The Perfect Job By: Auds

My Darling Urs,
Its been so long since we last saw each other that i'm starting to go crazy without you. I understand about your job, i really do, music is your life, its part of you and that means that it is part of me as well. I just miss hearing your voice speaking and singing just for me. I can still feel your touch on my skin when i wake up in the mornings and wish that you were right there instead of just in my dreams. I'm looking forward to the next time we'll be together and am praying that it will be longer.

Auds looked down at the letter she had just written then screwed it up into a ball and flung it in the bin beside her. Who was she kidding, she was never going to send it and the only time she had ever seen him was outside the arena at one of their concerts. he had kissed her and put his arm round her for a picture, which she'd framed and stuck beside her bed, she hadn't washed for days afterwards. She smiled at the thought, then sighed as she noticed the time. She had to start getting ready for work.

She worked as a Personal Assistant at Sony BMG, the music label which IL Divo were signed to in London and she lived in hope that she would one day bump into them when they were in the offices. She couldn't let her colleagues know about her 'obsession' with IL Divo, Urs specially, as one of the major rules at work was "NO FRATERNISING WITH THE ARTISTS" It was an instant sacking offence to be seen flirting with the people the label were representing. Only a couple of her close friends who worked there as well knew.

She got ready and headed out the door, arriving at the offices to find the place buzzing with excitement. She found her friends Nyree and Jacqui and asked what was going on. They grinned at each other before Nyree said "IL Divo are in the building and rumour has it that they've sacked their PA for betraying their confidence and are now looking for a new one." Jacqui looked at the shock on Auds face before adding "Simon Cowell has said that they're just going to hire someone who already works in the building." The girls just laughed as the look on Auds face. "You so have to apply for this job, you'll get it no bother, you're a awesome PA, everyone you've worked for has said so" said Jacqui. "Oh and the interviews are this afternoon in Simon's office and we've already taken the liberty of putting your name down on the list of possible candidates." said Nyree.

Auds finally registered what the girls had just said and grabbing both of them by the arm, dragged them into her office and shut the door behind them. "Well, you're just going to have to take me off it again. I can't work for IL Divo, can you see me trying to tell Urs what to do?? I can't even look at a picture of him without blushing, what makes you think i can stand in front of him, face to face, and have a normal conversation?? And, I can't go to an interview looking like this anyway, god, do i even want to go to an interview with Simon Cowell?? That man is scary." Auds rambled on a bit more before Jacqui put a hand over her mouth to shut her up then said "Breathe Auds, it does help you know!"

Nyree laughed then said "Auds hunnie, you have worked with some of the biggest names around today, some bigger than IL Divo and you managed fine then, you CAN do this." Jacqui nodded her head in agreement. "Maybe so, but i never wanted to sleep with any of them, this is slightly different, i'm not doing it and that’s final." said Auds. Just then there was a knock at the door and the girls boss walked in. He smiles at the girls then says "I'm glad to see your name down for the IL Divo job Auds, you'd be perfect for it. I'm going to personally recommend you to Simon Cowell for it. Your interview will be at 4.30pm this afternoon. Just be yourself and you'll do fine." then he walked out as Nyree and Jacqui try not to laugh at the look of dismay on Auds face. Auds shook her head and dropped into the seat behind her. "This cannot be happening." she says. Nyree grinned and said "Come on, we've got an interview to get you ready for." then her and Jacqui drag her out of the office to go get organised.


~The Interview~

Its 4.20pm and Auds is sitting outside Simon Cowell’s office, still not sure why she was there, she took a deep breath and thought to herself, its just Simon Cowell, i'm not going to get the job and i'll not end up anywhere near the guys. This thought calmed her down slightly and she was just starting to relax when his door opened and he said he was ready for her now. She took another deep breath and stood up. As she walked through the door she almost collapsed with shock. Sitting at a long table were Carlos, Sebastian, David and Urs. Simon sat down beside them and said "The guys wanted to be here for the interviews, so that they could get a feel of each person, so to speak. I hope you don't mind?" Auds could hear her dirty mind going into overdrive because of the words he had used. She shook her head to clear it and managed to say that she didn't mind at all.

The interview seemed to be over really quickly with Simon and the guys all asking her questions and discussing what would be expected of her. So Auds was surprised to discover when she left the room that she had been in there for over an hour. She made her way back to her own office, still hoping that she wouldn't be what they were after.


~Simon's Office~

Simon and the guys were talking about all the people they had seen. They all seemed to have their own favourites, and ones that they didn't like. But, their was only one that had stood out for all five of them as the person perfect for the job. "Did you see her resume? " said David. "yes, very impressive list of clients she's worked with" nods Simon. "And this recommendation from her boss is amazing." "I think we have found our new PA guys." said David. Seb and Carlos both nodded their heads in agreement. Simon looked at Urs and said "You're awfully quiet Urs, what do you think of this one? Do you think she will fit in well with you lot?" Urs looked at him then smiled and said "I think she'll fit in perfectly, in more ways than one." then went red as he realised that he'd said that last bit out loud and the other guys were all laughing at him.

"I zink that Ursy likes dis one as more than just a PA." laughs Seb. "Shut up" says Urs hitting him on the arm, then added "So, are we hiring her then?" The others all laughed then Simon said "well, we all seem to be in agreement, so, yes!! I'll let her boss know and he can tell her the good news."

~Auds Office~

Auds couldn't believe what she was hearing, it was 6.30pm, it had been a long day and all the people who had been interviewed had been asked to stay behind until the decision had been made. She was positive that she had been bad enough to stop herself from getting the job, but here was her boss standing in front of her congratulating her. She tried to look excited that they had all unanimously chosen her as the best of them all. After he'd gone, she grabbed her stuff, sent a text to Jacqui and Nyree to meet her in their favourite bar and left the offices.

When she walked into the bar they were sitting there with drinks waiting. Auds sat down and drank her one in one go. The girls stared at her then Jacqui said "Well?" Auds looked at them and simply said "I start on Monday" then went to buy another drink. Jacqui and Nyree burst out laughing. "This is going to be fun" said Nyree. When Auds came back with the drinks they asked her exactly what she'd been told. She said "All I got told was that it was a unanimous decision by all five of them as they all thought i would be perfect. Oh, and i have to go spend the day with Simon and a couple of the guys tomorrow to go over all the stuff they have arranged over the next few weeks to get me up to date." She shakes her head. "I was trying so hard to make myself look hopeless as well."
"Wait a minute" said Jacqui. "It was a unanimous decision by all five of them? I thought it was only Simon that was doing the interview?" Auds laughed and said "I thought that too, but when i walked into his office, IL Divo themselves were sitting at the table. According to Simon, they wanted to sit in on the interviews to get a feel of each person interviewing." Nyree grinned "And what did you say to that?" "Not a lot, but my mind went into overdrive at the thought" said Auds then burst out laughing.

~The Next Day~

Auds arrived at the address Simon had given her wishing she hadn't drunk so much with the girls. She looked up at the house in front of her, it was old, not quite Victorian, but still very impressive. She rang the doorbell and waited. Simon answered the door and let her in. He led her through to the kitchen and offered her a tea/coffee. Auds grinned "Do i look that bad?" she asked. "My friends dragged me out to celebrate last night and i think i had too much to drink." she explained seeing the funny look on Simon's face. "Ah, alright" he said, "I get it now! No, i was just being polite and also because David and Urs are running late!!" Auds tried not to look too nervous at the thought of being in the same room as Urs for the whole day. "So, they drew the short straw then?" she grinned. "Having to be stuck inside with the newbie instead of enjoying the rare day off they get." Simon laughed, "I think you know them pretty well already, no, they both offered to do it, David likes to help out the newbie’s as you call them! and Urs, well, he offered, so i said fine." Just then the bell rang again and Simon went off to answer it saying "That'll be them." After he was out of sight, Auds took a few deep breaths, she had been so hoping that Urs wasn't going to be one of the two, but looked like luck wasn't going to be on her side today. She looked up at Simon as he walked back in followed by David and Urs and she almost fell of her chair as she realised Urs was wearing a rather tight t-shirt and jeans and had his curly hair tied back into a ponytail. Luck was definitely NOT on her side today she thought again!! It was going to be a long, hard day.

David smiled at Auds then held out his hand saying "Good to see you again, I'm David and don't look so nervous, we don't bite, do we Urs?" "No, not unless they want us to anyway" said Urs then grinned and watched as Auds went red. He took pity on her then and said "Is Auds your actual name or is it short for something?" She shook her head and said "Its short for Audrey, but i hate that name, makes me sound really old, everyone calls me Auds, it was only my dad who ever called me Audrey" "then that’s what we shall call you as well, we want you to be really comfortable around us, just be like you would be when you're with your friends with us as well." he said. Auds tried not to laugh, but failed. "If you saw me with my friends, you wouldn't have just hired me as your PA." Simon then said "Well, we have a lot to get through, so can we get started now that you've officially embarrassed Auds?" The guys both nodded their heads and they all sat down at the table and got started.

They went through the list of all the various performances, TV shows and photo shoots that they had over the next couple of months, and there was a lot, Auds didn't know how they coped with it all. "I knew you guys were always busy, but i never realised just how busy." she said sounding amazed. "how do you manage to always look so fresh and happy all the time?" she asked. "We know each other pretty well now." said David. "We can tell if someone needs to talk, to let off steam and we can tell if they just want to be left alone, just by the look on their face and we keep each other laughing, we all have pretty much the same sense of humour." Urs grinned "Plus, we love singing, so, its not just a job to us, its more like a hobby that we get to share with the rest of the world. You'll soon learn our different looks and know what we need, you'll be with us all the time once you start properly on Monday." "Which reminds me." said Simon. "I hope you have an up to date passport? because as you can see, the guys do a lot of travelling." Auds nodded. "I have to keep it up to date as i never know when i might need it for a job." "That’s good then" he said then looked up at the clock on the wall and said "We've been sitting here for nearly 4 hour, think we can stop and have some lunch. We can meet back here in say, an hour and 30 minutes. I've got some other stuff i need to see to." he said. David nodded and said "Yeah, so do I."

Urs looked at Auds and smiled. "That just leaves us two then, do you have something else to do or do you fancy getting something to eat together?" Auds tried to think of something, anything she had to do, but couldn't come up with anything. So, eventually she said "Why not." "Great" said Urs. "It will give me a chance to get to know you better." He got up and said to Simon and David "See you later" then walked off with Auds following.

After the door shut David turned to Simon and said "Was it just me or did Auds look like she really didn't want to go, but just couldn't come up with something quickly to get out of it?" Simon laughed and said "No, it wasn't just you." he said.

~The Lunch~

Auds and Urs had arrived at the small restaurant that Urs had driven them to. They had stayed silent all the way there, but once they got inside and seated Urs started chatting away whilst Auds, sitting opposite him, was trying not to look straight at him as she knew if she got caught in his eyes that she would be lost. "Auds, Auds" She looked up as she realised that Urs was saying her name. "I'm sorry Urs, its been a really strange couple of days, I must have gone off into a daydream for a minute." she said. He shook his head and said "You haven't looked at me properly once since the interview yesterday and this morning and even now. You have no problem with looking at the others, but you can't look at me, tell me why, please." He then reached over and putting his hand under her chin pushed her face upwards, so that she was having to look at him. "Please, tell me why you still can't look at me, why did you close your eyes just now?" Auds took a deep breath before opening her eyes and saying "This isn't going to work Urs, I'm sorry, but I can't work for you guys." then she stood up and ran out of the restaurant. She ran down the road until she realised that she didn't have a clue where she was and sat down on the ground and started crying.

Back at the restaurant Urs didn't know what had just happened, but he did know that Simon would kill him if he went back without her. He left the restaurant and walked to both ends of the street, but couldn't see her anywhere. He got into the car and started driving around to find her. He'd been looking for what seemed to him ages when he saw this person up ahead sitting on the ground. He pulled up beside them and was glad to see it was Auds. He got out of the car and sat down beside her, then he pulled her into a hug and just held her until she managed to stop crying. He didn't say a word, he waited for her to speak first. She pulled herself up straight and took the hankie he offered. She dried her eyes and blew her nose then looked at him and said "I'm sorry, i shouldn't have run off on you like that."
Urs pushed a stray bit of hair that had escaped the ponytail behind his ear and said "That’s okay, i'm just glad i found you. Can you tell me what’s wrong? Why don't you want to work for us? I know that you were by far the best out of them all that applied and so did the others." Auds sighed. This was going to be hard and she couldn't believe she was about to do it.

"Do you recognise me at all Urs?" she asked him. He looked at her funny before saying "No, have we met before?" Auds nodded. "About 2 months ago when you guys played Wembley Arena. I was standing outside with friends waiting for you lot to arrive for your sound check. You gave me a kiss and put your arm around me for a photo. I framed it and put it on my bedside table so that you were the first thing i saw in the mornings." she stopped to take a breath and looked at his face for a reaction before carrying on. "You guys meet so many people that you couldn't possibly remember everyone, but that few seconds means so much to the fans. That’s what i am, I'm an IL Divo fan, but, i'm also what they call us on the forum, an Uber-Babe." Urs nodded at that, the guys all knew what their fans called themselves on their forum.
"But why is that going to stop you from working with us?" he asked puzzled.
Auds looked at him and said "Okay, this may sound weird, because i don't even know you, but, I love you so much that i can't even look at a picture of you without going red at the thought of the things i would like to do to you."
She stared at the ground, not daring to look at his face. "I was going to try and cope, but you walked into Simon's this morning looking like every Uber's fantasy. The tight t-shirt, the tight jeans and the curly hair, god, they all go mad for your curly hair, especially when you have it in a ponytail. I knew then that i couldn't cope on a daily basis with it." She looked up at him and said softly. "That’s why i can't work for you. "

Urs sat there silently for a few minutes taking all that in. Then he turned to her and said "You're right, it does sound weird. But it doesn't mean that you can't work for us. I mean, when you walked into the interview yesterday, I did think that you were very beautiful and that i would like to get to know you better. I'll even admit, that’s the reason i offered to come help today. So that i could see you again. And that was before i knew all this. Its not just you fans that can fall for someone you don't really know, we can all do it, and if i can cope with seeing you around everyday then i'm sure that you can cope with seeing me around everyday. I think we could be great together, but lets just see how things go yeah." he laughs then. "I'll even stop wearing the tight t-shirts and jeans if it will help?" he added. Auds laughed then. "Don't you dare, I'd be killed on the forum if they knew it was my fault you stopped wearing those things." She took a deep breath then said "Okay, I'll see how it goes." Urs smiled and gave her a hug before looking at his watch and saying "We'd better get back to Simon's before he kills us both for being back so late."

Back at the house Simon and David were waiting for them to come back. David looked at the time and said "So, what do you think is making them so late back?" then grinned at Simon. "I don't know, but if he's done anything to make her change her mind about taking the job, i'm going to kill him. I still can't believe i actually let him walk out that door with her by himself when we know that he is so obviously attracted to her in more ways than just a personal assistant." said Simon. David nodded his head in agreement.

Carlos and Sebastien were still at the hotel, they were meant to be going out for something to eat, but Carlos was waiting about in Seb's room for him to get off the phone. He was talking to his girlfriend Sonia and had been for the last hour. He sighed as he heard a bit of what Seb had just said in French and sitting down, he picked up the room service menu and looked through it. He was sick of hotel food, although it was good, it was generally the same everywhere. He felt bad then as he knew how much Seb missed being with Sonia, they'd been together for the last 5 years, meeting long before they had become IL Divo. He was always talking about her, writing emails or talking to her. It must be both wonderful and also so sad to have a love that was so strong. Seb hated being away from her for so long at a time and Carlos knew that the World Tour they were doing just now was really hard on him as they had virtually no breaks at all, only the odd days here and there, but not enough to go back and forth to Paris. He looked up as Seb walked through. When he saw Carlos with the room service menu he said "I am sorry Carlos, you know what its like when you get talking." Carlos smiled softly "Sadly, at the moment, my friend, I do not. But i am alright with it right now. So, how is Sonia?" A big smile came over Seb's face as he said "She's really good, looking forward to when we come to Paris next week. She's taken the time off when we're there so she can stay with me all the time."

Carlos smiled, he liked to see the other guys happy, David and Seb both had long standing girlfriends and were very happy with them and Urs, well, it looked like he had his eye on this new PA they had starting. He thought to himself how funny it was that in the press and throughout the forum and the tour etc. he was always made out to be the ladies man, maybe he came across that way, but the reality was different. On stage and in interviews, it was like he was playing up for the audience, but when he was alone or with the guys, he actually found it hard to meet anyone. He was really quite picky and he didn't want to go out with a woman who only wanted Carlos from IL Divo. He wanted someone to want him for him, Carlos Marin. But these days it was very hard to know if there was someone out there like that.

Seb and Carlos finally left to go get something to eat, they walked outside with Seb still talking about Sonia. As they walked along neither of them noticed that they were being followed by a woman. They went into this cafe and sat down, still not noticing the woman who had come in behind them and sat a few tables away from them. They sat laughing and eating for ages before Seb suddenly spotted her watching them. "I think we ave been spotted" he said nodding his head towards the woman. Carlos turned round to see who Seb was looking at, he saw a woman with shoulder length red hair sitting at a table not far from them. She looked up at them again then and he smiled at her. He got himself ready to sign an autograph or have a picture taken, she was obviously a fan, but to his surprise she went almost as red as her hair and took of pretty quickly out of the cafe. He turned back towards Seb who was grinning. "I think you embarrassed her Carlos!!" he said.

The woman walked down the road wondering what had gotten into her, she had never done anything like that before. She had been sitting down just thinking about stuff going on in her life when she had seen the two men walk past her. She was positive that she recognised them from somewhere and she felt something pulling her towards them so she had got up and followed them. It was only when she had looked up to discover they had finally noticed her that she realised what she had done. The dark skinned one had smiled at her and her heart had almost melted with the warmth in it. She had got out of there quickly before they could come over and speak to her. She did hope that one day she would see that smile again though.

Auds and Urs had finally arrived back at Simon's and although he was mad for a few minutes he was relieved to see that not only had Auds come back, but things between her and Urs seemed to be a bit more settled looking. As Simon was talking to Urs, David looked at Auds, she looked different to before she'd left. He wasn't sure how, but there was definitely something. He went up to her and gave her a hug. "What was that for?" she asked him looking surprised. He looked at her and said "You just seem different to before you left with Urs, did something happen over lunch?" Auds smiled and said "Yes, but nothing bad and I'll be fine, but thanks for the concern David" and she gave him another hug. Just then Urs and Simon came back into the room and when Urs saw Auds hugging David, this sudden sharp pain seemed to go through him.

*A few days later*

Auds had settled in well with the guys and her and Urs had slipped into a easy kind of friendship. she hadn't seen Simon again since the day at his house as they had been busy with photo shoots and had done a couple of magazine interviews. She was at home right now getting her bags packed for her first trip away with them, she looked around the place wondering how long it would be before she saw this place again, they were heading for Paris the next day for the French leg of the tour, then onto Spain, Germany, Holland and Switzerland. She knew just from the short time with them that each of them were really excited about getting to perform in their own countries. She smiled then as she thought of Seb, he was so excited to be going home that he couldn't sit still for more than a few minutes at a time. She was actually looking forward to the second leg of the American tour, she had always wanted to see America, but never had the time/money or anyone to do it with before.

All of a sudden her phone rang, picking it up she saw Urs written on the screen. She answered with a smile. "Hey Urs, shouldn't you be getting ready to leave?" "I'm all done." he replied. "I was wondering if you'd mind me coming over to your place for a while? Seb is driving me mad, David seems to have disappeared and Carlos keeps going on about some woman with red hair who ran off when he smiled at her." Auds grinned and then said "Oh, so i'm the last choice then? a place to go when no-one else is around huh?" "No, No, I didn't mean it to sound like that, you would always be my first choice to come be at." Urs started then getting flustered slipped into Swiss. "Urs, Urs, calm down and stop speaking in Swiss, I can't understand a word you're saying. I was only teasing you, you're more than welcome to come over." said Auds. Urs stopped then said "Okay, well in that case you had better open the door and let me in then." Auds looked puzzled. "What do you mean? Where are you?" she asked.

"I'm outside your door, and i'm getting weird looks from all your neighbours that pass by." he said. Auds shook her head in amazement and went to open her door. Urs was standing on the other side with his phone in his hand. He smiled at her then hung up. "Hey Auds" he said as he walked inside shutting the door behind him. "Hey Urs, have you been standing there the whole time we were talking?" she asked. He nodded. "I just wanted to make sure you didn't mind first. If you'd said no, i'm busy right now, i would have just left and you would never have known i was even there." he smiled at the look on her face. She hit him on the arm then and said "you idiot, you don't need to ask me if you want to come over, just do it, i'm always here and if i'm not, i'm never far away." He looked hurt that she'd hit him on the arm and pouted as he rubbed it. Auds laughed and said "Aww, do you want me to rub it better for you?" She put her hand on his arm and then pulled it back just as quickly when she realised what was happening. She turned her back to him and said in a shaky voice "Would you like a drink?" Urs looked at her back and then round the room. "Uh, no thanks, I think i'll just leave you to get on with your packing. I'll see you tomorrow. Steve's picking you up tomorrow isn't he?" he asked. Auds nodded, her back still to him. She stayed that way until she had heard the door open and shut. She sat down on the chair nearest her and thought to herself, what the hell am i doing? I am only just getting used to having him around all day, i can't cope with anymore happening.

Urs meanwhile hadn't gone far, he was leaning against the wall outside Auds apartment. He knew that she had felt the same spark that had run through him when she had touched his arm. That was why she had changed so quickly back into the person she had been before their talk the other day. He sighed deeply as he realised that he was falling in love with her, but he also knew that she was nowhere near ready for him to tell her that. He was just going to have to keep himself busy and try not to be around her too much, which was going to be hard as everything they do now has to go through her. He decided to go for a walk to see if it would clear his head. He couldn't go back into Auds' and he didn't want the guys around him at the moment. So a walk would be best. He took a last look at the door to Auds' place then walked off slowly.

*The next day*

Sebastian and Carlos were away in one car already to the airport and David and Urs were in another one. Urs looked out of the window and said to David "Where are we going? This isn't the way to the airport." David looked at him and said "No, we're going to pick up Auds first, Steve asked if we would mind getting her for him as he was called away to a meeting with Simon before we left. He's just going to meet us at the airport." Urs couldn't believe it. He must have had a weird look on his face as David said "What happened Urs? as far as i knew the two of you were okay now." Urs nodded. "We were. I went round to her place yesterday. I wanted to see her and we had settled into being friends. But, we were messing about, i suppose you could call it flirting. But, it got too much for her and me, i guess and she went back to the way she was when we first met. She couldn't even look at me. I left and made a decision to try not to be around her as much as i could." He shook his head then. David put an arm over his shoulder and said "i'm sorry man, i didn't realise. I would have sent Seb and Carlos for her if i'd known. Just be patient with her, its got to be weird for her as well, having to leave everything and everyone she knows behind to start travelling with 4 guys that she doesn't really know that well. She'll come round again. She told me that she would be fine the other day at Simon's, i was concerned about her after you came back from lunch and gave her a hug. She just needs time." Urs smiled then as he realised that the hug between her and David had been innocent. It had been niggling at him a bit.

They arrived at the airport and met up with the others and boarded the plane. Urs and Auds were keeping their distance from each other, she hadn't looked to happy to see him when they had arrived at her place and they hadn't spoken much at all since she'd got in the car. They landed in Paris and headed for there hotel. once they had arrived and settled themselves David went off to find Seb and Carlos. He found them both in Seb's room he was on the phone to Sonia, telling her what hotel they were in and arranging to meet her. He sat down and waited until he had hung up then said "We have to do something about Urs and Auds, if they carry on the way they're going they are going to ruin any chance they have of having a friendship, let alone a relationship. Its so obvious that they are both crazy about each other, but they're trying so hard not to admit it that they're not even able to be friends." Carlos nodded and said "but what can we do? apart from shutting them in together somewhere, they're not going to talk to each other for long enough to sort things out." Seb thought for a minute then said "That’s not a bad idea my friend, we've not got anything we have to be at tonight do we?" David shook his head. "We have the night off before the concert tomorrow night." Seb grinned then said "Well, here is my idea" and then told David and Carlos what he had in mind.

*1 hour later*

Auds was sitting in her room going through the guys itinerary on her laptop when her mobile rang. She picked it up and heard David’s voice on the other end sounding upset. This got her attention straight away and she said "David, what’s wrong?" There was silence, so she asked again. "David, tell me what’s happened please." David sniffed then said "Its Urs, we've just had a massive fight and he's locked me out of our room, Can I talk to you for a while? I just feel like going home, I don't want to be here anymore." "Of course you can David, just come up to my room and we'll talk." David sniffed again then said "I'm actually sitting in one of our cars, I didn't want to go somewhere i would possibly bump into him, so came down here." Auds said "Okay babe, I'm on my way." then she hung up and made her way down to where the cars were parked. She was worried, the last thing she needed was for David to walk out on them in the middle of the tour. The reason everything worked so well was because the guys got on so well and were like brothers to each other.

She arrived in the garage area and looked around to see which car David was in. She walked towards the one which had a light on inside it and opened the door. David was sitting inside and motioned to her to get in. It was only when she had got into the car that she realised that Urs was there as well. She looked puzzled as did he. David took out a letter and handing it to Auds said "This letter will explain everything, oh, and the car isn't going to stop until you two have done everything the letter asks." He then gets out, says "See you later" then shuts the door and the car drives off. "I think we have just been set up." said Auds. She opened the envelope to see what the letter said. She read it out loud so that Urs could hear it as well.

Hey Guys,
You've probably realised that you have been set up! The three of us have decided that we're not going to put up with any of this tension between the two of you. So, we've given you a list of three things to do and the driver has been told not to stop driving until you've worked out how you two feel about each other and how you can work with each other properly.
1:Tell each other how you REALLY feel
2: Work out a way to work with each other easily
3: And lastly, just bloody kiss each other and get it over with!! If you don't do anything afterwards thats fine, but it might break the tension between the pair of you.

Urs looked at Auds and said "I didn't realise that we were affecting the others as well with our problems. Auds just said nothing and looked out the window. He sighed before saying "They are right though, we all have to work together and if there is something wrong with one of us, it usually affects everyone. And since we aren't going to be allowed out of this car until we sort things out, we might as well do it." Auds turned to face him and nodded her head. "Okay then." he said. "Lets start with number 1. How we really feel about each other." Auds half smiled before saying "Well, you already know how i feel and its not changed since then." Urs thought for a minute before saying "I wasn't going to tell you this yet, but it seems like i'm going to have to. I'm falling in love with you Auds, deeply, and i don't know if i can cope with the thought of my life without you in it in someway. I know that probably sounds mad as its really only been a week since you came into it. I can't even describe how it feels as its always changing. But i think it happened when you walked into the interview and then when you ran off on me at the restaurant and most of all at Simon's when i walked in on you and David hugging. A sharp pain went through me then and even though i knew it probably didn't mean anything, it still hurt like hell to see you with your arms around somebody else." He stopped then and looked up to see how Auds was reacting to this then carried on. "I thought we had it figured out for the first few days after that as we seemed alright, but then yesterday at your place, it all came out again, i felt the spark that passed between us when you touched my arm and i know that you did too, that’s why you pulled away and that’s why we're sitting in this car now." He looked at Auds again who had turned to look out the window again. She looked at him then and he saw tears running down her face. He went to put his arms around her and she pushed them away. She wiped the tears away and said in a shaky voice "You don't know how many times i dreamed that you would say those words to me, and how delighted i would be and we'd end up living happily ever after etc.. But it can't happen Urs, yes, we may both love each other and want to be together, but it can never go any further." Urs didn't know why and said that. Auds tried to say something but her voice was so low Urs couldn't hear her. "I can't hear you babe, you'll have to speak louder." Auds shook her head. "Its not allowed." she said. Urs looked puzzled. "What’s not allowed?" he asked. "this, us, what’s happening between us." replied Auds. "I've been hired by you 4 guys to be your PA which means you're my clients. The most important rule of the company is 'No Fraternising With The Clients' If i let you into my life and anyone found out, i'd lose my job and as much as i love you, I love my job just as much."

Urs was shocked, of all the reasons he'd been expecting her to come out with, this wasn't one of them. "You're not serious?" he said. "You're going to put your job above your happiness? Surely you can't be happy in a job that won't let you be happy as well. Beside's who is going to find out? You'll be with us all the time and me and the guys aren't going to tell anyone. In fact if it makes you feel better, we can only tell the guys and Steve. That way no one is going to let slip about us and you won't get into trouble." Auds shook her head. "I just can't Urs, it wouldn't be right." Urs had heard enough, he moved across the seat until he was sitting right beside Auds and taking her face in his hands turned it towards him. She found herself staring into his gorgeous hazel/grey eyes and found herself unable to look away. He leaned in towards her and gently brushed his lips over hers. He did this again more forcefully this time. He felt her arms going round his neck and pulling him in closer to her. They stayed like that for what seemed like hours not moving, then Urs pulled back and smiled at Auds. "Can you tell me that that didn't feel right to you?" he asked her. Auds shook her head and said "That felt wonderful, like all my worries had gone, but they haven't Urs, they're still there and if i give in to this and we try and do this and keep it quiet, its only going to add another worry to it." Urs pulled her into his side and put his arm round her before saying "If it doesn't worry me, and it obviously won't worry the other guys, it shouldn't worry you. Please Auds, just give it a chance. Everyone deserves to be happy and if you find somebody you want to be happy with, then you should grab it with both hands." He saw a single tear run down Auds face and wiped it away with his thumb. She looked up into his eyes and her heart almost melted with the look in them. She took a deep breath and nodded her head. "Okay, i'll give it a go as long as only the other guys and Steve know. But, we're not to make it obvious in case we're spotted somewhere. It has to be a very private thing." Urs's face broke into a massive grin and he said "Private is very fine with me!!" he laughed then kissed her hard. He then said to the driver who had been ignoring them the whole time "You can take us back to the hotel now, but you can just take your time!!" he laughed.

David and Carlos were back at the hotel, Seb had gone off to meet Sonia for a meal. David said to Carlos "Auds and Urs have been gone an awfully long time, you don't think something’s gone wrong do you?" Carlos was about to answer when the door opened and Urs walked in followed by Auds. Neither of them looked that happy and Auds went straight for the bathroom and slammed the door behind her. Urs slumped into a chair and put his head in his hands. David and Carlos exchanged a worried look. "Urs" said David. "We're sorry, it was meant to make things better, not worse." Urs lifted his head and they saw that he was grinning. "Don't worry guys, you did make things better. We talked, she cried a lot then i finally got through to her and she gave in and we kissed and then we kissed again." he grinned. Auds came back into the room then saying "Sorry guys, we couldn't resist making you think your plan hadn't worked." she gave them both a hug and a kiss on the cheek then said "We're only going to tell you guys and Steve though, we want to keep it private. You can't even tell your girlfriends, sorry. To everyone else i'm just your P.A. because if anyone from my office finds out, i'll lose my job." Urs pulled her down onto his lap and kissed her. Carlos smiled, it was good to see them happy then said "I'd better phone Seb and tell him not to tell Sonia then. I have a feeling he won't be sleeping alone tonight, so you might bump into her around the place." He took out his phone and walked off.

Auds looked at David and said "I'm so glad that you aren't walking out on us, as i had absolutely no idea what i was going to say to make you change your mind!!" he smiled again then said "I could never walk out on you guys, you all mean the world to me. I'll leave you two alone now. Sound check is around 5pm tomorrow, will we see either of you before then?" he laughed as Urs threw a cushion at him then left the room. Urs pulled Auds in closer to him and kissed her lips, moved up to nibble on her ears then her neck and back to her lips. She moaned as she felt his hand run under her shirt and over her bare back. He then stood up, still holding her and carried her through to the bedroom saying "I think we need to go somewhere more comfortable." he kicked the door behind them and they spent the rest of the night discovering just how happy they could make each other.

Seb and Sonia were in a taxi heading back to the hotel with one thing only on their minds. They had been apart for too long and now they were going to make up for it. "Its so good to be able to see you again, its great talking to you all the time, but its not the same as seeing you and doing things like eating together and .." Seb stops her with a kiss. "that" she grinned. She cuddled into him and he wrapped his arms round her. She shivered as she felt his hand caressing her thigh. She hoped that they would arrive at the hotel soon, she didn't know if she could cope with him doing that for too long. They arrived and went straight up to his room. As soon as they were inside he turned and pushing her against the door he started kissing her. He pushed a dress strap of her shoulder and placed little soft kisses on her neck and shoulder then he did the same on the other side. Sonia's hands started to unbutton Seb's shirt and she pulled it off him then ran her hands over his bare chest. They moved towards the bed still clinging to each other and Seb removed Sonia's dress completely before laying her down, taking off his jeans and then he continued with his soft kisses from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet and back up again. Then just when Sonia couldn't stand it any longer, he made love to her, then they fell asleep in each others arms.

*The Next Day*

It was almost lunchtime before Auds and Urs appeared out of the bedroom. They had planned on having breakfast, but never quite made it out of the bed. They couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other now that they had finally given in to each other. Auds was sleeping, so Urs went for a shower then got dressed and went to see what was going on outside of his room. He found David and Carlos in the other room having a play station game fight. They looked up and smiled at him. "Afternoon" said David. "What have you done with Auds?" asked Carlos. "Has she had enough of you already and left?" he joked. Urs shook his head "No, she's still sleeping, so i just left her lying there." Just then the door opened and Seb and Sonia came in. She saw Urs and greeted him with a hug and a kiss on each cheek. "So, how are you doing Urs?" she asked. "You're looking well." she added. Urs blushed. "I'm really good thanks Sonia, its good to see you again. Seb here drives us all mad when you're not around, maybe we'll get some peace for the next few days" he laughed. She grinned "So, no special woman in your life yet then?" she asked.


Urs, Carlos and David all stared at Seb. He shook his head from where he was behind her, as if to say, I didn't tell her. Sonia noticed this though and said "What’s going on, Urs, you have, haven't you?" Urs shook his head and said "No, i'm still looking i'm afraid." Just then Auds appeared out of the bedroom only wearing one of Urs' long t-shirts and said "Where did you go babe, i woke up and the bed was empty." It was only then that she realised there was another woman in the room. Urs said "This is Sonia, Auds. Seb's girlfriend." Sonia smiled and said "Hi Auds, you'll be the woman in Urs' life that he just told me didn't exist, i assume." Auds nodded her head and said "I'm also their new P.A. and that’s why we're keeping it quiet, because i'll get fired if i'm caught together with a client." She looked at Urs then and said "I kind of messed that up didn't I? I'd better go get dressed before anyone else appears." She went to get into her clothes from the night before then before leaving turned to David and said "You may as well tell your girlfriend as well now, just please ask her to keep it really quiet." He smiled and told her he would make sure she knew that. Then she left to go back to her own room.

Michelle was getting ready to go out, her friend Jane had decided that she needed a break from all her problems and had taken her away to Paris for a few days. She wouldn't tell her where they were going tonight, just to dress casual/smart! She looked at her watch, 6.33pm. Jane would be back in a minute, she had just gone down to the reception to pick up everything she had needed for tonight. She looked in the mirror as she brushed her hair. The red seemed to be more bright tonight, she thought to herself. The room door opened and Jane appeared and said "You ready to go Mich?" She nodded, picked up her jacket and bag and they left.

Over at the Paris Olympia the guys were just finishing off their sound check. Auds was in Urs and David's dressing room sorting through some of the official photo's the guys had to choose from for their Tour Photograph Brochure. She looked up as the door opened and Sonia walked in. She smiled at her and said "Hey, how are they doing out there?" Sonia grinned "I'd forgotten how much better they sound live than on their cd's. Are you going to watch it out front tonight?" Auds shook her head. "I'm going to stay back here tonight, I'll watch them tomorrow night. I have some work to catch up on and I don't seem to get much done when Urs is around, so with him on stage, I can get it done in peace!!" Sonia laughed as the door opened and the guys all walked in. Seb went straight for Sonia and Urs to Auds and pulled her into his arms. Auds looked at Sonia and rolled her eyes at her. Sonia started laughing again. Auds pulled herself free of Urs and said "Not here, anyone could walk in and see us." Urs groaned and gave her a quick kiss before saying "We have to start getting ready soon anyway." Auds left Sonia with the guys and walked out to the front of the arena. She had a quick chat with the ladies on the merchandise stall then left as the doors were opened and the audience were let in. She went into the actual theatre and found Steve doing some last minute checking. She went up to him and said "They've just opened the doors." He nodded then said "You staying out front to watch? I know Urs would love to have you watch him sing." Auds shook her head before saying "But, if i'm needed for anything just give me a ring, i'll not be far away."

Michelle and Jane took their seats, Michelle knew that Jane loved IL Divo, but she had never really listened to their music much. They were about 3 or 4 rows from the stage so she realised that Jane must have got these tickets ages ago and not just on the spur of the moment like she had said. She was about to ask her when the lights went down and the support act Hayley Westenra came on. She was quite good, she thought, but not really her thing. She knew that Jane was only trying to help though, so made up her mind to try and enjoy the show. Hayley finished and they waited half an hour til the lights went down again. This video footage of 4 guys appeared in 4 archways at the top of the stage. Suddenly Michelle gasped. That was him in the video, the guy from the cafe, with the smile. Maybe this would be better than she's thought it would be.

It wasn't until halfway through the 4th song that Carlos spotted her. He was singing his part of the song when his eyes fell upon a woman with red hair. He stopped and stared at her, then he smiled at her. Her heart nearly stopped, the warmth was still there. She watched him as he whispered something to Seb who looked over and nodded. When they went of stage for their first costume change he wrote a very quick note and gave it to Steve explaining who he wanted him to give it to and where she was sitting.
The guys were back on stage and Michelle was watching Carlos the whole time when a guy appeared in front of her and said "Hi, i'm Steve, Carlos asked me to give you this" and handed her the note. She opened it and read what it said. She couldn't believe it, she looked up at Carlos, he nodded and smiled. She turned to Jane and let her see it. It simply said,

Hey Red, please stay in your seat after the show, i want to see you. Steve will come get you. Carlos xx

Jane's eyes widened then she smiled and whispered "Go for it Mich" in her ear then went back to watching the show. Michelle looked up at the stage and waited for Carlos to come back over her again then nodded at him. He smiled again and nodded back.

Auds was in the back by herself doing some paperwork when her phone rang. She smiled as she saw it was Nyree. She hadn't spoken to her or Jacqui since the night they'd celebrated her getting the job. She picked it up and said "Hey babe, how you doing?" "How am I doing?" came the reply. "I'm not the one travelling with IL Divo, how are you doing?" Auds laughed. "I'm doing good, i mean its such hard work having to look after four very sexy men. Seriously, how are you and Jacqui? How's things in the office?" Nyree sighed. "Oh, you know, just as normal, nothing exciting happening. But, I thought i should phone and warn you about a few of the girls. They're spreading a horrible rumour that could end up getting out of hand."

"Whatever it is i'm sure it can't be that bad Ny, we both know that you can be rather dramatic at times" said Auds. "So, what is this rumour then?" she asked. "They are going round saying that you are sleeping with Urs." said Nyree. "Its obvious thought that they're just jealous and are trying to make trouble for you." she carried on speaking before she realised it had gone really quiet on Auds side. Auds was in shock, only 5 people knew and it had only been one night. How the hell had they found out. She could hear somebody saying her name over and over and realised it was Nyree. "Sorry hun, I'm still here, who exactly is saying this and where did they hear it from?" she asked.

"They didn't hear it from anywhere, i'm positive they're just making it up but you know how rumours are, we both know that you wouldn't sleep with a client, no matter how much you wanted to, and that’s all that matters." said Nyree. Auds stayed quiet, she could hear Nyree speaking but stayed quiet until she heard "AUDREY ANN GUNN" then she said "What?" "Please tell me that its not true, you're not sleeping with Urs are you?" Auds sighed and said "Yes, I'm sorry hun, I tried to keep my distance from him, i really did, but the other three guys had different ideas, they were tired of us being all tense and grumpy around each other so they shut us in a moving car last night and told the driver not to stop until we had sorted things out." she stopped for a breath then carried on quickly before Nyree could say anything. "I told him that i couldn't go out with him as i would get fired if we were found out, but he kissed me and told me that if i had found something or somebody that would make me happy then i shouldn't throw it away. I stayed with him in his room last night. but, we only told the other 3 guys and Steve. Oh, and Seb's girlfriend. But they have all been told to keep it really private." She could hear Nyree take a deep breath and knew she wasn't going to like what she was about to hear. "Auds, you know the rules better than any of us, how can you do this when you know what will happen, and you know it would happen, because we've seen it happen." Auds shook her head and said "But you know how much i love him Ny, and he told me that he was falling in love with me too, said he couldn't bear to think of his life without me in it."

Nyree could feel herself getting angry and couldn't stop herself from snapping. "He's only known you a week Auds, he's not in love with you, he's just trying to get you into bed and it worked. I can't believe you fell for it." Auds felt the tears forming in her eyes, this was one of her best friends talking to her like this. She swallowed the lump in her throat and said "Well, i'm sorry that you think that, but i don't. Now, i'm really busy, so I have to go." and she hung up without saying goodbye. She sat there for a minute fighting back the tears, then her phone rang. It was Nyree again, she picked it up and switched it off completely. Then she curled up on the chair and let the tears fall.

The guys were just finishing off their last song of the night, A Mi Manera (My Way) then they made their way back to their rooms to get showered and changed. Carlos was in a hurry, he didn't want to keep his mystery lady waiting too long. Urs and David walked into their room and found it empty. There was a note lying on the table amongst all the work Auds had been doing along with her phone. David picked it up and read it out.

Urs, have gone back to the hotel, not feeling too well, am going to sleep in my own room tonight, don't bother checking on me as i'll probably be asleep. Auds

Urs frowned. "Something’s happened" he said. "She wouldn't have left all this stuff lying around and she definitely wouldn't leave her phone. Its always with her, i don't think she even switches it off at night." He gathered it all up and said "I'm going straight back," then got all his own stuff and walked away without even changing.

Michelle was still sitting in her seat with Jane. She looked at her friend and said "What am i doing? I'm waiting for a guy i don't know to come take me to see another guy i don't know." she looked around the arena at the crowds emptying out and said "Why does he want to see me anyway, there are far more beautiful women here that he would be better off with." Jane shook her head and said "Stop putting yourself down Mich, you deserve something good to happen to you after everything else that’s happened. Just see him and then decide what to do." Just then Steve appeared in front of them. "Follow me girls" he said. They got up and followed him through large double doors into a corridor. He stopped outside a door, knocked then opened it and ushered them inside. Sebastien was inside with Sonia. They both smiled at the girls. "Please, sit down, Carlos won't be long. I'm Sebastien and this is Sonia." The girls sat down and Seb looked at Michelle and said "You made quite an impression on Carlos, you know, ever since you ran out of the cafe that day, he's done nothing but go on about you, the mystery redhead." he smiled as Michelle went red. Jane stared at her and said "What cafe?" "The one she was sat in in London 4 days ago watching myself and Seb here and once she realised that we had spotted her watching us, she ran off pretty quickly." said a deep voice from behind them. Michelle turned to look and saw him standing there. "Carlos" she said. "I hadn't told anyone about that, I felt rather stupid, but something had made me follow you." He grinned and was about to say something when Seb said that him and Sonia were off to get something to eat. "It was nice to meet you both though" he said then they left. Carlos looked at Michelle and said "I can't call you Red all the time, what’s your name?" Micelle looked at Jane who said "She's Michelle and i'm Jane. You'll have to be gentle with her at the moment, she's just come out of a relationship with a guy who did nothing but hit her and destroy her self confidence." Michelle looked down to the floor whilst Jane was telling Carlos this. She didn't see him move to kneel down in front of her. He said "The one thing i can't stand is men who don't treat women with the love and respect that they deserve." She looked up at him and he smiled at her. He had been going to ask her out for a meal, but he realised now that he would have to go slowly and try to gain her trust first before he did that. "So" he said. "What brings you to Paris? are you still following us?" he grinned as Michelle blushed.

Michelle shook her head and said "Jane thought I could do with getting away from everything back home for a while. I didn't know we were coming to see IL Divo, in fact, I didn't even know you were one of them." Carlos smiled to himself. He sat there for ages talking to the both of them, then he said he had to go. But he gave Michelle his phone number before he left and asked if he could have hers.

Urs arrived at the hotel and stopped off at his room to dump his stuff. He then went off to Auds room and knocked on her door. It had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign hanging on the door handle, but he was ignoring it. He knocked again then said "Auds, I know you're in there, please let me in and tell me what’s going on." He pressed his ear to the door to see if he could hear anything, but he couldn't. He knocked again and said "Auds, whatever happened, I'm not going to let it spoil what we have. I'm not going to go away until you talk to me. I'm just going to sit out here in the hallway until you do." he sank to the ground and leaned back against the wall.
Inside the room Auds was lying in bed listening to him speak. She had known he would come looking, she would have done the same if it had been the other way round, but she hadn't expected that he would stay outside the room all night. She couldn't see that going down too well with Simon if the press got hold of it.

She closed her eyes and tried to sleep, but her mind was still going over what Nyree had said. She was starting to wonder if she was right, they had only known each other for a week and surely it took longer than that to fall in love with somebody. Urs had already known how she felt about him, so maybe he had just wanted to get her into bed and she had given in far too easily. She lay there tossing and turning, unable to sleep so eventually she sat up and went to get a glass of water. She looked at the door wondering if he was still there. She opened the door quietly and saw him lying across the doorway sleeping, still wearing his stage clothes except for the white jacket which he'd removed and was using as a pillow. She smiled as she pictured the Wardrobe Lady's face if she could see that! He looked so peaceful, his hair fallen over his face so she couldn't see it properly, but yet still so sexy. She knew at that moment that he couldn't do such a horrible thing to her and she felt so bad for even thinking it. She knelt down and pushed the hair off his face and looked at it, his eyes were closed, his eyelashes long and soft looking. She ran a finger across his cheek and over his lips. She placed a soft kiss on his lips. He stirred a little then and opened his eyes briefly before closing them again and turning over. Then suddenly he shot upright and looked at her. "Auds, how long have you been there?" he asked. "Long enough to realise that i'm a stupid cow for listening to what somebody told me." she replied. She stood up and said "Come in, you can't stay out here all night."

He took the hand that she offered and stood up, picked up the jacket and walked into her room. She grinned as he threw it onto a chair and said "Wardrobe are probably going mad looking for that." Urs looked down and realised what he was wearing "Oh god" he said. "I just ran straight out of the arena to come find you when we found the note. I'll take it back in the morning." he looked at her then and said "What happened? You were fine before the show." Auds' smile vanished. "I had a phone call from Nyree, one of my friends back at the office and she told me that there was a couple of girls going round saying that I was sleeping with you. I had to tell her the truth, she knew when i went silent that it was true. Then she started shouting at me, saying that you were only using me, just trying to get me into bed by saying that you love me and that she couldn't believe that i had fallen for it." Urs took her hand and leading her to the bed, sat her down and then holding both hands said "But, you know I wouldn't do something like that, Auds I really DO love you, more than i ever thought it would be possible to love someone. I couldn't even describe the pain i felt when i read that note tonight, i knew something had happened and the thought that it might make me lose you was a feeling i never want to feel again." he looked up at her and wiped the stray tears off her face. "You really have to stop crying so much" he smiled. Auds managed a weak grin before saying "I know, but its hard to imagine that i was almost believing her, i was going to stop seeing you because of her." "What changed your mind?" he asked. She stood up and then pulling him up onto the bed, sat herself down on his knee. "I opened the door and looked at you sleeping in the corridor, you looked so sad that i knew if i had just been a quick fling for you that you wouldn't be out there trying so hard to get me to talk to you." she replied.

He ran his hands up her back and pulled her in close to him then kissed her softly before saying "What are you going to do about Nyree? Do you think she will tell your boss?" Auds looked at him then said "I don't know and right now i don't care, I just want to be with you." He curled his arms round her back and stood up, then he turned round and lay her down on the bed. He removed her nightie and his clothes then lay down beside and showed her just how much he really did love her.

Urs woke up first in the morning and went for a shower. When he came out of the bathroom wearing only a towel round his waist Auds was sitting on the bed crossed legged with her phone in her hand. He went to sit down beside her. He looked at the screen which said 6 Missed Calls. "It also has 7 text messages on it as well" she said without looking at him. "Are they all from Nyree?" he asked. Auds nodded. "Are you going to talk to her?" he asked. She shook her head "No, I don't think i would be very nice to her right now if i did." She looked at him then and said "But, I do think that i'm going to tell my boss about us though." Urs stared at her in shock. "But, you can't, if you tell him you'll get fired and..." She stopped him by placing a finger on his lips. "I don't care about my job if i don't have you though. I'd rather lose my job than lose you." Urs pulled her into a hug then said "When are you planning on doing it?" "I'm going to fly back to London tomorrow instead of flying to Spain with you guys." Urs looked like he'd just had his heart ripped out. "that means that today is going to be our last day together. Because, you'll be fired and you'll have to find a new job and it won't be with us." he started to ramble on as he got more and more upset. Auds stopped him with a kiss and said "I WILL follow you to Spain baby, I'm not going to lose you and my job on the same day. Now, lets make the most of our day together" and she reached down and pulled the towel off him.

David was eating breakfast with Carlos, Seb and Sonia. Carlos was telling them all about Michelle, but David had his mind on Urs and Auds. He wondered if he had found out what had happened to Auds. He was about to pull out his phone to call one of them when they appeared in the doorway with their arms wrapped round each other. David nudged Seb and pointed in their direction. He stared at them and Carlos realising that he'd lost their attention turned to see what they were looking at. The look on his face said it all. "What are they doing? I thought they were trying to keep it quiet?" They all gasped then as Urs gave Auds a kiss. They waited til they were sitting with them before Sonia said " Um, what are you guys up to? if you get caught out by a photographer or somebody else, Auds will be out of a job."
Urs took a sip of coffee and said "We're just enjoying our last day together." They all looked confused and David said "What?" Auds said "I'm going back to London tomorrow to tell my boss all about us while you guys fly to Spain." She looked at their faces, they looked almost as bad as Urs had up in the bedroom. "I've talked it through with Urs and i've told him that i'm not going to lose him and my job on the same day." David looked at the two of them and said "Is this because of what happened last night?" "What happened last night?" asked Seb and Carlos at the same time. Auds said "Long story, but i got a phone call from a so called friend telling me that there were rumours going round the office about me and Urs. She nearly made me stop seeing Urs by saying some really horrible things, but she just made me realise that i love him more than i do my job and never want to lose him."

The others looked confused. Auds turned to Urs then and said "I think i will probably talk to Nyree as well. Think it would be better for me to see her and do what i have to do face to face rather than over the phone." Urs nodded and then said "But, you will definitely be flying out to Spain afterwards, job or no job?" Auds nodded. "I promised you i would and i will."

They guys all spent the rest of the day just lazing about until they had to go to the arena for their sound check. Understandably Seb and Sonia and Auds and Urs never really left each others sides, all 4 of them knowing that they probably weren’t going to see each other again after that day for a while. Urs had a feeling that Auds wouldn’t make it to Spain, even though she had promised him, but he was keeping that to himself. They all headed for the arena in the late afternoon. Sonia and Auds were going to watch the show together out front tonight along with Michelle and Jane whom Carlos had managed to get tickets for. They did the show and all the girls enjoyed it and they could see their guys blowing them kisses and winks at them whenever they were near them. After they had got changed they all left to go different ways. Auds and Urs were heading back to the hotel as were Seb and Sonia. Carlos and David were going for a drink with Michelle and Jane.

Seb opened the door to their room and lifted Sonia up and carried her through it kicking the door shut behind him. He laid her down on the bed and said “Right, tonight is all about spoiling you, so I am going to go run you a hot bath with lots of bubbles and you never know, if you’re very good I might even join you in it to scrub your back.” he smiled at her then added “You wait here, I’ll be right back” then he kissed her and went off into the bathroom. She could hear the water running as he ran the bath and she smiled as he started singing quietly to himself. She loved it when he did that. He came back then and taking her hand sat her up and slowly started to remove her clothes. When he had finished he picked her up and very carefully walked through to the bathroom and placed her in the bathtub. He took hold of the bar of soap and lathered it up onto a sponge then he started to rub her back with it. He let his other hand fall into the water and start tracing its way over her body. Sonia moaned at the reaction the two different actions were creating. Then Seb pulled away and kissing her on the mouth said “You lie back and relax, I shall be right back.” then walked out into the bedroom. She lay back amongst all the bubbles and listened to him moving about in the other room. She wondered what he was up to. He came back in then and he had removed his shirt and sitting back down on the side of the bath he picked up the shampoo bottle and pouring some into his hands started to massage her head. He rinsed it out of her hair and started all over, this time with conditioner. Sonia lay there in bliss feeling his hands move down from her hair onto her shoulders and then under the water. She sighed as his hands caressed her skin and she closed her eyes. She let out a small scream when all of a sudden a jet of cold water hit her head. She opened her eyes and saw Seb grinning at her. “I am sorry, ma cherie, I could not resist.” He turned the water warm again and finished rinsing the conditioner out of her hair. Then he took her hand and told her to stand up. When she did he wrapped a big fluffy towel around her and then helped her out of the tub. He rubbed her hair dry with another towel as she stood there then he picked her up and carried her back through to the bedroom. She gasped when she saw what he’d done. There was little candles lit all around the room and there was a bottle of pink champagne sitting in an ice bucket and a large bowl of strawberries beside it. He had also sprinkled some rose petals over the bed. He put her down on the bed and she sat herself up while he went and poured them both a glass of champagne. He handed her one of them and sitting down beside her, he held his glass and said “Sonia, I love you with all of my heart and it hurts me so much that I have to leave you tomorrow. I was wondering if you would answer me one question?” he got down on one knee, then, putting his glass back on the table produced a ring from his pocket and asked “Will you marry me?” Sonia couldn’t contain the smile that was spreading across her face. “Of course I’ll marry you Seb, I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with you.” she said. He took her left hand and put the ring onto her third finger then he kissed her deeply. She dropped the glass she’d been holding as he pushed her backwards onto the bed and taking off the towel she had wrapped round her he made love to her for the first time as her fiancee.

Urs was sitting down watching Auds across the room. She was getting all her stuff ready for her flight to London. She was on an earlier flight than the guys were on to Spain. He said “Why don’t you just take a small bag with you to London and let me take the rest of your stuff to Spain for you? That way you will have less to carry” Auds smiled at him then said “Thanks babe, but I’ll be fine, besides you lot have enough to carry without lugging my stuff as well.” He frowned. He couldn’t shake the feeling that she wouldn’t be coming to Spain and he wished that he could go to London with her, but there was no way he could, they had a concert the following night.

David had had a lovely night with Carlos and the girls, he’d of course spent most of the night talking to Jane as Carlos had monopolized Michelle‘s time. He was back in his hotel room now, having excused himself and left them in the bar. He felt a tinge of sadness at the fact that all the guys apart from him seemed to have a girl with them. He totally loved his girlfriend of course, but she was back home in Colorado and he hadn’t seen her since the last time they had been home, 5 months ago. He picked up his phone and dialled her number, he had to hear her voice. She answered the phone after a few rings and he sighed at the sound of her voice and settled down for a long talk with her.

*The Next Day*

Auds had just landed in London, Urs had insisted on coming to the airport with her and they had had an emotional goodbye. She picked up her luggage then walked out of the airport and hailed a taxi. She got to her house and letting herself in the door looked around the place knowing that she shouldn’t have seen this place again so quickly. She had made an appointment to see her boss and also to see Simon Cowell. But they weren’t until later in the afternoon. She sent a message to Urs letting him know she was safely back. She didn’t want to speak to him as she knew he was worried she wasn’t going back to him, and she needed to focus on what she was going to say to everyone, and if she spoke to him he would get to her.
She unpacked her bags and flung a pile of stuff into the wash, then she made herself a coffee and sat down to go over what she was going to say. Soon she had to get ready, she had a shower and changed into one of the suits she had always worn to the office then left. She got herself a taxi and arrived outside the offices of Sony Bmg. She looked up at the building that she had walked into every day for the last 6 years of her life and felt nervous. She took a deep breath and walked inside. She took the stairs up instead of the lift to give her more time to get everything straight in her head. She went to the desk and said she was here and that she had an appointment. Then she sat down and waited until he was ready for her. She was thinking about how much had happened to her over the last week when she was told that she could go in. She stood up, knocked on the door and went in. Her boss looked up at her and smiled “Auds, good to see you, how are you doing, how are things going with the IL Divo guys?” he asked. He indicated that she could sit down. She said “Actually, I prefer to stand thanks.” She could tell by the way that he’d greeted her that he had no idea of what she was about to say, Nyree obviously hadn’t said anything to him. “The guys are great, they should be just landing in Spain about now, we’ve been in Paris for the last few days and then they’re moving on again. They’re very busy men, especially at the moment with the tour.” she said. He looked at her and said “What’s wrong? Listen Auds, you’ve worked for me for the last 6 years, one of my best workers and I like to think that we are friends as well, I know when something is worrying someone and you’re worried about something.” Auds nodded and said “Maybe I will sit down. I’m sorry, because I don’t think you’re going to like what I’m about to say.” He looked at her with a worried look on his face and said “Carry on.”
She thought of Urs and smiled inwardly. “Ok, nobody here knows that I am a massive IL Divo fan except for Nyree and Jacqui and when I say massive, I mean massive. I fell in love with one of them the first time I saw him on the television and have loved him ever since. We went to see them play Wembley a couple of months ago and met them on their way into the arena. Then last week I come into work and find out that they have fired their PA and that Nyree and Jacqui had put my name on the list for an interview. I told them straight away to take my name off it as there was no way I could work with them, him especially. But then you came in and said that you were pleased to see my name there and that you were giving me a personal recommendation. I tried to make a mess of the interview so they wouldn’t hire me, but they still did. I couldn’t believe it.” she looked at him before carrying on to see if there was a reaction. “I told myself that I could cope with being around him all the time, but I was fooling myself. There was an immediate spark between the two of us which I ignored to begin with, but it caused a tension between us and the other three were getting sick of it. So they shut us together and made us talk to each other. He told me that he was falling in love with me and that he wanted us to be together. I told him I couldn’t do that, it was against the rules of the company and no matter how much I wanted it, I couldn’t do it. But, he kept saying how I shouldn’t let anything get in the way of being happy.” She looked at her boss again who was sitting there with a sad look on his face. He sat forward and leaned his arms on the desk and said “So, I take it you’re not here to tell me that you told him to stop annoying you and walked away from him.” Auds shook her head. “I’m here to give you this, I thought you deserved to be told face to face.” She handed him a letter she’d had in her bag. “Its my resignation.” she added. He looked shocked and said “But..” She shook her head again “I’m sorry, but I fell in love with Urs ages ago, long before I’d ever met them and he spent the night before last sleeping in the corridor of the hotel we were in because he loves me too and thought he had lost me over something I had been told. And because I know that we’re not allowed to go get personal with our clients, I’m resigning so that he is no longer my client.” Her boss looked shocked “I won’t accept this Auds, you don’t have to do this. Don’t throw away your career, all you’ve worked so hard for.” Auds looked at him then said “I’m not throwing my career away, I’ll find another job somewhere else. I just can’t lose Urs, I would rather give up my entire career and travel with him than give him up and carry on working here and being totally miserable.” “So, is there absolutely no way I can change your mind?” he asked. Auds shook her head. “No way at all.” she said.

“Well, in that case I’m really sad to lose you, and I hope you do find something else and that everything works out well for you.” Auds stands up and shakes his hand then turns to walk away. “Auds.” he says. She turns round and looks at him “I appreciate the fact that you came and told me in person. That must have taken some nerve to do.” he said. She grinned and said “You have no idea!” then she left the office. She sank into the seat beside her and thought God, I have to go and do this all over again with Simon now. She stood up shakily and went off to his office.

The guys were in Spain with 3 out of the 4 of them feeling sad. Seb, because he had had to say goodbye to Sonia and didn’t know when he was going to see her again. Urs for the same reason, he had received Auds’ message and was wondering when she would call him to tell him how things went. David was the other one, he was still feeling strange. He couldn’t wait until they were headed back home to America. At least he would be on home ground then and slightly nearer to his girlfriend. Carlos was ecstatic to be home and was looking forward to seeing his mama and all his family again. He thought about Michelle and wondered if she would phone him or if he would have to do all the phoning. Her and Jane were staying in Paris for another night and flying home the next day.

*Simon’s Office*

Auds had been in Simon’s office for over half an hour. She had told him everything she had told her boss and that she had resigned which meant that she no longer worked for the company anymore and she couldn’t be the guys P.A. anymore. He looked at her with a puzzled look on his face then said “Okay, I heard everything you just said, but what I don’t understand is how you can’t stay on as P.A.?” “Because I don’t work here anymore, You hired me from within the company, I don’t work for the company anymore.” she replied. Simon nodded. “Exactly, I hired you, which means that as long as you’re working for me, I pay your wage, not the company. You may not work for Bmg anymore, but you’re one hell of a worker, even in just a week I can see the difference you’ve made and I want you to stay on as the guys P.A. They’ll be lost without you Auds, I’ll even double your pay to keep you if i have to.” Auds stared at him in shock, Simon Cowell was practically begging her to keep working for him, “I can’t.” she said. “I can’t keep working with them as long as Urs and I love each other. He’s more important to me than the job, no matter how much money you try giving me.” she smiled. Simon shook his head. “This is why I want you to stay Auds, you’re not afraid to stand up to people, and you won’t back down if you really believe in something.” he smiled. “BUT” he said. “I always get what I want in the end. Look, I don’t really care if you and Urs are in love, as long as he is happy, because he gives his best work when he’s happy, when he’s sad, he doesn’t. I’ve seen it before. If you ask me, it’s a stupid rule anyway. Its not as if you can help who you fall in love with. All I will ask though, is that you keep a professional distance from each other at concerts, performances, photo shoots etc.. The rest of the time you can do what you like.” he said. Auds was stunned. Of all the scenario’s she had gone over in her head about this conversation, this wasn’t one of them. “You look shocked.” said Simon Auds nodded. “I am, I don’t know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn’t this.” she replied. “I don’t know what to say Simon.”

He smiled at her and said “I’m not like all the stuff that’s said about me in the press. I say what I think and people think I’m being nasty and mean. I’m not, that’s just the way I am. I appreciate people being honest with me and I treat them with respect for it. You had the guts to come and talk to not only me but your boss as well in person, not through a phone call or a letter and that shows that you are a strong willed person.”
Auds grinned “But, you don’t know how nervous I was inside at the thought!!” Simon laughed. “Okay, I’ll take your offer Simon, thank you so much and i promise that Urs and I will be very professional when we’re at work.” she smiled at him and shook his hand. She turned to leave then stopped and looking back said “If you speak to Urs or any of the guys don’t tell them what’s happened, I want to surprise him.” Simon nodded and said “I won’t say a thing.”

Auds went down to her office, well her old office now, and pulling a filing box out of the cupboard started putting all her stuff into it. She was almost finished when the door opened and Nyree was standing there. “Auds” she said. “I’m sorry for what I said, I didn’t mean it, I was just angry and jealous I suppose, I tried calling you back to apologise but you wouldn‘t pick up.” she suddenly realised that Auds was packing her stuff up. “What are you doing? I never told anyone what you said, why are you packing your stuff?” Auds looked at her with such hate in her eyes that Nyree actually took a step backwards. “Don’t even try to apologise Nyree. Because of what you said I almost lost Urs, I started to believe that you were right, I actually ran away from the arena while they were performing. He came to my hotel room straight after that show, the minute he knew something had happened. He knocked on the door for ages trying to get me to open it and listen to him. Eventually he went to sleep lying across the doorway. I opened it to see him lying there with such a miserable look on his face that I knew he would never have done what you said and I hated myself for listening to you. It was at that moment that I realised I loved him much more than I loved my job and I didn’t want to live without him.” she stopped for a breath then carried on “I came back today to hand in my resignation. I’ve given up everything so that I can be with him forever.” Nyree opened her mouth to speak, but Auds glared at her so she quickly shut it again. I thought that I would have gotten some support and happiness from my best friend about finding a soul mate, we always said we would be at each others weddings when we found Mr right. Well, when Urs and I get married, I don’t want you anywhere near our wedding. I never want to see or hear from you ever again.” Auds’ voice sounded calm but Nyree knew that she was controlling it well and that if she let go completely it wouldn’t sound so calm. They had always joked about not wanting to be the poor person on the end of Auds’ anger and now she knew how that felt. “Auds, please. I really am sorry.” she said. “I don’t know what else I can say.” she added. “Don’t say anything, I am this close to losing my temper completely and then I will not be able to stop myself from doing something I will regret later.” said Auds. She picked up the box with all her stuff in it and pushed her way past Nyree to get out the door saying “Goodbye.”

Nyree watched her walk off down the corridor and felt terrible. She had just lost the best friend she had ever had and it was all her own fault.

Auds decided to walk home, it wasn’t far from there and she needed the fresh air. She stopped of to buy a bottle of wine and pick up a pizza for dinner. She got home and sat down. She looked at her watch and saw that it was 7.00pm. That means that it will be 8.00pm in Spain and the guys will be just about to go on. She decided to phone Urs after the show. She poured herself a glass of the wine and put some of the pizza onto a plate and sitting down switched on the television.

Urs was going mad in Spain, they were due on stage in 10 minutes and he still hadn’t heard from Auds. “Why hasn’t she called yet.” he shouted at nobody in particular. Carlos said “Maybe she hasn’t had time, you don’t know how long she’s had to wait to see her boss and how long he was going to keep her.” Urs shook his head and said “They wouldn’t have kept her this long, I’m going to phone Simon, see if he knows anything. She might have popped in to see him as well.” Carlos shook his head, “Just remember that he doesn’t know about you two, so act like its not that important, you were just worried.” Urs nodded. He picked up his phone and dialled Simon’s number. It rang a few times then Simon answered “Hello” “Simon, its Urs. I was just wondering if you saw Auds at all today, she was in London to go see her boss about something and we haven’t heard from her at all today, just a quick text message to say she had landed safely.” Simon smiled then said “Yes actually, I did see her, she made an appointment to see me earlier.”
Urs frowned. “She made an appointment to see you? What for?” Carlos raised his head when Urs said that and looked at him, Urs just shrugged. “Now Urs, you know I can’t tell you things like that. It was a private meeting between Auds and me. If she wants to tell you when she gets back to you lot that’s up to her. All I know is that she was leaving here and going to book herself onto the next flight to Spain. She may even be on a plane as we speak, I don’t know. Now, is that all? Because I was in the middle of something.” “Sure, sorry for bothering you.” said Urs then hung up after saying goodbye. Carlos looked at him and said “She went to see him?” Urs nodded, “He said that she had made an appointment to see him, but that he couldn’t give me any of the details as it was a private meeting. I’m going to call her, this is weird.” Just then David popped his head in the door and said “That’s us ready, we have to go” Urs muttered something in Swiss and dropped his phone onto the table and walked off. David stared at Carlos and said “What’s up with him?” “he’s just spoken to Simon, Auds went to see him today, but he wouldn’t tell him what was said. He was just about to phone her.” replied Carlos. David shook his head “Do you think those two will ever get through a whole day without one of them worrying about something that’s happened?” Carlos laughed and said “probably not!!” then they followed Urs down the corridor towards the stage.

It was dark when Auds woke up, she had a stiff neck and a sore back from lying at a funny angle. The tv was still on, but there was no picture as it was that late, the bottle of wine lying empty on the floor. She looked at her watch 2.38am. She looked again thinking she had misread It. She must have fallen asleep, she stood up and went through to her bedroom and got changed into her pyjama’s. She was about to climb into the bed and go back to sleep when she thought she should check her phone. She went back through to the other room and found it on the kitchen table, she picked it up and saw that she had 4 missed calls. “Crap” she thought when she saw that they were all from Urs. She had meant to phone him but she must have fallen asleep. She couldn’t do it now could she, it would be late over there, he was bound to be sleeping. She checked the answer phone and found a message from him sounding upset and rambling on about Simon. She decided to ring him anyway. She dialled his number and waited. It rang for a while before she heard a muffled voice saying “hello” She smiled and said “Sorry babe, didn’t mean to wake you, just got your message and thought you sounded upset.” The voice on the other end suddenly got much clearer and said “Auds, I’ve been so worried about you, why didn’t you call me to let us know how you got on?” Auds sighed “Sorry hun, I was going to do it when I got in, but I was late and then I realised that you would probably be just heading on stage, so was going to do it afterwards, but i must have fallen asleep, as I just woke up and saw all your missed calls and your answer phone message. What were you saying about Simon?” she asked. “I phoned him and he said that you had arranged a meeting with him, but he wouldn’t tell me why and why are you not on your way to Spain?” he asked just realising that she was obviously still in London. Auds grinned “Because when I phoned to book a seat, I couldn’t get one until tomorrow, so don’t worry I will be with you by tomorrow night before the show.” Urs relaxed a little, though he still wouldn’t relax completely until she was actually there with him. “So” he asked. “How did you get on with your boss?” “Alright, it went as I thought it would, I handed in my resignation and he accepted it. I no longer work for Sony Bmg.” she replied. Urs wished he could give her a hug, but instead said “Are you sure you did the right thing babe, I mean you pretty much gave up your whole career so that we could be together.” Auds smiled, she was looking forward to seeing the look on his face when she told him the news. “Yeah, I’m sure, now I shall let you go back to sleep as I’m sure you’re tired. I will see you tomorrow hun. I love you.” “okay Auds, I’m looking forward to having you back in my arms again. I love you too.” he replied. Then they both hung up the phone and went to sleep thinking of each other.

The next day Auds packed her bags again, took a taxi to the airport and checked her bags in. She bought herself a coffee and at down with a magazine while she waited. Just before she boarded the plane she sent a message to Urs telling him she was just boarding and that she would see him soon, then she switched her phone off.

*4 hours later*

Urs was worried, Steve had gone to the airport to pick Auds up saying that none of the guys should go in case they were spotted. He’d phoned them to say that the flight had been delayed, but they still weren’t back. He was pacing up and down the room he was in with David and Carlos. They looked at each other, they didn’t want to admit to Urs, but they were kind of worried as well. Seb came in with a weird look on his face and said “Urs, what was Auds flight no?” Urs looked at the bit of paper he’d written it down on and said “BA 193 London Heathrow to Madrid. Why?” All the colour seemed to drain out of Seb’s face and he almost fell into the seat below him. Urs looked at his face and said more urgently this time “Why did you want to know that Seb?” Seb looked like he was going to be sick and standing up he walked over to the tv, switched it on and went to the news channel.

This big headline flashed up “HEATHROW FLIGHT HIT BY FIRE” then underneath it scrolling was “British Airways Flight no 193 flying from London Heathrow to Madrid, Spain has been forced to make a crash landing as three out of its four engines went on fire.”

“NO” cried Urs. He grabbed the remote off Seb and turned the sound up to hear what they were saying, but he was too upset to follow the Spanish news reporter. He turned to Carlos and said “Please, tell me what he’s saying, was they’re anyone hurt, did they come down safely, where did they come down?” He had tears running down his face as he said it. Carlos nodded and started telling him what was being said. David put a hand on Urs shoulder and said “I’m going to phone Steve and tell him. Urs nodded and looked back to the tv. David motioned to Seb to come with him and once out of the room said “We’d better phone Simon and tell him as well. I’ll do that if you want to phone Steve.” Seb nodded and took out his phone to call Steve. He talked to him for a few minutes then hung up. David was still on the phone to Simon so he walked back into the room to see if there was any more news. He sat down beside them and said “Steve is going to talk to someone at the airport and see if he can get anything out of them, then he’s going to come straight back.” Carlos looked up and said “Okay, maybe he will get something new from there. This guy on the tv is just going over the same stuff.” he stopped as David walked in and stood behind them. “Simon wants to know if we want him to fly out here? he can’t believe it.” he said. Urs shook his head “There’s no point in him coming over here, we can’t tell him anything new. Tell him thank you and we’ll just let him know if we hear anything.” David nodded and said that to Simon then said goodbye and hung up. He went and sat next to Urs and said “She’ll be alright, she’s tough and she won’t have just put herself through the last couple of days to end up losing you now.” Seb and Carlos both agreed. They all just sat there in silence then and watched the news report until Steve appeared back.

They all looked up as Steve walked in the door. He looked at them all sitting around the tv. They all looked pretty bad, but Urs was so white, it was as if he were a ghost, and his eyes were all red and puffy from all the crying. "I'm sorry guys, I couldn't get anything out of the people at the airport, they're keeping quiet, even when i said we had a friend on the plane, they still wouldn't tell me." he said. "How are you all doing?" he added. Urs let out a sob and rubbed his eyes which made them look even more red. Seb put an arm over his shoulder to try and comfort him but he shrugged it off and standing up, headed for the bedroom shutting the door behind him. David got up to go after him, but Steve stopped him. "Let him be, he probably just wants to be alone." David sat down again. "I just feel so useless, we all do. Auds is out there somewhere and we don't know if she's still alive or not and Urs is taking it really bad." Steve ran his hand over his hair and said "Look guys, you're not going to like this, but I think that you should still do tonight’s show. We can't cancel it at this late stage without telling them the real reason why." 3 heads immediately shook in disagreement. "Non, how can we wiv Auds out zere somewhere." said Seb "Besides, even if we agree, you'll never get Urs to do it." added Carlos. "Its alright guys, I agree with Steve." They all turned in shock to see Urs standing there. "Its what she would want, we can dedicate it to her, Then maybe when we get back there will be some more news." he said. "But Urs" said David. "Will you be okay to sing?" He nodded. "I may be a bit shaky at times, but if we tell the audience that a member of our team was on the plane that came down today, they will probably understand that we may not be 100%." Carlos suddenly smiled and said "Well, in that case, you'd better head off to make up now, they're going to have a hard job covering those red puffy eyes up!!"

They did the show explaining that their P.A. and close friend had been on the plane that had gone down earlier and they were all a bit shaken up. Urs managed to cope until they sung 'Somewhere', as the fans who came to the stage kept telling him how sorry they were. He could feel the tears starting to fall and tried hard to fight them back. He did the whole encore with a very shaky voice then left the stage quickly and collapsed into a chair backstage. He checked his phone in the vain hope that she'd phoned him or sent a message, but there was nothing. The tears started running down his face, but he took a deep breath and wiped them away. He still had to go out past the fans and he couldn't look like he had earlier in front of them. They all got changed quickly and left to go back to the hotel. Urs just got straight into the car, but the other three stopped for a few minutes to talk to the fans.

When they got back to the hotel, they all stayed in the same room and switched the tv on again. It was a different guy this time, Carlos started to tell them what he was saying. "The plane came down about an hour into its journey, they haven't found it yet, so they can't say if any of the passengers are hurt." he said. He looked at Urs who looked terrible and said "You should go to bed my friend, there's nothing we can do here until they find the plane. We'll stay up and watch the news." Urs shook his head "No, i'm not going anywhere until i know she's okay." "He's right Urs." said David. "You should rest now when you can. If we hear anything new, we'll come and get you. I promise." Urs looked round him at the guys he called friends, although they were more like brothers and saw three faces full of concern, not only for him, but for Auds as well. "Okay, I'll go, but i probably won't sleep." he said then stood up and hugged each of them He turned to go then stopped and said sadly "She promised me that she would follow me to Spain." Carlos looked at David and Seb who didn't know what to say. Steve looked up from the tv then and said "She did follow you Urs, its just going to take her a bit longer to get here, but she will get here. Now, off you go." Urs nodded then went off into the bedroom and shut the door. He got into the bed and let silent tears fall and he fell asleep thinking of the past week and how amazing it had been.

Auds opened her eyes slowly, she couldn't see much except for a lot of smoke. She tried to stand up but she couldn't move, something seemed to be stopping her. She groaned as a sharp pain went through her leg. She felt someone come up beside her and said "Urs?" A female voice answered her. "No, my name is Fiona, can you tell me yours?" "Its Auds" she replied. then added. "What’s going on, why can't i move?" Fiona said "The plane had to crash land, we don't know why and you can't move because your leg got jammed under the seats when the plane crashed and we had to pull you free to get you out of there. We've tied it to some wood we found to try and keep it straight." Auds couldn't take it all in. She looked confused and said "So where is all the smoke coming from?" Fiona lowered her head and said sadly "That’s the plane, it went up in flames just after we'd got you out. We were lucky, there was still people in it when it exploded." Auds stared at her. "You keep saying we, who's we?" she asked. Fiona pointed over to a spot further away and said "The other people that got out of the plane. I should get you over to them now you're awake, we didn't want to move you again until we knew it was just your leg that was hurt." she stood up and said "I'll be right back" then walked away.

Auds laid her head back down on the ground and tried to understand what she had been told. Suddenly she reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, Urs would be going mad, she had promised him she would be there. She switched it on and waited for the signal, but it didn't have one. She heard voices behind her and then Fiona appeared at her side again, this time with four guys. They each picked up a piece of Auds and carried her back to where the others were all gathered. "I need to speak to my boyfriend, he'll be going crazy, I have to tell him i'm alright." said Auds. "Sorry love, there's no way of getting in touch with anyone, we just have to wait until the rescue team find us." said one of the men. Auds started to cry "But you don't understand, i promised him that i would be there for him and after everything that’s happened i really needed to keep that promise. Just then they heard a noise that sounded like another plane. The ones who weren't hurt ran into an open space and looked into the sky. There was a helicopter flying over them. They started shouting and screaming and it turned round and began to lower itself down. It landed and a couple of guys jumped out and ran over to them. They told them what they knew then took them over to where the injured people were. One guy radioed in that they had found the plane. They took Auds and the rest of the injured with them telling the others that there would be more coming back for them.

Back at the hotel they guys were still waiting for more news. Steve had left them to go sort out a different problem. Seb had fallen asleep in the chair and David was almost sleeping, but Carlos was still watching the news when the reporter said "News just in, they have found the plane" "David, Seb." he cried. David jumped and Seb stirred. "What’s happened?" asked David. "Go get Urs, they've found the plane." said Carlos. Seb jumped up and said "I'll get him" and disappeared. David stared at the tv, they were showing pictures of the place they had found them and the smoke was really bad. Seb and Urs came running back through and Urs said "Where is it? Have they said anything else yet?" Carlos repeated what they'd just said "The plane has been found, it crash landed and then went on fire. Some passengers were found in a clearing, some of them injured. But one of them confirmed that not all of them had got off the plane before it went up in flames." Urs stared at him, then at the picture on the tv screen. "Have they confirmed any of the passengers yet?" asked Urs. Carlos shook his head sadly and then said "I'm sure she got off Urs, we'll just have to wait a bit longer, now they know where everyone is they just need to identify them and they can start telling who they are."

The helicopter had arrived at a hospital in Madrid and Auds was taken straight into theatre for surgery on her leg. She was back on a ward when a nurse came up to her and smiled at her. "Hello there, how are you feeling now?" she asked. Auds smiled back and said "I'll be fine when i can speak to my boyfriend, has he been told that i'm here yet?" The nurse said "I don't think so, if you give me his number i'll do that for you right now." Auds smiled and gave her Urs name and number and said "Thank you so much and could you tell him that i love him very much please?" The nurse nodded and went off to make the phone call.

They guys had been trying to get Urs to eat something, but he wasn't wanting to leave the tv, so eventually they had ordered room service so that he could eat and still watch the tv. They were all there when his phone rang. He grabbed it and looked at the number on the screen and didn't recognise it. He frowned and answered it with a "Hello." This female voice said "Oh Hello, is this Urs Buhler?" Urs said "Yes, who is this?" The lady replied "I am Staff Nurse Juliane Buedo. I work at the Hospital De Madrid, we have got your girlfriend Auds here with us, she wanted us to let you know that she is alright and that she loves you very much." Urs had tears flowing down his face but managed to say "OMG, thank you SO much and can you tell her that i love her very much too and i will see her very soon." The nurse said something else then Urs hung up. He looked at the others and said "She's alright, they've taken her to the Hospital De Madrid, that was one of the nurses. We have to go see her, right now. The other guys grinned and hugged him. "I told you she would be fine, didn't I?" said David. They left to go to the hospital then getting Steve from his room on the way. It took them nearly an hour to find the hospital, but they got there and Urs ran ahead of the others. He went to the desk and asked the nurse behind it where Auds was. The nurse smiled at him and said "You must be Urs? we spoke on the phone. Auds is waiting for you. She's in that room over there." pointing to a door a little down the corridor. By this time the others had caught up and they all headed for the room Auds was in.

Urs stopped outside the door and turned to the others and said "Would you mind if i went in by myself first?" The all shook their head and Seb said "On you go my friend, we zall wait out here until you tell us to come in." Urs hugged him then knocked on the door and walked in. He saw her lying on the bed and his heart started beating really fast. She hadn't noticed him, he realised when he got closer that it was because she was sleeping. He sat down beside her and just watched her. He couldn't believe that she was actually right there, in front of him and that she was okay. He ran his fingers over her cheek, then pushed some hair that had fallen over her eyes out of the way. She stirred then at the touch and opened her eyes. When she saw him sitting there her eyes widened and she burst into tears. He climbed onto the bed and pulled her into his side and just let her cry. Once she had stopped she lifted her head and said "I thought i was never going to see you again." Urs pulled her in tight to him letting her scent wash over him. He kissed her forehead and said "That’s it, i'm never letting you go anywhere without me again!" Auds laughed. Urs kissed her again, this time on the mouth deepening it slightly as he ran a hand over her body. It was only when she flinched that he pulled away. "What did i do?" he asked alarmed when he saw the pain in her eyes. Auds shook her head and said "Its alright baby, you didn't know. I had to have surgery on my leg when i got here, some of the other passengers had to pull me free of where i was as my leg had got jammed under the seats when we crashed. They only just got me out before the plane..." she stopped short of what she was about to say. She looked at his face and said "I owe them my life, if they hadn't pulled me out i would have..." Urs stopped her with a kiss before she could say the rest. He knew what she'd been about to say and didn't want to hear it, he didn't even want to think about it.

He suddenly remembered the guys sitting outside and said "you up to some more visitors? there's a pile of guys i know who wanted to come see you as well sitting outside." he grinned. Auds smiled and said "I wonder who that could be?! Let them come in." she said. Urs went to the door and opening it motioned to the guys to come in. They all walked into the room and grinned when they saw her sitting up in the bed. They all tried to give her a hug at the same time and ended up falling on top of her. Urs tried to tell them to be careful, but Auds smiled and said "Don't worry babe, as long as they don't touch my leg, I don't care if they all sit on me. I'm just so happy to see you all again." Then she pulled him close to her and whispered into his ear "And when i'm out of here, I shall show you just how happy i am to see you." He went red in the face then and Auds laughed and kissed him before the others could see. They all stayed in with her until the nurse came in and told them they would have to leave if they didn't stop making such a noise. Carlos looked at David and Seb and motioned his head towards the door. David stood up and said "I think we'll leave you two alone now, before we get told off again!!" Seb hugged Auds and said "Its so good that you're alright Auds, I don't know what Urs would have done if you hadn't been." Just before they walked out the door Steve turned and said "Just give me a call when you need a lift Urs, I'll come back for you." Urs nodded and said "Thanks Steve, but i think i shall be staying here til Auds gets out." Steve smiled. He didn't mention the fact that they were going to have to leave for Germany in two days. He left them alone and Urs laid down on the bed beside Auds and started telling her how he had felt the last couple of days and how they had done the show and dedicated it to her. It wasn't long before they cuddled into each other and fell asleep.

Luckily they hadn’t got a show the next day and they all spent the day in the hospital with Auds. Steve appeared at some point in the evening and asked Urs if he could talk to him. The other guys looked at each other knowing what was coming and waited for the shouting to begin. They hadn’t wanted to tell him, preferring to let him be happy again for a while. Auds noticed the looks on their faces and said “What’s going on guys?” They looked at each other before Seb said “Steve is here to tell Urs that we have to leave for Germany tomorrow. We are just waiting for the shouting to start when he realises that means…” “that he will have to leave me here.” finished Auds. She looked worried and said “David, help me up please. I have to go speak to him before he does something he regrets.” The three guys grinned, she really did know him well. David helped her swing her legs over the side of the bed and put his arm round her back to support her while she walked, or rather, hobbled on her good leg. They reached the door and Carlos opened it so they could get through. Steve and Urs were sitting on chairs outside the room and Urs looked like he was trying to keep calm and not shout. He looked shocked to see Auds appearing in front of him and snapped at David. “What are you doing? She’s meant to be in bed resting, why is she up, she could hurt her leg again.” Auds looked at him and said “Urs, there’s no need for that, I asked David to help me. They told me that you have to be in Germany tomorrow and I know that you won’t want to go, but you have to. I will be alright here. I’m in a hospital, and nothing will happen to me here. I will have time to work on getting my leg better and once I can put some weight on it again I shall be out of here like a shot and with you again.” Urs shook his head and took her hand saying “I am not leaving you alone again, I’ve only just got you back, how can you expect me to leave you again. I’m not doing it and that’s final.”

Auds leaned further into David for support and said “I just remembered that I never told you all what I went to see Simon in London for. After I had given my boss my resignation I went to see him to tell him that I couldn’t be you guys P.A. anymore. Of course he wondered why, so I told him about us and the policy Sony Bmg had. Well, he really surprised me then as he said that it didn’t matter that I didn’t work for Bmg anymore, as he had already hired me and as long as I worked for him, he paid my wage not Bmg. He also said that he thought it was a stupid rule and that people couldn’t help who they fell in love with.” She stopped as she saw four faces staring at her with shock on them. Steve had walked off and hadn’t been listening to her.
“So, what are you trying to say Auds?” asked Carlos. Auds grinned and said “What I am trying to say is that Simon told me he wasn’t prepared to lose me and he knew that you guys would be lost without me around. So, as long as Urs and I keep ourselves discreet when working he didn’t care what we did otherwise and that he wanted me to stay on as P.A. Of course, I said No Way.” she laughed as their faces dropped from the smiles that had been forming into shock again. “I’m sorry, couldn’t resist it!! I said of course I would stay.” said Auds. They all grinned and hugged her which knocked her off balance and David had to catch her before she fell down completely. Urs put his arm round her back on the other side and said “Right, lets get you back into bed before anything else happens to you.” and him and David supported her back into the room. Once she was back on the bed she said “That means that you guys have to do as I say and Urs, you have to go to Germany with them. IL Divo is about four guys, not three, It doesn’t work with one of you missing.” Urs looked like he was about to protest when she said “You did a whole show when you knew that i was out there somewhere, not even knowing if I was okay and you coped with it. This time you will know that I am okay and exactly where I am and that you can talk to me on the phone whenever you need to.” Urs nodded slightly and said “But, how long will you be here and when will you be able to join us?” “I don’t know, but you will be the first to know when I find out.” she said. “And I shall expect you to come and collect me when I do get released.” she smiled. Steve appeared at the doorway again, more wary this time. “Its alright Steve.” said Auds. “I think I’ve managed to get him to leave with you all tomorrow.” Urs nodded at Steve then said “But you’ll have to pick me up from here, I’m not leaving Auds until I have to.” Steve smiled at Auds, the relief on his face showing that there wasn’t going to be a massive argument. “Thanks Auds and that’s fine Urs, its on the way to the airport anyway, I’m sure one of the guys will gather your stuff together for you.” The other three nodded. No-one had noticed that Auds had gone pale and shivered at the mention of the airport.

The next day was hard on both Auds and Urs, Urs didn’t want to leave and Auds didn’t really want him to go either, but kept it to herself. All too soon Steve and the guys appeared at her door. They all came in and hugged her and said that they hoped it wouldn’t be too long until she was back with them. They left Urs to say his goodbye in private, Steve saying on the way out the door “We have to leave in the next 10 minutes Urs, to get us there in time for the flight.” Urs nodded and turned back to Auds who was lying back on the bed with her head turned towards the window. He took his hand and turned it round to face him. She wasn’t crying, but he could tell that it was because she was trying hard not to. He kissed her softly on the mouth and said “I don’t know how you talked me into doing this, I really don’t want to leave you here alone.” Auds took a deep breath and said “I already told you I would be alright baby, The thought of getting out of here and back into your arms for good will make me work harder with my physio and I’ll be with you before you know it.” She reached up to wipe away a tear that had fallen down his cheek and said “Don’t cry baby, It will set me off and I don’t want you to leave worrying about me.” Urs half smiled and half laughed before saying “If you think I’m not going to worry about you anyway, you’re wrong.” Auds grinned and pulled him into her for a hug. Steve’s head appeared round the door and Urs nodded at him and kissing Auds deeply pulled away saying “I love you so much, I’ll ring you when we land in Germany to let you know we’re there.” Auds smiled and said “looking forward to it babe, I love you so much too.” then they hugged one last time and Urs walked towards the door, before he went through it he turned to blow a kiss at her, then he was gone. Auds turned round to face the window again and let the tears she had been holding back run down her face. Urs got into the car with the others without saying a word. The others looked at each other and Seb who was the nearest put his arm around him to offer some comfort. Urs smiled gratefully at him.

The next few weeks went by so quickly that neither Auds or Urs had time to miss each other that much. Simon had arranged extra photo shoots and interviews as well as the concerts for the guys to keep them busy and Auds had been moved to a room in the Physiotherapy part of the hospital and was spending most of her days working on getting strength back in her leg. They talked everyday, usually more than once.

3 weeks after Auds had been taken to the hospital she was told that she was being allowed to go home. She would still have to use a walking stick to help with her walking for a while, but she didn’t need to be in the hospital anymore. She couldn’t wait to tell Urs the news, she had missed him more than she had been letting on and she had missed practically the whole of their European leg of the tour. They were in Switzerland now, back home for Urs and she knew how much he had been wanting to take her there and show her his country. But they were moving on from there and she was disappointed, but there would be plenty of time for her to see it again. Just then the phone in her room started ringing, the nurses had soon realised that it would be easier than them running back and forth with their one and had had one put into her room all the time, she picked it up to hear Urs voice. “Hey baby” she said. “How’s things going?” “Busy, we never seem to have time to just sit down and relax” he said. Auds smiled to herself then said “Well, I wouldn’t get too comfy tomorrow, I’m expecting a visitor then.” she could hear the confusion in his voice as he said “What? Who’s going to see you tomorrow?” She laughed then and said “I thought I’d told you that you would be coming to get me when they finally let me out of here, didn’t I?” Urs finally realised what she meant and practically shouted down the phone. “You’re getting out tmrw, you can come back to us?” Auds laughed. “yeah, they’re finally letting me go, I can’t wait to see you again.” “That is great news babe, I need to go talk to Steve and get the arrangements sorted for getting you here. I’ll phone you back when I’ve talked to him. I love you.” he said. “I love you too baby” replied Auds then hung up the phone. She sat down on the chair and smiled to herself. Tomorrow she would be back with Urs and the others again and this time she was never leaving them. The her smile faded as she realised the only way she could do that was by getting on a plane again.
She hadn’t told the nurses, but she had been having dreams, they weren’t bad enough to be called nightmares, about being in a plane and then it would crash, always the same dream, the plane would never reach its destination safely. She didn’t know if she would have the courage to step onto a plane again, that was part of the reason she wanted Urs to come get her.

She was pulled back from her thoughts then by the phone ringing again. She picked it up and said “So have you got it all sorted then baby? I can’t wait to hold you in my arms and kiss you all over again.” “Well, that sounds too good an offer to refuse, but I don’t think my girlfriend would be too impressed.” said an American voice. “OMG, David.” said Auds feeling her face going red. “I’m sorry, I just assumed it was Urs, he said he was going to call me when he’d talked to Steve.” David laughed. “He’s still talking to him, I just thought I would call and talk to you for a few minutes while he’s doing that.” Auds smiled to herself. “How’s he really been since you all left here?” she asked. “Quiet, more so than usual, worried about you. Its just as well that Simon made us so busy, he hasn’t really had much time to sit down and think about it too much.” he replied. “How about you, how have you really been?” he asked. Auds closed her eyes and let out a sigh. “Tired, bored, lonely. The only thing that kept me going was talking to Urs and knowing that I would be back with him and you all soon.” David could tell that she was keeping something from him and said “Its all right to be scared Auds, after what you went through, I would be scared too.” Auds didn’t say anything for a minute then said. “I know it’s the only way I can get to you guys, but I’m not sure if I can get on another plane. I’ve been having dreams about it every time I close my eyes and the plane crashes every time.” "That’s not going to happen again Auds, I know its easy for me to say, but its actually rare for a plane to crash, its actually the safest form of transport.” said David. Auds smiled and said “Thanks David, I keep telling myself that, its just the thought of actually walking onto a plane again.” “No problem Auds, I’ll just hand you over to Urs now, he’s just walked in, see you tomorrow.” He handed the phone to Urs who said “That’s all sorted, I’ll fly out tonight after the show and we’ll come back tomorrow. I can’t believe that you’re finally getting out, I know its only been three weeks, but its felt like a lifetime.” Auds smiled “At least you had the other guys for company.” she said. “All I had were your phone calls.” Urs sighed “I’m sorry babe, I wish I could have been there with you.” he stopped and she heard him talking to someone in the background. “I’ve got to go now, we have to go do another interview. I’ll see you later, I love you.” he said. “Okay, I love you too baby.” replied Auds then they both hung up.

The rest of the day and the evening seemed to pass very slowly. Auds knew it would be late before Urs got there as the concert wouldn’t finish until around 10pm and then he had to actually get to Spain. She decided to try and get some sleep. The nurses on the night shift knew he would be arriving at some point. She had all her stuff packed ready for a quick getaway in the morning. It was amazing how much she had actually managed to gather in the three weeks she had been there. She got into her bed glad that it would be the last time she had to sleep in it. She hated hospital beds, you could never get comfy in them, no matter what you did. She must have fallen asleep as she woke up to find Urs curled up asleep in the seat beside her bed. She reached out to touch him, making sure that it was actually him and not just her dreaming. He stirred at her touch and opened his eyes. He smiled when he saw that she was awake and murmured "Hey babe." Auds grinned and said "How long have you been here?" Urs looked at his watch and said "About an hour or so, you were sleeping, so i just left you and sat down." He leaned in to kiss her and she put her arms round his neck and tried to pull him in closer to her. He pulled back and said "I wouldn't start anything here babe. I'd rather wait til we were alone." Auds looked confused so Urs pointed to the other side of her bed. Auds turned round to see what he was pointing at and saw David asleep in another chair. She turned back in surprise and Urs said "He wanted to come, said you'd sounded really nervous on the phone about flying and he wanted to come and give you some extra support.

Auds couldn’t believe it, she shook her head slowly and said “How did I manage to find such wonderful friends? You lot mean so much to me, I don’t know what I would do without any of you.” She kissed Urs again and told him to lie beside her on the bed and they fell asleep in each others arms.
David woke up with a jump. He wondered why he was so stiff, then he remembered where he was and that he had just been sleeping in a chair. He looked towards the bed and smiled as he saw Urs and Auds sleeping together. They looked so peaceful and happy. He decided to go looking for a coffee and headed out the door. He smiled at the nurse behind the desk, it was the same one that had been there when they’d arrived. He stopped to ask her when Auds would be free to go. After he’d had his coffee, he headed back to the room. He found Urs awake and alone. “Hey” said Urs. “Hey, where’s Auds?” he asked. Urs pointed to the toilet door. “in the shower, I said I would find out how soon we can leave.” “I already asked the nurse that.” said David. “All she needs to do is wait for the doctor to do his rounds and sign her release form and then she can go.” Urs grinned, then he said “How do you think she’s going to cope at the airport?” David shook his head and said “I don’t know, we’ll just have to take it very slowly and keep reassuring her that she’s going to be okay.” Just then the toilet door opened and Auds appeared out carrying all her toiletries. She smiled when she saw David and walked up to him and gave him a big hug. “Thank you for coming with Urs, it means a lot to me that you care so much.” David hugged her back saying “Anything for you Auds, I knew how nervous you sounded and I thought you could do with some extra support.” Just then there was a knock on the door and the doctor walked in. He checked her over, gave her all the medication she needed with her, signed her release form and said “Okay, that’s you free to go now” and smiled at her. Then he left them alone again. Urs looked at Auds and said “So, you ready to get out of this place?” She nodded and shutting the zip on her bag said “Let’s go.” Urs and David carried her stuff while she picked up her walking stick and they left the hospital.

They got into the car that they guys had hired at the airport and headed back there. Auds was quiet, just sat staring out of the window, the excitement of seeing the guys and getting out of the hospital replaced by nervousness at the thought of where they were heading. David looked at Urs then said “Seb and Carlos said to tell you that they can’t wait to have you back. They reckon you’re the only one who can stop Urs and me from fighting all the time.” Auds smiled but never said anything. Pretty soon they arrived at the airport, Urs went and put the car back to the rental place and then they were stood outside the entrance to the airport itself. Auds looked scared, she just stood there staring at the building. Urs came up beside her and whispered something in her ear. She nodded at him and smiled as he took her hand and they walked through the doors together. They got through check in and made it into the departures lounge before Auds started slowing down. She sat down on a chair near her and said “I can’t do it, I can’t get on the plane.” Urs sat down beside her and put his arm round her. “Its alright babe, just take your time, we’re not leaving for another couple of hours yet.” Auds shook her head. “I’m sorry Urs, I can’t get on the plane.” Urs looked at David who knelt down in front of her and said “Auds, can you tell us exactly how you’re feeling?” She closed her eyes and she could hear the screams around her and see the look of fear on the air stewardess‘s faces. She opened her eyes and looked at the guys. David and Urs looked at each other, there was so much pain in her eyes. “I feel like my heart is going to burst inside my chest, its beating so fast and every step I take down through this room towards the gate we have to leave from is making me feel sick.” she said. “All I can hear is the screaming when we realised the plane was going down and all I can see is the look on the Stewards faces. Then I can’t see properly as the lights had gone out. I think I tried to open the shutter over the window to look out, but that’s when we must of landed as there was an awful bump and screeching coming from somewhere.” Tears started pouring down her face then and she brought her legs up and curled her arms round them hugging them to her chest. Urs tried to pull her into a hug, but she just pushed him away. He looked so upset that David said “Don’t worry, I have a feeling this is the first time that she’s said out loud what actually happened and its brought it all to the surface again. Maybe once she’s got the tears out of her system the fear may not be so bad.” Urs nodded, but he still wanted to just hold her and comfort her. It was breaking his heart to watch her like this and not be able to help her. Eventually she calmed down and she wiped her eyes and face with her hands. She took a deep breath and looked at Urs saying “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to push you away baby. I know you only wanted to help.” David stood up and said “I’ll be back in a minute.” then walked off. Urs had an idea then. “How about we go and sit over by the window babe? That way we can watch all the planes landing and taking off and you’ll see that nothing bad is going to happen.” Auds looked at him and saw the worry in his eyes and decided right then that she was going to get on this plane. She wasn’t going to let it beat her this easily. David came back just as she nodded and said “Okay.” He was carrying a glass. He handed it to Auds and said “I thought you could maybe use a little drink for courage.” he smiled at her as she took it and looked at it. “Its brandy.” he said. “Good for after shocks or if you need a boost.” Auds smiled at David and looking at both guys said “Thank you for being here, I wouldn’t have even got this far without you.” then she drank the brandy in one go.

They went and sat looking out the window for a while then their flight number got called and they had to start boarding. Auds took a few deep breaths to try and calm herself down and with Urs holding her hand walked towards the departure gate. David handed over their tickets and they made their way through. Urs could feel Auds grip on his hand getting tighter the nearer the plane they got. He squeezed it to tell her she was alright. She turned to smile at him then she let go of him. His smile disappeared as she stopped. She looked at both Urs and David and then handing her walking stick to Urs, walked past them and onto the plane. She found the seats they were in and sat down in the middle one. David and Urs appeared a few minutes later and she said "I'm sitting in the middle, I hope you don't mind?" David grinned at Urs and said "Well as long as i get the aisle seat, its fine with me." They sat down on either side of her and waited for the plane to start moving. Auds had put her seatbelt on and was trying not to let the panic rise through her again. She saw the doors being closed and felt a wave of nausea hit her. She grabbed at Urs who put his arm through hers and started to say something to her. She was okay then again until the plane started moving and started to rise into the air. Urs had one hand in his and David took the other one seeing that she was starting to get scared. He looked at Urs and said something to him. Then together they both started to sing softly, so only she could hear them. They kept this up until they were level again then they stopped. Auds leaned her head back and said “I can’t keep my eyes open.” Urs pulled her head onto his shoulder and said “Just close them then and have a sleep. Auds did as he said and was asleep in seconds. Urs looked at David and said "What did you put in the brandy?" David looked at him in surprise and said "How did you know i put something in it?" "Because there is no way she would have fallen asleep otherwise, she was way to nervous." he said. David smiled softly and said "I put a sleeping tablet in it. It should keep her sleeping until the flight is nearly over. Urs didn’t know what to say. He just looked at David and then down at Auds. "Thanks Dave, for everything. I owe you for helping me with her." he said. David shook his head "I would do anything for you, you know that, and Auds is part of our family as well now." They spent the rest of the flight in silence, Urs falling asleep and David trying to read a book.

Auds woke up just as the plane was getting ready to land. She lifted her head off Urs' shoulder and looked at him. He was still sleeping. She turned to look at David then who was also sleeping, his book having fallen on the floor. She reached down to pick it up for him when she felt the plane starting to go downwards. She felt the panic rising and she grabbed out and caught David's hand. He woke with a start and saw the look on Auds face. He put his arm round her and told her she was alright, that they were just landing. She shook her head and tried to get her seatbelt off saying "I have to get out of here." David put his hands over her seatbelt clip so that she couldn't open it and when she really started to panic he pulled her into his side and started to sing gently to her, he could feel her relaxing into him a bit more and he took one hand away from the hold he had on her and he pushed her hair out of her face and wiped away the tears that had been forming. He reached over past Urs then and lifting the shutter over the window said "look, we're here, the plane has landed safely Auds." Auds glanced in the direction of the window and saw buildings and buses and the steps arriving for the plane door. She sat up then and looked properly. "We made it" she said quietly. "We didn't crash." She turned back to David and said "Oh god, i'm sorry, I don't know how you got me on here, but i'm sorry if i did anything to hurt or embarrass you." David smiled at her. "We didn't do anything, you did it all yourself, we were just here for support." Auds gave him a hug then and heard a voice behind her saying "Everytime i see you two, you're hugging. And i thought she was my girlfriend?" Auds turned to see Urs grinning behind her. "NOW you wake up" said David. "You sleep through the whole panic attack, but wake up to see us hugging." then he laughed.

They got off the plane then, Auds relieved to have made it safely but also proud of doing it. They went into the airport where they found Steve waiting for them. He greets Auds and then drives them back to the hotel where they are met by Seb and Carlos who have organised a small welcome back party for Auds. They all stayed there until it was time to go to the arena for their show that night. Urs asked Auds if she wanted to come or stay at the hotel and get some rest. Auds grinned. "Are you kidding? I haven't heard you sing in weeks, i'm coming with you." They went and did the show with Auds being made to watch it out front so that Urs could perform for her. After they got back to the hotel Urs said "Okay, i'm taking Auds up, its been a long day for her" they said goodnight and went up to his room. Once they were inside he said "alone at last." then he pulled her close and kissed her deeply. "God, i've wanted to do that all day." he said as he pulled his head back. Auds smiled and said "Don't stop then, i'm not complaining." He looked down at her and said "How's your leg?" "Its okay." she replied. Urs grinned "In that case, come here" and he scooped her up and took her over to the bed. He laid her down and slowly removed all her clothes. She moaned as he kissed her from head to toe then showed her just how much he had missed her.



*2 Weeks Later*

Auds had started working again and things had gone back to normal. They were about to go to America for the next leg of the tour, but they had five days off before it started. David was flying home to spend the time with his family and his girlfriend Janice, he was so excited about seeing her again. Carlos was heading for London to see Michelle, they'd become good friends and he was hoping to try and make it more than that. Seb was flying home to Paris to be with Sonia. Auds and Urs hadn't decided what they were doing yet. Although she had been on a plane again since she had been back, she still wasn't too happy on them. "Why don't we just fly to America, the first stop on the tour and just stay there? "Urs suggested. "That way you only have to get on one plane for a while." Auds smiled at him and said "You don't have to do that for me. If you want to go somewhere else, tell me." Urs thought for a minute then said "I would love to take you home, show you Switzerland. Its lovely at this time of year, although it will be cold." Auds looked at his face, it had all lit up as he'd been talking. She said "That sounds wonderful, I'd love to see where you grew up." She laughed then.

Urs looked at her and said "What?" Auds grinned and said "I just had this image of us not seeing much of Switzerland if its going to be cold, as i can think of so many ways of keeping us warm." Urs smiled and said "Would you like to show me one of them?" Pulling her down onto his knee and kissing her. Auds' eyes twinkled as she felt one of his hands going under her shirt and caressing her back. The other one was trying to open the buttons on the shirt. She leaned forward and bringing his hands back for a minute pulled his t-shirt over his head and threw it onto the floor. Her shirt soon followed it and she started to run her hands over his chest and down to the top of his jeans. She opened the belt and pulled it off then opened the button. Urs caught hold of her hands and put them round his neck and kissed her, the kiss deepening as neither of them wanted to break it. Just then there was a knock on the door and David walked in saying "Hey you two, I just wanted to say good....." he trailed off as Auds jumped off Urs' knee and grabbing her shirt put it on and wrapped it round her. Urs looked embarrassed and said "David, your timing really sucks, you know that." David tried not to laugh and said "I'm sorry, i did knock, but you obviously didn't hear me. I'm just about to leave and came to say goodbye." Auds turned to face him, having turned her back to tie her shirt buttons. She ran a hand through her hair and kissed him on the cheek before saying "Have fun at home, will we be getting to meet Janice at all?" David smiled at the mention of her name and said "Yeah, she is going to travel with me for most of the American leg." Urs grinned then said "That'll be two of us happy then." Auds looked at him and shook her head. "Don't be mean, it must be hard on Seb with Sonia stuck in Paris and Carlos with no-one at all." she said. Urs pulled her into a bearhug and said "You know i'm just having fun, now lets go and see David off and find the others. They left the room then, Urs having put his t-shirt back on first.

Carlos was sitting in the same cafe that him and Seb had first seen Michelle. He was waiting for her to arrive, they had spent most of the last two days together, Michelle doing the tourist guide thing and showing him all the sights of London. He was planning to ask her out for dinner tonight, but not just as friends, on an actual date. He was pretty nervous because he didn't want to ruin the friendship they had by moving too fast for her. He looked up and smiled as she entered the cafe and headed towards him.
She sat down and ordered a coffee. They talked for a while then Carlos said "Would you like to come for dinner with me tonight?" Michelle smiled at him and said "Of course, i'll meet you for dinner." Carlos said "I didn't mean just meeting for dinner, I was thinking of it as more like a date, where i book a table and pick you up." Michelle looked down at the table. "I'm sorry, if i'm moving too fast just tell me, i don't want to ruin what we already have." said Carlos. Michelle shook her head and said "Its alright, I would love to have dinner with you Carlos." He smiled and said "You just made me very happy. I shall pick you up at 8pm."

It was 7.30pm and Michelle was on the phone to Jane in a panic. "Why did i say yes to this? We were doing fine the way we were." she said. "Stop worrying Mich, you two have never been off the phone to each other since we came back from Paris, he flew here to see you instead of going home to his family on his few days off, you've spent nearly every minute he's been here so far with him. I think you are ready to move on a bit further." replied Jane. Michelle sighed. "Michelle, you like him yes? and he likes you, yes? So i say give it a go. Now, what are you wearing?" Michelle laughed. Jane always seemed to know what to say to get her to do things. "I'm wearing my knee length black dress with my black slingback sandals." she said. Even though she knew she couldn't see her Jane nodded her head in approval. "Very nice Mich, he'll love it." she said. Just then her doorbell rang "oh god, he's here, I have to go." Well, just enjoy yourself hun." said Jane. Michelle hung up and went to answer the door. Carlos stood on the other side wearing a suit and shirt, no tie, and the top couple of buttons open. He looked at her and said "Wow, you look really nice, red." Michelle blushed. He still sometimes called her the name he had called her back at the concert. She grabbed her bag and jacket and they left. Carlos had booked a table at a French restaurant. They spent the night talking and eating and drinking. Michelle couldn't get over how comfortable she felt around him. She had thought she would never feel safe around men again, or at least not for a long time anyway. The night was over before she knew it and they were standing on her doorstep. Carlos smiled at her and said "I had a really great time tonight." Michelle leaned against her door as she nodded her head and said "So did i, thank you Carlos." He looked at her then said "For what?" "For being there when i needed somebody, i never realised it at the time, but i wouldn't have got through the last five weeks without you to talk to." she said looking down at the ground. Carlos took a step closer to her and put his hand under her chin lifting it up so he could see her face. "It was my pleasure to talk to someone as wonderful as you red." then he leaned forward and ever so gently kissed her. He pulled back to see her face and saw that her eyes were shut. He kissed her again, this time harder as he felt her responding. They pulled apart and Carlos said "I should leave now, before i get too carried away." He gave her another kiss then walked away and got into his car. Michelle was glad she was leaning against the door as she would have fallen down if she wasn't. She touched her lips and wondered how she had gone through her life without ever being kissed like that before. She stayed there for another few minutes then let herself into her flat.

Seb turned over to look at Sonia who was lying beside him. It was late morning, but they were still in bed. Sonia looked so peaceful when she was sleeping that Seb never liked to waken her. He still at times found it hard to believe that someone as beautiful as her was his. He thought back to the day they'd met, it was pouring with rain and he had been running late for a meeting with his manager about his first solo album, she had come running out of a shop door and he had literally knocked her off her feet. He remembered feeling bad when she had tried to stand and couldn't as she had twisted her ankle. He had taken her to the local hospital and had waited with her whilst there, missing his meeting altogether. After she had got better, she had agreed to go out for dinner with him, as an apology from him, and they had been together ever since. They had been talking about their wedding and how they would like it to be since he had been home. He smiled at her as her eyes slowly opened and said "Good morning sleepyhead". She smiled back and said "I love waking up and seeing you beside me." "Me as well cherie." he said then kissed her. She started giggling as he begun to tickle her. She caught his hands and said "You know where that will lead if you carry on, we should get up and do something." Seb grinned and freeing his hands from hers said "We are doing something." and carried on tickling her leading to them not getting out of bed until much later.

David looked over at Janice who was trying to pack her stuff for going with him. He smiled at her as she looked towards him. He walked over and said "just remember that you will have to carry this everywhere, so don't make it too heavy." Janice placed a kiss on his lips and said "You mean there isn't going to be a handsome young man to carry it for me?" David grinned and said "Well, you never know, if you're lucky someone might take pity on you." He pulled her in and wrapped his arms round her so she couldn't move then said "I've missed this so much, these five days have gone by so fast." Janice stared up into his eyes ands said "I know, but its not over yet, we've still got the next three weeks together." David smiled and said "I still don't know how you managed to get all that time of work."
Janice smiled and said "I would do anything to spend time with you babe, if i could afford to i would just quit my job and travel with you all the time, but i can't. I just told my boss that i was taking all my holidays owed to me this year in one go." David kissed her then said "But will that not mean that you will have no breaks after this now until the new year starts?" Janice nodded "But I don't mind, it will be worth it to be with you for so long in one go instead of just the few days you get every few months" David stared at her and then pushed her gently backwards until she was lying on the bed. He pushed the bag she had been packing onto the floor and lay down beside her. He kissed her again then pushed the strap of her top to one side and kissed her neck and shoulder. He let his hands start wandering down to the bottom of her top and started to pull it up. She sat up for a minute so that he could remove it then lay back again. She found it was getting harder to breath easy as he worked his way down her body with kisses. After he had finished showing her how much he really loved her he told her "I love you so much Jan." he said using his pet name for her.

The five days had passed really quickly for all of the guys. They were all flying into Atlanta International Airport in Georgia around the same time so Steve had sent two cars to pick them all up. David and Janice arrived first and went for a coffee while they waited. Carlos arrived next followed closely by Seb. Urs and Auds had been delayed, so the others decided to just get into one of the cars and head for the hotel. David sent Urs a message telling him this, so that they would know to go straight to the hotel when they landed. They didn't have a show that night, but they always liked to be there the night before if possible. When they reached the hotel they all headed for their various rooms. Seb opened his door and walked in. He put his bags down and looked round the room, he looked at the bed and wondered how much longer he could actually do this. It was getting so much harder for him to leave Sonia behind while he was away. He missed her badly already, he suddenly smiled as he remembered their last night together.

He had cooked her dinner, a really romantic night with good music, candlelight and nice wine. They had eaten until they were full, they had danced in each others arms and then they had curled up together in front of the fire and that’s where they had made love to each other. They had woken up in each others arms that morning still beside the fire with a rug over them. He hadn't let her go to the airport with him, said he didn't want to have a long goodbye, but really he didn't want her to see him crying and he wouldn't have been able to wait until he was on the plane to start. He had had tears running down his face as he was getting into the taxi taking him there.

Auds and Urs finally landed, 2 hours later than they should have done. The plane they were on had discovered they had technical difficulties, but not until they were already in the air, and they had had to make an extra stop to fix it. Urs had seen Auds face change from the excited, happy to be going back to see the others again look to one of fear when it had been announced. He had put his arm around her and told her that she was alright and that nothing was going to happen, they just had to make an extra stop then they would be back on their way again. He'd been glad that they hadn't been told to get off the plane while it was being fixed as he didn't think Auds would have got back on it again. He sat there the whole time with her that they had been on the ground, talking about all the things they had seen in Switzerland over the last five days. They had gone on a Mountain Bike Tour through the mountains, gone up Mount Pilatis, visited Lake Lucerne and they had also gone home to see his family who had been delighted to see him and to meet the girl he kept telling them about. His mum had fallen in love with Auds from the moment she saw her!!

They were both relieved when the plane finally landed in Atlanta and they got off as soon as they could. As they waited for their luggage to appear Urs switched on his phone and received David’s message. He nodded to himself and then said "The others didn't wait for us, they headed for the hotel, but they left a car waiting for us." They got their bags and headed through the arrivals lounge to find their driver who was waiting for them and made their way to their hotel.

They arrived at the hotel to find the others in the bar. They went over to talk to them for a minute then said that they were off to check in, dump their bags and freshen up. They said they would be back down in half an hour to join them. Then they went and checked themselves in, both in a room each still, to keep up appearances, although they normally only used one of them! Urs went for a shower first while Auds took some fresh clothes out of her bag to change into. She lay down on the bed and shut her eyes for a minute. Urs came out of the bathroom 10 minutes later to find her sound asleep. He smiled at the sight of her and decided not to wake her. He took out his phone and called David to tell him they weren't coming back down and also explained about the plane and what had happened.
Auds woke up to find the room in darkness, she turned over and saw Urs lying beside her asleep. She got out of the bed to go to the toilet and discovered she was wearing her pyjamas. She had obviously fallen asleep and Urs had changed her into them without her realising. She came back from the toilet and climbed back into the bed, pulled the cover over her and cuddled into the back of Urs putting one arm over him and went back to sleep.

Downstairs in the bar the other guys were still up and were now all rather drunk. Well, Seb and Carlos were, David hadn't drunk quite as much as they had. He looked at them both and said "So, what is up with you two? I haven't seen either of you this bad for ages." He turned to Janice and said "They're not normally like this, they usually only drink lots when something is bothering them." "I am not drunk and i am not both.. bothe... bothered by anything at all." said Seb slurring his words. He tried to stand up and fell down again missing the chair and landing on the floor. David and Carlos burst out laughing then Carlos stood up and said "I think that maybe i should take him up to his room." then he put out his hand to help Seb up off the floor and ended up joining him down there. David rolled his eyes at Janice and said "Do you just wanna go up to the room hun and i'll deal with these two." Janice grinned and taking the key off him kissed him and said "don't be too long then" and winked at him before walking away.
David watched her walking away before he turned his attention to Seb and Carlos. He helped Carlos up who didn't seem quite as bad as Seb, at least he could stand and walk by himself. Then he reached down and practically had to put his arms under Seb’s shoulders and drag him off the floor. He got him upright and told Carlos to go get the lift and he made his way very slowly to the lift. Once inside he leaned Seb against the wall and said to Carlos "I'm worried about him, he's not telling us something. I mean, how many times have we seen him this bad since we have been together?" Carlos shook his head and said "I don't think we have, but if he wants to talk then he knows where we all are, we can't force him to talk to us." David frowned and said "You're right, i suppose we'll just have to leave him be." Just then the lift doors opened and he dragged Seb up again and got him to his room, he put him down on the bed and put a blanket over him then putting the key down on the table went out and shut the door behind him. He went to check on Carlos who was just getting into his own bed, so he left him to it.

He went to his own room then and found Janice lying on the bed waiting for him. He went and sat down beside her and gave her a long lingering kiss. "mmm, what was that for?" she asked. David stared into her eyes and said "I'm so glad that you're here Jan, I have a feeling i might need you around." then he kissed her again and then pushing her gently backwards onto the bed made her glad that she was there as well.

Seb woke up the next day with one hell of a headache and found that he could hardly move without feeling sick. He managed to drag himself into the shower and just stood there letting the water run over him. He wondered how he had gotten back to his room last night and also why he had let himself drink so much, he wasn't normally one for drinking an awful lot. He got dressed and made his way down to find the others. He walked into the restaurant and saw David, Carlos and Janice sitting at a table. He got himself a strong cup of coffee and went to join them. They looked at him in shock as he sat down. "God, you look terrible man." said Carlos who was looking remarkably fresh for the amount he had drunk. Seb looked at him and said "I feel a lot worse than i look, my head is about to explode." Just then Urs and Auds appeared and Auds ran over to them and started greeting them excitedly. She hugged Carlos and David before she realised that Seb was holding his head in his hands and muttering away in French. She sat down in the chair beside him and said "Seb, are you okay?" He looked at her and said "Its good to see you Auds, but can you please keep the noise down?" She looked at Carlos and David who were trying not to laugh and Carlos said "He had rather a lot to drink last night and now he's feeling a bit um, how do you say, fragile." Auds grinned and said "Sorry Seb, i'll keep it quiet." Urs appeared then with two plates of food, he put one down in front of Auds and sat down with the other one. Seb took one look and said "I'm going to be sick" and got up and walked away. Urs looked at the others who just laughed. "Auds, Urs" said David. "This is Janice." Auds smiled at Janice and said "Hey hun, its nice to finally put a face to the lady that David keeps going on about." Urs nodded in agreement then said "Welcome to the madness hun." Auds said then "I'm sorry about last night, you must have thought we were so rude. I must have been more tired than i thought." Carlos grinned and said "Did you not get that much sleep in Switzerland then?" Auds blushed as the others laughed. They finished off their breakfast then decided what they were going to do until they had to leave for their sound check.

Auds had left the others in the hotel foyer waiting for her whilst she went up to check on Seb. She found him back in his bed. he had opened the door for her and then crawled back under the covers. She sat down beside him and said "Seb, what’s wrong? Did something happen when you were off?" Seb groaned and mumbled something that she didn't quite catch. "I didn't hear that babe, can you speak up slightly." He lifted his head off the pillow slowly and said "I'm fine, just had too much to drink last night, that’s all." Auds didn't look convinced and said "Well, you know where to find me if you want to talk, we'll meet you later for the sound check." Seb groaned again. Auds didn't want to leave him, she had a feeling there was more behind this than he was letting on, but there was no point in sitting around if he was going to sleep for the rest of the afternoon. She stood up and went to put a glass of water by his bed for him, then she left him alone and went back to the others. They had decided while she was away that they were going to go do some sightseeing. But she couldn't take her mind of Seb and was determined to get him to talk to her somehow.

It was 7.30pm and they had done their sound check, it wasn't one of their best with loads of things going wrong, but that’s what the sound check was for, sorting out these little problems before the actual concert. Seb, wearing sunglasses to cover his eyes, felt better than he had been, but he was still looking awfully pale and make up were going to have to work hard to cover it up. They were just getting their show clothes on ready. Auds and Janice were going to be out front tonight watching their men. They had quickly realised that they had a lot in common and had become friends. They guys did the show, as wonderfully as they always did. Seb performed as if he hadn't just spent the day in bed with a massive hangover, they were all amazed at how he had pulled it off. Then it was over and they were back in the changing rooms waiting for the guys to get ready. As always Auds and Janice went out first and they waited in the car for the guys. "It stops the fans from thinking that we're one of the guys possible girlfriends." explained Auds. "Plus, i know that Simon Cowell doesn't want me and Urs to become public knowledge, so we have to be professional only with each other when we're working." Janice nodded in agreement. "I have spent some time on their forum and the fans like to think of them all as single guys that they may one day have a chance with. I've often wondered what they would say if they knew that most days they were actually talking to David's girlfriend!! But, i just keep quiet and pretend i'm just like one of them." Auds smiled. "I would keep that quiet!!" she agreed. They guys appeared then and they were off back to the hotel.

As they were walking into the hotel Seb came up beside Auds and said "Can i talk to you Auds, alone? I really need to get something off my mind." Auds looked at him with a worried look on her face and said "Sure Seb, just let me tell Urs where i'm going and i'll be right with you." He nodded and said "Thanks Auds, i'm going to go up to my room, i'll meet you there." Auds nodded and watched him walk towards the lifts. His shoulders were rounded and he was looking at the floor as he walked. She wondered what he was going to tell her. She went to find Urs and told him that she was just going to speak to Seb and that she would be back later. He kissed her and said "Okay babe." Auds walked off then and headed for Seb’s room hoping that he wasn't going to tell her something she didn't want to hear.

Auds knocked on Seb's door and heard him shout at her to come in. She went in and found him sitting on the sofa with a drink in his hand. She looked at him then sitting down beside him said "Seb, do you think you should be drinking? you still look ill from last night." He looked at the glass in his hand and said "But, i need it, its the only way i can block it out." Auds was worried and said "Block what out? Seb, what’s wrong, and don't say nothing because i know that something is." Seb finished the drink and put the glass down. He turned to face Auds and she could see tears forming in his eyes. "It blocks out the pain Auds, I can't cope with the pain anymore." Auds didn't understand what he was talking about, but she could tell that it was hard for him to actually say it, so she just let him carry on in his own time. "I love this job, you know i do, and i really thought that i would want to do it forever, but i can't Auds, i'm not happy being here anymore." Auds stared at him. She hadn't a clue what to say, but made herself speak anyway. "Seb, are you telling me that you want to quit IL Divo?" she asked. He stood up and went to pour himself another drink, but Auds got up and stopped him. She took him back to the sofa and asked again "Do you want to leave IL Divo?" Seb looked down at the floor and shook his head then said "No, i don't want to leave the group and the guys behind, but i can't think of any other way round it." he looked up at Auds and she saw that he had tears running down his face. Auds was confused. "If you don't want to leave the band, then what are you saying?" He looked at her then said "I love being in the group, I love singing and being with the guys, but i just can't cope with the travelling, the time away from my family and Sonia. I have been finding it harder to leave her behind each time i see her. I was in tears yesterday in the taxi on the way to the airport." Auds still didn't know what to say so she put her arms round him and gave him a hug. He pulled away from her and said "I asked her to marry me, how can i marry her, yet never be there to see her?"

He stood up and went to look out the window.

Auds stared at him, she had quickly realised that out of the four of them Seb was the sensitive one, the one who let things get to him and eat away. She knew how much of a dilemma he was in right now, he had to choose between the two things in his life that he loved almost as much as the other and that’s why he had talked to her. It was like he was hoping that she would make his mind up for him. She sighed and tried to think of a way around this. She knew she was lucky, she could travel with Urs as she worked for them. But for the others, well they only got to see their girlfriends either on time off or when they were in the same part of the country for a few days. She looked at Seb again who had moved over to get another drink, this time she let him. He came back and sat down beside her again and said "I'm sorry Auds, I didn't mean to dump this all on you, i just needed to tell somebody, to get it out in the open. I thought it might make me feel better if i told someone." Auds smiled at him then said "Hey, don't ever worry about dumping things on me, okay? I'm here anytime you want to talk and that goes for the other guys as well. I'll have a think and see what i can come up with. Maybe i'll have a talk with Simon about lessening your load for a while, giving you all some more time off." She looked around the room and said "Is there no way Sonia could come travel with you for a while? what does she work as, would they give her the time off?" Seb shook his head and said "I already thought of that, she wouldn’t want to leave her job behind. She works with sick kids and they are all really special to her, she thinks of them all as her own." Auds smiled ""I understand that, I have a friend who works in a school and she just adores all the kids she works with. Okay, so leave it with me and i'll think about it." Seb smiles at her then gives her a hug. "Thanks Auds, i really appreciate you helping me and i just hope that whatever happens, the other guys will forgive me for everything." Auds smiled and said "I'm sure they will Seb, now come downstairs with me and join us, don't sit up here alone, i don't like to think of you up here drinking by yourself." Seb nodded his head and said "Okay, just let me have a shower first and clean up and i'll be right down." Auds looked at him and he said "I promise" Auds smiled and stood up "Okay then, but i will come back for you if you don't turn up." and she walked out of his room.

*Chapter 16*

*A Week Later*

Auds still didn't know what to do about Seb. She had tried talking to Simon, but he never seemed to be available. Seb was getting more withdrawn with every day that passed, except for when he was working, he pulled out his usual French charm then. The other guys knew something was wrong, but he wouldn't tell them what it was or let Auds tell them. It was making things with Urs difficult as well for Auds as he was getting mad at her for not telling him anything. She was sitting in their room after he had just stormed off after yet another attempt of getting it out of her had failed. She sighed and picked up her phone to try and call Simon again when it suddenly started ringing. She jumped at the noise of it. She answered it with a "Hello." "Auds, you've been trying to phone me" said Simon's voice on the other end. "I'm really sorry its taken me so long to get back to you, i've been run off my feet here. What can i do for you?" Auds went to speak then stopped, she suddenly didn't know what to say. "Auds, are you there, is everything okay?" Auds sighed and said "No, we have a big problem Simon." She paused for a minute then said "Sebastien is thinking about leaving the group. He's not happy anymore. He's still giving it 100% in his appearances and at the shows, but when its just us lot around, hes so withdrawn and quiet and won't talk to anyone. He did talk to me last week, but he hasn't said anything to the other guys and won't let me tell them either." "What’s brought all this on? Did he tell you why he's not happy?" she heard Simon sigh then he said "God, this couldn't have happened at a worse time." Auds heart sank, that meant he probably wouldn't agree to lessening their workload for a while.

"He said that he still loves being part of the group and singing with the guys, but he is fed up off all the constant travelling and never seeing his family and his girlfriend. I don't know if you know this, but when we were in Paris seven weeks ago, he asked Sonia to marry him and she said yes. He doesn't want to marry her then never see her." said Auds quietly. "I don't know what to do, so i thought that maybe you could reduce their work a bit, let them have more time to spend with their families? Its not just Seb, they're all feeling it." There was silence on the other end of the phone and Auds was worried that she had spoken out of turn. Then Simon said "No, i didn't know that Seb had got engaged. I wish that i could take some of their work off them Auds, but you know their workload better than i do. There's not one of those appearances that we could actually cancel without causing problems." Auds nodded her head in agreement and said "I know, but there has to be something we can do. I asked him if Sonia could come travel with us for a while, but he said that she wouldn't be able to get the time of as she works with sick kids and she's the only one they rely on to be there." She heard Simon speak to somebody on his side then he said "Sorry, so, there is no way that Sonia can travel with you. Does she know about any of this, has Seb told her how he feels?" Auds thought for a moment then said "Probably not, cos he said that he hadn't wanted her to go to the airport with him last week as he didn't want a big goodbye, but it was really because he knew he wouldn't have made it to the airport without crying and he didn't want her to see him like that." "Okay, so maybe you can phone her and explain it all to her and then maybe she can get some time off and meet up with you guys." suggested Simon. "I think it would be better if i went and saw her in person. If i could make her understand that Seb is planning on giving up his dream because of her, she might see things differently. I know that worked with me and Urs. When i thought i might have lost him, i realised that he meant more to me than my job. It might work the other way with her as she knows how much this means to Seb" Simon agreed "But, how are you going to get to Paris and back without the guys asking questions?" he said. "I don't know, I can tell them that you asked me to come back to the offices for a meeting, but Urs doesn't like me flying without one of them around and to be honest, i haven't flown by myself since.." she stopped. She took a deep breath and carried on "I'll work something out Simon and i'll let you know what i decide on. Thanks for the advice and i'll talk to you soon." then she hung up.

Urs walked back into the room then and looked at her and said "I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to get angry at you, its just getting to me that something’s wrong with Seb and neither he nor you will tell me so that i can help him." Auds got up and walked over to him and gave him a kiss then said "I wish i could tell you hun, but i promised him i wouldn't and as long as he is talking to one of us, he's not bottling it up totally, if i tell you, he may stop talking to me as well and then he'll just get worse." Urs sighed and putting his arms round Auds waist said "You're right i suppose." Auds looked down at the floor then and said "Um, I was just speaking to Simon and he was saying that he could do with me flying into London for a meeting with him. He would come here, but he can't get away at the moment." She looked up and saw the look on Urs face and said "I know, i told him i couldn't, but he was pretty insistent that i be there." Urs shook his head "You can't fly to London by yourself, and none of us can come with you just now. I don't want you flying by yourself." he pulled her tight into him and said "The last time i let you go to London, i nearly lost you." Auds pulled herself away from his hold and said "I know, and i still have problems with planes, but this will be another step forward for me, to fly by myself and it might just help me beat the fear altogether." Urs shook his head and looked at her "You've already said you would go, haven't you?" Auds nodded and said "He's my boss Urs, he pays my wages and allows me to travel with you and the guys. I couldn't say no." He looked at her and she could see that his eyes had darkened. He went to say something then stopped himself and just turned and walked back out of the room without speaking. Auds hated herself for having just lied to him, but she hoped he would understand when he realised why she had done it.

Auds went to see if she could find Steve, she was going to need his help to pull this off. When she found him she sat down with him and told him that she was having to go to Paris for a few days. She didn't say why, but did tell him that he couldn't tell the guys as she was going to tell them that she was going to London to meet with Simon. He looked confused and said "Auds, what are you up to and why can't the guys be told. You know they're not going to be happy about you going somewhere without them." Auds nodded "I already know Urs reaction, he wasn't happy and he just walked away from me without saying a thing, but i could see the anger in his eyes." she sighed. "I hated having to lie to him, but if what i'm going to do works, then hopefully he'll understand why i did it." she said. Steve looked at her and said "And if it doesn't work?" Auds shook her head and said "Right now, i don't even want to think about it." She looked at her watch and said "Would you be able to get me a seat on the next flight to Paris and drive me to the airport please? I need to go see Seb and the others and tell them i'll be away for a few days." Steve nodded and taking out his phone said "I'll let you know the details. Oh, and good luck telling the guys." Auds smiled at him and said "Thanks."

Auds set off to Seb's room, she knew he would be there, he never came out of it until he had to these days. She knocked on the door and when he didn't answer she said "Seb, its Auds." She heard him moving then and the door opened. He looked terrible, he hadn't bothered to shave yet and he looked like he hadn't eaten either. "Seb, you have to stop this, I know you're not happy, but you're not helping yourself by shutting yourself away from the others. They are all worried about you and want to help you." Seb looked away from her and she sighed. "I'm sorry, talk to me some more, tell me all about Sonia, where she works and how she started in the job. i never really got a chance to talk much properly with her when we were in Paris." Seb smiled then and started telling her all about Sonia and her work and how she had discovered she wanted to do that." She listened to him talk for ages then her phone rang. She answered it and spoke for a minute then thanked the person and hung up. She turned back to Seb and said "Sorry, I actually need to talk to you and the guys about something, can you come with me to find them so i can tell you all together?" Seb said "Can you not just tell me and then go tell the guys?" Auds shook her head "No, i think it would be better to tell you all at the same time. I actually told Urs already, but i still want to tell you all." He nodded then and said "Lets go then." She walked to the door and they walked out the room and went to see if they were in David's room. She knocked, but nobody answered so they tried Carlos's room, again no answer. She wondered where they all were. She took out her phone and called David. He answered with a "hey" "David, its Auds, where are you? Seb and I are trying to find you all. I have something to talk to you all about." she said. There was silence and she said again "David, where are you?" She could hear muffled talking and then David said "We're in your room with Urs." Auds sighed and said "Okay, don't go anywhere, we'll be there in a minute." and shut her phone. Something funny was going on and she didn't like the feel of it.

They walked to her room and she opened the door to find Urs sitting on the couch with a bandage on his right hand and David and Carlos trying to talk to him. She went straight to him and said "Urs baby, what happened?" He looked at her and said "Why do you care, just tell them what you're doing." Auds stood up and walked away from him whilst the other three stared at Urs in shock. She turned to face them and said "I have to leave for a couple of days, Simon wants me back in London for a meeting. I couldn't really say no. I'm booked onto a flight at 8pm tonight." She waited for the responses and was surprised when all she got was "Well, if the boss calls, you've got to go" from Carlos and "Will you be alright by yourself?" from David and "I understand Auds, I'll see you when you get back." from Seb. She looked at them in surprise and said "You mean you don't mind me leaving?" they all shook their heads and said "Why would we mind, its your job, you have to go away every now and again. But you'll always be back." said Carlos. "Yeah, we won't fall down without you here Auds" said David.
She went over to Urs then and said to him "I think you should listen to your friends Urs, they don't get mad at me when i do something they don't like." and then she walked into the bedroom and pulled out a bag to take with her.

A couple of hours later she was on her way to the airport with Steve. Urs had come in and apologised to her and said that his hand was bandaged because he had taken his anger out on a wall and had punched it. He had wanted to go with her, but thankfully they had a show that night and he couldn't because of the time she was leaving. She was glad they had made up, she hadn't wanted to leave him while he was still mad at her. Steve just dropped her off and went straight back to the arena telling Auds just to let him know when she was coming back. She could feel the nervousness that accompanied her when she had to fly starting to rise. She fought it away knowing that she was on her own and didn't have someone to calm her down if she started panicking. She checked in and got herself a coffee. Her flight got called and she found herself sitting in the plane, she wasn't sure how she had got there, but she was there and then they were off. When they landed in Paris, she hailed a taxi and headed straight for the hospital Seb had said Sonia worked in, if she wasn't there, they could at least tell her when she would be in and she would just wait.

*Chapter 17*

Auds arrived at the hospital and made her way inside, she looked at the signs to see where the Children’s Ward was, but they were all written in French so she took a guess at the word Enfant meaning Child or Children and headed in the direction of it. She came across what looked like a children's ward and went in. She walked up to the desk and suddenly realised that she didn't know Sonia's surname. The nurse behind it smiled at her and asked if she could help her. Auds smiled back and said "I'm not sure if i'm in the right place, but I’m looking for a lady who works in this hospital with sick children. I only know her first name, Sonia." The nurse smiled and pointed somewhere behind Auds. She turned round and saw Sonia sitting on a child’s bed talking to them. She turned back and said "Yes, that’s her." The nurse said "I'll tell her you're here, just have a seat." then left. Auds took a seat and looked around her. "Auds" she heard. She looked round and saw Sonia standing there, she stood up and hugged her. "Hey Sonia, sorry for just turning up, but I need to talk to you about something important." Sonia went pale and said "Seb, please god, nothings happened to him has it?" Auds looked around and said "I'd rather talk in private, do you have somewhere we can talk?" Sonia nodded and led her into an empty room shutting the door behind her. "Please Auds, tell me whats happened to Seb." she said. Auds shook her head and said "Seb's alright Sonia, physically anyway. None of the guys know i'm here, they think i'm in London at a meeting with Simon. But i needed to talk to you about Seb. When you talk to him on the phone, how does he sound?" Sonia looked confused and said "He sounds fine, the way he always is, happy and making jokes and flirting." she blushed then. "Wait, you said he was fine physically, Auds, what did you mean?"

Auds sighed and ran a hand through her hair then said "He would kill me if he knew i was here. He came to me last week, the day after we had all arrived in America and asked to talk to me. He told me that he wasn't happy anymore, being part of IL Divo." she stopped when she saw the look on Sonia's face. "But, he loves it all, the singing, the fans, the other guys, he could never hate that." she said. "Its what he lives for." she added. Auds shook her head. "Not anymore, he's withdrawn himself so far away from everything and everyone, and he's so quiet, he only comes out of his hotel room when he has to for work, he won't talk to the guys and they don't know what’s going on and its affecting them as well, especially Urs, because i know and won't tell him." She looked down at the floor then. Sonia sat down on the bed behind her and tried to take all that in. "Has he said why he's not happy? she asked. Auds nodded and looking at Sonia said "Its you. He loves you so much that he can't cope anymore with all the travelling and time away from you. He wouldn't let you go to the airport with him last week because he didn't want you to see him crying. He had started before he had even got in the taxi at your place." She saw the same look in Sonia's eyes then that she saw in Seb’s eyes daily and she said "He's ready to give up his whole career and walk out on the guys to be with you all the time." Sonia let the tears start falling and said "He can't do that, singing is his life, IL Divo is his life, its his dream job, he's told me that so many times."

Auds looked out the window of the room and saw the children in the ward. this would be the hard part. She turned to look at Sonia and said "How would you feel about taking some time off and coming to travel with us for a while? It would mean so much to Seb and if i'm being honest, other than him walking out, its the only thing that will make him happy again." Sonia got off the bed and joined Auds at the window and looking through it said "There has only ever been two things in my life that i have loved as much as the other. That’s been Seb and this place. I know what you're really asking Auds, you don't want me to just take time off, do you?" Auds looked at her and said "No, but i also know that its a big decision to come to, I made it when I thought i was going to lose Urs and the one thing that i had loved even more than him had been my job, but you know all this because you were there when it all happened." Sonia nodded then said "This isn't something I can just say yes to without a lot of thinking about." "I understand that, i'm going to be here for a couple of days, but i shall leave you alone and let you come to the decision by yourself." Sonia smiled gratefully and said "Where are you staying? " Auds laughed and said "Nowhere yet, i only booked the flight itself a few hours ago. I'll just go and find the nearest hotel and book in there. I'll give you my mobile number and you can let me know when you've made your decision."
Sonia shook her head and said "You can stay with me, i have a spare room, but you'll practically have the place to yourself as i'm usually always here anyway." she scribbled her address down on a bit of paper and handed her the keys then said "Get yourself a taxi there and i'll see you later, i have to finish my shift. And i'm not going to let you say no." when she saw Auds about to protest." Auds smiled and said Thank you Sonia." and hugged her. She went to leave when Sonia said "Oh, if the phone rings, don't answer it, it might be Seb and he'll be wondering why you're answering my phone." Auds grinned and said "Okay."

Sonia arrived back at her house a couple of hours later and walked in and shouted out "Auds" She walked into the lounge to find Auds on her phone. She put a hand to her mouth then mouthed sorry to her. Auds shook her head and then said "Urs, i have to go...No, i don't know when i will be back...another couple of days...you phone Simon and tell him that then...Oh don't be such a..."she stopped and took a deep breath then said "Goodbye Urs." and hung up. Sonia looked at her and said "That didn't sound too good, are you and Urs having problems?" Auds sighed and said "He's just reacting badly to the fact that i won't tell him whats wrong with Seb. He gets mad then he apologises, then gets mad again and apologises. He punched a wall when i told him i was going to London." She rubbed her forehead and said "To be honest, he's acting like a child and i have more important things to worry about at the moment." Sonia looked at her and said "Seb?" Auds nodded. "But aren't you worried that he will go and ask Simon whatever it is he said?" Auds laughed and said "He would never dare say what he just said to Simon, besides, Simon is in on this, he knows i'm here!!" She smiled at Sonia then and said "Let's not talk about the guys just now, how did the rest of your shift go?" "How about I make us some dinner and we can talk after?" said Sonia.

*A couple of hours later*

The girls had eaten dinner and were on their second bottle of red wine and were quite merry. They had talked about everything except their respective men. Sonia's phone rang then and she picked it up, still laughing at something Auds had just said. "Hello." she said. "Hey baby," she heard from the voice on the other side. A big grin came over her face and she said "Sebby, how are you my darling?" then she said "Yeah, i've had a drink, i'm at home with A..." Auds shook her head quickly and put a finger over her lips. "Adrianna from work." Sonia signalled to Auds to be silent and switched the phone to speakerphone so she could hear Seb as well. Auds was amazed at the difference in him, he sounded just like he had before all this started. When Sonia hung up she looked at Auds and said "He sounded fine to me." Auds shook her head and said "I'm not lying to you Sonia, he's just trying not to let you know how he's feeling." Sonia looked at Auds and said "I know you're not, you wouldn't be here if you were. I just don't think i'll actually believe it if i don't see or hear it for myself." Auds thought for a moment then pulled out her phone and said "we'll just do the same thing again, but i don't have speakerphone, so you'll have to listen into the earpiece." Sonia agreed and Auds dialled Seb's number and waited for him to pick up. When he did she said "Hey Seb, its Auds, I'm just checking to se how you are?" "I'm fine Auds." "Seb, you don't need to put on your act with me, how are you really feeling?" They heard him sigh then his voice changed and he said "Its getting harder to pretend i'm happy when i'm not, I don't know how much longer i can do it." Auds looked over at Sonia who had a hand over her mouth to stop herself from saying anything. "Seb, please go and talk to the guys about this or Steve, don't keep it bottled up anymore." "I'm not telling anyone else Auds, I'm coping with it in my own way." Auds frowned and said "Please tell me you're not still drinking?" She could see Sonia's eyes widen as he said "I can't get through the day without it, it blocks all the pain out." Sonia stood up and walked away. "Listen Seb, i've got to go, but don't do anything til i get back, i'll be back soon." then she hung up. She went to find Sonia who was in her bedroom looking at a photo of her and Seb. She turned as she heard Auds in the doorway and said "This was taken just after he had gotten into the group, i thought he would be like that forever." Auds sat down beside her and said "So did he, but i think his love for you overtook his love for the group." Sonia put the picture down and said "I'm going to go to bed now Auds, I have to think about this." Auds nodded and said "Sure, I'll see you in the morning then." and left her alone.

Auds woke up the next day to find herself alone. There was a note on the kitchen table with her name on it, so she picked it up and read it.

Auds,
Just popped into work for something, won't be long. Help yourself to breakfast. Sonia xx

She put it back down and went for a shower. She had just sat down with a coffee when Sonia arrived back. She sat down beside her and said "I could do with one of them." then she looked at Auds and said "What does it feel like?" Auds stared at her and said "What does what feel like?" "Living out of a suitcase, in hotel rooms, never being in one place for too long?" said Sonia. Auds thought about it for a minute then said "I don't really know, you just kind of get used to it as it becomes part of your daily routine." Sonia nodded and said "So, it won't take me too long to settle in then?" Auds shook her head and said "No, i would say you would be..." then stopped as she realised what Sonia had just said. "You mean you're going to come back with me?" she asked. Sonia grinned and said "Yeah, hearing how bad he sounded last night made me realise how much i miss being with him all the time as well, I think its probably why i spent so much time at the hospital." Auds couldn't keep the smile of her face. She said "Is that why you went there? How did they take it?" "I'm not sure they understood why i'm doing it, but they accepted my decision and am letting me go straight away." She said. She looked at Auds then and said "You'll have to help me decide what to take with me, how much do you have?" Auds grinned and said "I have 1 bag and 1 case, but Urs usually carries the bag for me" Sonia laughed. "I also phoned and got us two seats back to America." Auds smiled and said "At last i can tell Urs the truth and make him see what an idiot he has been!!" Sonia nodded and then she went to start packing her stuff.

*Chapter 18*

David was talking to Urs and Carlos at the sound check for the show that night. Seb was there, but keeping to himself like he had been since they had been back. "Have you heard from Auds today Urs, is she coming back soon?" asked David. Urs stared at him and said "I talked to her last night and she didn't know when she was coming back. Why are you so interested anyway, she's my girlfriend, not yours.” David and Carlos both stared at him and David went to speak when Carlos said "Don’t, we have enough problems with Sebastien without you two falling out as well. Urs, there was no need to speak like that, say you're sorry." Urs looked down at the ground then lifting his head said "I'm sorry, I really don't know what’s wrong with me, i kept blowing up at Auds as well before she left." Janice came up behind them then and said "Steve is looking for you guys, needs to talk to you about tonight’s show." then she kissed David and said something in his ear. He grinned and nodded his head then kissed her back. They went off to find Steve who was on the stage, he told them what he had to then they were free to go until the performance. They did the show later and although it looked to the crowd that Seb was just his usual self, the guys could tell that he wasn't right, he was just slightly off form. They tried talking to him on the way back to the hotel, but he just kept saying he was just tired and went straight to his room when they got back. The others didn't stay up either and just went straight to their rooms too.

Auds and Sonia landed around lunchtime the next day and found Steve waiting for them. He seemed surprised to see Sonia. "Hey Sonia, this is a nice surprise, are you going to be staying long?" Sonia looked at Auds who said "Its only Simon who knew the whole story." Then she said to Steve "Sonia is going to be travelling with us all the time now, she's given up her job to be with Seb. That’s what’s been wrong with him." Steve looked confused so Auds said "I'll tell you all about it in the car, but right now i just want to get Sonia to Seb." They set off then and are soon back at the hotel, the girls thank Steve then head off, going straight to Seb's room. Auds knocked on his door while Sonia stayed back out of sight. He opens the door and smiles when he see's Auds standing there. He hugs her and say's "Auds, you're back, when did you get here?" Auds looked at him taking in the unshaven face and dark rings round the eyes and said "I just got here and came to check on you and to give you your present." He looked puzzled and said "You bought me a present?" Auds smiled and said "I thought you could do with this." She looked to her side and motioned for Sonia to come forward. Auds moved to the side so that she could stand in front of him. When he saw her his eyes grew large and he said "Sonia." He seemed to be frozen to the spot until she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly. He pulled away and looked at her then at Auds and said "How?" Auds smiled at him and said "I went to Paris to tell Sonia how bad you were, please don't kill me Seb, but she had to know. I never went to London at all." Seb smiled at Auds then said "Thank you Auds." Auds smiled back and said "You haven't heard the best yet, i'll let Sonia tell you that." then grinned and left them to it.

She went to her and Urs room and discovered she couldn't get in, she knocked on the door so Urs could let her in, but he never answered. She wondered if he was off having lunch with the others, so went down to the dining room to check if they were there, but they weren't. She went into the bar and ordered a drink then sent Urs a message asking what he was doing. She got a reply straight away saying that he was out with David, Carlos and Janice. They had hired a car to try and get Seb out but he wouldn't go, so had just gone without him. Auds smiled to herself and then sent one back saying ‘Okay, enjoy yourself and i'll see you when you get back‘. Seconds later her phone rang and she grinned. She answered it with a "Hello." Then she heard Urs say "Are you back at the hotel?" "Yeah, i'm in the bar as i couldn't get into the room. I brought Sonia back with me as well." She could hear silence as he was obviously trying to figure out how she could have brought Sonia back from London. She said "I'll tell you all about it when i see you, but i did it for Seb, I think you'll find that he'll be back to normal soon." "Okay, we're just coming back, i'll see you in about an hour." he said then added. "I missed you Auds." Auds smiled and said "Yeah, me too hun." then hung up. She took out her laptop and started to see what the guys had on for the rest of the week then she sent a quick email to Simon telling how she had got on and that things should be okay with Seb now. Then she decided to check out the guys forum, she hadn't been on it for a while and it would be interesting to see how the fans were thinking of the tour so far. She was still on there, answering pm's from girls she used to talk to wondering where she had gone, reading some of the fan fictions and talking in the Den, wondering what the girls would think if she told them where she was and that she was going out with the guy they were all drooling over, when the guys appeared in the bar. She didn't see them come in so she jumped when Urs wrapped his arms round her from behind. She turned round and smiled at them all then kissed Urs. They all sat down beside her and Auds shut down her computer then told them all about Seb and how she had gone to get Sonia instead of going to London.

She turned to Urs and said "I'm sorry that i lied to you, to you all, but Seb didn't want me to tell you anything and i respected his wishes. I spoke to Simon to get advice, but Seb knew i was going to do that. He suggested telling Sonia and i just made the decision to go to talk to her in person." She looked at Urs who had gone really quiet and said "Are you okay babe?" He looked at her and said "All this time, i was being so horrible to you and you were only helping out one of my friends. I'm really sorry Auds, i think i was just jealous of all the time you were spending with him and when you wouldn't tell me anything it made me mad." he turned to David and said "I'm sorry Dave, i took it out on you as well and you didn't deserve that." David shook his head and said "Don't worry about it, i knew you didn't really mean what you were saying." Urs smiled at him and said "Thanks Mate." He turned back to Auds who said "You're right, you were horrible to me and i put up with it to begin with, but after a while I'd had enough and was actually glad to go to Paris and get away from you. It had got to the point where i hadn't wanted to tell you anything because you got mad about it. You were acting like a child and i didn't like it." She stood up and taking their room key off him walked off leaving her bags behind. Urs stared after her and then he got up and followed her. Carlos grinned and said "I think he's going to have to do something special to make it up to her." David and Janice agreed. "Well, it looks like we have an afternoon to waste, any ideas?" said Carlos. David looked at Janice who grinned and whispered something in his ear. He grinned back and said "Sorry man, got to go, see you later." and him and Janice got up and headed for their room. Carlos sighed, he looked at all the bags Auds had left lying and picking them all up he headed for his room as well.

Back in Seb's room he was still trying to understand how Sonia was here with him. "You can't be mad at Auds for telling me Seb, she was only looking out for you and i'm glad she did, because if she hadn't i wouldn't have realised that i missed you almost as much." Seb put his arms round her and said "I'm not mad at Auds, but i can't believe you gave up your whole career for me, you love working at the hospital with the kids." Sonia nodded and said "Yes, I did, but like i said to Auds, when i heard how bad you sounded on the phone last night, i realised that i loved you so much more and that i only want to be with you." Seb grinned and said "I can't believe that you're really here and not going to be leaving me again." then he kissed her and said "mmm, still not sure" and kissed her again deepening it as her arms went round his neck and into his hair. He picked her up and laid her back down on the bed and pulled his shirt and jeans off. He knelt over her and slowly started to unbutton her shirt. He pushed it off her shoulders and then placing soft kisses all along her shoulders and neck showed her just how much he had been missing her.

Later on at the sound check for the show that night everyone was delighted to see that Seb was back to his usual happy self and was joining in with the conversations and fun and Sonia met Janice who although they had both been going with their guys for ages had never actually met each other before. Not everything was alright though as Auds was still refusing to forgive Urs for his behaviour and was hardly even talking to him. He came over to stand beside them all and said "I've got an idea to win Auds over, but i'll need you guys to help me do it." They listened as he told them what the plan was and David, Carlos and Seb all agreed to it and said it was fine by them while Janice and Sonia thought it was a lovely idea which was sure to make Auds forgive him. They agreed to do it the next night as there wasn't time to get it ready for that night.

*Chapter 19*

*The Next Day*

Sonia and Janice had decided that the 3 girls needed to spend the day together and had left the hotel dragging Auds with them early that morning, leaving the guys to do whatever they liked. They did some shopping and had some lunch, then Sonia decided that as a thank you to Auds and a welcome to Janice she was going to treat them all to some pampering at a Hair and Beauty Salon. It was there that they started talking about Urs and the way he had been acting. Janice looked at Sonia and said "I've been with David for 3 years and i've met all the guys a few times and i've never seen him react that way to anything before, he's always been the laid back one." Sonia agreed. "I've never seen him getting mad at anything, never mind someone he's in love with." Auds looked up from where she was sitting and said "Well, he's going to have to do some serious grovelling to get me to forgive him anytime soon. I don't put up with anyone treating me that way." She didn't notice that look that passed between Sonia and Janice when she said that. They were just leaving the salon when Sonia's phone rang, she picked it up and talked for a few minutes then hung up and said "I'm all tired now, I think we should go back to the hotel and have a rest before the show. That was Seb, they've all just left for the sound check and will just see us at the arena before the show." Janice agreed with Sonia and they headed back towards the hotel. "It should be a good show tonight, I can't wait to watch it out front with you girls." she said. Auds shook her head and said "I can't stay out front tonight, I have to do the work i should have been doing when you two dragged me out this morning." "But you have to be there, it will be a perfect end to a wonderful day." said Sonia glancing at Janice. Auds shook her head again and said "I really can't, sorry girls, you'll just have to watch it without me." then she walked off ahead of them. Sonia looked at Janice and said "She has to be out front tonight, all this will have been for nothing if she isn't there." "Don't worry, we'll figure something out, she'll be there." said Janice then added "We'd better catch up with her before she suspects something." and they followed after her.

The guys were halfway through the show and Auds still wasn't out front. Urs looked at the guys then down at the girls who shrugged and shook their heads. Backstage Auds phone rang and she answered it to find Steve on the other end saying he had a problem out front and needed her help. She told him she would be there right away then hung up and sighed. She was never going to get this work done. She walked through the doors out to the front and found Steve waiting for her. He took her to where Sonia and Janice were sitting and said "Sit there and wait" She looked up to the stage and saw Urs looking at her, he smiled and then said something to David. They finished the song they were singing then Urs came forward and said "We hope you don't mind, but we've added an extra song to the show, just for tonight, and i would like to take this opportunity to apologise to someone very special to me who's out there in the crowd tonight. I've treated this person really badly lately and i want to dedicate this song to them." He smiled at Auds then who was looking really shocked. The music started then and the guys started to sing with Urs never taking his eyes of Auds.

The crowd start clapping when they finish singing, but Urs is still looking at Auds who is sitting there with tears running down her face. He blows her a kiss and she blows him one back then turns to look at Sonia and Janice who were grinning at her. She stayed out front for another couple of songs then slipped backstage while everyone was moving during Somewhere. When they had finished the encore Urs came back into the room Auds was in and she gave him a massive hug and kissed him. "When did you guys plan this?" Urs smiled and said "I came up with the idea yesterday and we rehearsed it with the band all day today." then he pulled her down onto the sofa and onto his knee and kissed her. She pulled back and said "So that’s why Sonia and Janice dragged me out all day?" Urs nodded. "They were keeping you out of the way and Seb phoned Sonia when you were allowed to come back." then he kissed her again and ran a hand up her leg and under the short skirt she was wearing, he stopped at her thigh and started stroking it. He could hear Auds moan, but then she managed to move his hand away and stand up. "Not here, we could get caught out by someone walking in." She saw the look on his face and laughed. "I don't want to stop either babe, just move us somewhere more private, like our hotel room." Urs grinned and said "So, am i forgiven then? I promise never to treat you like that ever again." Auds nodded and said "You're forgiven, now hurry up and get changed so we can go and make up properly."

They all had the next day off and everyone had made their own plans on how to spend it. David had made all the plans for him and Janice and wouldn’t tell her what they were. They left the hotel before breakfast and got into the car David had hired. He headed out of the city and out into a more quiet area. They drove for what seemed like hours, but was only probably one when David turned down this lane that was long and winding. He came to a stop outside of it and got out of the car. He went round and opened the door for Janice who got out. She looked around her and said “Where are we?” David smiled and said “I know you haven’t been travelling for as long as we have, but you do get very sick of hotel rooms, so I rented this place for today and tonight, its somewhere we can be totally alone and do whatever we like.” He walked towards the door then pulling out a key to open it with. He opened it then turned back to Janice who was still standing beside the car looking at the size of the house. “Come on babe, lets go see what its like inside.” she walked towards him then squealed as he picked her up and carried her through the doorway. She hit him on the arm as he put her down again and said “You’re only meant to do that if we’ve just got married.” David smiled and said “Well, maybe we will be one day” and kissed her then walked away. Janice stood there for a minute wondering if he had just said what she thought he had then she shook her head and went to look round the house. David heard her yell and went to see where she was. He found her in a room with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi in it. She heard him approaching and turned to say in amazement. “Where did you find this place and how much did it cost you?” David smiled and said “Okay, I lied, I didn’t rent it. This house belongs to a friend of mine who is away overseas just now and I asked him if I could borrow it for a night.” He kissed her and said “Do you want some breakfast, I was just about to make some?” Janice shook her head and said “No thanks babe, I think I want to have a swim, I don’t suppose you managed to bring any of our clothes with you as well did you?” David shook his head and said “Unfortunately not, I couldn’t figure out how to get them out of the room without you noticing, so all we have is what we’re wearing.” Janice smiled and said “In that case, I shall just have to go in wearing nothing” and stripped off all her clothes leaving them in a pile on the floor below her then jumped into the pool. David watched her jump in, all thoughts of breakfast gone, and pulling off all his clothes joined her. He caught up to her at the far end and kissed her then they swam a few lengths together before going into the Jacuzzi. They sat together in there for a while then David stood up and said “I’ll be back in a minute” and walked off. Janice watched him leaving his naked body dripping water everywhere. She smiled then lay her head down on the side and shut her eyes. David came back 10 minutes later wearing a towel round his waist, with some food, 2 glasses and a bottle of Champagne in an ice bucket. Janice said “I preferred watching you when you weren’t wearing the towel." then laughed at the look of pretend shock on his face. He poured Janice a glass and handed it to her saying “I know its early, but we have to make the most of our day.” He poured himself a glass then put the bottle back in the ice bucket and laid it on the side of the spa. He got back into the Jacuzzi and watched Janice as she took a sip of her drink then he said “You know I love you, don’t you Jan?” Janice looked at him and nodded. “But do you really know how much I love you babe?” Janice put her glass down and looked at David with a worried look on her face and said “What’s wrong David?” David shook his head and said “Its nothing really, its just that your time here with me is nearly over and then you have to go back home and to work and we’ll probably not see each other again for months. Having you with me for so long has made me realise how much I miss waking up with you beside me and that I’m really going to miss that.” Janice moved so that she was sitting nearer him and said “Hey, we still have a week left and you know that I love you. I just can’t stay with you babe, as much as you and me both want me to, there is no way I can stay any longer.” David nodded and said “I know, its just that I’ll miss you when you’re gone.” Janice stood up and sat herself down on David, her legs straddling his and put one hand round his neck and let the other trail its way down his chest and said “lets not talk about this now, lets just enjoy the peace and quiet we have here.” then she kissed him. David pulled her in closer to his body and let his hands start wandering all over her body whilst deepening the kiss. Just as Janice thought she couldn’t cope anymore with the emotions passing through her he swiftly turned them over so that he was on top of her and showed her just how much he was going to miss her when she left. They lay there for a while afterwards just in each others arms when David said “How about we get out of this water and go somewhere else. They got out and went up to one of the bedrooms where they stayed for pretty much most of the day.

*Chapter 20*

Carlos was wandering around the hotel trying to think of something to do, the other guys had all paired up with their girls and disappeared to do their own things. He wandered down to the bar and ordered himself a coffee. He was still waiting for it to arrive when his phone rang. He looked at the call screen and smiled when he saw it said ‘Red’ he answered it with “Hey baby, how are you doing?” He talked to her for a while then hung up the phone and went back to doing nothing. Michelle left her office and went down the hall a bit to Jane’s and went in shutting the door behind her and said “I just spoke to Carlos and he sounds awfully sad. They have a day off and all the other guys have their girls with them and have gone of by themselves and left him all alone.” Jane looked up and said “That’s not very nice is it” “I know, that’s why I’m here.” Jane looked at her friend and said “What are you planning Mich?” Michelle looked at her friend and said “I’ve never been able to get that kiss out of my mind and I can still feel it even now. I think I’m ready to take the next step with Carlos now.” Jane smiled and said “I’m so pleased to hear that Mich, but you do realise that they’re touring America at the moment, he’s not going to have any time to come over here and spend with you.” Michelle grinned and said “I know, that’s why I’m going to go to America and surprise him.” Jane stared at her friend and said “How exactly are you going to do that?” Michelle said “Well, I have got plenty of holiday time owing as all I’ve done since you know who is bury myself in my work, so the time off is not a problem. I know where about in America they are because he gave me a copy of their itinerary, so I would be able to work out the time differences etc.. So all I need to do is book my flights and find a way to tell one of the other guys I’m coming” She smiled at Jane then disappeared out of her office as quick as she had appeared.

Sonia and Seb had chosen to not leave the hotel or their room. They had ordered breakfast and lunch off room service and had spent most of the morning in bed just lying in each others arms and talking about what was going to happen now that Sonia was going to be around all the time. Then they had started talking about the wedding plans and when they were going to actually get married. They finally settled on a date that didn't cause major hassles to Seb's schedule and said that all they needed now was to decide where they were getting married. After they had eaten lunch they moved from the bed and curled up on the sofa together and watched a movie on the tv. Seb had fallen asleep halfway through the film and Sonia looked at him now, he looked so peaceful with his head leaning back on the sofa. She decided to leave him sleeping and went for a shower. She had only been in it for a few minutes when she heard the door opening, but didn't turn round. She smiled as she felt his arms go round her waist and she twisted round so that she was facing him. She kissed him then said "I thought you were sleeping?" He kissed her back and said "I was, but i must have sensed you'd moved as i woke up to find you gone." He kissed her again then as the water was coming down over the two of them and he walked her carefully backwards to lean against the shower wall then he started kissing every part of her from top to bottom. Sonia was shivering from all the contact and he pulled her into his arms again and she wrapped her legs around him as he finally made love to her. Afterwards he wrapped her up in a towel and carried her back through to the bedroom where they went back to bed.

Urs had hired a motorbike for the day and him and Auds were off on that riding out of the city and through more quieter lanes and roads. Auds was hanging on tightly to Urs as she had never been on a bike before and he was going very fast. They came to a stop eventually and Urs helped Auds off the bike and said "Are you okay?" Auds nodded and said "I didn't realise it was so much fun to ride a bike, its always looked so scary when they speed past you on the road." Urs grinned and said "I'll have you riding your own bike yet." then laughed at the look of fear that passed over Auds face. She shook her head and said "I think i'll just stick to riding behind you, that way i get to hang on tight to you" and grinned at him.
She looked around her and said "Where are we?" He took her hand and said "This is just another way i came up with to apologise for being an idiot, the concert was just part one." He walked towards a gate in the wall next to them and opened it and led her through and they walked round the side of this building. Auds gasped as she saw a beautiful picnic laid out on the ground with a bunch of red roses as the centrepiece of the rug. She turned to Urs and said "When did you do all this? you haven't left my side all morning." He grinned and said "I didn't do it, i hired it from a company and they came and set it up for me. I'm glad you like it." They walked over to where it was and sat down beside each other. Urs handed Auds the roses and she smelled them and then kissing him said "These are beautiful baby, but i don't think they'll survive the bike ride home." Urs smiled and said "Don't worry, they aren't coming home with us, the company comes back and packs everything up and delivers anything that’s needed to where the person is staying." Auds smiled up at him and said "You really have thought of everything, haven't you." He kissed her then said as he could feel her hands creeping their way up his legs "Should we not eat first?" Auds grinned as she let her hands carry on what they were doing and said "I'm not that hungry...for food anyway...She could feel Urs' breathing getting deeper and she turned and kissed him hard on the lips. He tried to put his arms round her waist but she pushed them away saying with a twinkle in her eye "No touching, just sit back and enjoy" he groaned and pulled his hands away reluctantly. She got to the top of his jeans and started to pull at the buckle opening it. She threw it off to the side and opened the top button and the other buttons. She left it there and moved up to the t-shirt which she pulled up his body with her hands and over his head. She placed a trail of kisses down his body until she reached the top of his jeans again. She pushed him back gently so that he was lying and she managed to remove his jeans. She reached over and took one of the roses he'd given her and started to run the flower over his body. He shivered at the touch and had to use all his strength not to grab hold of her and take over. Eventually, just when he couldn't stand it anymore and was about to reach out for her, she stopped and leant down and whispered something in his ear. He smiled and said something back then they finally gave in to each other and made love out in the open air.
After that they had eaten the gorgeous picnic and then Urs had driven them back to the hotel on the bike.

Everyone was back at the hotel that night except for David and Janice who were staying overnight at the house. They had all met up in the bar for a drink after dinner and were talking away amongst themselves when Carlos' phone rang. He answered it with "hello" and smiled when he heard Michelle on the other end. He was talking to her when Steve appeared and said "Carlos, i need to talk to you right away." Carlos looked at him and pointed to the phone. Steve said "I'm sorry it won't take long, but i have to talk to you now." Carlos sighed and said "Michelle, i have to go talk to Steve for a minute, you don't mind talking to Seb while i'm away do you?" Michelle couldn't believe her luck, she still hadn't figured out how to get in touch with one of the other guys and here was Carlos actually giving her to one of the guys to talk to. She quickly said "No, i don't mind, take your time babe." she heard nothing for a minute then this French voice said "Hey Michelle" She said "hello" back and then very quickly said "I'm planning on flying out to meet you guys and Carlos, but i don't want him to know i'm coming." Seb was grinning and said "That’s wonderful, Carlos will love it, when are you coming? I'll get someone to pick you up at the airport." "Aww thanks Seb, that’s sweet of you, but i haven't booked it yet, I was going to do that after i'd talked to him." Seb looked round too see where Carlos was then said "I'll give you my number and then you can just phone me when you know everything." He gave her his number then said "He's coming back. i'll see you soon." Michelle smiled to herself then said "Thanks Seb" then she heard Carlos' voice again. She talked to him for a while then they hung up.

*2 days later*

Michelle was standing in a strange airport wondering which way to go. She had booked her flight after she had got off the phone with Carlos and had phoned Seb with all the details later on. He'd said that there would be someone there to meet her, but she had no idea who it was going to be.
She walked through the arrivals lounge and towards the doors. She still couldn't see anyone who looked like they were looking for her when she heard a voice behind her saying "Michelle" She turned round and came face to face with Seb and Sonia. She smiled and said "Seb, I didn't think you would come yourself, i thought you were going to send someone." He smiled then said "I was, but then i realised that the less people who knew about this the better the chance was of Carlos not finding out." He gave her a hug then and said "Do you remember Sonia?" Michelle nodded and said "Yeah, you were together the last time i met you in Paris." Sonia nodded and said "That was just before Seb here asked me to marry him, i've just started to travel with him and the guys all the time." Michelle grinned and hugged her saying "That’s great news hun." Seb looked around and said "We'd better get out of here before people start to realise who i am." then laughed and said "That sounded so bigheaded didn't it."
They led Michelle out to the car Seb had hired and they drove back to the hotel. Michelle went and booked herself into a room as Sonia and Seb kept watch for Carlos. They walked up to her room with her and then took her to Carlos' room. They left her alone there, saying they would see her later, maybe." Michelle blushed and then knocked on the door. She heard footsteps then it opened to reveal Carlos. His face went white with shock at seeing who was standing there and he said "Michelle, what, how, when, where?" Michelle grinned and said "Well, hello to you too, am i not allowed inside?" Carlos shook himself out of the trance he'd seemed to go into and said "Of course, i'm sorry." He stood to the side and let her in then he shut the door behind her. He walked over to the bed and sitting down said "How did you get here?" She smiled and said "I felt so sorry for you the other day when i was talking to you and the others had all gone off and left you, that i booked myself onto a flight and came to spend some time with you. I gave Seb all the details and him and Sonia just picked me up at the airport." He shook his head and said "They've known you were coming for 2 days and never let on, wait til i see them." he grinned then looking at her said "God, i've missed you Red. Would you mind if i kissed you?" Michelle smiled shyly then said "Well, i didn't fly halfway across the world to say no to a question like that." Carlos grinned and put his hand under her chin and lifted her face up to his and kissed her, softly at first then more deeply as she started to respond to him. They broke apart and said "How long can you stay?" Michelle looked at him and ran a hand through his hair and said "I took two weeks of work, but i can arrange for more if i want it." Carlos smiled and said "well, we'll have to see how things go" then he kissed her again.

The time that David and Janice had both been dreading had finally arrived. It was her last night with them and she really didn't want to go home, they were in their room getting ready as they were all going out after the show that night for a meal and some drinks to say goodbye to her. She turned to see David lying on the bed wearing just his boxers watching her. She smiled at him and said "Are you not going to get ready?" David shook his head and said "I thought i would just do the show like this tonight." Janice laughed and said "I'm sure all your diva's will love that!" David grinned then said "Maybe I should just keep this look for the one extra special diva in my life." then he patted the bed and said "Come here." Janice shook her head. David tried not to smile as he patted the bed again and said "Jan, come here." She shook her head again and turned away from him to hide the grin on her face. David got up of the bed quietly and walked over to her and putting one arm round her waist he pulled her hair out of the way with the other and started to nibble on her bare neck. he leaned back into him and sighed. They stood like that for a few minutes then David's phone rang. He groaned and tried to ignore it, but it kept ringing. He let go of Janice and answered it. "David, its mum, i've got some bad news." David immediately looked worried and said "What’s happened mum?" Janice came and sat down beside him. "Its Jodie" said his mum. David sighed and said "What has she done now?" There was a silence then he heard "She's gotten herself fired from her latest job. That’s the 5th job in 4 months. She's getting more and more out of control and you're the only one she ever listens to." David ran his free hand through his hair and said "I know, but i can't come home at the minute, we're in the middle of our tour." "I know that David and i know that you would if you could, I wondered if she would be able to go with you for a while? She might calm down a bit if she has your influence on her and the change of place might be good too." David looked at the watch Janice had just put in front of his face and his eyes widened. "Mum, i really got to go, I have to be at the arena in 10 minutes and i'm not even dressed yet. I'll talk to Steve and see what he says, I love you." He hung up and looked at Janice who said "Jodie?" David nodded and said "I'll tell you all about my little sisters antics in the car." then he got dressed quickly and they left.

*Chapter 21*

*A week later*


David was back at the airport, this time to pick up Jodie. He had told Steve all about her and he had agreed with his mum that maybe she could do with a change and had agreed to have her come with them for a while. He watched as all the passengers on her flight appeared, but there was no sign of her. Then he heard a commotion and knew that she would be in the middle of it somehow. She came through the doors into the lounge and spotting David straight away shouted at the top of her voice "Davie" then dropped all her bags and ran towards him pulling him into a massive hug. He looked around him embarrassed and then said "Hey sis, i think you should go pick your bags up." Jodie looked at him then turned and went to pick all her bags up. They got into the car and drove back to the hotel, David already dreading how this was going to go, she certainly appeared to be more hyper than he remembered. When they had got to the hotel and had settled Jodie into her room he sat her down and said "Right, i don't want to sound like I'm nagging, but I have to work with these people, so can you please try not to cause any scenes or upset anyone and if someone asks you to do something, can you please do it?" Jodie looked at his face and knew that he was worried about her. He had never been good at hiding his feelings from her. She nodded her head and said "I'll try, but you know what i'm like Dave, i just say and do what i like." David nodded and said "I know that, but that’s not always best Jodes" Jodie smiled. David was the only person who called her that. He sighed and said "Okay, lets go and find the others and please try and be nice."

He phoned Seb to ask him where they all were and he told him that they were all in Carlos' room. They made their way to Carlos' room and knocked and went straight in. They were all in there, Auds & Urs, Sonia & Seb and Carlos & Michelle. He introduced them to Jodie and then they all had a drink. Jodie looked around her at the gang of people she was to be hanging about with for the next while and thought they looked like fun, then her eyes landed on Urs who was standing by himself. She walked over to him and said "Hey" Urs smiled at her and said "So, you're David's little sister. I hope you're not as crazy as him, one crazy Miller around here is bad enough." then he grinned. Jodie didn't know what it was, but when he had grinned she had felt as if she had started falling. She grinned back and said "Me, no I'm nowhere near as crazy as Davie. Mum always said that i was the only person David would listen to." She talked to him for a bit longer then Auds came over and Urs put an arm round her and kissed her. Jodie tried to ignore the fact that Urs had his arm round Auds and said "how long have you two been together? Auds smiled widely and said " Just over two months now." she kissed Urs again and said "i'm going to go do some work now that i have to catch up on before tonight’s show, you stay here and enjoy yourself." she kissed him again then turned to Jodie and said "nice to meet you Jodie." then she walked away saying bye to the others on her way out.

Jodie noticed the look on Urs face as he watched her walk out. It was the look of a man in love. She frowned and thought to herself that she always got what she wanted and she had found something she wanted.

A few days had passed and Jodie seemed to have settled in well. David was worried though that she was up to something. He was sitting talking to Urs about her. "She's only ever been this good when she's up to something, i just don't know what." he said. Urs looked at him and said "Maybe she really is just trying to behave, i've talked to her a few times and she's always been really nice." "Exactly" said David. "I know Jodie and she doesn't do nice unless she's after something." Urs shrugged and said "Well, she is your sister and you would know her better than me, but, all i'm saying is to give her the chance to prove that she's changing, don't just automatically assume that she's up to something." David sighed and said "Maybe you're right."

Auds was sitting down in the restaurant going over some stuff on her laptop. The guys were almost finished their tour of America then they had a week of meetings to discuss the new album before they headed over to the UK for some shows at various castles in Scotland and England. She looked up as she heard her name and saw Jodie approaching. She sighed then put on a smile as she sat down beside her. She knew she was David's sister, but there was just something she didn't like about her, she couldn't place it, but she just had a feeling she wasn't to be trusted. "Hey Auds, I hope you don't mind me bothering you, i can't seem to find anyone else around." said Jodie. "That’s because they're away at an interview for a magazine." said Auds trying not too sound too rude. "Can i help you with anything specific as i am rather busy at the moment." Jodie shook her head then said "Can you tell me all about how you and Urs met?" Auds looked up at her warily then closing her laptop lid said "Sure, just let me get a coffee first." and went off to get a coffee. Jodie very quickly lifted the laptop open and after looking for a minute wrote something down. She shut the laptop again as Auds appeared back and sat down. "Okay, Urs and I have had a lot happening to us both since we met two months ago. I used to work for their record company Sony BMG and one day they were looking for a new P.A. so my two friends at the time." her eyes darkened as she thought of Nyree. "Well, they put my name down for the job and although i tried my hardest not to get it, i got it. I had to go and spend the day with Simon Cowell, David and Urs the next day to catch up on everything they had planned for the upcoming months. Urs asked me if i wanted to go have some lunch with him and i couldn't come up with anything quick enough to get out of it, so i went and made a complete idiot of myself." Jodie smiled and said "How and why did you not want to go?" Auds smiled as she remembered. "I had been in love with Urs for a long time before i actually met them and him, so i was finding it hard not to let him know this and i failed so miserably. I ran out of the cafe he had taken me too and ran off on him. He found me sitting in the middle of the road with tears running down my face." Jodie smiled again whilst trying to figure out how she could use all this information. "To cut a long story short, we came to a small truce that i would try and work with him and he would try not to look so sexy!! That worked for about two days when it all got too tough again. So David and the other two guys decided to sort it for us and shut us together in a moving car and made us talk to each other and admit how we both felt. It worked and that was when we first got together." She looked up at Jodie who was smiling at her. "It all sounds so romantic." she said.
Jodie stood up then and said “I’ll let you get back to your work, we shall have to spend some more time together soon though.” Auds smiled at her and said “yeah, we will.” then after Jodie walked away muttered to herself “Not as long as I can help it”

*Chapter 22*

Jodie walked off and made sure she was out of sight before she opened her hand and looked at what she had written and then smiled. She headed for her room and added it to the rest of the information she had managed to gather. She was going to start putting her plan into action soon and Auds was going to have lost everything she loved before she even realised what was happening. She was still going over everything so that she knew what to do and at what time when there was a knock on her door. She quickly hid everything under her pillow and shouted "come in." The door opened and David walked in. "Hey sis, how has your day been?" he asked. She smiled at him and said "It was lovely, I spent some time talking to Auds, she told me the story of how her and Urs met and how you guys had made them talk to each other properly." David sat down beside her and said "That's right, so much has happened to them both since then that i had forgotten about that." Jodie looked interested at this and said "What’s all happened to them?" David looked at her, not sure if he should say anything then said "Well, Auds flew home to London to give up her career so that she could be with Urs, then on her way back to us in Spain her plane crashed and she was lucky to get out alive, she had to spend 3 weeks in a Spanish hospital recovering by herself as we carried on touring, then she almost wouldn't get onto the plane when Urs and i went to pick her up after she got out. She still hates flying and just a couple of weeks ago they fell out when he started treating her really bad when she was only trying to help Seb with something personal." Jodie stared at them and said "Christ, that’s a hell of a lot of bad luck for a couple who have only been together for a couple of months." David nodded then said "But, its made them so much stronger though. Those two are made for each other. It won't surprise me at all when they announce their engagement." He never noticed the look on Jodie's face when he said that. He stood up then and said "Come out for dinner with me." Jodie shook her head and said "No thanks, I'm all right,." David said "Come on Jodes, i haven't seen you all day and i'm meeting Auds and Urs downstairs then we're going to find somewhere nice." She quickly changed her mind when she heard that and said "Okay then, give me half an hour to get ready and i'll meet you all downstairs." David smiled and then nodded and left her to it.

Urs put down his phone and turned to see Auds coming out of the bathroom wearing only a towel. He grinned and walked up behind her and pulled her back into him. He put his hand on the part of the towel she had tucked in and said "You look too hot wearing this, i shall have to remove it." then he pulled it off her and flung it on the ground behind him. She turned to face him and he just stood there for a minute staring at her body then he kissed her and pulled her closer. He put his arms round her waist and let one start wandering. Auds pulled away and picked up the towel saying "Stop, we both know what will happen if we carry on like this and we have to meet David soon." Urs pouted then said "Maybe you're right, he just phoned when you were in the shower, he's asked Jodie to come along tonight as well." Auds groaned and Urs looked at her and said "What? I thought you liked her?" Auds shook her head and said "I don't not like her, i just don't believe that she's as nice as she is making out to be, there's just something about her that doesn't seem right." Urs sighed. "No wonder the poor girl is like she is, the way that you and even David are talking about her. If people don't give her a chance then she's never going to be able to change as its going to be always flung back in her face." Auds stared at him and said "Where is this coming from?" "I've spent some time talking to her since she arrived and it just seems that she's never been given the right chances or opportunities to prove herself. I think that she is a wonderful person and that she just needs people to stop giving her a rough time." Auds opens her mouth to say something when Urs stands up and says "I'll just meet you downstairs." and walked out their room leaving her alone.

Auds finished getting ready and left their room to go meet the others. As she was waiting for the lift she heard a voice behind her. She turned to see David walking towards her and she smiled. When he reached her he said "Urs not ready yet?" Auds smile slipped and she said "We had a small disagreement about something and he walked off. He's probably downstairs waiting for us." David put his arm round her and gave her a hug then said "Don't worry, he'll be fine once he's had time to think, it was nothing too bad i hope?" The lift arrived then and they walked into it then Auds said "Nah, just a difference of opinion." The lift stopped then and they walked into the foyer. Auds stopped when she saw Urs sitting beside Jodie, she had her hand on his arm and he was laughing at something she'd said. He looked up and his smile faded when he saw David and Auds. David noticed this look between them, as did Jodie who smiled to herself, and taking Auds by the arm walked towards them and said "So, where are we going for dinner?" Auds looked at Jodie and was positive that she was smirking at her. She said "I'm not actually that hungry anymore, i'm going to stay here, you guys go and have fun though." then turned and walked back to the lift. She could feel eyes staring at her back, but she never turned round to see whose they were. She got into the lift and thought about going and talking to Sonia, but decided against it, in case she felt like Urs. She didn't know why she felt like this all of a sudden.

As they were making their way to a restaurant David tried to have a quiet word with Urs about what had happened with him and Auds, but he couldn't get near him as Jodie had seemed to attach herself to him and wasn't looking like letting go. He frowned and wondered if she had anything to do with it, he would have to talk to her later and find out. They found a place they all liked and they went in and got a table. David excused himself and went to find a quiet spot, he phoned Auds to see if she was alright. Auds having just laid down and drifted off, never answered her phone leaving David even more worried. He went back to the table and said "I'm not feeling to good all of a sudden, i don't think i could eat anything, i'm just going to head back to the hotel." Urs said "Do you want us to come back with you?" He shook his head, there's no need for us all to miss out, you two stay here and eat, i'll probably just go straight to bed anyway." Urs nodded and David left them alone. He made his way quickly back to the hotel and went straight for Auds room, he knocked on the door and waited for it to open. He knocked again louder this time and was relieved to hear movement this time. Auds looked surprised to see him standing there and said "David, what are you doing here? Why aren't you with the others?" He walked into the room past her and she shut the door and turned to face him. He looked at her and said "I want an honest answer to this Auds, was it because of Jodie that you and Urs had words earlier?" Auds looked at the floor and didn't say anything. She took a deep breath then started to speak when David interrupted her and said "Tell me the truth, i know she's my sister, but i also know what she's like." Auds looked at him and said "Okay, yes, it was about Jodie. I'm sorry David, i know she's your sister and i really wanted to like her, but i really can't, there's just something about her." David sank onto the bed behind him and said "I knew she was up to something. I just don't know what." Auds sat down beside him and said "Hey, don't worry about it, me and Urs are strong, we'll get through this. We're not always going to like the same people" David smiled at her and said "I know you two will be fine, i was just telling Jodie all about everything you two had been through earlier." Auds frowned and said "She was asking me earlier how we had met, she seems to be awfully interested in us and nobody else." David groaned. "I think i know what she's up to, she did this to somebody else back at home. A couple that had been together for years, she took a fancy to the guy and managed to wreck everything they had, she made them hate each other and it looked like they had just come apart naturally. She took up with the guy afterwards then dumped him after a few months. I only found out when the guy told me that she had been flirting with him all through the break up and that’s why he had broken up with his partner." Auds stared at David then said "That’s terrible, you must have felt so bad." David nodded and said "Thing is, he was one of my best friends and i couldn't bring myself to face him after that, so i lost a good friend through her." Auds shook her head then said "But Urs wouldn't fall for it, after everything we've been through, we're stronger than most couples are." David nodded and said "I agree, we'll just have to keep an eye on her and you had better not leave Urs alone too often when she's around."

They sat there talking for a bit longer both unaware of what was actually happening back at the restaurant where they had left Urs and Jodie alone.

*Chapter 23*

Jodie kept pouring more wine into Urs’ glass and he found it was going straight to his head. He didn’t seem to understand why he was getting drunk and she wasn’t. Then he thought it was because he didn’t drink that much anymore and he just wasn’t used to it. They had talked all the way through their dinner and they were now considering whether or not to have a pudding or to just go back to the hotel and have another drink at the bar there. Jodie leaned over and putting her hand on Urs’ knee under the table whispered something in his ear to which he went red. She laughed and removed her hand and stood up holding out her hand for him to take. He got up and took her hand and after paying for their meal left the restaurant hand in hand. They made their way slowly to the hotel as Urs was finding it hard to walk in a straight line. Jodie slipped her arm round his back and that helped him walk a bit better. They got into the hotel and went to the bar. They sat themselves down at a table or rather fell down in Urs’ case causing them both to burst out laughing. Jodie went to the bar and came back with a bottle of Champagne and two glasses. She said something to him and he nodded and managed to stand up again. She took his arm to steady him and they headed towards the lift. They got out of it and disappeared into her room.


Urs woke up early with a terrible headache. He wondered why Auds had let him drink so much at dinner. He turned over slowly and saw her bare back lying beside him. He ran a hand up her spine and started to place soft kisses all up her back and over her shoulders. She shivered under his touch and he rolled her over to kiss her properly. He suddenly froze as he saw her face. It wasn’t Auds at all, it was Jodie. He didn’t want to move in case she woke up, but he had to get out of there. He slowly pushed the bedclothes off him and discovered he was wearing nothing. He took a look round the room and saw an empty bottle of Champagne, empty bottles from the rooms mini bar and his and her clothes flung all over the room. He moved as quietly as he could and picking up all his clothes went into the bathroom and locked the door. He quickly got dressed then sank to the floor and put his head in his hands wondering what the hell he had just done. What was he going to say to Auds? How could he even face her again after what he had done?

Jodie was lying awake in the bed. She had woken up when he had ran his hand up her spine. She had forced herself to keep her eyes closed until she had heard him going into the bathroom. She smiled to herself, it had gone like clockwork, Auds had been easy to get rid off, she had been worried about David, but he had excused himself. The rest was simple, get Urs as drunk as possible and then get him into her room, wait until he passed out on the bed, strip him and scatter the clothes around the room, do the same with her own then just get into bed with him and wait for him to realise where he was. What happened after that was up to him, he could tell Auds what he’d done and ruin what they had quickly or he could try and keep it quiet and pretend everything was okay and ruin what they had slowly. She shut her eyes quickly as she heard the lock on the bathroom door opening. He walked quietly out of there and making sure she was still sleeping he crept out of her room making sure he wasn’t seen. He couldn’t go back to his room as he would have to knock to get Auds to let him in and he couldn’t go to one of the guys without having to explain why. He suddenly thought of David. How was he going to face him. This was going to ruin everything. He made his way down to the bar and curled up in a corner and sat there trying to figure out what he was going to do. He had just ruined everything he had with Auds for a…he didn’t even know what it was. He felt the tears start to fall, but he let them. He deserved to lose everything, he was a horrible person. He must have fallen asleep as the next thing he felt was being shoved by someone. He opened his eyes and saw Seb and Carlos standing over him. He looked past them and saw Sonia and Michelle as well. He looked up as he heard Seb say “Urs, why are you sleeping down here when you have a perfectly good room and girlfriend upstairs?” Urs tried think of something fast then said “Uhm, well, we kind of had a small disagreement last night and I thought I would give her some space.” Carlos groaned and said “Will you two ever get through a week without falling out over something?” Seb hit him on the arm and said “Don’t be mean.” He handed Urs his room key and said “I would go have a shower and freshen up before you try getting into your own room.” Urs took the key saying “thank you” to Seb and headed for his room. The lift doors opened to reveal David and Jodie inside. His stomach almost turned over at the sight of her and he felt like he was glued to the spot. David and Jodie had come out and she said good morning to him in her normal way before carrying on to get some breakfast. He wondered if she remembered any of last night, obviously no, or she was being a very good actress. David was looking at him worriedly and said “Just what did you two get up to last night? You look terrible man and you stink of alcohol.” Urs lowered his head then said “I think I had too much to drink then fell asleep in the bar, Seb and Carlos just woke me up.” then he walked off taking the stairs as he didn’t want to stand there waiting for the lift to come back in case David asked him something else.

He let himself into Seb’s room and he switched the shower on full blast and turned the heat up. He practically scrubbed himself raw to get the horrible feeling to go away until he stopped and realised that it wasn’t on his skin, it was inside him and no amount of scrubbing was going to get rid of it. He got out and dried himself off then he searched for something clean to borrow of Seb as he couldn’t bear putting his own back on. He took a deep breath and then left the room and headed for his and Auds room.

Urs was standing in front of the door to his and Auds room and was about to knock when it opened and Auds was standing in front of him. She looked at him then said “Urs, where have you been? I’ve been worried about you.” He stared at her, he loved her so much and the thought of losing her was killing him. “Auds, I need to talk to you.” She looked at his face and could tell that it was important. She nodded and walked back into the room. She sat down on the bed and just waited. Urs leaned against the table, he hadn’t a clue where to start. He looked down at the floor then said “You know how much I love you, don’t you baby? And that I would never do anything to hurt you intentionally.” He didn’t look up to see her reaction and carried on. "I um, I uh, I spent last night in Jodie’s room, with her. I don’t remember going to her room, but I woke up to find myself in her bed with neither of us wearing anything.” He looked up then and saw that Auds had tears running down her face. This started him off again and through the tears he said “I am so sorry Auds, you have got to believe me. I don’t remember anything about last night, I don’t know if we even did anything. I got my stuff and got out of there as fast as I could.” Auds got off the bed and started to gather all her things together and put them into the bag she carried with her. She didn’t say a word which worried him. “Baby, please don’t walk away from us, I love you so much and I wish I could turn the clock back and change everything. I have been so stupid and I know that it would take a lot of work, but we can fix this. Please, just don’t leave me.”

Auds picked up her bags and staring at him said “I can’t believe a word you say anymore. We’ve only been together two months and we’ve been through more heartache than some people get in a lifetime together. Well, I’ve had enough, I can’t and won’t cope with anymore.” She looked at him and saw the look of despair on his face and the tears that he wasn’t attempting to stop flowing and said “I love you so much, but its not worth all the heartache for the few days of happiness that we seem to have before it all goes wrong again. Goodbye Urs.” then she walked out of the room. Urs sank onto the bed and just curled up and lay there crying for ages. He had told her the truth, he had confessed all to her and she had still walked out on him. She had left him and he didn’t know how he was going to cope without her. He lay there for hours ignoring his phone which kept ringing and beeping. He also ignored the knocking on the door that happened every so often. Eventually he looked at the time and realised that he was meant to be on stage in an hour. He dragged himself into the shower and then made his way to the arena. When he walked in he was jumped on by the 3 other guys demanding to know what was going on. He stared at David and said “Why don’t you ask your sister? She’s the reason Auds walked out on me this morning.” then walked away from them. He shut himself away until they went on stage. He performed way under his usual standards, but he didn’t seem to have the will to do anything about it.

*Chapter 24*

Meanwhile, Auds was sitting on a flight back to London. She had booked herself on the first flight back and was going to go see Simon when she got back to hand in her resignation. She wasn’t going to stay there though as she knew that would be the first place Urs would come looking for her, she was going to go somewhere he would never find her. She knew what David had told her about Jodie, but she had thought Urs would never fall for it. It didn’t matter to her that he had confessed all to her, it was the fact that he had done it in the first place. She had thought they were strong and nothing would come between them. But they obviously hadn’t been strong enough for him to go and sleep with someone else. She remembered the feeling in her stomach when he had told her and she never wanted to feel that again. She was going to miss him though, she wasn’t ever going to be able to completely forget him. She just wished she’d been able to say goodbye to David, Carlos, Seb and the girls. But she knew if she had gone to see them that they would have persuaded her to stay and try to work things out.

The next few days passed in a blur for Urs. He refused to talk to anyone and kept himself to himself. David had tried talking to Jodie, but she was being unusually quiet. She was surprised at how bad she was feeling and seeing how much it had affected Urs wasn't helping her feel any better. She wasn't used to this happening, usually once she had split the couple up the guy would stay with her until she had had enough of him and moved onto the next couple. But Urs wouldn't speak to her now, he wouldn't speak to anyone, he just went through the motions of working without putting any actual emotions in to it. Thankfully they had their last show that night in America and then they had a week before they had the shows in the UK. After the show Seb, Carlos, Urs, Sonia and Michelle were flying to London as they had a week of meetings about their 3rd album. David was going to fly back to his parents with Jodie for the night. He was sure she had had something to do with Auds leaving, but as he couldn't get either of them to talk he couldn't actually prove it. He would actually be glad to leave her there.

They had all arrived in London and gone to their various apartments, glad to be away from hotels, for a short time anyway. Urs had dumped his bags at his place then went straight round to Auds' flat. He knocked for ages, but she never appeared. Eventually one of her neighbours came out and said "She's not there, she hasn't been around for months now." Urs said "Thank you" then looking to see what the time was decided to go see Simon. He pulled up outside his house and sat there for ages before getting out and knocking on his door. Simon opened the door and said "I wondered when you would show up" then let him into the house. He led him through to the kitchen where they had all spent the day together. They sat down and before Urs could speak Simon said "What did you do Urs? Auds looked terrible when she came to see me the other day." Urs lowered his head and said "I honestly don't know, all i remember is waking up in bed with David's sister Jodie four days ago. I don't know if we actually did anything or not, but we were both naked." Simon sighed and said "And Auds found out?" Urs shook his head and said "I told her, i thought that if i told her we could work it through together and that we would be okay. But she wouldn't even talk to me, said that she couldn't and wouldn't put up with anymore heartache and then she walked away. I haven't seen or heard from her since then." He looked up at Simon who could see the pain etched all over Urs' face. He said "She came to see me at the office to hand in her resignation, she wouldn't tell me everything, just that she had had enough and didn't want to do it anymore. I knew it must have been bad as she looked worse than you do now." Urs looked at him and said "Did she say where she was going? She's not at her place and i really need to find her, to tell her how much i love her and that i can't live without her. Please Simon, if you know where she is, i have to see her." Simon shook his head sadly and said "I'm sorry, she never said where she was going, just that she needed to go somewhere to clear her head." They talked for a while longer, Urs telling him how he really felt and how he had to find Auds to tell her as well then he left as Simon reminded him about their meeting the next morning.

After he had shut the door and made sure he was gone he shouted up the stairs "He's gone, you can come down now" Auds appeared at the top of the stairs and said "Thanks Simon, for everything. I'm not ready to see him yet, i'm not sure if i ever will be." Simon put his arm round her shoulder as she reached the bottom of the stairs and said "He really is hurting over this, he looked almost as bad as you did when you came to the office." Auds looked at him and said "Its his own fault, he let himself fall under her spell, they all did, only David and myself knew there was something not right about her. I do miss the other guys though, maybe you could say goodbye to them for me when you see them all at the meeting tomorrow." Simon nodded and said "Sure, now lets have a coffee." Auds nodded and they walked through into the kitchen.

Urs was doing everything he could to find Auds, but he wasn’t getting anywhere and he was looking more and more terrible as each day passed. He wouldn’t eat anything unless he was forced to. Simon was watching him at the meetings and then going home and telling Auds what he was like and how he wasn’t giving up on his search for her. But she still refused to speak to him and told Simon that if he told him she was staying with him that she would just leave and then nobody would know where she was.

*Chapter 25*

They had been in London for 4 days when David finally managed to get Urs to talk to him. He had taken him back to his place after a day in the office and was going to cook him dinner, ignoring his protests that he wasn’t hungry. They were in the kitchen, David in the middle of cooking, when Urs suddenly said “I can’t do it anymore, I can’t cope without her.” David looked up and said “I’m sorry Urs, I feel like this is all my fault, I don’t know what Jodie did, but I know that she was the reason that Auds left, not just you, but all of us, she is my sister and if I hadn’t brought her out with us none of this would have happened.” Urs shook his head and said “No, it wasn’t your fault and It wasn’t even all her fault.” David looked confused. “That night, the one where the four of us were going for dinner. Auds and I had had a small fight.” David nodded and said “I remember, I met her at the lift and she told me, we went downstairs together and when she saw you and Jodie together she stopped and I saw the look that passed between you both.” “Then you took her arm and walked her over to us and she said she had changed her mind and was going back to the room and then she walked away.” finished Urs. David nodded “So, we just went out as three of us, but once we reached the restaurant, I went away to phone Auds as I was worried about her, but she never answered, so I decided to go back to the hotel and find her.” Urs stared at him and said “I didn’t know that.” “Yeah, I went back to find her and we had a good talk about how Jodie seemed to be only interested in you and her and none of the other couples. That’s when I realised what she was doing. She had done the same thing a few years ago to this other couple. She flirted with the guy and made him and his girlfriend hate each other so much that they split up. Jodie went out with the guy for a few months then dumped him. He had been my best friend at the time and when I found out what she had done, I couldn’t face him and I never spoke to him again.” He looked at Urs who was looking shocked then said “I thought it was going to happen again with you, when you wouldn’t talk to me.”

Urs felt the tears start to fall and said “And I fell for it, Auds kept saying she didn’t think she could be trusted and I ignored her. She must have got me really drunk that night because I don’t remember a thing after you leaving and then I woke up the next day in bed with her and neither of us were wearing anything. I don’t know if we did anything or not, but I got my stuff and got myself out of there as quickly as possible. I couldn’t believe I had just thrown away everything me and Auds had for something I couldn’t even remember. I didn’t know where to go, I knew I couldn’t go to our room or any of you guys, so I went down to the bar. I must have fallen asleep as Seb and Carlos found me. Seb gave me his room key and told me to go have a shower, but I met you and Jodie coming out of the lift and I froze.” He brushed the tears aside and looked up at David who had gone really pale. “I’m sorry Dave, I know this must be hard for you to hear?” David shook his head and said “I know she’s my kid sister and I do love her, but she’s always had this mean streak in her. I don’t know where it came from, but mum and dad have given up on her so many times, that’s why they sent her to me, and now she’s torn you and Auds apart.” Urs looked up at his friends face, it was full of sadness and pain. He said “She didn’t tear us apart, I did that all by myself. It was me who told Auds. After I had showered in Seb’s room I went to our room and I told her everything, well everything I knew, which wasn’t much. She stayed really quiet, started crying, then started putting all her stuff into her bags. Just before she left she said “I can’t and won’t put up with anymore heartache, I love you so much, but its not worth all the pain anymore for the few days that we are happy.” then she walked off and I haven’t seen or heard from her since. I just curled up on the bed and cried for most of the day ignoring my phone and the knocks on the door.”

David grabbed a drink from the fridge and switched the cooker off, dinner having been forgotten about, and they went through and sat down. He picked up his phone and was dialling a number when Urs said “Who are you phoning?” “Mum, her and dad need to know that she’s done this again and then they can work on getting the truth out of her as to whether you actually did anything that night, at least that way you would know the truth and when you find Auds will be able to tell her properly.” Urs nodded and sat quietly while David spoke to his mum first then his dad, telling them everything Urs had just told him. He put down the phone and said “They’re furious with her, dad said he’s going to go out and find her right now and make her tell him what happened that night, he’ll phone me back when he finds out anything.” Urs nodded and said “Thanks David, What am I going to do without her? We’re only here for another couple of days then we have to go do our castle shows. I can’t go out and perform in front of all our fans feeling like this, I just don’t have the energy or the will to put on a good show for them. You saw me on our last few shows in America, I was terrible and I couldn’t make myself perform any better, I just didn’t have the energy.” David thought for a few minutes then said “Come on, I think we need to go talk to Simon. He might be able to help us find her.” Urs shook his head and said “I went to see him the night we landed here and he said he didn’t know where she was, just that she had looked worse than I did when she went to see him.” David said “I meant that he could give us the number of someone that could maybe track her. You’ve looked everywhere you could think of that she might be and no luck, so it might just take someone with more experience of finding people who don’t want to be found to find her for you.” Urs looked confused but nodded anyway and they got into David’s car and headed for Simon’s house.

They arrived at Simon’s house to find it in darkness, they knocked but he never answered. David looked at Urs and said “How about we go get something to eat and come back later?” Urs shook his head then seeing the look on David’s face said “If we must.” and they got back into the car and drove away. Just as they were turning the corner a car appeared and turned into Simon’s drive. Simon and Auds got out and emptied the car off all the shopping. Auds was going to cook Simon dinner as a thank you for letting her stay with him since she had come back. An hour and a half later they were sitting down enjoying the meal with a glass of wine when the doorbell rang. Simon told Auds to stay where she was and he went to answer it. “David, Urs” he said in surprise. “What are you two doing here?” David said “We’re sorry to bother you Simon, but Urs has just talked to me properly for the first time since Auds left him about what really happened and as he’s not had any luck finding her by himself, we thought that you might be able to give us the number of a guy that would be able to find her.” Simon thought about it for a few minutes then said “You know, I might actually have, come in for a minute while I look for it.” They walked into the house and followed Simon into his lounge and sat down. Simon walked over to the door which opened out into his kitchen and left it slightly ajar. Then he starts looking through drawers. He said “So, do you think you could tell me as well? I promise I won’t tell anyone, but I may be able to come up with an idea as to where she might have gone.”

He looked up from where he was and looked at Urs who eventually nodded his head and started to tell him exactly what he’d told David. Simon had stopped looking and had sat down shocked at what he was hearing. Just as Urs finished David’s phone rang and he answered it. He talked for a few minutes and then said “Its mum, dad’s found Jodie and has managed to get her to admit that she set you up, she is going to tell you herself.” He looked at Simon and said “Do you have a speaker phone? That way we can all hear what she has to say, if you don’t mind that is?” Simon nodded and said “Yeah, I do and I don’t mind.” David told his mum what Simon’s number was and hung up. A couple of seconds later Simon’s house phone rang, he answered it and put it on speaker. Jodie’s voice could be heard speaking. “David, are you there? Who else is there?” “Yes, I’m here and so is Urs and Simon.” he replied “You have something to tell us?” Jodie could hear the difference in his voice from the way he normally spoke to her and said “I am so sorry Davie” “Its not me that you need to be saying sorry to.” he said. Jodie took a deep breath then said “Urs, I am so sorry for what I did, I saw you that first night I was there with you guys, you were standing alone and I went to speak to you. When Auds came over to say that she was leaving to go do some work I thought to myself that if you were mine I would never leave your side.” she stopped for a breath then carried on. “I decided then that Auds wasn’t good enough for you and that I was going to split the two of you up and make you mine instead.” Urs had gone really pale and David could feel him shaking. He put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him, but Urs pushed it away. Jodie then said “I started gathering information about the two of you, how you met, your history together, any weaknesses etc.. I even took your phone no. off Auds laptop, so that I could start sending you sexy messages, but I never had to do that as I got my chance that same night when David asked me to go to dinner with him and you two.” “Jodie, can you just tell us about what you did after all that, did you and Urs sleep together?” said David trying to keep his voice calm.

There was silence then David shouted “Jodie” and she let out a sigh and said “No, we didn’t do anything, I got him really drunk, managed to get him into my room then just waited for him to pass out. I stripped him and scattered his clothes around the room along with mine then got into bed with him and waited til he realised where he was and who with.” Urs let out a sob as he remembered the pain he had felt when he’d turned her over and saw who it was. He said quietly “I wanted to just die when I woke up and found myself in bed with you, I thought that I had wrecked what I had with Auds because of what I’d done.” he stopped then said “I went and told her, even though I didn’t know what had happened, I still told her and she walked out on me without even giving me a chance to try and explain and now I can’t find her.” he broke down into tears then unaware that Auds was sitting on the kitchen floor beside the open door in tears as well, having heard everything. “I really am sorry Urs, I felt bad afterwards when I saw how much her leaving affected you, but I couldn’t change it then.” said Jodie. Urs sniffed then said “Thank you for telling us what really happened, but I never want to see or hear from you ever again” and he hung up the phone. He sat down on the chair again and said “I really need to find Auds now, so I can tell her that nothing happened.” Simon moved towards the open door and could tell by the sobs he was hearing coming from the other side that Auds had heard everything too. He looked at Urs and said “Maybe you should go help yourself to a drink Urs, the kitchen is just through there.” he said pointing to the open door. Urs nodded and standing up said “Thanks Simon.” then headed through the door. David went to follow him, but Simon stopped him. He waited for him to realise that Auds was in there, but he came back with a glass of water 2 minutes later. Simon looked confused and he said “Excuse me for a minute.” then he went into the kitchen to find it empty. He sighed softly and went to find her. He went upstairs and knocked on her bedroom door then walked in. She was lying on the bed in tears and he sat down beside her and said “What are you doing up here? I know you heard everything, you know bad Urs feels and he’s really not coping without you at all, and then Jodie’s confession as well, he didn’t sleep with her, she just made it look like he did. You can’t hide away from him forever, he came here to ask me for a number of someone who could find you professionally as he’s had no luck by himself.” Auds looked up at him and wiped the tears away and said “Yeah, I heard everything, but I need time to think it all through, I meant what I said to him, its not worth all the heartache for the few days at a time that we are happy. I’ve heard both David and Carlos say at different times “What’s happened now” or “God, can you two not get through a week without falling out over something?” I do love him, I always will and I know that he loves me, but is it enough?” Simon nodded his head and said “Well, they’re still downstairs and if you want to come down, I know that he’ll be happy to see you.” He stood up and went back down to David and Urs.

They stayed at Simon’s for around an hour when they stood up to leave. They were standing at the front door just about to walk out it when all they heard was “Urs”
