name, Miss?” the woman asked.
“Isabel Carrington,” Isabel replied.
“I’m sorry, but we don’t have a reservation under that name,” the woman said after checking the system.
“Do you have a reservation under the name of Sébastien Izambard?” Isabel asked.
“One moment, Miss Carrington,” the woman replied and disappeared.
Shortly after, a man walked towards Isabel and it made her worried. Why would this guy suddenly appear after she mentioned Séb’s name?
“Welcome to our hotel, Miss Carrington. Due to your early arrival, we had to move you to a bungalow and I hope that is ok with you,” the man said.
“Yes, that’s fine. I don’t care where I stay,” Isabel said.
“Good. Mano will show you to your bungalow,” the man said as he gestured for a young man to join them.
Mano picked up Isabel’s suitcase and she followed him to the bungalow. As soon as Mano and Isabel were gone, the hotel manager called Séb to inform him that Isabel was on her way. Séb quickly put the food and the fruits on the table before he picked up a bottle of water and left the bungalow. He didn’t want her to know he was there, at least not yet. Séb heard the door open and he watched as Isabel walked through the door.
“What is that?” Isabel asked as she pointed to the food and the fruit on the table.
“The manager thought you might want something when you arrived,” Mano said.
“Oh, ok. That’s sweet of him. Thank you,” Isabel said with a smile.
“You’re welcome. Is there anything you need?” Mano asked.
“No, I will be fine. I just want a shower and then relax,” Isabel replied.
“Then enjoy your stay,” Mano said and left.
As soon as he was gone, Isabel walked into the bedroom and unpacked her bag before heading into the bathroom for a shower. After finishing her shower, Isabel put on a dress and walked outside to take a walk on the beach. It was a nice and warm afternoon and she loved feeling the sand caress her feet. The sound of the water was soothing but as she stood there, something was missing. The most important thing in her life was missing. Suddenly she heard something behind her that made her freeze.
“No wonder you like this place,” Séb said.
“What are you doing here?” Isabel asked without turning around.
“I came here to apologize. I shouldn’t have said what I did and if you want to be friends with Jewel, then I won’t stand in our way,” Séb said.
“Apology accepted. You can leave now,” Isabel said.
“Non, we need to talk about this, Isabel! I have made a lot of mistakes with Jewel and Belle and even how I treated Lindsey. This time I am not taking the easy way out by walking away and I am not a servant you can just dismiss. Or is that how you see me?” Séb said.
“What do you mean?” Isabel wasn’t sure what he meant.
“You accept my apology and tell me to leave. We always run away instead of talking about things,” Séb said.
“You’re right about that. Maybe it’s a sign,” Isabel told him.
“A sign?” Séb asked.
“Maybe someone is trying to tell us that we shouldn’t be together,” Isabel looked at him.
“You don’t believe that, do you?” Séb was shocked to hear those words.
“I don’t know,” Isabel replied without looking at him.
“Look at me and tell me that you believe that we shouldn’t be together,” Séb said.
“I can’t do that,” Isabel said as she looked at him.
“Then you have your answer. I love you and I don’t want to lose you,” Séb said took her hands and looked at her with tears forming in his eyes.
“I love you too and I don’t want to lose you either,” Isabel told him as she touched his cheek.
“Then I suggest we go inside and get something to eat before we talk?” Séb suggested.
“Sounds like a good idea,” Isabel said with a smile.
Séb took her hand and they walked inside. They had a long evening and night ahead of them because they had a lot of talking to do.

*Old & New Memories*
It was almost 4 am when Isabel woke up. She was in the bed but it felt like something was missing. She had no memory of going to bed but maybe it was because of the evening she had spent with Séb. It had been an evening filled with emotions but the talk had been an eye opener for both of them and they both discovered a lot of new things about each other. Isabel reached out her hand to feel Séb lying next to her but she was alone in the bed.
Isabel put on a robe and walked into the living room where she found Sébastien sleeping on the couch. It seemed like he had chosen to sleep on the couch instead of in the bed with her. She couldn’t figure out why he had made that decision because they hadn’t been fighting or anything. Isabel walked outside and looked at the moon, reflecting in the water. It was a beautiful night and Isabel decided to take a walk on the beach.
As she walked along the beach, she thought back to her childhood when her dad would take her for a walk on the beach. The walks on the beach were some of the most precious moments in her childhood in the islands and she couldn’t believe that her parents had been dead for 25 years. Isabel sat down in the sand and she could feel the tears forming in her eyes as she thought about her parents. She had no doubts that they were looking down on her and that they were proud of her. Her mind drifted back to her 7th birthday. The day before her parents left her forever.
*Flashback - May, 1984*
Isabel woke up early because she was too excited to sleep. Today was her 7th birthday and she couldn’t wait to spend the day with her friends and family. She was looking forward to the birthday party later in the evening and she knew it would be great. Even though she was awake, Isabel decided to stay in bed because she knew that her parents would come to her room and sing to her. They had been doing that for as long as she could remember and she loved it.
It was about an hour later when she heard her parents talking in the hallway. With a smile on her face, Isabel closed her eyes and pretended to be sleeping as her parents walked through the door. They sang to her and Matthew Carrington gave his daughter a present. Isabel opened it to find a gold pearl and heart necklace inside. She loved the necklace and asked her dad to put in on her. Matthew Carrington took out the necklace and did as his princess asked of him.
The family went downstairs to have breakfast together and Isabel couldn’t wait to open the big present on the floor. She had an idea what it was but she didn’t want to hope for anything. As she was eating, Isabel kept staring at the box and her parents decided to let her open it. Isabel didn’t need to hear those words twice and she opened the present to find the bike she had been wishing for. With a big smile on her face, she hugged her parents and thanked them for the present.
Isabel spent the afternoon riding her new bike and Sheena Carrington was having problems getting her inside when it was time to get ready for the party. Even though Isabel didn’t want to let go of her bike, she walked inside where her mom was waiting in the bathroom. After having her shower and putting on her new dress, Isabel walked downstairs where her dad was waiting for her. His little princess looked so pretty and he was proud to be her dad.
An hour later, all of the guests had arrived and it was party time. Isabel had a great time at the party and Isabel enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was looking forward to playing with her new toys but she would have to wait until the next day. It was almost midnight when Sheena told Isabel to go to bed but Isabel wasn’t tired. She wanted to go for a walk on the beach and look at the moon. Matthew told Isabel that he would take her for a walk if she promised to go to bed when they returned from their walk. Isabel agreed with a smile and Matthew took her hand before they all left the house.
Sheena wanted to join them because this would be the last day with Isabel for a week. They were both leaving the next morning and would be gone for a week. After spending ten minutes on the beach, they walked back inside and Isabel drifted off to sleep with a smile on her face.
Isabel and her parents had breakfast at Maile’s house before they headed to the airport. Isabel would be staying with Maile’s parents until her parents returned from their trip a week later. Sheena and Matthew said goodbye to their princess before leaving for the airport, unaware that they had seen Isabel for the last time. Isabel was happy when she climbed into bed that night but she had no idea that she was now an orphan.
*End of flashback*
Isabel dried her eyes before walking back to the bungalow to get some sleep. When she returned, Séb was still sleeping on the couch and even though she wanted him to stay with her in the bedroom, she couldn’t find it in her heart to wake him up. Isabel walked into the bedroom and climbed into bed, hoping that Séb would be joining her but he was still sleeping. Letting out a sigh, she turned on her side and closed her eyes. She opened her eyes when she heard the door open.
“Are you ok, Cherie?” he asked her.
“I don’t know,” Isabel replied without looking at him.
“What’s wrong?” Séb walked over to the bed and sat down.
“I couldn’t sleep, so I went for a walk on the beach and it brought back memories to my 7th birthday. The day before my parents died,” Isabel turned to look at him.
“They died the day after your birthday?” Séb asked.
“Yes, they did. I wasn’t told until the morning after they died. It’s hard to believe that it’s been 25 years,” Isabel replied.
“Come here,” Séb said as he climbed into bed and pulled her close.
Isabel loved feeling Séb’s arms around her and she was happy that they had a chance to talk about their relationship. They did have a few very emotional moments during their talk but they managed to work it out. As she was in his arms, she knew that they would be able to deal with any problems life would throw at them. Séb felt the same way as Isabel as he held her close. They both wanted this relationship to work and if they had to make a few sacrifices, then so be it. Isabel and Séb fell asleep, feeling content in their own little world.
“What are you thinking of?” Melinda asked Simon who seemed to be far away.
“I was just thinking of Isabel and Séb. It seems weird that Séb asked for the private jet,” Simon replied.
“You worry too much, Simon. Maybe Séb just wanted some privacy for him and Isabel. You don’t get a lot of privacy on international flights,” Melinda told him.
“I know that but there was something in his voice that has me worried,” Simon looked at her.
“Isabel will let you know if there is a problem,” Melinda said.
“I know. Guess I am worrying too much,” Simon said with a smile
Carlos and Larissa were enjoying their time in Madrid with Carlos’ family. Larissa was now more than five months pregnant and everything looked fine but she was tired. Since they found out about the pregnancy, both Carlos and Larissa agreed that they didn’t want to know if it was a boy or a girl but knowing that they would only have about a month to prepare a nursery, they had made an appointment to get a scan. Today was the day they would find out if their baby was a baby Carlos or a baby Larissa.
Larissa looked at herself in the mirror when Carlos walked into the room. Carlos walked over to her and put his arms around her, resting his hands on her stomach. He couldn’t wait to meet his son or daughter and he hoped that Larissa would be able to stay with him during the USA tour. They would have to talk to the doctor about it today because Carlos couldn’t stand the thought of Larissa going back to London while he was touring in USA.
“You look beautiful,” he whispered to her.
“I look like an elephant,” Larissa said with a smile.
“No, you don’t. Even if you did, it wouldn’t matter to me. You would still be beautiful to me,” Carlos said to her.
“Smooth as always,” Larissa smiled before she gently kissed him.
“Are you ready to leave?” Carlos asked.
“Yes, I am ready. Let’s go meet our baby,” Larissa said.
Carlos took her hand in his and they walked downstairs to say goodbye to Carlos’ parents, Constanza and Enrique before getting into the car. As they drove through the streets of Madrid, they talked about names. They both had their favorite names but they didn’t agree on names. Carlos and Larissa had to admit that finding the perfect name for a baby was difficult. Carlos stopped the car and got out before helping Larissa out. They both took a deep breath before walking into the building where they would find out the gender of their first baby.
“Are you ready to leave?” Urs asked Jewel as he walked into the bedroom.
“Yes, I am ready. Are you sure we should do this?” Jewel asked him with concern in her eyes.
“Yes, liebling. My parents will take care of Belle and you know she will be in good hands. They will spoil her rotten of course but that’s what grandparents do,” Urs smiled at her.
“They really do love her despite her not being their biological granddaughter,” Jewel said, knowing she was wrong saying it.
“That doesn’t matter to them and it doesn’t matter to me either. Blood related or not, Belle is my daughter and their granddaughter,” Urs said as he pulled her into him.
“I know, Urs. I’m sorry for bringing it up,” Jewel said.
“It’s ok. Let’s get our bags and get out of here,” Urs said as grabbed their bags.
They said goodbye to Belle and Urs’ parents before leaving the house. Urs and Jewel would spend the day driving around Luzern on Urs’ motorcycle and then spend the night at a hotel.
David and Mary were having a crisis about the wedding. They had agreed on blue for the bridesmaids but Mary was having second thoughts about the color because she couldn’t find a matching suit for David. She wanted everything to match and with the wedding getting closer, she was under a lot of pressure.
“Maybe we should postpone the wedding?” she said to David.
“No, that is not going to happen. I want to marry you and if I have to wear pink to get married, so be it,” David told her.
“Pink? I don’t want a pink wedding,” Mary looked at him.
“I don’t want a pink wedding either,” David said with a smile and sat down next to her.
“What do you think of this suit?” Mary pointed at a suit in a magazine.
“Well, yellow is not really my color but I actually like that one,” David replied.
“I have three bridesmaid dresses to match the suit but can’t decide on which one. What do you think?” Mary asked.
“The girls would look great in all of them. Hopefully Larissa has given birth before the wedding or she will not fit into that dress,” David said.
“I want this dress and we will just have to make it fit Larissa,” Mary said with determination in her voice.
“You’re right. Does that mean everything is ready?” David asked.
“We need the rings and flowers but everything else is ready,” Mary replied.
“Let’s make a deal. I will take care of the rings and you can take of the flowers,” David said.
“You’ve got yourself a deal,” Mary smiled at him.
“Now that we’ve got that sorted out, how do you feel about getting something to eat?” David asked as they put away the magazines.
“That sounds good to me,” Mary replied.
David pulled her into his arms and kissed her softly before taking her hand. The couple left, unaware that they were being watched.

*Gerald The Stalker*
After spending a few days in Hawaii, the day of the christening had finally arrived. Isabel was up early and she went outside and looked at the sun as it rose from the sea. As she stood there, she thought about the last few days with Séb and she couldn’t believe how much their little chat had changed for them. For some reason, she felt closer to him than she ever had before but she couldn’t explain why. She jumped up when she felt Séb’s arms around her waist and his breath caressed her ear.
“Good morning, Cherie. Did you sleep well?” he whispered.
“Yes, I did. What about you?” she asked, even though she knew the answer.
“I slept like a baby. Last night was amazing,” Séb kissed her ear.
“You fell asleep,” Isabel pointed out as she turned around to face him.
“Yes, I did. I will make it up to you,” Séb promised her.
“I can’t wait,” Isabel kissed him passionately.
Without saying a word, Séb picked her up and carried her into the bed. He laid her down on the bed and looked at her. Her eyes were full of love and he knew that he would never find another woman who would look at him like that. He leaned down and kissed her gently on her lips as his hands began to undress her. They both took their time in exploring each other’s bodies until they came together. Séb turned onto his back, trying to get his breathing under control as Isabel snuggled up to him.
“We should get ready for the christening,” Isabel looked at him.
“Yes, I know. Do you want to go first?” Séb asked her.
“Sure. I will need more time than you to get ready,” Isabel smiled as she got out of bed.
Séb watched her as she walked into the bathroom, closing the door after her. He wanted to join her in the bathroom but he knew it was a bad idea. Letting out a sigh, he rose from the bed and walked over to the closet to find something to wear at the christening. It was his first christening in Hawaii and he didn’t know what to wear. Isabel came out of the bathroom, wearing a towel around her body and a smile appeared on her face as she looked at Séb.
“If you take a shower, I will find something for you to wear,” Isabel told him.
“Thanks. What would I do without you?” Séb kissed her.
“Walk around naked,” Isabel replied with a smile.
Séb shook his head as he walked into the bathroom. As soon as he closed the door, Isabel picked out an outfit for him before choosing an outfit for herself. An hour later, they left the bungalow and got into the car that Kanoa had sent for them. Séb noticed a dreamy look on Isabel’s face and he knew what she was thinking. He couldn’t deny that Hawaii was a beautiful place and he felt a strong connection to Hawaii. If it hadn’t been for Hawaii, he never would have met Isabel. Séb took Isabel’s hand and smiled at her, letting her know that he knew what she was thinking. The thought had crossed his mind too and they had to talk about it when the tour was over.
The car pulled up in front of the house and a lot of memories went through Isabel’s head. She had spent a lot of time in that house when Maile’s parents lived there and it was the house she was staying at 25 years ago when she got the news about her parents. The house looked a bit different because Maile and Kanoa had made a lot of changes to it but some of it was still the same. Séb took Isabel’s hand and held it tight as they walked to the door. As they waited for the door to open, Séb let go of her hand and gently put his arm around her waist.
The door was opened by a young woman and her eyes went straight to Sébastien. She couldn’t believe her eyes. Sébastien Izambard of Il Divo was standing in front of her, looking gorgeous as always.
“It’s you. You’re Sébastien from Il Divo,” she managed to say.
“Yes, I am. Are you a fan?” Séb wanted to know.
“Your biggest fan. I promise you that you will never find a more devoted Siren than me,” she told him with a smile.
“It’s always a pleasure to meet a fan. What is your name?” Séb asked her.
“Her name is Aolani. She is Kanoa’s baby sister,” Isabel answered Séb’s question.
“Isabel?” Aolani looked at her.
“The one and only,” Isabel smiled at her.
“I can’t believe you’re here. It’s so good to see you,” Aolani hugged her.
“It’s good to see you too. You look amazing,” Isabel told her.
“So do you. Maile and Kanoa are waiting for you. Follow me,” Aolani stepped aside.
Isabel and Séb walked into the hall and Aolani led them outside where the christening would be held. Maile and Kanoa were talking to some of the guests when Isabel and Séb appeared. Maile spotted them and she had a big smile on her face as she walked over to them.
“I’m so happy you are here,” she said as she hugged Isabel.
“I’m happy to be here. You already know Séb,” Isabel smiled at her.
“Yes, I do. I didn’t expect to see you here but it’s good to see you,” Maile looked at Séb.
“It’s good to see you too and you still look beautiful,” Séb smiled at her.
Kanoa came over to say hello and he too didn’t expect to see Sébastien there. Maile and Kanoa introduced them to the guests before Maile took Isabel to see Illima. She was so beautiful and when Isabel picked her up, she had a big smile on her face.
“You’re good with babies, Isabel. She usually cries her lunges out when a stranger picks her up,” Maile told her.
“Yes, I must be. It’s the same with Séb’s daughter,” Isabel looked at Maile.
“Séb has a daughter?” Maile was stunned to hear that.
“Yes, but we don’t talk about her. It’s a long story and I need you to promise me that you won’t mention it to anyone,” Isabel begged.
“You have my word. It’s time for Illima to get her name,” Maile smiled at her.
The two friends left the nursery and walked outside where everyone was waiting for them. The ceremony didn’t take long and it was time for the party to get started. Isabel looked at Séb with a smile on her face and as he watched Isabel with Illima, he hoped that someday Isabel would be holding their baby. Isabel walked over to him and placed Illima in his arms. Séb looked at Illima and he actually felt comfortable as he held her in his arms.
“It’s bedtime for Illima,” Maile said to Séb.
“Oh, ok. Would you mind if I tucked her in?” Séb asked.
“No, of course not. Isabel can show you to the nursery,” Mailed replied with a smile.
Séb and Isabel walked inside and Maile looked at Kanoa who had joined her. They didn’t say anything but they were both thinking the same thing. As Kanoa and Maile said goodbye to their guests, Séb was busy in the nursery changing Illima’s diaper. Isabel had offered to do it but Séb wanted to do it. Isabel watched him closely and seeing him with Illima made her happy. It gave her hope that someday they would be able to have a baby of their own and that Séb would love the baby. Séb had finished changing the diaper and he gently put Illima in her crib before walking over to Isabel. They turned off the light and left the nursery.
When Isabel and Séb returned, all of the guests had left and Maile wanted to give them the big tour of the house. Kanoa had made some snacks and was waiting for them by the pool when they returned. Isabel loved spending time with Kanoa and Maile and they talked about Isabel’s new job as tour manager, Séb being in Il Divo and of course how Isabel and Séb got together. The two couples were so into talking that they forgot time and when Séb looked at his watch, it said 2 am. Maile offered that they could spend the night and both Isabel and Séb agreed. They continued to talk for about an hour before saying goodnight.
Denver – USA
David and Mary were enjoying their last evening in Denver and David wanted to take her out to dinner. As they were sitting in the restaurant, Mary noticed a man staring at them. She thought she had seen him before but she couldn’t figure out where. Mary asked David if he had a pen because she had forgotten to write something down. David handed her a pen and Mary wrote something on a small piece of paper and gave it to David. He looked at the note, then at Mary.
David excused himself and left the table as he briefly looked at the man. He continued towards the men’s room and returned to the table a few minutes later. They kept talking like nothing was wrong but David felt uncomfortable about the man who was watching them. As soon as David had paid the bill, they walked out of the restaurant and David told Mary to get into the car. She did as he asked and she watched as he waited outside of the restaurant for the man to come out. He didn’t have to wait long for the man to make an appearance and David grabbed him and pushed him up against the wall.
“What are you doing in Denver, Gerald?” David politely asked him.
“I am just having a nice dinner. Is that illegal?” Gerald replied with a grin.
“You’re from San Francisco, so what are you doing here?” David was getting angry.
“Give me one good reason why I should tell you,” Gerald looked at him.
“I’m asking you for the last time. Why are you following us?” David was really annoyed.
“I’m not following you, David. I have no interest in you,” Gerald said with an evil grin.
“I am warning you, Gerald. Stay away from Isabel and Séb,” David looked at him.
“Take your hands off me, Miller. I can do whatever I want and you can’t stop me. Isabel will pay for what she did to me and if I have to hurt Séb in the process, then so be it,” Gerald pushed David away.
“Get out of here,” David glanced at him.
“I will see you again soon. Tell Isabel I said hello,” Gerald said before walking away.
David watched him leave before he got into the car. He told Mary about the man and Mary was shocked to hear that it was Gerald. They both knew they had to warn Isabel about Gerald being around because they knew that he would be following them to New York. David promised Mary that he would contact both Séb and Simon the next day to inform them of Gerald’s plan. Hopefully Simon could do something to keep Séb and Isabel safe from Gerald.
As promised, David called Simon and Séb the next day to tell them about the meeting with Gerald and as expected, Simon got angry. He swore that he would do whatever he could to keep Gerald away from Séb and Isabel and David believed him. Séb wasn’t shocked about the news because ever since that day at the airport, Séb knew they hadn’t seen the last of Gerald. David told Séb it was up to him if he wanted to tell Isabel about Gerald being in Denver. As Séb hung up the phone, he didn’t know what to do. They still had another day in Hawaii before they had to leave for New York and Séb didn’t want to ruin Isabel’s last day in Hawaii.
A few days later, Séb and Isabel was on their way to New York and Séb decided to tell Isabel about Gerald and as expected, she wasn’t happy about it. Séb told her that Simon had been informed and he would do what he could to make sure that Isabel wasn’t harmed. Isabel knew that Simon would never allow Gerald to hurt her but that didn’t stop her from worrying. She knew Gerald well enough to know that he wouldn’t give up that easy and he would continue to stalk her until he got what he wanted. Séb did what he could to take Isabel’s mind of Gerald and they didn’t mention him for the rest of the trip.
They arrived on time in New York and went straight to the hotel where they met Carlos and Larissa. They had news to share but they wanted to wait until the others arrived. After spending an hour in the hotel bar, the two couples went to their rooms. They couldn’t wait to be together again on stage and perform.

*Something wicked this way comes*
Carlos, Larissa, Isabel and Séb were having breakfast in Carlos’ suite because Larissa wasn’t feeling well. They talked about the christening and both Carlos and Larissa were surprised to hear about Séb changing Illima’s diaper and putting her to bed. That was one thing they thought they would never hear but it gave them hope that maybe someday he would accept Belle. The two couples continued to talk and Larrisa was dying to tell them the result of the ultrasound but they had agreed to wait until they were all there.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door and Carlos opened it to see David and Mary standing there. They had just arrived at the hotel and wanted to have breakfast with their friends. David told them that Urs had called him from the airport to let him know they were on their way. They couldn’t wait to be back on stage and do what they loved. Only a few more months on the road and they would be on a three month break. It was hard to believe that just a few months before the tour started, they were not even sure there would be a tour.
“Are you afraid that Isabel will tip over if you let go of her?” David joked as he noticed Séb holding on to Isabel.
“No, I just don’t want to let go of her,” Séb told him.
“I think that is a wise decision. Simon would kill you if you did,” Mary stated her opinion.
“Yes, I know that. He told me when he agreed to let me date Isabel,” Séb said with a smile.
Séb was hoping that Urs would get there soon because he wanted to tell the guys about Gerald being back in their lives. Even though Isabel didn’t say anything, Séb knew that it was bothering her. Ever since David had told him about Gerald being around, Séb had a strange feeling. Something told him that Gerald would be trying to hurt Isabel or maybe one of his friends and he couldn’t let that happen.
“Are you ok, Séb?” Isabel whispered to him.
“I’m fine, Cherie. Don’t worry about me,” Séb smiled at her.
Isabel knew he wasn’t telling her the truth but she had an idea what was bothering him. Hopefully Gerald would stay away from them and maybe him being in Denver had nothing to do with her and Séb. Yes, she knew it was wishful thinking but she couldn’t stand the thought of Gerald being around. She was angry at herself for believing that he had been telling her the truth at the airport because she knew that he couldn’t be trusted. How could she have thought that Gerald would be out of her life forever?
About 10 minutes later, Urs knocked on the door to Carlos’ suite and it was time to fill Urs and Jewel in on Gerald’s appearance in Denver. Urs and Jewel were shocked to hear that Gerald had shown his face again and they hoped that he would disappear soon and leave Séb and Isabel alone. Something had to be done about him what they had no idea what to do to get him out of their lives.
“After talking about Gerald, I think we need some good news. I had an ultrasound done in Spain and we now know if we are having a boy or a girl,” Larissa beamed.
“Are you going to tell us?” Jewel asked with a smile.
“Yes, of course. Not sure if the world is ready for this but we’re having a mini Carlos,” Larissa smiled.
“That is so great. Congratulations,” Mary hugged them.
“Thanks. We’re really excited about it and we can’t wait until he is born. Hopefully we will have time to get the nursery ready,” Carlos said.
“You don’t have to worry about that. We will help you as much as possible,” Isabel looked at the others.
“Isabel is right. We are all here for you,” Séb agreed.
“We know. And to show our gratitude, we would like to buy dinner tonight,” Carlos told them.
“Yes, but here at the hotel. I don’t feel like going out,” Larissa continued.
“What time?” Urs looked at Carlos.
“About 6.30 here,” Carlos replied.
“We will be here. I’m sorry but I think we need some sleep,” Urs said as he looked at Jewel.
They left the suite and shortly after, the other Divos left too. Larissa and Carlos wanted some private time, David, Mary, Séb and Isabel wanted to take a look at New York. They didn’t have a lot of time to look at the city this time because they would be doing three concerts and they would have two soundchecks each day.
As they left the hotel, Séb and David looked around to see if Gerald was around but it didn’t seem like it. Séb put his arm around Isabel and pulled her close as they walked down the street. He had a feeling that Gerald was lurking somewhere and he wanted to make sure that he wouldn’t get his hands on Isabel. Séb was happy that David and Mary were there because it might make Gerald think twice about approaching them.
They decided to have lunch at a small diner and as they were waiting for the food, Gerald walked through the door. He smiled at them before walking over to a table nearby and sat down. It was easy to see that Isabel wasn’t comfortable with Gerald being there and Séb walked up to one of the waiters and asked if it was possible to get the food to go. He returned to the table and told the others that he would take Isabel back to the hotel as soon as they had gotten their food.
About five minutes later, they were on their way back to the hotel and Isabel felt a bit better after leaving the diner but she knew they hadn’t seen the last of Gerald. Isabel and Séb went straight up to their room and enjoyed a private lunch but Isabel still couldn’t relax. She seemed very distant as they ate their food and Séb wanted to tell her that everything would be ok but he was starting to doubt it himself. He couldn’t be there to protect her all the time and as he looked at Isabel, he had a feeling that something bad would be happening soon.
“What’s wrong?” Isabel asked him.
“I was just thinking about Gerald and his reasons for being here,” Séb confessed.
“Can we not talk about him? I want to forget that he is here,” Isabel let out a sigh.
“You’re right. I don’t want to talk about Gerald either. Let’s just finish our lunch,” Séb smiled at her.
At the diner, Mary and David had finished their lunch and David quickly paid the bill and left the diner. He noticed that Gerald was following them, so he didn’t want to go back to the hotel. There was no reason to show Gerald where they were staying, so David had to figure something out. He hailed a cab and they got in, hoping that Gerald wouldn’t hail a cab and follow them. David was relieved to see that Gerald wasn’t following them anymore and he told the cab driver to take them back to the hotel. They walked to their room and talked about their wedding. As Mary snuggled up to David on the couch, she couldn’t wait to be his wife.
Gerald had gone back to his hotel and he was calling every hotel in New York to check if the Divos were staying there but he couldn’t get an answer. He called a good friend and asked him if it was possible to get a ticket for the Il Divo concert the next day but his friend told him that he could only get him a ticket for the second concert. Gerald didn’t care which concert he would be attending because he only had one goal, to talk to Isabel and convince her to leave Séb and he had the information that would make Isabel leave. Gerald felt good about himself as he sat down in front of his computer.
The Divos and the girls met in Carlos’ suite and they talked about meeting Gerald at the diner. Carlos and Urs couldn’t believe that Gerald was indeed stalking them and they both wanted to beat him up for trying to ruin Isabel and her relationship with Séb. He had finally learned the meaning of the word love and there was no way they would let Gerald ruin that. They all talked about Gerald and suddenly it became too much for Isabel.
“Stop it!” Isabel raised her voice, shocking everyone.
“What’s wrong, sweetie?” Jewel asked.
“I don’t want to hear another word about Gerald. He is here but I don’t want him to ruin my evening with my friends. If you can’t accept that, then I will walk out of that door right now,” Isabel told them.
“Sorry, Isabel. We’re just worried about you,” Jewel hugged her.
“I know. I’m sorry for raising my voice but I am trying to forget about him,” Isabel said.
“It’s ok. We won’t say another word about him. Now, let’s enjoy this dinner and our evening together,” Urs looked at her.
Belle had been sleeping but she woke up and the minute she saw Isabel, she reached out her arms to her. Isabel picked her up and Séb watched them closely. Seeing Isabel with Belle brought back memories to his time with Illima in Hawaii. He couldn’t quite understand why he felt comfortable around Illima, a tiny baby that he had no relations to, and felt differently about Belle who was his own flesh and blood.
They spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing and it was close to 11 pm when they went to their rooms. All of the Divo couples spent some adult time before drifting off to sleep. Tomorrow would be busy with soundchecks and a concert and hopefully without Gerald showing his ugly face there.
The next morning, the couples met for breakfast in the hotel restaurant. They had to be at the venue for the first soundcheck at 10 am and then again at 2 pm. The girls promised not to leave the hotel and the guys would take Isabel with them as she had to check the venue. After finishing their breakfast, they all went to their rooms before they had to go to the soundcheck. Half an hour later, they left the hotel and Séb escorted Isabel to meet her contact.
“As soon as you’re done checking the venue, I want you to join me at the soundcheck. I don’t want you to walk around alone,” Séb told her.
“I will be there. Now, go do your thing,” Isabel kissed him.
Isabel and Chris, her contact, walked away and Séb watched them leave. As long as someone was around her, he wasn’t worried. Séb walked back to his friends and they started the soundcheck. After checking the venue, Chris escorted Isabel to see Séb and the guys before he said goodbye and left. Séb seemed more relaxed when he saw Isabel was safe and they continued with the soundcheck.
After the soundcheck, they returned to the hotel and had lunch together before going to their suites for a few hours of relaxing before they had to go back to the second soundcheck. As soon as the guys had left, the girls met downstairs in the hotel bar to talk before they had to get ready for the concert. They enjoyed each other’s company and it was easier to talk without the guys being there. The girls talked about Carlos junior, the upcoming wedding, Il Divo and Belle. They couldn’t believe how much had happened in a short period of time and even though there had been problems, they had a lot to be grateful for.
The girls finished their drinks and went to their rooms to get ready for the concert. When Isabel walked into her suite, she sensed that something wasn’t right but she decided that it was just her imagination. She walked into the bathroom and took a shower before getting dressed. Isabel came out of the bedroom, feeling good and happy but her mood was about to change. She wasn’t prepared for the surprise, waiting for her in the living room.
Downstairs in the reception, the other girls were waiting for Isabel to join them. Isabel was never late and the girls were getting worried. Mary took out her phone and called Isabel but there was no answer. Jewel wanted to check on Isabel and she asked Larissa to watch Belle. As Larissa sat down with Belle, Jewel and Mary went to Isabel’s suite but there was no answer when they knocked on the door. They looked at each other and suddenly they had a bad feeling. They had to get someone who could open the door because something wasn’t right.
Mary ran downstairs to the reception to get a key card for Isabel’s room and Jewel kept knocking on the door, hoping to get some response from Isabel. A few minutes later, Mary returned with the key card and she looked at Jewel when she ran the card through the slot. Their hands were shaking and their hearts were beating fast as Mary gently opened the door to Isabel’s suite. They were not prepared for what was behind the door.

Jewel and Mary walked into the suite and they found Isabel sitting on the couch and Gerald standing right in front of her. When Gerald saw the two women standing there with anger written all over their faces, he chose to walk away. As he reached the door, he turned around and looked at Isabel.
“Think about what I’ve told you, Isabel. He is not who you think he is,” Gerald said before leaving, closing the door behind him.
“What was he doing here?” Jewel asked with anger in her voice.
“He just wanted to tell me something about Séb,” Isabel rose from the couch.
“Care to explain that?” Mary looked at her.
“Gerald wanted to tell me that Séb has a daughter. I tried to tell him that I already knew that but he must be deaf because he didn’t listen to me,” Isabel replied.
“So, he didn’t hurt you?” Jewel asked.
“No, he didn’t. I’m fine but I think we need to talk to the people at the reception. Someone gave him a key card and the room number because he was in here when I came out of the bedroom,” Isabel explained to them.
“I don’t believe this. Wait until the guys hear about this,” Mary was still angry.
“Let’s wait until after the concert. I don’t want them to be angry at stage and we will deal with the people at the reception when we get back,” Isabel suggested.
Jewel and Mary nodded their heads in agreement and they walked downstairs to the reception where Belle and Larissa were waiting for them. On the way to the venue, Jewel told Larissa about what had happened and of course Larissa was shocked. She knew the guys would be angry when they found out and she too agreed that waiting until after the concert was the best idea.
The girls were running late, so they didn’t have time to see the guys before the concert. They found their seats and twenty minutes later, the guys came on stage. The fans had been waiting a long time to see the guys and the atmosphere was amazing. People were enjoying themselves and they gave the guys standing ovations after each song. It was easy to see that the guys loved being back together after being on a two week break and their partners were happy to see them getting along on and off the stage.
As soon as the concert ended, the girls went to see the guys in their dressing rooms. Isabel knew that Séb would want to know why she didn’t come to see him before the concert and she had to tell him the truth. She took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Séb opened the door, wearing only his briefs and she tried to get control of herself. He smiled at her as he took her hand and pulled her into the dressing room, closing the door behind him.
“I missed you earlier,” he kissed her softly.
“I’m sorry but we had some problems at the hotel. I should have called but I couldn’t get to my phone,” she said.
“Something isn’t right. What is going on?” Séb asked as he put on his pants and shirt.
“I will tell you when we get back to the hotel,” Isabel told him.
“Ok. Let’s get out of here then,” Séb grabbed his jacket.
As usual fans were waiting outside of the venue and after spending about 10 minutes with their fans they went back to the hotel. Isabel asked the others to join her in the hotel bar because she had something to tell them and they did as she asked. After being seated and ordering something to drink, Isabel told them about Gerald’s visit. As expected, the guys didn’t take the news well.
“How did he get into our suite?” Séb asked with anger in his voice.
“When we got here, I told the people at the reception not to tell anyone the room numbers but seems like someone didn’t listen. Since I didn’t open the door to him, he must have used a key card to get in,” Isabel looked at Séb.
“I don’t believe it. The guys and I will talk to the hotel manager right now,” Séb looked at his brothers.
The girls watched them leave and they looked at each other without saying a word. They knew that the person responsible for giving Gerald a key card to the suite would be in serious trouble. The young woman at the reception knew that trouble was coming when she saw the guys approach the reception desk.
“Can I help you?” she smiled at them.
“We want to see the hotel manager right now,” Séb answered her question.
“He is not here, Mr. Izambard. He is at home with his family,” she told him.
“I really don’t care where he is or what he is doing. Get him over here now,” Séb raised his voice.
“Urs, take him outside and try to get him to cool down,” David looked at Urs.
Reluctantly Séb walked outside with Urs while David tried to explain the situation to the young woman. As soon as she had heard the story, she picked up the phone and called the manager. He arrived 10 minutes later and David filled him in on what had happened earlier in the day. The hotel manager was shocked and he promised to talk to the person who had been working that shift. He offered them dinner on the house as a compensation for the error made by one of his employees. They hadn’t eaten yet, so they accepted the offer.
After finishing their free dinner, they went to their rooms to relax before bedtime. Séb couldn’t relax and he was driving Isabel crazy as he paced around in the living room. She had no problem understanding why he was angry but he should at least be happy about her being safe. Gerald was unpredictable and it could have ended badly if the girls hadn’t arrived when they did. They had no idea what was going on in Gerald’s twisted mind.
“You’re making me nervous, Séb. Could you please sit down?” Isabel pleaded.
“I’m sorry,” Séb sat down next to her.
“I know you’re upset but can we forget about it?” Isabel looked at him.
“Non! Pretending that it didn’t happen won’t make him go away, Isabel. Gerald was here in our suite,” Séb reminded her.
“You’re right. I’m sorry,” Isabel touched his cheek.
“I just don’t understand how you can be so calm about this,” Séb looked at her.
“Maybe it’s because I know him. I’ve worked with the man for three years and I’m at the point where he can’t surprise me anymore. I just want to forget about him, at least for tonight,” Isabel said as she ran her hand down his chest.
"Come to bed and let's see if I can make us both forget this afternoon and Gerald." Sebastien took her hand and walked to their room.
After closing the door and turning to look at Isabel, he could see the love she had for him shining in her eyes. She always amazed him, she stood up for her beliefs and she never lost faith in him, no matter how much he screwed up. This was the woman of his dreams and he was not letting anything come between them.
He walked to her pulling her into his embrace, he slowly unbutton her blouse, and watched it slowly fall to the floor. She reached up and did the same to him, as his shirt fell to the floor, she reached down and unbuckled his belt and zipper. She pushed his pants and shorts to the floor, watching as he stepped out of them. Soon all clothing was gone and they were skin to skin, they slowly made their way to the bed; kissing and stroking each other as they lay on the bed. They were whispering words of love, as they reached to the stars and beyond.
Later they lay holding each other tight, Isabel drifting off as Sebastien lay there thinking how close he came to losing her, and what needed to be done about Gerald. He couldn't let this crazy man get in their way of having a fulfilling life together.
He drifted off to sleep held safe and tight in her love.
Séb woke up early the next morning and he turned to look at Isabel who was still sleeping. She looked so beautiful and he thought back to the night of passion they had shared. He wanted to do something special for her, so he got dressed and took the elevator downstairs to order breakfast for them. As he got out of the elevator, he spotted Gerald talking to the hotel manager and Séb walked over to them.
“Hello, Sébastien. How are you?” Gerald asked.
“You’ve got a lot of nerve showing up again after what you did last night,” Séb told him.
“I was just paying an old friend a visit,” Gerald said with a grin.
“You forced someone in the reception to give you a key card to our suite,” Séb was getting angry.
“Is this the man who was in your room last night?” the hotel manager asked Séb.
“Yes, this is the man,” Séb looked at him.
The hotel manager called security and two men arrived to escort Gerald out of the hotel. As they reached the door, Gerald turned his head and looked at Séb.
“Isabel deserves to know what kind of man you are. I had to tell her about your daughter,” Gerald said to Séb.
“She already knew about that. You can’t tell her anything that I haven’t told her. Stay out of our lives,” he warned Gerald as the two security guards threw Gerald out.
Séb looked at the hotel manager and thanked him for throwing Gerald out. He knew they hadn’t seen the last of Gerald and he had a feeling that Gerald would be at the concert later. After ordering breakfast, Séb walked back to his suite where Isabel was still sleeping. As he watched her sleep, he knew that they had to inform security and make sure that Gerald didn’t get close to Isabel. He would make sure that she was surrounded by people at all times. Séb removed a strand of hair from forehead before softly kissing her lips to wake her up.
Meanwhile Gerald was walking back to his hotel, thinking of how to hurt both Isabel and Séb at the same time. He still had no idea who Séb’s daughter was or where to find her but he would find out and when he did, it was time for them to suffer. Gerald had a wicked smile on his face when he walked through the door to his hotel. He walked into the hotel bar and ordered a cold beer. His brain, or whatever he had, was filled with ideas and suddenly he knew exactly how to hurt the two people who had betrayed him. ‘They won’t know what hit them’ Gerald thought to himself as he sipped his beer.

It was the day of the second concert in New York thanks to Simon, the Divos and their partners had been moved to four different locations in New York. He didn’t want another episode like the night before and to be on the safe side, he had sent two of his bodyguards to New York to protect Isabel. They would escort her to the venue, keep an eye out during the concert and then escort her back.
“Are you sure you will be ok?” Séb asked as he was getting ready to leave.
“I will be fine. Brian and Mitch will be there with me all the time,” Isabel reassured him.
“Yes, I know that but I’m just worried,” Séb pulled her close.
“I know you are but you need to stay focused on the concert. I will be fine,” Isabel looked up at him.
“It’s time for me to leave,” Séb cupped her head in his hands and kissed her softly.
“We will take good care of her, Sébastien. Simon will kill us if we don’t,” Brian told him.
“Yes, he will and so will I,” Séb looked at him.
“I will see you at the concert,” Isabel said.
Séb kissed her one more time before he walked out of the door. Isabel knew that he was worried about her but he had to focus on Il Divo and the concert right now. About 10 minutes after Séb had left, there was a knock on the door and Isabel jumped up and looked at Mitch. He walked over to the door and he looked through the spy hole to see Simon on the other side of the door. Mitch looked at Isabel with a smile on his face.
“It’s Simon and Melinda,” Mitch said and opened the door.
“How about calling before you arrive?” Isabel looked at them.
“Sorry, honey. We just wanted to surprise you,” Melinda hugged her.
“And you did. What are you doing here?” Isabel asked as she hugged Simon.
“We wanted to be close to you and the others in case Gerald tries to make another move,” Simon told her.
“I have to be at the venue in 10 minutes,” Isabel said.
“No, you don't. I will take care of checking the venue and you will go out and spend some time with the other girls. Melinda will go with you and if Jewel accepts, we will babysit Belle,” Simon smiled at her.
“I like that idea. Thanks,” Isabel kissed his cheek.
“If you get ready to meet the girls, I will talk to these two guys,” Simon looked at Mitch and Brian.
Isabel walked into the bedroom and got ready for her meeting with the girls and the concert later. She wanted to know what was being said in the other room but if Simon wanted her to know, he wouldn’t have told her to leave the room. After she finished getting dressed, she walked into the living room and looked at Simon and Melinda.
Isabel picked up her jacket and they walked out of the hotel with Mitch and Brian following them. They got into the car and drove to the venue. Simon kissed his girls before walking into the venue and Melinda joined Isabel in the café where the other girls were waiting.
They were all surprised to see Melinda there and even more to see the two bodyguards with Isabel. They knew that Simon wanted to keep Isabel safe but they never expected this. The girls were impressed with the bodyguards as they were both big guys and if Gerald tried to get close to Isabel, he was really brave or really stupid.
Melinda offered to babysit Belle until the next day and Jewel couldn’t say no to that offer. It would give her a chance to have some fun with her friends and enjoy some private time with Urs. It wasn’t a secret that Urs and Jewel wanted another baby but it was hard to find some private time and they didn’t want to keep asking their friends to babysit Belle. As the girls were talking, Simon returned to the café to inform Isabel that the venue was ok and everything had been taken care of. All she had to do was to enjoy the concert with her friends.
Jewel kissed Belle before Melinda and Simon walked out of the café with the stroller. They had to pick up a few things for Belle at the house where Urs and Jewel were staying before they went back to the hotel. As Melinda was changing Belle’s diaper, she imagined what it would be like if Isabel and Séb had a baby. Yes, she wouldn’t be a grandma but she would be the closest thing to a grandma the baby would have. Simon walked into the bathroom and looked at Melinda and Belle.
“She is adorable,” Simon walked over to them.
“Yes, she is. Just imagine that you would be a granddad if Isabel and Séb had a baby,” Melinda said with a smile.
“No, I wouldn’t. I’m not Isabel’s dad,” Simon looked at her.
“You’ve been a part of her life for the last 16 years and I believe she thinks of you as a dad, not an uncle,” Melinda smiled.
“Well, I have to admit that she is like a daughter to me and if she wants me to be a granddad to her child, then I won’t say no to that,” Simon kissed Melinda.
They walked into the living room and sat down on the couch with Belle between them. Simon knew how to make Belle laugh and Melinda couldn’t stop smiling when she looked at them. As she watched them play, she wondered what people would say if they saw Simon now. This wasn’t the Simon Cowell you read about in a magazine or watched on TV. No, this was a completely different person and watching him with Belle made her love him even more.
At the café, the girls were having a good time and the main subject was the upcoming wedding. Everyone was excited about the wedding and even though they still had a few months, Mary was getting nervous.
“Everything will be fine, Mary. Stop worrying about the wedding,” Jewel tried to calm her down.
“That is easy for you to say. I want everything to be perfect,” Mary looked at her.
“I know and it will be perfect. The girls and I will make sure that your wedding is perfect,” Jewel looked at the other girls.
“Jewel is right. We will be with you all the way,” Isabel said.
“Thanks! Planning a wedding is really demanding,” Mary sighed.
“Then it’s a good thing that you will only get married once,” Larissa smiled at her.
“Yes. Thank God for that,” Mary laughed.
“It’s time to leave,” Isabel looked at her watch.
Brian and Mitch got up and they escorted the girls to the venue. The girls couldn’t wait to see the guys on stage. They had seen them perform a lot of times but each concert was special because you never knew what would happen. As they arrived at the venue, Brian and Mitch escorted Isabel to Séb’s dressing room and they were waiting outside for her to come out.
“Simon and Melinda are here,” Isabel told Séb as she fixed his tie.
“I am not surprised about that. Simon wants you to be safe and so do I,” Séb looked into her eyes.
“I know. It’s almost time for the concert. I will see you later,” Isabel kissed him before leaving.
After five minutes, Isabel left Séb’s dressing room and was escorted to her seat. Isabel knew that Brian and Mitch were there for her protection but she felt like they were too close to her. Soon after, the other girls joined her and she forgot all about the bodyguards.
The guys made their appearance on stage and as usual they were greeted by cheering fans and the guys loved every minute of it. The girls were proud of them and seeing the guys give the audience what they came for was simply fantastic. When you saw them on stage, it was easy to understand why people loved the guys. They gave everything they had on stage and the mix of singing and joking was just perfect.
After the concert, the girls were escorted out of the venue while the guys were changing. As the girls were outside, Gerald walked up to them and tried to hug Isabel but he was stopped by Brian. Brian was 6’4 and weighed about 220 pounds and he was not someone you wanted to fight.
“Can I talk to you for a second?” Gerald asked Isabel when he couldn’t get pass Brian.
“No, Gerald! You and I have got nothing to talk about. When are you going to understand that I don’t love you?” Isabel asked him.
“This is not about us. This is about you loving a man like Séb. The man can’t be trusted, Isabel. I think it’s time for you to open your eyes and see the real Séb,” Gerald looked at her.
“How long do you want to keep this up, Gerald? Séb may have made a few mistakes in his life but he has changed and I love him. I think it’s about time you understand that and leave us alone. And if you think that your lies will make me run to you, then you’re wrong. I wouldn’t love you if you were the last man on earth. Now get out of here,” Isabel yelled at him.
“You haven’t seen the last of me, Isabel. I will find out who his daughter is and when I do, I will make both you and him pay for your betrayal. You can count on that and I will strike when you least expect me to,” Gerald said and walked away.
“Do you think he will come after Belle?” Jewel asked Isabel.
“I don’t know, Jewel. Gerald is unpredictable and only one person knows what is going on in his head,” she answered Jewel’s question truthfully.
“We need to talk to the guys about this,” Larissa said.
“Yes, we do. I just hope that Urs won’t blame Séb. If he wants to blame someone, he can blame me. I am the reason why Gerald is around,” Isabel looked at them.
“You and Séb are not to blame for this,” Jewel pointed out.
“Jewel is right. There is only one person to blame and that is Gerald,” Mary agreed.
“I know but I still feel guilty,” Isabel said as the guys joined them.
They got into the car and the girls informed the guys about Gerald’s visit. Carlos and David were shocked to hear about the threats made against their friends but Urs and Séb were furious. Gerald didn’t know who Séb’s daughter was but it wouldn’t be difficult for him to find out. He knew exactly who to go to and where to look for information. They had to be extra careful from now on because Gerald could strike tomorrow or next month. The Divo couples agreed to meet for breakfast the next morning to talk more about what to do about Gerald.
Urs and Jewel were the last ones to be dropped off and when they walked into the apartment, Urs walked into the bathroom without saying a word. Jewel wanted to join him but she knew him well enough to know that he needed some time alone to think. He was upset about the threats and he was convinced that Belle was in danger, just like Isabel and Séb were in danger. Jewel walked into the bedroom and climbed into bed, waiting for Urs to join her.
“You do know that Gerald might hurt Belle if he finds out that she is Séb’s daughter, don’t you?” Urs asked as he climbed into bed.
“Yes, I do. We just have to pray that he doesn’t find out. Isabel is blaming herself,” Jewel replied.
“It’s not her fault and it’s not Séb’s fault. Gerald is the one to blame for this mess. I swear to you that if he does anything to hurt Belle or our friends, I will personally make sure that he won’t hurt anyone again,” Urs looked at Jewel.
“We all feel that way but hopefully it won’t come to that,” Jewel snuggled up to him.
“I will not let some nutcase ruin our family and I will do whatever it takes to stop him,” Urs turned out the light.
“I know, Urs. I know you won’t let anything happen to our kids,” Jewel said.
“Kids? We only have one,” Urs reminded her.
“Yes, but hopefully we will have more kids,” Jewel touched his cheek.
“We will. I promise you that,” Urs kissed her forehead and pulled her closer.
As the Divo couples were cuddling closer that night, Gerald was on a plane back to San Francisco. He had to go home and get started on the research that would lead him to Séb’s daughter.
“Your time will come,” Gerald whispered as he looked at a pic of Isabel with the Divos.
He put the pic back in his wallet and closed his eyes.
‘I will have my sweet revenge soon. Nobody betrays me and gets away with it’ he thought as he drifted off to sleep.

*Pre Wedding Night*
After having travelled around the world for nine months, the guys had returned to London to end the tour with two concerts before they went on a well-deserved break. All in all it had been a fantastic tour and the guys had met both old and new fans but they were looking forward to having a few months off before they had to go into the studio to work on their next album.
Larissa was happy to be back in London and she was looking forward to just relax and focus on the baby. During the last month on tour, Larissa had only attended a few concerts because she had been tired. The other girls had taken turns in staying with her and Belle and the girls had gotten a lot closer during that month. Carlos was looking forward to meeting his son and with a little help from his brothers, the nursery was now ready for the arrival of Carlos Jr.
David and Mary were getting excited. Their wedding was only a few weeks away and Mary kept checking her list to make sure that everything had been taken care of. Even after having checked the list 20 times, Mary was convinced that she had forgotten something and David tried to tell her that she had to relax but he found out that he shouldn’t say that to a bride-to-be. Mary wanted their wedding to be perfect and she couldn’t wait to become Mrs. David Miller.
Urs and Jewel had been talking about having another baby and after a lot of negative pregnancy tests, the result was finally positive and in about 7 months they would become parents. They couldn’t wait to meet their baby and all of their friends were happy for them, even Séb. It had come as a surprise to them that Séb had been ok with the news but they knew he had taken another step towards becoming a new person.
Séb and Isabel were busy moving Isabel’s stuff to Séb’s place. During the last weeks on tour he felt that he was ready to take their relationship to a new level and he had asked Isabel to move in with him. Isabel had no doubts when he asked her and now the time had come. The news about moving in together didn’t come as a surprise to Simon and Melinda and they were both happy to see Séb and Isabel taking the next step in their relationship. As far as Simon was concerned, Isabel was the best thing that had happened in Séb’s life.
Gerald had not shown his face since the concert in New York but they all knew that they hadn’t seen the last of him. He would show up again somewhere and they would be ready for him. Simon had done what he could to make sure that nothing would happen to the Divos, their partners and Belle but would it be enough if Gerald decided to strike?
It was the evening before the wedding and the Divo couples were gathered at Simon’s house for dinner. He wanted to say thank you for making him proud once again and he wanted to tell them how happy he was to see how well they were getting along. After a great evening with friends, it was time for the guys and the girls to go their separate ways. The Divos would be spending the night at David’s place and the girls would be spending the night at Isabel’s place.
“I can’t believe that I’m getting married tomorrow,” Mary said as she looked at the girls.
“Well, you are. Being married is great,” Jewel smiled.
“Especially with husbands like ours,” Larissa continued.
“And before you know it you will have a baby Miller,” Jewel looked at Mary.
“It’s not that I don’t want a baby Miller or more in the house but for now I just want it to be Mr. and Mrs. Miller,” Mary looked down at the floor.
“There is nothing wrong with that, Mary. Look at Carlos and Larissa. They’ve been married for a while and their first baby is due very soon,” Jewel took her hand.
“Thanks,” Mary looked at them.
As Isabel watched the three girls talk about marriage and babies, she thought about her own life. She was 32 years old and had just moved in with a man she loved more than life itself, a man she could see herself marrying and growing old with, a man she could see as the father of her children. Suddenly it dawned on her that the baby part might be out of the question. She wasn’t sure how Séb felt about the idea of a baby and she was afraid to ask him. Would he be able to love their baby? He had no love for Belle, his own flesh and blood, so would he be able to love their baby?
“Are you ok, Isabel?” Mary suddenly asked.
“I’m fine. I will get something to drink,” Isabel walked out of the living room.
“I will go talk to her,” Jewel walked after Isabel.
Mary and Larissa watched her leave and they looked at each other, wondering what was wrong. Isabel was making non-alcoholic drinks in the kitchen when Jewel walked in. Without saying a word, Jewel walked over to Isabel and looked at her.
“What is wrong, Isabel?” Jewel asked.
“Nothing is wrong,” Isabel replied as she finished the drinks.
“That’s not true. Tell me what is wrong,” Jewel demanded.
“It’s just stupid. Forget it. Mary is getting married tomorrow and I don’t want to ruin this evening,” Isabel looked at her.
“We are not leaving this kitchen until you tell me what’s wrong,” Jewel sat down.
“It’s just all this talk about children. It’s hard to listen to when I might never have children,” Isabel joined Jewel at the table.
“What makes you think that you won’t have children?” Jewel asked.
“Come on, Jewel. We both know that Séb doesn’t love Belle and she is his own flesh and blood. If he can’t love her, then how will he ever love our baby?” Isabel looked at her.
“Now you listen to me. There is a difference between Belle and your future baby, Isabel. Belle is the result of a one night stand, not the result of love. If you and Séb have a baby, that baby will be the result of love between two people,” Jewel pointed out to her.
“You might be right,” Isabel sighed.
“No, I am right. Tell him about your fears,” Jewel suggested.
“I will try. Thanks,” Isabel hugged Jewel.
“That’s what friends are for. Let’s go back to the other girls and enjoy this evening,” Jewel smiled at her.
Isabel and Jewel walked back into the living room and they had a great time until it was bedtime for them. They had a busy day ahead of them and they really should get some rest.
---- David’s place ----
The guys had a great time at David’s place and just like the girls, they were talking about the wedding. It was hard for David to believe that in less than 24 hours he would marry the woman of his dreams. He had never had any doubts about marrying her because it just seemed right.
“By this time tomorrow you will be part of the married Divo Club,” Carlos sipped his coke.
“Yes, and I can’t wait. If it hadn’t been for the tour, I would have married her a long time ago,” David said with a smile.
“And soon you will have baby Millers run around the house,” Urs looked at his friends.
“Well, I wouldn’t mind that but we haven’t really talked about babies,” David told him.
“You still have time for that. There is no rush,” Carlos pointed out.
“I know. We have lots of time for that,” David agreed.
David, Urs and Carlos continued to talk and listening to his friends talk made Séb wonder if he would ever experience any of it. Would Isabel even marry him if he asked her to? The trip to Hawaii and spending time with Illima had made Séb think a lot about his future with Isabel. He knew he wanted to be with her and moving in together was the first step but he wasn’t sure about marrying her.
“You’re really quiet tonight, Séb. Are you bored with our talk about marriage and babies?” Urs asked.
“No, I’m just listening to what you’re saying,” Séb replied.
“I know your relationship with Isabel is rather new but have you thought of marriage?” David looked at Séb.
“Our relationship is new but yes, I have thought of marriage. You guys make it sound like the best thing in the world,” Séb started to say.
“But?” David asked.
“We all know that I won’t make a good husband or father for that matter,” Séb continued.
“Before the tour I would have agreed with you but not now. You’ve come a long way since then and let’s not forget the most important fact you love Isabel and she loves you. If Isabel didn’t believe in you she would have left a long time ago,” Urs said.
“Urs is right. Isabel wouldn’t have moved in with you if she didn’t believe that the two of you had a future together,” Carlos added.
“You’ve got a point there,” Séb agreed.
“And if you ask her to marry you, she will say yes. Judging by the way she looks at you, I don’t think you have anything to worry about,” David spoke his opinion.
“Thanks, guys. I think we’ve talked enough about me. Now let’s continue to talk about the most important thing right now, the wedding tomorrow,” Séb suggested.
The guys nodded their heads in agreement and they continued to talk for about half an hour before going to bed.
---- Day of the wedding ----
David woke up early the next morning. Today was his wedding day and he couldn’t wait to see Mary walk down the aisle in her dress, a dress David had not seen. Mary had told him that he would be surprised to see the dress because it was not what he would expect. David looked at his own suit before walking into the kitchen to make some breakfast for the guys. Soon after Séb walked into the kitchen and offered to help with breakfast. As they were making breakfast, they continued the talk from the night before. They had company by Carlos and Urs and the four friends talked about what the girls were doing.
“I think they’ve been awake for hours. Mary wants this day to be perfect and she is probably checking her list to make sure she hasn’t forgotten anything,” David laughed.
“You might be right. All four girls want everything to be perfect,” Carlos agreed.
“There is nothing wrong with that,” Urs looked at them, rather offended.
“I didn’t say there was,” Carlos said.
“True. You didn’t say that,” Urs apologized.
“When do we have to get ready?” Séb asked as he sipped his coffee.
“The wedding is at 4 pm and we have to be there at 3 pm. It takes 10 minutes to get to the venue but I think we should leave here at 2.30 pm. So, it’s up to you when you want to start getting dressed,” David replied.
“Great. What are our plans for today?” Séb looked at David.
“We have to go to the venue. I promised Mary that I would be there to help with decorations etc,” David answered with a smile.
“That sounds like fun. When do we leave?” Urs seemed eager to go.
“In about half an hour,” David responded.
“Great. I think we should get ready then,” Urs started to clear the table.
“You heard the Swiss. Let’s go,” Carlos looked at the others.
David was partly right about the girls. They had been awake for hours but they were lying on the floor, chatting and laughing. The stylists would be at Isabel’s place right after noon, so the girls didn’t really have any plans.
“I’m concerned about the bridesmaid dress,” Larissa touched her belly.
“I don’t think you’ve gotten bigger since you tried it on three days ago,” Jewel said.
“It’s not that. I will look like a yellow elephant,” Larissa looked at Jewel.
“No, you won’t look like an elephant. You’re pregnant and you look stunning in that dress. Better than me,” Isabel smiled at her.
“No, I don’t but thanks,” Larissa hugged her.
“I can’t believe that I’m marrying the man of my dreams today,” Mary beamed.
“Well, you are. David is a great guy and you’re perfect together,” Isabel smiled at her.
“They are all great guys and we are all lucky,” Mary looked at her friends.
The girls nodded their heads in agreement and they continued to talk until it was time to get ready for the wedding.

*David & Mary*---- The wedding ----
The guys were back at David’s place, getting dressed for the wedding. When David had told them about the suit, the guys had looked at him like he was crazy but they actually looked handsome in their suits.
After getting dressed, David called Simon to remind him to bring the rings to the venue. David had chosen Simon as his best man because he didn’t want to choose between his brothers and the guys had been ok with David’s choice. David hung up the phone and told the guys it was time to leave. They got into the car and drove off to the venue.
David and the Divos arrived at the venue on time and they were greeted by the hostess who showed them into the lounge. Simon and Melinda joined them a few minutes later and slowly the other guests started to arrive. After greeting David, the guests were shown into the private room where the ceremony would take place. Rose petals, candles and yellow flowers had been placed along the aisle. White chairs on both sides of the aisle and finally yellow flowers at the end of the room where the minister would marry them.
David looked at his watch and it was almost time to get married. He hugged the Divos and walked into the private room with his best man. Outside of the room, the other Divos were waiting for the girls and the bride to arrive. Even though it was David who was getting married, the other Divos were nervous too. They knew the girls would be wearing a yellow dress but they didn’t know what the dress looked like and they couldn’t wait to see them. Suddenly the girls arrived and they looked stunning in their dresses and Belle looked really adorable in her dress.
Each Divo greeted his partner with kisses on the cheek and when the music started playing, they lined up and walked through the door. David smiled at them and his smile got bigger when he saw Mary walking towards him. She looked beautiful and the dress was just perfect. David took her hand and as the minister spoke, David only had one thought in his head and hopefully the minister couldn’t read his mind.
After the vows it was time for the rings. Simon pulled out the ringbox and handed it to David. He opened the box to reveal the wedding rings.
They exchanged rings and the minister completed the ceremony. David and Mary shared their first kiss as husband and wife and it was a beautiful moment. After the ceremony, the happy couple walked outside where a photographer was waiting for them. As David and Mary were having pictures taken, the other guests went for walks in the garden surrounding the venue or stayed in the lounge and talked.
When Mary and David returned to their guests, they were shown into the dining area and it was a stunning room. The yellow color was the main color and everything matched perfectly.
“This is a great place,” Isabel said to Mary as they walked to their tables.
“I know. When I saw this place for the first time, I knew this was the venue. I actually wanted to have the reception outside but this is perfect. Maybe you should get married here too,” Mary smiled.
“No, this is not what I want. It’s a great place but I have other plans for my wedding. If I ever get married that is,” Isabel looked at her.
“Don’t worry, honey. You will get married,” Mary hugged her.
They reached their table and waited for the other guests to find their seats. As soon as they were seated, David got up and welcomed the guests to their wedding. The food was served and everyone was enjoying the party. At one point, all four Divos got up and walked to the end of the room and suddenly they started singing ‘The man you love’.
Mary was moved to tears along with the other girls and some of the guests. The Divos returned to their seats and Mary thanked them for the song. After dinner, it was time to cut the wedding cake and all the guests gathered around the newlyweds and the wedding cake.
After they had finished the cake, it was time for the first dance and David took Mary’s hand and led her to the dance floor. He pulled her into his arms and they danced without paying any attention to the other people in the room. Soon after they had company by other couples and Larissa looked a bit sad when she saw the couples dancing. Since Isabel wasn’t dancing either, Jewel had asked her to watch Belle while Urs and her danced. Isabel loved spending time with Belle, so it wasn’t a problem. They walked over to Larissa and sat down.
“Why aren’t you dancing?” Larissa asked Isabel.
“I don’t have a partner. He seems to have disappeared,” Isabel replied.
“Carlos is gone too but that is ok. I can’t dance anyway,” Larissa complained.
“When is he due to come out?” Isabel pointed at Larissa’s belly.
“Well, it should be next week but I hope it happens today or tomorrow. I can’t wait to meet him,” Larissa touched her belly.
“He will be here before you know it,” Isabel smiled.
Carlos and Séb returned to the table and sat down. Séb looked at Isabel and his daughter. He had learned to accept the connection between Belle and Isabel and the connection between Jewel and Isabel. When he watched Isabel and Belle together, he knew that Isabel would be a great mother someday. She was great with Belle and she was great with Illima.
“Would you mind babysitting Belle while I dance with my girlfriend?” Séb looked at Larissa.
“No, it would be my pleasure. Carlos and I need to practice,” Larissa smiled.
Séb got up and reached out his hand to Isabel. She took his hand and he led her to the dance floor where he pulled her close. He looked at her and he knew they needed to talk later. There was so many things he needed to know before he could make any decisions about their future.
Before they knew it, it was time for David and Mary to leave. After saying goodbye, they got into a limo that would take them to Simon’s private jet that would take them to their honeymoon destination in The Caribbean. Once they were on the plane, they changed into some casual clothes but it didn’t take long before David wanted some private time with his wife. As the plane left London, David carried Mary into the bedroom where he showed her how much he loved her.
Back at the party the guests were starting to leave and the Divos all returned to their homes to relax and get some sleep after a busy day. It had been a great day and now they could look forward to spending a few weeks doing whatever they felt like doing. No concerts or interviews lined up, no hotel rooms and no bad hotel food. Now it was two weeks of home cooked meals unless they decided to go out to dinner. It was just what they needed.
Isabel was already in bed when Séb walked into the bedroom. As he climbed into bed and pulled her into his arms, Séb knew they needed to talk. Maybe this was the perfect time to talk about their future but he didn’t know where to start. Just as he was about to speak, Isabel beat him to it.
“That was a wonderful wedding and Mary looked so beautiful,” Isabel said.
“Yes, she looked beautiful but she wasn’t the only one. You looked beautiful too Cherie,” Séb kissed the top of her head.
“Thanks. You didn’t look bad yourself,” Isabel told him.
“Thanks Cherie,” Séb found her hand and his fingers entwined with hers.
“Can I ask you something without you getting mad at me?” Isabel hesitated a little when asking.
“Of course you can. What’s on your mind?” Séb asked.
“Why don’t you feel anything for Belle?” Isabel looked at him.
“I guess it was just a matter of time before you would ask me that. Belle was a result of a one night stand, not a love filled relationship. If Jewel and I were in love when Belle was conceived, then things would have been different. When I have another child, it will be with the woman I love,” Séb kissed her.
“You said when you have another child,” Isabel said when she broke the kiss.
“Yes, I did. Don’t you want a child?” Séb wondered if he had said something wrong.
“Of course I want a child. I just wasn’t sure that you did,” Isabel smiled at him.
“Not only do I want a child with you, I also want to marry you,” Séb smiled back.
“I had hoped for a more romantic proposal, Sébbie!” Isabel said.
“Well, I could be romantic about it but you would still say yes,” Séb laughed.
“I haven’t said yes,” Isabel pointed out.
“I know but you will. Let’s get some sleep,” Séb pulled her close and kissed her goodnight.

*Calm before the storm*
---- Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa and Beach Resort – St. Lucia ----
Mary and David arrived at their honeymoon destination in St. Lucia and both of them were looking forward to spending the next two weeks in this place. They had their own private beach rondoval with private pool and patio and if they wanted some private time on the beach, they had a private beach cabana. As soon as David had finished checking in, they were shown to their beach rondoval and after unpacking, the two newlyweds changed their clothes and went for a walk.
They wanted to check out the resort and they both knew this place was paradise. It had everything they needed and it would be two weeks of enjoying their honeymoon and each other. They walked back to their rondoval after checking everything out and as soon as they were inside, David pulled Mary into his arms and kissed her deeply. He picked her up and carried her in the bedroom where he showed her how special she was to him.
After sharing their passion, they walked outside to their own private pool to relax before the dinner would arrive. David had arranged to have dinner served in the rondoval because he didn’t feel up to eating at the restaurant, at least not tonight. They would have plenty of time to eat at the restaurant and David wanted tonight to be about him and Mary.
As the sun began to set in the horizon, David and Mary took an exploring shower together before getting dressed. They had just finished getting dressed when there was a knock on the door and David opened it to see a young man with a cart standing on the other side. He told David to leave the cart outside when they were done and he would pick it up later. The young man left and David walked into the rondoval with the cart and they enjoyed their dinner outside by the pool.
The food was excellent and they both enjoyed their first romantic dinner as husband and wife. After dinner was done, David suggested a walk on the beach before bedtime and Mary liked the idea. David shoved the cart through the door before taking Mary’s hand. They left the rondoval and went down to the beach for a moonlight walk.
“I love this place,” Mary looked at David.
“So do I. It’s the perfect place for our honeymoon,” David stopped and pulled her close.
“What is it, Miller?” Mary asked as she looked up at him.
Without answering her question, he gently placed his lips on hers. In response to his kiss, Mary folded her hands behind his head and pushed her body closer to his. David was going out of his mind as he felt his body reacting to Mary being this close to him. He broke the kiss and looked at her and Mary knew what was on his mind.
“Take me home,” Mary whispered to him.
“With pleasure,” David smiled as he took her hand.
As soon as they got into the bedroom, they started to undress each other and they ended up on the bed where they shared their passion.
---- London, Marin household – Early morning ----
“Carlos, I think it’s time,” Larissa poked Carlos.
“It’s too early, mama. I want to sleep,” Carlos mumbled.
“Carlos Marin! It’s time for your baby to see the world,” Larissa raised her voice as she poked him harder.
“I’m awake,” Carlos jumped out of bed and got dressed.
As Carlos was running around the house, Larissa sat on the bed and laughed. Watching Carlos was really amusing and she forgot about being in labor, at least for a while. Carlos returned to the bedroom, picked up his jacket and ran towards the door.
“Haven’t you forgotten something?” Larissa yelled at him.
Carlos returned to the bedroom and took a look around the room. Suddenly he remembered what he had forgotten and he picked up a bag and ran out again. Larissa got up and walked into the hallway when she was hit by a contraction.
“I was talking about me, you stupid idiot,” Larissa screamed out in pain.
“I’m so sorry but I’ve never had a baby before,” Carlos walked over to her.
“You’re not having a baby, I am having a baby. Now take me to the hospital,” Larissa told him.
Carlos helped Larissa get into the car and as he put the bag in the trunk, thoughts were running through his head. At that moment it occurred to him that he was about to become a dad to a baby boy. As he got into the car, he knew that meeting his son for the first time would be worth Larissa screaming and yelling at him. As soon as they arrived at the hospital, Larissa was brought into the delivery room and Carlos had to put on a medical gown before entering the delivery room. As he stood there holding Larissa’s hand, he knew he was about to witness something special, the birth of his son.
---- Willisau – Morning ----
Urs returned to his parents’ house after a motorcycle ride. He had asked Jewel to go with him but she had not been feeling well for a few days and she could sense that Urs needed some time alone, just him and his motorcycle. Jewel knew how much he loved riding through the countryside and even though he never said anything, Jewel knew he missed that in London. The Il Divo schedule had been really busy but now they were on a break and he could spend time on his other passion.
“Where’s Belle?” Urs asked as he walked through the door.
“Your parents took her to the zoo and will be gone all afternoon,” Jewel replied with a smile.
“That’s interesting. How would you like to join me in the shower, love?”Urs reached out his hand to her.
“You go ahead and I will be there in a few minutes,” Jewel kissed him.
Urs turned around and walked to the bathroom where he turned on the water. As the water heated up the tiles, he took off his clothes and waited for Jewel to join him. A few minutes later, Jewel joined Urs in the bathroom and they stepped into the shower where they started to kiss.
---- Paris, France – Morning ----
Isabel was looking at the sun rise behind the Eiffel Tower and the sight was breathtaking. She loved being in the city of love and the desire to live there someday was still strong but she knew it would have to wait. Isabel turned around and smiled when she saw Séb sleeping like a baby. Her love for this wonderful man kept growing stronger and it had been a big relief for her to know that they both wanted the same thing. Isabel had always had an idea of the perfect proposal and Séb’s proposal had been far away from that idea but when she thought about it, how it was done was not important.
Letting out a sigh, Isabel returned to bed and quietly slipped back into Séb’s arms. She wondered why he had chosen Paris for their vacation when there were so many other places to see but it made sense as Séb was from Paris and had a strong connection to the city. Isabel closed her eyes and inhaled Séb’s scent as she drifted off to sleep again.
She woke up a few hours later and called out for Séb but there was no answer. Isabel got out of bed and put on a robe before walking into the kitchen where she found a note on the table.
‘Good morning, Cherie.
I had some things to take care of but will be back soon.
As Isabel read the note she wondered what kind of things he had to take care of in Paris when they were on vacation. Isabel knew that Séb would tell her if he wanted her to know, so she put down the note and walked into the bathroom to take a shower before Séb returned.
Séb returned and as he heard the shower running, a smile appeared on his face. Hopefully he would have time to get everything ready for breakfast. While Séb was in the kitchen making breakfast, Isabel came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body. She could smell the coffee and she knew that Séb was in the kitchen making breakfast. Isabel walked into the bedroom and got dressed before joining Séb in the kitchen.
“Breakfast smells good,” Isabel walked over to him.
“I’m glad you think so, Cherie. Why don’t you sit down while I finish up here?” Séb placed a kiss on her lips.
Isabel sat down and waited for Séb to finish breakfast. He turned off the stove and joined her at the table. Séb poured coffee and juice for her and Isabel wondered what was going on. He was acting really weird and she knew he was up to something.
“We are going shopping after breakfast, Cherie. You will need a dress for tonight,” Séb said with a smile.
“What is happening tonight?” Isabel looked at him.
“I am taking you out to dinner,” Séb answered her question.
“That sounds good, Sébbie but can’t we just stay here?” Isabel asked.
“No, we can’t. I’ve already made reservations at one of the best restaurants in Paris,” Séb told her.
“Oh, ok then. I’m looking forward to it,” Isabel smiled at him.
As Isabel finished her breakfast, Séb watched her closely and wondered how she would react to his big surprise later. He couldn’t wait to see her face when they arrived at the restaurant because it would not be what she expected.
---- Larissa & Carlos ----
“Just one more push, Mrs. Marin and it’s over,” Dr. Graham Burns said.
Larissa pushed as hard as she could while Carlos held her hand and whispered words of comfort to her. A few seconds later, they could hear the baby crying and it was a magical moment for both of them. Carlos leaned down and kissed Larissa as the nurses cleaned up the baby.
“Congratulations. He looks like a healthy baby boy,” Dr. Burns smiled at them.
“With a voice like his father,” Larissa giggled as she heard the baby crying.
“Well, he is my son,” Carlos proudly stated.
The nurse returned with the baby and placed him gently in Larissa’s arms. He looked so much like Carlos with his dark hair and tanned skin.
“I can’t believe he is finally here. Thank you,” Carlos kissed Larissa.
“No, thank you,” Larissa looked at him.
“Welcome to the world, Roberto Marin,” Carlos placed a kiss on his son’s forehead.
---- Jewel & Urs ----
After sharing a passionate love making, Jewel and Urs were lying in bed holding each other close. Urs had his hand on Jewel’s belly and he couldn’t wait to meet his son or daughter for the first time. In just eight months he would be the proud father of two and he felt blessed in every way possible. He had the perfect life with a woman he loved, a beautiful daughter, a baby on the way and of course Il Divo.
“I know it’s a bit early but we need to think of names for the baby,” Jewel said.
“We’ve got plenty of time for that, love. We don’t have to do that now,” Urs kissed the top of her head.
“I know that but I just want to be prepared,” Jewel looked at him.
“You still have eight months left of your pregnancy,” Urs reminded her.
“You’re right. I should relax,” Jewel sighed.
“I can’t wait until he or she is born,” Urs said as he pulled Jewel closer to him.
“I feel the same way, love. Are you hoping for a boy?” Jewel asked him.
“As long as the baby is healthy, I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl,” Urs reassured her.
“Same here,” Jewel said.
Suddenly they heard the voices of Urs’ parents and they got out of bed and got dressed before walking downstairs.
---- Isabel & Séb ----
“How do I look?” Isabel asked Séb as she came out of the bedroom.
“You look beautiful, Cherie,” Séb replied with a smile.
“Thank you,” Isabel smiled back.
“It’s time to leave,” Séb reached out his hand to her.
Isabel placed her hand in his and they walked into the street where a car was waiting for them. The moon was full as they drove through the streets of Paris. The car stopped in front of the Eiffel Tower and Isabel looked at Séb.
“I thought we were going to a restaurant,” Isabel looked at him.
“We are, Cherie. The restaurant is here,” Séb kissed her hand.
As they got out of the car, Isabel looked around but there was no restaurant in sight. Séb took her hand and led her over to the Eiffel Tower and suddenly she saw the sign that said restaurant. As she looked at Séb, he had a big smile on his face. They went up to the restaurant but when they got there, the place was empty.
“What is going on, Séb? Where is everyone else?” Isabel asked.
“In another restaurant I assume. This restaurant is just for us,” Séb kissed her.
Isabel was stunned to hear those words but she didn’t mind being alone with Séb. Just the two of them, alone, enjoying a nice dinner together. Séb had already pre-ordered food and it was delicious. Isabel loved every part of it but she got a bit nervous when Séb suddenly excused himself and left. A few minutes later the lights were dimmed and the sound of ‘Everytime I look at you’ filled the room. Isabel looked around and noticed Séb walking towards her with a small bouquet of red roses in his hand.
“It seemed a lot easier in front of the mirror but I have to do this. I know you are disappointed about the proposal I made and that is why I want to do this right. Isabel Leilani Carrington, will you marry me?” Séb asked as he held her hands.
“Yes,” Isabel smiled with tears in her eyes.
“I’m glad you said yes because the store won’t take this back,” Séb said as he pulled a ring box from his pocket and revealed the ring.
”It’s beautiful,” Isabel said as Séb put the ring on her finger.
“Not as beautiful as you, cherie,” Séb pulled her close and kissed her deeply.
“Je t’aime, Sébastien Izambard,” Isabel said as they broke from the kiss.
“Je t’aime aussi. Let’s get out of here,” Séb whispered in her ear.
“Yes please, take me home and love me, Séb,” Isabel said shyly, looking into his green eyes.
They said goodnight and left the Eiffel Tower. As they drove back to the house they were staying at, both Séb and Isabel believed that nothing could hurt them or their friends now. It seemed like Gerald was gone and they could now focus on themselves. Everything was perfect in Il Divo world. The tour was over, the guys would be working on a new CD soon, Mary and David were married, Larissa and Carlos had their first baby, Jewel and Urs were expecting a baby and finally, Isabel and Séb were engaged to be married.
Little did they know that something big was about to happen. It was calm before the storm.

---- Isabel and Séb ----
“What’s wrong, Cherie?” Séb asked Isabel as they walked out of the airport.
“I’m just thinking of Simon and his reaction when we tell him the news,” Isabel looked at her ring.
“Do you think he will be upset?” Séb stopped.
“I don’t know. He approves of us dating but not sure he will approve of an engagement,” Isabel voiced her concern.
“Listen to me, Cherie. Simon wants you to be happy and you’re happy with me. At least I hope you are,” Séb smiled at her.
“I am happy with you,” Isabel smiled back at him.
“Good. Then we’ve got nothing to worry about,” Séb kissed her softly.
They got into the car and drove to Simon’s house to tell him and Melinda the good news but a surprise was waiting for Isabel at the house.
---- Larissa and Carlos ----
Larissa was resting and Carlos was walking around the room, holding his son in his arms. As he watched his son sleeping, he knew how Urs felt about Belle but he also wondered why Séb couldn’t love something as precious as a baby. He knew Séb has changed a lot and he really hoped that someday Séb would have a chance to experience the joys of fatherhood.
Carlos put his son back in the crib before sitting down next to Larissa. He loved her more than anything and he was forever grateful for their son. Carlos kissed her softly before walking out of the room to talk to the doctor about taking his family home and hopefully the doctor would let him. While Carlos was talking to the doctor, Larissa woke up and looked at her son. He really was the spitting image of Carlos and now she had two special men in her life.
Larissa got out of bed and walked to the bathroom to see to her personal needs. She didn’t close the door because Roberto was still sleeping and she wanted to keep an eye on him. Carlos returned to the room as she came out of the bathroom and he had a big smile on his face as he walked over to her.
“I have some good news. We can go home this afternoon,” Carlos said as he pulled her close.
“That is good news. I can’t wait to take our baby home,” Larissa beamed.
“I feel the same way,” Carlos kissed her.
Carlos and Larissa looked at their son who was beginning to stir and Larissa picked him up. Carlos watched the two most important people in his life and he knew he was living a blessed life. He had a beautiful wife, beautiful son and Il Divo would be recording a new album. What more could he ask for?
---- Mary and David ----
“Are you ready to leave?” David asked his wife.
“Yes, I am. I can’t believe that we’ve been here for two weeks already,” Mary looked at him.
“I feel the same way but on the other hand, I’m looking forward to seeing our friends again and I can’t wait to get started on the new album,” David smiled at her.
“I know. We can still continue our honeymoon in London,” Mary smiled back.
“And we will. That is a promise, Mrs. Miller,” David looked at her.
“I love you, David Miller,” Mary said.
“And I love you. Let’s get out of here,” David kissed her.
They picked up their bags and walked to the reception area to check out. Ten minutes later, the Millers were waiting for the car to take them to the airport. As they drove to the airport, David and Mary talked about their wedding and the honeymoon. It had been two wonderful weeks filled with happiness and joy and hopefully they would have more of that when they returned to London.
---- Jewel and Urs ----
The Buhler family had returned to London and they were happy to be back. They were still thrilled about becoming parents and Urs couldn’t wait to meet his son or daughter for the first time. He had Belle and he loved her as if she was his own flesh and blood and soon he would be a father of two.
“What are you thinking of, love?” Jewel asked as she walked into the living room.
“I was thinking of us, Belle and our baby,” Urs turned to look at her.
“I’ve been thinking of us too. This is the life I’ve always wanted, a wonderful husband and children,” Jewel smiled at him.
“Everything is working out well for all of us,” Urs took her in his arms.
“Yes, the Divos are doing well in their lives. Even Séb seems to be getting his life sorted out and it was about time. Isabel has really changed him,” Jewel looked at Urs.
“He is very much in love with Isabel. I’ve never seen Séb look at Lindsey the way he looks at Isabel,” Urs told her.
“I will never forgive him for what he did to me but everyone deserves to be happy, even Séb,” Jewel said.
“Yes, even Séb deserves to be happy but I don’t want to talk about Séb right now. I want to talk about us, Mrs. Buhler,” Urs placed a kiss on her lips.
“Belle is sleeping,” Jewel whispered to him.
“Then I suggest we take advantage of that,” Urs lifted her into his arms.
---- Simon's house ----
“How was Paris?” Melinda asked as she hugged Isabel.
“It was fantastic,” Isabel replied as she looked at Séb.
“Do you want to tell us something?” Simon looked at both of them.
“Séb proposed and I said yes,” Isabel beamed as she showed them the ring.
“That’s great news. Congratulations,” Melinda hugged both of them.
“Can I talk to you for a minute, Séb?” Simon asked.
“Sure,” Séb responded as he looked at Isabel.
After Simon and Séb had disappeared, Isabel looked at Melinda. They were both shocked about Simon’s reaction and Isabel wondered what would happen now.
“Why does he want to talk to Séb? I am old enough to make my own decisions and I love Séb,” Isabel said to Melinda.
“I know that, honey, and so does Simon,” Melinda walked over to her.
“Yes, I do know that. I wasn’t trying to interfere with your life, Isabel. I won’t stand in the way of the two of you getting married. I just wanted to talk to Séb about something else,” Simon suddenly said.
“Oh, ok. What is it, Simon? You look a bit worried,” Isabel looked at him.
“This came earlier today,” Simon handed her a letter addressed to Isabel.
Isabel took the letter and she looked at the handwriting. ‘No, this can’t be happening. Why can’t he just leave me alone?’ Isabel thought as she opened the letter. She took a deep breath before she took out the letter and read it.
'My dear Isabel,
Yes, it's me again. I just wanted to tell you how special you are to me but I've accepted that we won't be able to have a future together
I will be in London on business next week and I hope we can meet one last time. It will be a meeting you will never forget.
Isabel threw the letter into the fireplace and turned towards the others. She wasn’t sure of what to think at the moment because why it seemed wrong for Gerald to change his mind. No matter what he said, she knew he couldn’t be trusted.
“Bad news?” Séb walked over to her.
“Gerald will be in London next week and he wants to see me one last time. He said it would be a meeting I’d never forget and I don’t like the way that sounds,” Isabel looked at him.
“I don’t like the way it sounds either. He is up to something and I don’t think you should meet him,” Séb said.
“Séb is right. We can’t trust him,” Simon agreed with Séb.
“I know he can’t be trusted and I have no intention of meeting him,” Isabel firmly stated.
“Good. Now let’s talk about something else. Carlos called me earlier and told me that he is taking Larissa and the baby home today. Mary and David are on their way home from St. Lucia and I want to see all of you for lunch here tomorrow 1 pm,” Simon informed them.
“That sounds good. I can’t wait to see the baby,” Isabel said with a smile.
“He looks like Carlos,” Melinda explained.
“That’s not a bad thing,” Isabel looked at her.
“No, it’s not. Carlos is a charming man,” Melinda agreed.
“And I’m not?” Simon looked at her.
“Yes, you’re charming too,” Melinda kissed him.
“Get a room, please,” Isabel laughed.
“Maybe we should go home. I don’t want you to have a nightmare because of those two,” Séb said with a smile.
They said goodbye to Simon and Melinda and went home. As soon as they walked through the door, Séb pulled Isabel into his arms and kissed her with a forceful passion. He wanted to show her how much he loved her, especially now that Gerald seemed to become a threat again.
---- Simon's house, next day ----
The Divos and their partners arrived for lunch at Simon’s house and everyone was interested in hearing about the newest member of the Divo family and of course the engagement. Larissa made everyone laugh when she told them about Carlos almost leaving without her. Carlos pointed out to them it was his first baby ever and he was confused. Any man would be confused in that kind of situation. They were all taken with Roberto and Carlos was proud of his son.
“Have you two decided on a date for the wedding?” Larissa looked at Isabel and Séb.
“No, but we would have been married already if it was up to Séb,” Isabel replied.
“There is nothing wrong with that,” Séb raised his voice.
“I didn’t say there was,” Isabel looked at him.
“I’m sorry, Cherie,” Séb took her hand and kissed it.
“What’s wrong?” David asked.
Isabel informed them of Gerald’s letter and needless to say they were all shocked. Everything was going well for Isabel and Séb and the last thing they needed was to have Gerald around, watching them. Séb told them what Gerald had said about this being the last time they would meet and the words made him feel uneasy. He had a feeling that something bad would happen to Isabel but he couldn’t make himself tell her or the guys about his fears. They would probably tell him not to worry but he didn’t trust Gerald. The man wouldn’t stop until he had gotten his revenge.
After spending most of the day with Simon and Melinda, the Divo couples left Simon’s house after dinner. The couples wanted to relax before the guys had to go to the studio and start recording the new album.
---- A week later ----
The guys had been in the studio for about a week and things were going smoothly with the new album. It somehow seemed easier to make an album this time and they knew in their hearts that this would be the best album ever.
While the guys were at the studio, the girls enjoyed spending some girly time together. They had gone to a café close to the studio and the main subject was the wedding. Isabel confessed to the girls that she had an idea of what her wedding would be like but she hadn’t mentioned it to Séb. She wasn’t sure if he would accept her choice of color but she knew that he would look very handsome in the suit she had found.
After spending an hour at the café the girls decided to go shopping. Jewel found a stunning dress in one of the stores but she didn’t want to bring the stroller into the store. Isabel offered to watch Belle and Jewel happily accepted the offer. As soon as Jewel had disappeared into the store, Isabel walked down the street with the stroller unaware that her life was about to change.
Isabel heard a car speed up and she turned around to see a black car coming towards her and before she could do anything, she felt a pain before she landed on the sidewalk. She heard car brakes and something that sounded like a truck before everything turned black.

*Good News, Bad News*
Jewel, Mary and Larissa had just finished their shopping when they had heard what sounded like whining car brakes and they had no doubts that there had been an accident. They left the store and walked into the street where they noticed a crowd of people gathering further down the street. Seeing the car in front of the truck made them think that the crowd was watching the crash site and they slowly approached the crowd.
“What has happened?” Jewel asked an elderly man in the crowd.
“A young woman with a stroller was hit by a car. The ambulance is on the way,” he replied.
Jewel’s face turned white and her head started spinning. She looked at Mary and Larissa and they were just as shocked as she was. Jewel tried to push her way through the crowd but she was detained by a police officer.
“I’m sorry but I can’t let you through,” he told her.
“That is my friend and my daughter,” Jewel screamed at him as tears were flowing down her cheeks.
“You don’t know that,” Mary tried to calm her down.
“I know it is Belle and Isabel,” Jewel looked at her.
“Come with me,” the police officer grabbed Jewel’s arm and guided her through the crowd as the ambulance arrived.
Larissa couldn’t leave Roberto and she told Mary to go with Jewel as support. Mary followed Jewel and the police officer through the crowd and she could feel the tears forming in her eyes when she saw Isabel and Belle on the ground. Jewel was in shock when she tried to call Urs and when he didn’t answer his phone, she called Simon.
“Simon Cowell,” he said as he answered the phone.
“Jewel……Simon…….problem…..accident….Belle…..Isabel,” Jewel stammered.
“Slow down. What is wrong?” Simon asked.
“Simon, it’s Mary. Isabel and Belle are hurt. The ambulance is about to leave,” Mary managed to say.
“I will get Séb and Urs. I will see you at the hospital,” Simon hung up the phone and ran over to the studio to talk to the Divos.
The guys were in the middle of a song when Simon came through the door and Séb stopped singing when he saw the look on Simon’s face. He knew something bad had happened and he put down his headphones before he left the studio. The other guys followed Séb and Simon looked at them, not knowing how to tell them about Isabel and Belle.
“What’s wrong, Simon?” Séb looked at him.
“There has been an accident and I need you to come with me,” Simon told them before turning to leave.
“What accident? Is anyone hurt?” Séb grabbed Simon’s arm.
“Isabel and Belle are in the hospital,” Simon answered before he walked out.
Séb and Urs ran after Simon, followed by Carlos and David. They caught up with Simon outside and they all went to the hospital together. None of the Divos said anything in the car and Simon wasn’t in the mood to talk either. As they drove to the hospital, Simon wondered if it had been an accident or if someone had done it on purpose to hurt Isabel. He would have to talk to the police about it as soon as possible.
At the hospital, Isabel and Belle were being examined and Jewel was in the room with Belle while Larissa and Mary were in the waiting room. They didn’t believe it was an accident and both of them had an idea who was driving the car but they couldn’t be sure. Larissa was nursing Roberto when the Divos arrived at the waiting room. Both Urs and Séb wanted to know if there was any news but Mary told them no. So far they hadn’t heard anything but they hoped for some news soon.
Simon was still outside of the hospital because he had some phone calls to make and the first call was to Melinda. She was shocked to hear about the accident and told Simon that she would be at the hospital as soon as possible. After hanging up the phone, Simon called the police to get some information about the accident and even though he had an idea of who was behind it, the information he got from the police were unexpected.
After talking to the police for about five minutes, Simon hung up and walked to the waiting room to meet the Divos and the girls. With the information the police had given him, he knew that he would have to talk to Séb in private and only Séb. There had been enough arguments in the group already and if Urs knew what the police had told Simon, it would be impossible for Il Divo to continue. Simon hated doing this to the guys but he had no other choice.
“Have you heard anything?” Simon asked when he walked into the waiting room.
“No, not a word,” Mary sighed.
“Do you think it’s a bad sign that it’s taking so long?” Séb looked at his friends.
“No, it just means they want to be sure,” David said.
“Could I please have a word with you in private, Séb?” Simon walked over to him.
“Sure. The guys will let us know if there is any news,” Séb answered, looking at David.
David nodded his head and Séb left the waiting room with Simon. The others looked at each other and they assumed Simon wanted to talk to Séb because he was engaged to Isabel. Simon and Séb found a quiet place where they could talk without being disturbed.
“What’s on your mind, Simon? I want to get back in case the doctor has some news for us,” Séb looked at Simon.
“I’ve talked to the police and they told me that Gerald was driving the car but that is not why I wanted to talk to you. The police found a folder in Gerald’s car and when they looked inside the folder, they found a copy of the article from The Tattletell Gazette,” Simon informed him.
“Why would Gerald have a copy of that?” Séb asked with anger in his voice.
“It seems like Gerald believed the story and thought that he could hurt you by hurting your daughter. He didn’t know that the story was a lie,” Simon sighed.
Séb looked at Simon without saying anything. He didn’t know what to say but he understood why Simon wanted to talk to him alone. If Urs knew about Gerald having the article, it would ruin everything and he couldn’t deal with that on top of this.
“I want to see Gerald and tell him what I think of him,” Séb glanced at Simon.
“You can see him but you won’t be able to talk to him. He is dead,” Simon told him.
“What? I don’t believe this. He should have been punished for what he did. Death is getting off to easy,” Séb snapped.
“I know how you feel. Isabel is my niece and I too wish he could have been punished but there is nothing we can do about it. Gerald is dead and he won’t bother you or Isabel again,” Simon stood.
“Are we done here? I want to go back now,” Séb stood too.
“We’re done. Just don’t tell Urs about the article in Gerald’s car,” Simon said.
“I won’t. That is between you and me,” Séb promised.
They walked back to the waiting room where the others were still waiting for news. Simon informed them that Gerald had been the one driving the car and that he was dead. Just like Séb, Urs too felt like he had missed out on a chance to make Gerald pay for what he had done. Melinda joined them shortly after and they all sat there in silence, waiting to hear news about their loved ones.
After what seemed to have been a lifetime, a nurse arrived and asked for Urs to join her. She took him to Belle’s room where Dr. Malloy was waiting for him. The nurse returned to the waiting room and told them that Isabel was awake and had been asking for Séb. It seemed strange to Séb because Melinda and Simon were family and it would have made more sense to send them in first.
“You should go first,” Séb looked at them.
“She asked for you, not us. We will see her later,” Melinda smiled at him.
Séb followed the nurse into Isabel’s room and Séb was happy to see that Isabel seemed to be fine. The nurse informed them that the doctor would be there soon and she would give them some private time. As soon as the nurse had left, Séb walked over to Isabel and sat down on the bed before he kissed her softly.
“How are you feeling, Cherie?” Séb asked as he held her tight.
“I feel like I’ve been hit by a car,” Isabel replied.
“That’s not funny, Cherie,” Séb told her.
“I’m sorry, Sébbie,” Isabel touched his cheek.
“It’s ok. We know that Gerald was driving the car,” Séb informed her.
“That doesn’t surprise me at all. I knew he would do anything to get his revenge but why did he bring Belle into it?” Isabel asked.
Séb told her about the folder in Gerald’s car and about Gerald being dead. Isabel was happy to hear that Gerald was dead but she couldn’t help but feeling a bit guilty. Gerald was there because of her and now Belle could be fighting for her life. She never wanted any of this to happen and she really hoped that Belle would be ok. Séb and Isabel were talking when Dr. Seeger walked into the room. He had some news about Isabel’s condition and he believed it would be better to tell them together.
Elsewhere in the hospital, Urs and Jewel were getting an update on Belle’s condition and nothing could have prepared them for what the doctor had to tell them.
“Are you sure?” Jewel asked with tears in her eyes.
“Yes, I’m afraid so. She needs blood and I want you to get tested and any family members or friends too and hopefully we can find a donor,” Dr. Malloy answered the question truthfully.
“We will talk to our friends,” Urs told Dr. Malloy.
When Dr. Malloy had left the room, Urs pulled Jewel into his arms and held her tight. They asked one of the nurses to stay with Belle as Urs would inform the others while Jewel would get tested. The walk to the waiting room seemed very long and Urs wasn’t sure of how to tell them how serious Belle’s condition was.
“How is Belle?” Mary asked when Urs walked through the door.
“Not so good. Dr. Malloy says she needs blood and we have to find a donor soon. I want to ask all of you to get tested,” Urs tried to hold back his tears.
“We will do that right now,” David walked over to him.
“Thanks,” Urs said.
They walked down to the lab to get their blood tested and all they could do was to wait for the result and they hoped to have that result soon. Belle’s life was depending on finding a donor within 24 hours.
---- Isabel’s room ----
“Looks like you were lucky, Isabel. You have a mild concussion, a few bruises, a sprained foot and finally a sprained wrist,” Dr. Seeger said.
“Someone must have been watching over me,” Isabel smiled.
“Yes, it looks like it. Both you and the baby are fine,” Dr. Seeger smiled back
“The baby? Belle is not my daughter,” Isabel was confused.
“I know that and I’m not talking about Belle,” Dr. Seeger looked at Isabel.
“But then I don’t understand what you’re talking about,” Isabel said.
“I’m talking about the baby that you obviously don’t know that you’re expecting,” Dr. Seeger smiled.
“I’m pregnant?” Isabel asked.
“Yes, you’re about a month pregnant,” Dr. Seeger laughed.
Isabel looked at Séb and he just sat there without saying anything. He was stunned to hear the news and he didn’t know what to do. They had been talking about having children and now it was really happening.
“I will leave the two of you alone. Congratulations,” Dr. Seeger got up and left the room.
“Say something,” Isabel turned to look at Séb.
“We’re having a baby. I can’t even describe how happy I am,” Séb kissed her deeply.
“I love you, Sébastien Izambard,” Isabel whispered.
“I love you too, Cherie,” Séb touched her face.
“May we come in?” Melinda suddenly asked.
“Of course,” Séb replied with a big smile on his face.
Melinda and Simon walked into the room and hugged Isabel before sitting down. They looked at Isabel and Séb and they knew that something was going on. The smiles on their faces indicated that it was something good and he felt bad about telling them some bad news.
“What’s going on with the two of you?” Melinda looked at both of them.
“Well, I’m pregnant,” Isabel beamed.
“That is good news, honey,” Melinda smiled.
“What is wrong, Melly?” Isabel asked.
“Nothing is wrong,” Melinda lied.
“I know you, Melly. Tell me,” Isabel begged.
“Belle’s condition is serious. She needs blood and everyone is being tested and hopefully they can find a donor,” Melinda explained the situation.
“I think you should keep the pregnancy a secret until Belle is out of danger,” Simon suggested.
“Of course we will keep it a secret. How are Urs and Jewel doing?” Isabel was concerned.
“Not good but it is to be expected. Their daughter is fighting for her life,” Simon replied.
“I want to get tested too. Maybe I’m a match,” Isabel said.
“That sounds like a good idea. We have to leave now but we will be back tomorrow,” Melinda smiled.
Simon and Melinda said goodbye and left the room, leaving Isabel and Séb to talk. Isabel knew that Séb didn’t have any feelings for Belle but maybe he could help save her life. He was her biological dad and he could be a match but would he help? There was only one way to find out. Isabel took a deep breath and looked at Séb.
“I know what you’re thinking and the answer is no,” Séb surprised her by saying.
“You don’t know what I was thinking of,” Isabel pointed out.
“You want me to get tested to see if I am a match, don’t you?” Séb walked over to the window.
“Yes, I do. No matter what you say, you are her biological dad and that will never change,” she answered his question.
“I can’t do it. I don’t have any feelings for Belle and you know it,” Séb turned to look at her.
“Let me ask you something. If Urs was Belle’s biological dad and you were raising her, wouldn’t you want him to help if he could?” Isabel glanced at him.
“Yes, I wanted him to help but that is different,” Séb raised his voice.
“Don’t you raise your voice, Sébastien Izambard! Stop being so stubborn and help your daughter. If not for her, then do it for Urs,” Isabel was getting angry.
“Non, I can’t do it. Even if I wanted to, Urs would never let me near his daughter. This discussion is over,” Séb walked out of the room.
Isabel knew that she shouldn’t get upset but she couldn’t understand why Séb was acting this way. Belle was his daughter and she needed help. How could he be so cold? She knew he wouldn’t change his mind but she could always hope. Letting out a sigh, Isabel closed her eyes and hopefully she would wake up to a new and better day.

Séb was standing outside of Isabel’s room and his conversation with Isabel echoed in his mind. He felt bad about having said what he did but he just wished people could see things from his point of view. Why was it so hard for them to understand how he felt? Maybe he was wrong for feeling like that but that was just the way it was and nothing would make him change his mind.
He opened the door to Isabel’s room but she seemed to be sleeping and he didn’t want to wake her up. It had been a rough day for her and she needed the rest, especially now that she was pregnant. As he stood there, he realized that he was going to be a dad and he felt a fear rush over him. What if he couldn’t love this baby? Belle was his daughter but he felt nothing for her. Suddenly Séb realized that this was the first time he had actually admitted that fact to himself.
He closed the door to Isabel’s room and walked down the hall. As he passed by one of the other rooms, he could hear a woman’s voice singing ‘Baby Mine’. Séb gently opened the door to see Jewel sitting by Belle’s bed, holding her hand as she sang to her with tears streaming down her face. He looked around the room to see if Urs was there but there was no sign of him. Séb wanted to leave but he couldn’t. Something was keeping him there and he had no idea what it was. He walked into the room and joined Jewel by the bed.
“Hi,” he said.
“Hi. I’m surprised to see you here,” Jewel looked up at him.
“I know but something told me to come here. I will leave if you don’t want me here,” Séb told her.
“No, it’s ok. You can stay,” Jewel looked back at Belle.
“How is she doing?” Séb asked, not sure if it was a good idea.
“Not good. She needs a blood transfusion but none of us match,” Jewel cried.
Séb didn’t know what to do. Urs was the one who should be here comforting Jewel but where was he? Jewel continued to cry and Séb had no other choice but to try and comfort her. He walked over to Jewel and pulled her into his arms and he was surprised when she didn’t try to pull away. As he stood there, he suddenly remembered what Isabel had told him and he knew what he had to do.
“I am ready to help if I can and if you will let me help,” Séb surprised her by saying.
“But why?” Jewel pulled away.
“It was something Isabel said to me. She asked me how I would feel if Urs had been the biological dad and he refused to help his daughter and I told her that I would want him to help,” Séb answered.
“If you can help, then we will accept,” Jewel smiled at him.
“No!” Urs suddenly said.
Jewel and Séb turned around to see Urs standing in the room. His eyes were narrowed and he didn’t look happy. Séb let go of Jewel and pulled away from her as Urs came closer.
“What do you mean by no?” Jewel asked him.
“I don’t want Séb to help,” Urs looked at her.
“Can you wait outside, please?” Jewel looked at Séb.
“Sure,” Séb said and left the room.
“I can’t believe you said no, Urs. He wants to help your daughter. Why won’t you let him help?” Jewel sat down.
“I don’t want Séb to be involved in our lives. If he helps, then I might lose both you and Belle and I don’t want that,” Urs admitted with tears in his eyes.
“What are you talking about? How would that make you lose us? Are you afraid of losing us to Séb?” Jewel asked.
“Yes, I’m afraid of losing you to Séb. I’m afraid that he will take you away from me,” Urs confessed.
“I love you, not Séb and I would never leave you,” Jewel touched his cheek.
“I know you love me but seeing Séb hold you in his arms freaked me out,” Urs looked at her.
“He was just comforting me, nothing more. Please, let him help our daughter if he can,” Jewel begged.
Urs looked at her and he was just about to speak, when there was a knock on the door. It was Séb and he looked like he had heard everything.
“I’m sorry for interrupting but I want to say something. If you let me help, then I promise to stay out of your lives forever. I’ve done a lot of things that I am not proud of and I know that I can never make things right but I am willing to help save your daughter if I can. I will be in Isabel’s room if you need me,” Séb disappeared.
As soon as he was gone, Jewel looked at Urs with tears in her eyes. Urs knew what he had to do and he kissed Jewel deeply before leaving Belle’s room. Jewel sat down next to Belle and took her tiny hand. She looked at her daughter and hopefully Urs was on his way to Isabel’s room to talk to Séb.
---- Isabel’s room ----
Séb had returned to Isabel’s room and he was sitting next to the bed watching her sleep. He gently took her hand in his and he couldn’t believe how lucky he was. His life had changed so much since the cruise and now he was engaged to be married and he was going to be a dad. Séb was just about to kiss Isabel when he heard a knock on the door. He turned around and saw Urs standing there.
“I’ve been thinking about it and I can’t lose my daughter. If you can help save her, then I won’t stand in your way,” Urs said.
“I will get tested right now,” Séb looked at him.
“Thanks, Séb,” Urs turned and left.
“I’m proud of you for doing this but what made you change your mind?” Isabel asked.
Séb told her about what had happened in Belle’s room and Isabel was surprised to hear the story. It was not something she would have expected but she was pleased to hear that they had talked without getting into an argument.
“I’m glad I could help. Now, go get tested and hopefully you’re a match,” Isabel smiled at him.
“I have so many things I want to say,” Séb looked at her.
“You can do that when you get back. I will be here,” Isabel kissed him.
“Je t’aime,” he whispered to her before he left.
As soon as he was gone, Isabel leaned back and closed her eyes. She had a good feeling about this and she knew that Séb would be a match. Isabel opened her eyes when she heard the door open and David’s smile was the first thing she saw. They wanted to see how she was doing and she told them everything, except for the fact that she was pregnant. This was not the time or place to talk about that.
It had been 20 minutes since Séb had left and Isabel was getting a bit worried but she relaxed when the doctor came and told her that Séb was getting ready for the transfusion. He was a perfect match and all they could do now was to wait and hope for the best.
After kissing Belle and telling her how much they loved her, Urs and Jewel joined the others in Isabel’s room. Jewel looked tired and Isabel felt sorry for her and Urs and somehow she felt a need to apologize to them. If she hadn’t offered to watch Belle while Jewel went shopping, Belle wouldn’t have gotten hurt.
“Are you ok, Isabel?” Jewel asked.
“No, I’m not. I want apologize to you and Urs,” Isabel said.
“Apologize for what? You haven’t done anything wrong,” Urs looked at her.
“I brought Gerald into your lives and Belle is in here because of me. If I hadn’t offered to watch her, then we wouldn’t be here. Well, I would be here but Belle wouldn’t,” Isabel replied.
“Listen to me, Isabel. The only one to blame for this is Gerald and he is dead. Stop feeling guilty,” Jewel took her hand.
“I will stop feeling guilty when Belle is safe and out of danger,” Isabel said.
“Have you thought more about your wedding?” Larissa tried to change the subject.
“Yes, I have but it will only happen if Séb agrees to it. It’s his wedding too,” Isabel told them.
“Tell us your ideas,” Larissa smiled.
“Well, I’ve found a chateau in Paris and it’s just perfect. I was thinking out an outdoor reception but will have to talk to Séb about it,” Isabel beamed.
“It sounds wonderful, Isabel and I am sure Séb will approve,” Larissa said.
“We have to find a date first before we start planning,” Isabel reminded her.
“That’s true but there’s no rush,” Jewel looked at her.
“You’re right but I just want the date sorted out,” Isabel avoided looking at them.
“What is it that you’re not telling us?” Mary asked.
“Nothing,” Isabel lied.
“You’re hiding something, Isabel. Tell us,” Mary demanded.
Isabel didn’t know what to do because she didn’t want to lie to her friends but she wanted Séb to be there when she told them the news. Somehow the timing was bad. They all looked at her and she was about to say something when Dr. Seeger walked in.
“Everything went just fine. Belle will be back in her room within five minutes and Séb will be here soon,” Dr. Seeger said.
“That’s great news. Thank you, Dr. Seeger,” Jewel said with tears in her eyes.
“You’re welcome,” Dr. Seeger smiled before leaving.
As soon as Dr. Seeger was gone, they all let out a sigh of relief. Belle was now safe and Séb had done what any father would do to save his child. Urs and Jewel excused themselves and went down to Belle’s room to see their daughter.
---- Belle’s room ----
“Can I be alone with her, please?” Séb asked the nurse who was looking after Belle.
“Sure. I will be right outside,” the nurse left the room.
Séb walked over to Belle’s bed and sat down. He looked at the small child in the bed and he took her hand in his.
“I just wanted to tell you that you’re a lucky girl. Your parents love you very much and you are their pride and joy. Hopefully I will be as good a father to my unborn child as Urs is to you. Your mom and dad will be here soon and I have to leave you now. They don’t like me very much and I don't blame them. I’m happy you’re ok, Belle and remember that uncle Séb is looking out for you. Au revoir,” Séb kissed her cheeks.
When he turned to leave, he saw Jewel and Urs by the door and he knew that he was in trouble now. He had made a promise to Urs about staying out of their lives and now he was alone with Belle. Urs started walking over to him and Séb didn’t move because Urs had every right to be angry and if he wanted to hit him, he wouldn’t stop him. He was ready for whatever punishment Urs had in store for him.

As Urs drew nearer to him, Séb really thought Urs was going to hurt him for being with Belle and he was only waiting for Urs’ fist to make contact with his face but that didn’t happen. Urs knew that it would be wrong of him to hit the man who had just saved his daughter’s life, a man who had changed enough to give Belle a chance to survive and fulfill her destiny.
Urs had thought about how Seb had said he would stay out of their lives forever, but he had no right to ask that of Séb now. How could he make a demand like that? If it hadn’t been for Séb, Belle would not exist and his life might have been different in more ways than one. He had a family and Séb was part of his extended family, one that meant the world to him, his Divo brothers.
When he reached Belle's bed, he looked at Séb before putting out his hand to him. Séb wondered for a few seconds what to do but when Séb finally took it to shake, Urs surprised him by pulling him into a hug.
“Thank you, my brother,” Urs said to him
Jewel had tears in her eyes as she watched the scene in front of her and she was stunned at the emotions she could read in Urs’ face. She was glad all the bad stuff had come to an end with that hug and it was time to move on from the past.
Once Séb and Urs parted, they stood on each side of Belle's bed and took her hands in theirs as each gave her a kiss. Séb may have openly claimed to not love her, but Urs knew better and it would be his secret to take to his grave.
All he wanted was to move forward with the other guys and have a happy family with Jewel, Belle and their unborn baby. He was looking forward to holding his baby in his arms and Urs hoped that one day Séb would become a father to a child with Isabel and he too would be able to experience the joys of having a child to love.
Urs held out his hand to Jewel and when she stepped into his embrace, he kissed the top of her head and held her tight. He knew Séb loved Isabel and would never be a threat to his marriage to Jewel. Urs was at peace now and nothing would ever get between him and Jewel again.
Over the next two months, the guys finished their new album and they were enjoying their time off. Belle and Isabel had both recovered completely and Isabel had told their friends about the pregnancy. With the wedding being moved forward due to Isabel’s pregnancy, the Divo couples were busy helping Isabel and Séb with the planning. Everything was perfect in Divo world and the Divos seemed to be closer than ever before. It was like they had been given a new start and they would not waste it by arguing or fighting.
---- Two months later ----
It was the day before the wedding and the Divo couples arrived at Sundridge Park Manor in Kent which would be the setting for Isabel and Séb’s wedding. Isabel had her heart set on a castle wedding in France but after talking it over with Séb, they both agreed on getting married in England and they had found the perfect venue. After checking in at the venue, Séb and Isabel wanted to make sure that everything was ready for their big day.
“Are you upset about not getting married in France?” Séb asked Isabel as they walked back to their suite.
“No, I’m not. The location is not important as long as I am marrying you,” Isabel answered.
“I’m glad to hear that. I just want you to be happy,” Séb stopped and pulled her into his arms.
“I am happy and it’s all because of you,” Isabel looked into his eyes as she folded her hands behind his neck.
“Je t’aime, Cherie,” Séb whispered before his lips made contact with hers.
They walked back to their suite to relax a bit before dinner time. Simon had insisted on having a rehearsal dinner with family and friends and since both Isabel and Séb knew that there was no point in arguing with Simon, they had agreed to it. When they got back to their suite, Séb locked the door behind them to have some private time with Isabel before dinner. He pulled Isabel into his arms and kissed her deeply as his hands began to undress her. Once they were both undressed, they made love before they had to get dressed for dinner.
When Isabel and Séb walked into the restaurant, their friends and family were already there. Séb’s family had been brought in from Paris and Isabel’s family had come from America to participate in the wedding. Dinner was served and everyone seemed to be having a good time. They talked about the wedding and all of the dinner guests wanted to know where they were going on their honeymoon but Isabel and Séb had no idea since Simon had planned the honeymoon. He wanted it to be a surprise and it certainly would be.
People started to head to their rooms after coffee had been served but the Divo couples stayed for a little while longer. As the other Divo couples looked at Isabel and Séb, they couldn’t believe that the man sitting in front of them was the same man who had been living his life as a playboy. He really had come a long way since then and now he was to marry the woman he loved.
It was half an hour later when the Divo couples walked to their suites to get some sleep. Since Séb had chosen Urs as his best man, Urs would spend the night in Séb’s suite while Isabel would be staying with Jewel.
“By this time tomorrow I will be Madame Izambard,” Isabel giggled.
“Madame Izambard doesn’t sound good, Cherie. You will be Mrs. Izambard,” Séb smiled at her.
“That does sound better,” Isabel smiled back.
“Yes, much better. It’s getting late and we both should get some sleep,” Séb pulled her into his arms.
“I agree. We can’t be tired for our wedding,” Isabel kissed him.
“Je t’aime, Isabel Carrington and I will never let you go,” Séb said.
“I love you too, Sébastien Izambard and I will see you tomorrow,” Isabel smiled before she left.
Séb watched her leave and he couldn’t wait to see her in her wedding dress the next day. He walked into the suite with a smile on his face and Urs joined him shortly after. They talked for a few minutes before Séb walked into the bedroom and climbed into bed. He drifted off to sleep, thinking of Isabel.
“Are you nervous?” Urs asked Séb as they were getting dressed.
“Of course I am nervous. I’m getting married, Urs,” Séb reminded him.
“I know you are and being nervous is normal,” Urs padded him on the shoulder.
“Do you have the rings?” Séb asked.
“Yes, they are in my pocket. Don’t worry, Séb. Everything is under control,” Urs assured him.
“Good,” Séb said as he put on his jacket.
“We’re here,” David and Carlos walked into the suite.
“Great. What time is it?” Séb looked at his friends.
“Almost time to get married. We have to be downstairs in ten minutes,” Carlos replied.
“Well, I’m as ready as I will ever be,” Séb smiled.
“Then let’s go,” David said.
While the Divos were heading downstairs, the girls were in Jewel’s suite getting ready. Isabel came out of the bedroom in her wedding dress and she looked stunning.
“I wish your parents were here to see this,” Melinda said.
“They are here,” Isabel smiled.
“I know they are. They would have been proud of you,” Melinda hugged her.
“Thanks, Melly. Where is Simon?” Isabel asked.
“I’m here. Sorry I’m late but had to make a phone call. You look beautiful,” Simon kissed Isabel’s cheek.
“Thank you, uncle Mons. I think it’s time to get married,” Isabel beamed.
Melinda, Jewel, Larissa and Mary left the suite and Simon looked at Isabel. He had been honored when she had asked him to walk her down the aisle and even though Isabel was not his daughter, he felt like he was her dad.
“Are you ready, sweetheart?” Simon asked.
“Of course I am ready,” Isabel kissed his cheek.
They left the suite and walked down the large staircase and into the garden where the ceremony would be held. Isabel and Simon were hidden from Séb and the guests but Isabel could see them. They all looked so handsome in their suits and the bridesmaids and Belle looked beautiful in their dresses.
The music started playing and it was time for Isabel and Simon to start their walk down the aisle. Séb was speechless when he saw Isabel walking towards him. She looked stunning in her wedding dress and he had never felt as much love as he did at that moment.
As they reached Séb, Simon kissed Isabel’s cheek before he gave her hand to Séb. Séb kissed her hand before they turned to the minister. After saying their vows, it was time to exchange rings and Urs took out the ring box and handed it to Séb. They exchanged rings and the minister pronounced them husband and wife. Séb pulled Isabel close and kissed her softly.
“I can’t believe we’ve done it,” Séb whispered to her.
“Well, we have done it and you’re stuck with me, Sébbie,” Isabel smiled.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way, Mrs. Izambard,” Séb smiled back.
After congratulating the happy couple, the guests returned to the manor while Isabel, Séb and the closest family stayed in the garden for pictures. Ten minutes later, Séb and Isabel walked into the dining room and everyone took their seats and waited for the food to be served. Everyone was having a great time and before they knew it was time for the first dance but Simon had other plans. He had been talking to Melinda about a father/daughter dance and they both agreed to do it.
Simon walked over to Isabel and told her it was time for the father/daughter dance. Isabel smiled at him as she got up and followed him to the dance floor.
“I hope you don’t think this is inappropriate,” Simon asked as they danced.
“Not at all. It means a lot to me,” Isabel answered with a smile.
They danced until they were interrupted by Séb who wanted to dance with his wife. Simon placed Isabel’s hand into Séb’s and walked over to Melinda. They watched the happy couple dance around the floor and it was a moment they would never forget. After the dance, it was time to cut the cake and people gathered around Isabel and Séb as they fed each other cake.
It was almost midnight when Simon approached Isabel and Séb to tell them it was time for them to leave. The limo was already there and would take them to the airport where Simon’s jet would be waiting to take them to a destination unknown to them. Only Simon and Melinda knew where they were going and Simon couldn’t wait to hear what they thought of his surprise. Isabel and Séb said goodbye to their guests and left the manor after a wonderful day with family and friends.
On the way to the airport both Isabel and Séb wondered where they were going but they couldn’t figure it out. It didn’t really matter where they were going as long as they were together. Isabel snuggled up to Séb as they drove to the airport and they couldn’t wait to have some privacy. They arrived at the airport and shortly after they were on board Simon’s private jet where they could start their honeymoon with a glass of champagne and snacks. After enjoying a glass of champagne, Séb couldn’t wait any longer. He smiled at Isabel as he reached for her hand and led her into the bedroom. As the jet left the ground, Séb and Isabel showed their love for each other.

”We will be arriving in San Francisco in 20 minutes,” the stewardess smiled.
“Thanks,” Séb said and turned to Isabel.
“San Francisco? It’s our honeymoon and I had hoped for something a little more exotic,” Isabel didn’t try to hide her disappointment.
“I know,” Séb hugged her.
“What are we supposed to do for two weeks in San Francisco?” Isabel complained.
“I can think of one thing,” Séb winked at her.
“I’m serious, Sébbie,” Isabel said.
“So am I,” he kissed her.
“I’m sorry but I’m just disappointed,” Isabel sighed.
“Really? I hadn’t noticed,” Séb laughed.
Isabel stuck her tongue out and looked out of the window. She had never been so disappointed in her life and she couldn’t believe that Simon would do something like this to her. They were both disappointed but they had to look at the bright side because they weren’t going to let this ruin their honeymoon.
It was 20 minutes later when the jet landed in San Francisco. Isabel still couldn’t believe that Simon had planned a honeymoon in San Francisco and she would tell him that when she talked to him. Séb took her hand as they got off the jet and they walked into the airport where they were met by a young man. He informed them that he would be driving them to their next destination. They got into the limo and drove off.
After about 45 minutes, they had arrived at their destination and Isabel was speechless. She looked at Séb and he was just as surprised as she was. They got out of the limo and looked at the ship in front of them. It was ‘Pride of America’ and Isabel had a big smile on her face when she saw Captain Anderson standing by the landing. Séb took her hand and they walked onboard the ship and as they reached the top of the landing, Captain Anderson smiled at them.
“It’s a pleasure to have you on board the ship again,” he said.
“Thank you. It’s good to be back,” Isabel smiled.
“Congratulations on your wedding,” Captain Anderson smiled.
“How did you know?” Isabel looked at him.
“Does the name Simon Cowell ring a bell?” he asked.
“Uncle Simon. I should have known,” Isabel replied.
“Follow me,” Captain Anderson said.
Isabel and Séb followed him to their suite and as soon as he was gone, Isabel started to unpack their bags before they walked to the coffee bar to get some coffee. Isabel wondered if her friends were still working here because she hadn’t spoken to them in a while.
“Looks like it will be a good honeymoon after all,” Séb smiled at her.
“Yes, it sure does but don’t tell Simon that I was disappointed,” Isabel kissed him.
“I won’t say a word. Why don’t we take this coffee to go? The outdoor Jacuzzi looked really interesting,” Séb winked at her.
“I like the way you think,” Isabel smiled back.
They left the coffee bar and walked to their suite to change into bathing suites. They climbed into the Jacuzzi and it was a wonderful feeling. Their suite was facing the water and the Jacuzzi was hidden from people in the neighbor suites. Séb pulled Isabel into his arms and began kissing her as his hand wandered down her body.
Before things got too far, Séb got out of the jacuzzi and pulled Isabel with him. He reached for a towel and dried them off before he led her into the bedroom. Séb gently pulled Isabel into his arms and continued what he had started in the Jacuzzi.
The ship had left San Francisco when Isabel and Séb had finished their love making and it was time for the two of them to get ready for dinner. They both wanted to stay in their suite but it was captain Anderson’s birthday and they had been invited to sit at his table. After staying in bed for a few more minutes, Isabel slipped out of Séb’s embrace before she walked into the bathroom for her shower.
While Isabel was showering, Séb stood on the balcony and looked at the water as his mind drifted back to the events that had taken place since he met Isabel. He couldn’t believe how much his life had changed and he thought of what kind of life he would be living if he hadn’t met Isabel. Would he have continued to be a playboy, sleeping with every woman who wanted him? He turned around as he heard the bathroom door open and the sight of Isabel in her blue dress took his breath away.
“How do I look?” Isabel asked.
“You look beautiful, Cherie,” Séb smiled.
“Thank you. You should enjoy the view now because soon you won’t say those words to me,” Isabel let out a sigh.
“What are you talking about?” Séb walked over to her.
“When I get fat and ugly you won’t say that I look beautiful,” Isabel looked at him.
“I love you, Cherie. You will always be beautiful to me,” Séb kissed her softly.
“Thanks. You should start getting ready,” Isabel smiled at him.
Séb kissed her once more before he headed into the bathroom. Ten minutes later he returned and put on the suit Isabel had picked out for him. Isabel wanted him to wear something else than black and she had found a white suit with light blue vest and light blue/grey tie and it was a perfect match to her dress.
“Are you ready, Cherie?” Séb asked as he held out his hand to Isabel.
“Yes, I am ready,” Isabel placed her hand in his.
They left the suite and walked to the restaurant for a nice evening. Isabel was nervous because she would be meeting some of her old friends from her time on ‘Pride of America’ but Séb told her to calm down. She took a deep breath before they walked through the door to the restaurant but when she spotted some of her friends, she forgot about being nervous.
After spending time with Isabel’s friends after dinner, Isabel and Séb walked back to their suite to enjoy a little private time. They wanted to plan the next two weeks onboard the ship and Séb suggested to do a few of the same things they did when they met and maybe add a few new trips. Isabel loved the idea and she was especially looking forward to the sunset cruise.
As soon as they had finished planning their cruise, Séb wanted to do what he had been thinking of during dinner. He pulled Isabel into his arms and kissed her passionately on the lips as his hand began unzipping her dress. Séb rose from the couch and pulled Isabel with him. Without saying a word, he led her into the bedroom and continued what he had started in the living room. They made love until sleep finally caught up with them.
Over the next two weeks, Isabel and Séb enjoyed their honeymoon and each other. When they reached Hawaii, they contacted Maile and Kanoa and made plans to have dinner together. They decided to try the helicopter ride that Séb had cancelled because of Gerald, the luau, the submarine excursion and of course the sunset cruise. Before they knew it, they were back in London with their family and friends.
“How was the honeymoon?” Simon asked as Isabel and Séb walked through the door.
“It was fantastic. Thank you both for doing that for us,” Séb replied.
“It was our pleasure. We thought it would be the perfect honeymoon for you,” Simon smiled.
“Taking us back to where it all started was the perfect honeymoon,” Isabel hugged both of them.
“Are you staying for dinner?” Melinda asked.
“Yes,” Isabel looked at Séb who nodded his head in agreement.
Isabel and Séb spent the night with Melinda and Simon and they had a great time. They talked about the honeymoon and names for the baby but Isabel and Séb had not thought about that yet. She still had five months before the baby would see the world and there would be plenty of time to come up with a name.
---- Three months later ----
“Congratulations, Mrs. Buhler. He is a healthy baby boy,” Dr. Morgan said with a smile.
“Can I hold him?” Urs asked with tears in his eyes.
“Of course,” Dr. Morgan smiled as she placed the baby in Urs’ arms.
“Grüezi (hello), Toni Niklaus Buhler. This is your father speaking. I’m so happy to meet you,” Urs kissed the baby’s forehead.
Jewel had tears in her eyes as she watched Urs with their newborn son and she knew he couldn’t wait to show the other Divos his son. Jewel was taken to a room where they could have some privacy and enjoy their baby without having too many people around. The first ones to arrive were Séb and Isabel who had been babysitting Belle.
“Meet Toni Niklaus Buhler,” Urs said as he held his son.
“He is so adorable. I can’t wait to see our Divo babies running around,” Isabel smiled as she touched her belly.
“Only a few more months for you,” Jewel smiled at her.
“Yes, two months left for me,” Isabel beamed.
“This is your brother. Isn’t he sweet?” Urs asked Belle as he showed her the baby.
Belle looked at the baby in Urs’ arms and she bent down and placed a soft kiss on his forehead. It was the perfect family moment and Isabel couldn’t wait until she could hold her baby in her arms. Soon after, the other Divos and their partners arrived, followed by Simon and Melinda. After a few hours, the couples left the hospital to give Jewel and Urs some private time.
---- Two months later ----
“I can’t believe he is here,” Isabel said as she held her baby in her arms for the first time.
“I know, Cherie. I feel the same way. Our special Étienne,” Séb kissed her softly.
“We did a good job, didn’t we?” Isabel asked him.
“Yes, we did. He is just perfect,” Séb replied with a smile.
“I love you, Séb,” Isabel said.
“I love you too, Cherie,” Séb smiled at her.
Their private time was interrupted by Simon and Melinda who wanted to see their grandson. Isabel and Séb had asked them to be grandparents to Étienne and they had accepted without hesitation. The other couples arrived half an hour later and everyone agreed that baby Étienne looked like Séb. Everything was going well for the Divos and Mary announced that she was expecting their first baby.
Seven months later, Matthew Miller was born and he was the spitting image of David. The future of Il Divo had now been secured with Roberto Marin, Toni Buhler, Étienne Izambard and Matthew Miller. Maybe these four boys would continue what Simon had started but only time would tell.

---- Ten years later ----
Ten years had passed since Étienne was born and the Divos were gathered to celebrate him. It was hard to believe that it had been ten years since Isabel and Séb said hello to their firstborn child. Since then it really had been a baby boom in Divo world.
Séb and Isabel had been blessed with a daughter, Valérie, who was born seven years ago and Isabel was now expecting their third child. They had talked about having another baby but after seven years without luck they had decided to stop trying. A few months later, Isabel found out that she was pregnant again and they couldn’t wait to meet their son.
Four years after Toni was born, the Buhler family welcomed another daughter, Aina Roseli to the world. Both Belle and Toni loved their baby sister more than anything and Belle loved being a big sister to her two siblings.
Larissa and Carlos had welcomed twins, Alejandro and Enrique, who were also the spitting images of Carlos. After the birth of the twins, Larissa and Carlos both agreed on not having more children. They had been blessed with three wonderful boys and three copies of Carlos were more than the world could handle.
The Miller clan had been blessed with two more children, Stella and Cynthia, and David was proud of his family. When Mary got pregnant with Stella, David had hoped for a boy but he forgot about that when he held Stella in his arms for the first time. Three years later, Cynthia Miller was born and the Miller clan was now complete.
“It’s amazing how life can change sometimes,” Séb said as the couples were watching their children.
“Yes, you’re right about that,” David padded him on the shoulder.
“We’ve all been blessed with wonderful families,” Urs looked at his friends.
“Here is to ten more years,” Carlos raised his glass.
“And ten more when the children take over,” David laughed.
“I think we’ve shown that you can get through anything as long as you’ve got some great friends,” Séb said.
“I will drink to that,” Urs smiled.
The Divo couples all raised their glasses and hopefully they would be together for a very long time. They had a special bond and nothing would ever break that bond. It was a bond between brothers.
